I have been in place 108 for 2 days now. Getting tired of it. But oh well, a Ponzi is a Ponzi.

Bitcoin wasn't created to deal with low value transactions as far as I know. If you want to send an amount that is lower then it's fee, then you are doing something stupid and wrong. But well, that's my opinion.

I love DOGE, for example, (especially its community) All the people that I know are annoying as fuck and the coin itself is a joke. But well, that is my opinion.

I haven't been here for a long time (7 months to be exact) and I am just a regular user. I don't have a fancy product nor trust to show off with and I am getting tired of all those spammy, FUD spreading and just annoying topics all day, every day. It ruins BitcoinTalk for me and I really don't feel like going through multiple pages just to find a few (or just one) interesting topic.
Putting back the Newbie Restrictions would be a way of at least decreasing the amount of spam and bullshit the forum has to endure every single day.

^ That looks great man. Well done on the profit and those lovely charts!

Thanks for that simple explanation. Yet some people don't understand that.
That's life ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Bitcointalk > life, in this case. It is much worse here. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Well, that's true. But oh well, we have been off-topic for to long now, haha. If you want to continue our little chat (which I enjoyed greatly) you can always send me a PM ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Yeah I've read that topic. I just don't understand these people. I will openly say that I currently do not know what nLockTime is used for, but I do not post about it claiming random nonsense when I lack the knowledge. That seems the problem in many people. You're most likely correct on the matter.
It's easy. It prevents a transaction from being accepted into the Blockchain before a certain timestamp or block is reached. That is the basic explanation of nLockTime. Nothing more, nothing less.

So perhaps the right solution is a trust based system with some level of reversibility added to instil confidence in the underlying system.
The most important thing for bitcoins adoption is trust - and I don't mean that technically. I mean that on a emotional human level. Right now most people don't trust BTC for shit because so many people get scammed, coins stolen etc... Just because most people here get and know computer security, you can't expect the same of the other 99% of people who don't even know how to turn their tvs on if they lost the remote. You could take a look at the following website: http://www.bit2factor.org/ or http://www.bitescrow.org/ depending on your needs. It might be useful for you and your purposes.

This is why we need newbie restrictions back and even set the requirements higher. This is getting out of control. Too many pointless, FUD spreading threads from OP with limited to no knowledge.
I totally agree with you. I am so tired of all this bullshit. A day can't go by without someone claiming that the Bitcoin price will fall and trying to make people sell their coins. A day can't go by without hundreds if not thousands of posts claiming something which is completely wrong or not backed by any facts (i.e. due to lack of knowledge). Worse thing is, people believe it. They sell their coins for no reason and those FUD spreaders earn a decent buck because of it. It's a cheap, unfair and low way to earn money.

I'm glad that I was correct, because I thought that I was going insane and that I should read up on the Bitcoin Network, again.
That would be a pretty stupid fault in the network, using common sense one must realize that this is not the case. 90-95% users here now lack a fair amount of knowledge, I don't even wanna begin imagining how they see the complex stuff.. +1 for you. And well, here is an example on how they treat complex stuff. It's not that complex, but oh well. Someone states that nLockTime is used for Reverse Transactions. I could be wrong about my statement, but I highly doubt it since I used it to create LockMyCoins (which is currently being redone).

What if these pennies end up landing in people's paper wallets? I read that multiple deposits to paper wallets could render them unusable. I hope I am wrong. That is pure bullshit. Why would a paper wallet become unusable because of a dust transaction that will never be confirmed? Makes no sense to me. Too many people here talk before acquiring enough knowledge, sadly. Correct, a paper wallet can not become unusable because of a dust transaction when even if it would get confirmed. I'm glad that I was correct, because I thought that I was going insane and that I should read up on the Bitcoin Network, again.

see the locktime in tx headers.
The block number or timestamp at which this transaction is locked: Value | Description | 0 | Always locked | < 500000000 | Block number at which this transaction is locked | >= 500000000 | UNIX timestamp at which this transaction is locked |
If all TxIn inputs have final (0xffffffff) sequence numbers then lock_time is irrelevant. Otherwise, the transaction may not be added to a block until after lock_time (see NLockTime). nLockTime is a parameter that can be attached to a transaction, that mandates a minimal time (specified in either unix time or block height), that before this time, the transaction cannot be accepted into a block. locktime is something completely different. I build LockMyCoins around it, so I'm quite sure about it. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it.

Ik raad je aan om eens naar BitPay te kijken. Zij ondersteunen een heleboel verkoopmogelijkheden en zetten de Bitcoins automatisch voor je om in euro's (of niet, als je liever Bitcoins hebt).

Got this earlier this morning trying to connect to blockchain.info:
That is quite normal for Blockchain.info. They have been slow for a while now and these errors sometimes pop up. Nothing to worry about ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
