It looks like Dan and Stan Larimer hit the jackpot once again in EOS.  Now I hope they stick to the project and commit this time.  But I wouldn't be surprised if the Larimers dump and move on once again...  Wink

I became curious, whether the second leg semi-final match later AS Roma able to 'come back' again as they against Barcelona? Liverpool are a team that has a strong mentality and have a good reputation when competing at UCL, not easy for AS Roma reverse the situation in the second leg later, especially now three attackers from his opponent is in on fire condition.

Well...  With LFC conceding two away goals late in the game then they def gave Roma some rope to win the Semis at the second leg.

The same was said of Barca vs Roma.  Anything can happen in knockout football.

8563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 28, 2018, 10:06:38 AM
Force India was strong during FP1, with Perez and Ocon finishing third and fifth.  Merc and RBR were strong too as expected with Bottas at first and Ricciardo second.  The Ferraris were meh...

At FP2, RBR def showed strength with Ricciardo and Verstappen first and third, Raikonnen was second and the Mercsmat fourth and fifth.  Where's Vettel?  Lol.  Grin  ...  Down at 11th.  It was his fault, not the car's when asked by media.

FP3 is ongoing right now...

Anyway can't the time sheets.  I'm on mobile...  Too lazy to copy/paste.

Swansea - Chelsea BTTS
Burnley +0
Leicester - Crystal Palace BTTS

Good luck everyone and happy Saturday  Cool

Care to share the odds on your bets?  Love the Burnley one btw...  You not gonna risk it and go for the -0/-0.5?  Wink

They were +EV for me last year.  Not so much this year tho.

Liverpool vs Stoke
Swansea vs Chelsea
Newcastle vs WBA

Bolded teams to win - 3 game parlay

At what odds?

Who are the most popular poker players/gamblers/degens who are also known to dabble in and out of crypto?  Chances are it's him/her.  I know Doug Polk is into crypto and so is Dan Bilzerian.

Besides that I don't know...  Maybe Victor Blom recently got into crypto.  Lol.
8566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Consensus 2018 is Coming. Which Projects Have the Best Marketing? on: April 27, 2018, 08:38:14 AM
Consensus 2018 is just around the corner and as we've seen last year, some projects were pumped by more than 10x in an effort to make it more attractive for investors and make it look really good in terms of market cap and chart aesthetics (LOL).

It's also a good way to 'market' their projects better cos who wants to buy into a falling coin?

Anyway, which projects are going 100% on their marketing right now?  I think those coins are more likely gonna go +10x as the event draws closer.

I see Tron's Reddit and that dude Justin Sun never stops.  Lmao.  Cheesy
8567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker: hands analysis, useful stuff and general discussions on: April 27, 2018, 08:24:06 AM
Nice.  But it wouldn't really be problem if they accept BTC and convert them into USD like how ACR does it.  As long as that payment option is on there then it's fine.

I'm sure Galfond has heard of BTC from the likes of Doug Polk...  He has come a looong way since their 'Ship it Holla Balla' days.
8568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 27, 2018, 08:17:59 AM
FP1 at Baku in 45 mins or so...  I can't be more excited for this race.  We have RBR getting close to their best, Ferrari who are at their best and we have Merc potentially reaching their best on Sunday.  Grin

Can't wait for qualifying and see the starting grid!

8569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 224: Nunes vs Pennington Info and Prediction Thread on: April 27, 2018, 08:13:41 AM
^  Lol.  UFC 224 can now be captioned 'The Battle of the Lesbians'.  Grin

I think this fight could be closer than what the bookies lines show, and I might even make a bet for Pennington.  But we'll see as the event gets closer...  I could bet on Nunes if her line improves.

Then a day later it all starts to go down again.  Lmao.  Better choose the right alts folks...  I think everybody must have started learning a thing or two about crypto by now.  I don't think the more blatant scams will be pumping as much as before.

At least choose the scam that looks like it's really working on the code.

Anyway we'll see this summer.  I hope it accepts crypto.
8573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 25, 2018, 11:38:41 AM
@Wendigo, of course we're ready! I can't believe I've to miss the first half though (family and all that). My prediction is over 3 goals actually, haha. I also took a handicap of -1.25 @2.1 but only because better odds weren't available earlier. Fiat bets on bookies have Salah to score at 7/1 so definitely worth $10!

@Trofo oh hell yeah, the last person to remember how to park the bus at Anfield was Lucas Leiva (god I feel old).

@tokeweed Dzeko to score maybe! But the match can't end 1-0 =p

Lol.  In hindsight I guess it was part wishful thinking and partly to annoy all the people in here who echo each other about LFC.  Grin

Good game tho.  But Roma didn't mark Salah at all imo.

And yes Dzeko to score.  Wink
8574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 24, 2018, 11:47:49 AM
Roma ML @6.70  Cheesy

Am I the only one who thinks we're not going to see that many goals today? I think we're going to see a conservative game, Liverpool won't necessarily park the bus but I doubt Klopp prepared the same tactics we saw against Man City at Anfield (full out attack in the first half). AS Roma on ther other are really good at defending, in their first match vs Barcelona, if it wasn't for two own goals, the result would've been 2-1, in the second match they didn't concede a single goal. Under 2.5 Goals @ 2.30 right now looks ok to me, but I'll give it a bit more thought.

Notice Roma's adjustment from the first leg to the second leg vs Barca.  Roma used a 4 3 3 in the first leg and then adjusted to a 3 5 2 in attack or 5 4 1 (expecting Barca's pressing game) in defense during the second leg, with three center backs defending man to man vs Suarez, Messi and Dembele and with two Roma wide men backing the CB's up..  Roma could use the same strategy vs Liverpool later.

If things go well for Roma, it could be 0 - 1 with Dzeko scoring a header.
8575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 24, 2018, 10:27:33 AM
You can't really discount Roma tho...  I mean they only eliminated arguably the best club of the tournament.  Lol.  And just like Roma's away goal vs Barca, it's gonna be crucial again vs LFC that they get one.

^  Hilarousandco is obv from England.  That's why he's been beating all your asses in the betting pool.

Anyway I'm willing to play for 100 GBP for an EPL fantasy league if hilarious organizes it, it's way more fun, less for a betting pool prediction.

^  Add Shaw and Martial to that list.  I think both are still young with so much potential and pretty much overlooked at Man United.

There are rumors that Pogba could leave too, but I don't think that's happening.  Not this coming season at least.  Grin

We're going to see quite the FA Cup final: Man Utd vs Chelsea. But even though this is an important trophy in english football, I think it'll be nothing more than a consolation prize, I doubt the fa cup was a priority for both Conte and Mou at the start of the season.

Also, what's with Chelsea players getting angry after being subbed off? the other day it was Morata, today it was Willian...that dressing room doesn't look too happy with Conte.

Well Mourinho wasn’t employed & paid millions upon millions a season to win the FA Cup or League Cup or Europa League. He was employed by Man Utd to try & win the PL & or CL which he has failed spectacularly in doing so far despite spending hundreds of millions.

Conte will be sacked this summer any way but he brought them the title.

Also @tokeweed - I suppose I agree. Burnley might find it tough to keep hold of Dyche, do you agree?

Nah...  Beyond Burnley I think the absolute best club to hire him would be some club like Everton.  'Modern' UK based managers usually aren't as good as their foreign counterparts as you guys already experienced with the old Daglish and Hogdson.  The great SAF (for United) is an exception.

Edit:  And Brendan Rodgers.  Admit it, without Suarez you wouldn't finish second in the league at the 2012 - 2013 season(?).  Cheesy

Edit:  But then again, I hope we see an English/UK based manager get to the top.  Eddie Howe and Dyche come to mind.
any manager now will be better for Arsenal the club needs new atmosphere and the task should be easier for the new manager to come then the one was given to Moyes back at Manchester United because he had a team that reached experation date and ther was big expectation from him while now when you see Arsenal squad they are slightly better then united back then also there is not big pressure on the next new guy unless he spends big next season and he don't even achieve top4 and if he opt for notspending much and improve Arsenal overall performance he would be given atleast one more season to make the team better. Guardiola is rooting for Vierra but i think he still young and lack experience but who knows he could be the one that Arsenal needs.

Literally anyone?  Would you want Tony Pulis or Sam Allardyce in there...?  Lol.

And of course Pep would root for Vieira.  Both City and New York City FC have the same owners.  Grin

Been playing some poker again...  Forgot how fun but boring it can get after an hour or so.  Do you guys have any plans on adding Open Face Chinese Poker (pineapple version)?  I think that would be a good attraction for other bored people who want to gamble like me.  Lol.

Seriously...?  The FA Cup is one prestigious cup to have for a club's trophy collection.  It's the League Cup that isn't much of a priority but still good imo.

To say that it's just a 'consolation prize' is plain wrong...  I mean with all the history behind the FA Cup and all.

F*ck me.  -_-

I think I need a short break from betting again.  The sports betting gods, like the poker gods, they're rigging the games against me.

Stoke vs Burnley - Under 2.5 goals, I expect a boring, low quality game.

Burnley has been anything but 'low quality' the past couple of years.  I vote Sean Dyche for manager of the year.

Spurs did ‘a Spurs’ once again, every time it looks like they could win something they choke.
As for today I think the following -

Arsenal vs West Ham - Arsenal to win comfortably, maybe Wenger’s announcement will lift the whole club & they’ll finish the season well.

Stoke vs Burnley - Under 2.5 goals, I expect a boring, low quality game.

Man City vs Swansea - Party atmosphere at The Etihad, home of the new champions. Easy home win.

2 out of 3 winning bets so far for me though.
It’ll be 3 out of 3 soon as City are 2-0 up after 30 mins.

Just saying...  Burnley has performed more than expected.  If they get in the Europa League that would be their first in 50 years.
