You might want to contact ICOEthics. He's doing a very good job at writing and finding a scam ICO projects. I'm not sure if he's interested in joining your team but you should definitely check him out. He has a good reputation too, most of his time is spent on Scam Accusations board.

trading in the forum is riskier.
It depends on how you do it. If you use a reputable escrow, then the chance you got scammed will be much lower than if you use anonymous instant exchange without any reputation. In fact, I tend to believe that trading or exchanging coins in this forum with escrow + multisig is much safer than using services like Changelly. I'd suggest OP to read further about it and of course, compare it with other available options.

Sepertinya menarik daripada sendiri-sendiri bikin konten, kalau mau bikin platform publikasi lalu disatukan biar platformnya jadi tebal, banyak traffic, dapat iklan juga.
Jadi deh Hackernoon ID

Try not to use the wallet file that the Fake Electrum has generated. Instead, restore it to the Original version via SEED. You may also needed to scan the whole computer for possible malware installed by the fake version if there's any.
If I understand it correctly, OP already did delete the old wallet and start from the beginning but when he tried to make a transaction the error comes out because he's connected to a bad server. So here's what happens: he used an old version of Electrum which connected to a bad server and failed to make a transaction. After that, he downloaded a new Electrum (the legit one) and tried to use it but it fails again because he's still connected to a bad server.

One possible inconvenience is that if you use a native SegWit address, you have to either send it first into nested SegWit or legacy address before sending your BTC to an exchange (might change in the future when more exchanges support native SegWit address). Other than that, I don't think there's any other problem.

It's because all of them mooned in December '17 to Jan '18. New moon boys join the ride and blindly buy anything because it seems any coins can make them rich quickly. After that, they crashed dramatically altogether and a lot of people leave the market because they think this is another failed experiment. The graph is quite funny though.

I believe there should be inflation to get the economy of Bitcoin going so the market cap rises on actual economic activity than pointless speculation. This should be fixed at about 1.5% annually. This will encourage investment and commerce, which is the point of a currency.
I'm not sure if I get this point correctly, but why inflation is required to push economic activity? I'm pretty sure more adoption (merchant start accepting bitcoin, etc) is the key for healthy economic activities, and as you said, not mere speculation. If you want to encourage investment, there is no need to produce more bitcoin. If the supply of the money increase then its buying power will decrease too. Instead of doing that, we should encourage valuable development which will be worth more in the future than today.

- Why do they sell these bots? Will not it be easier for bot owners to use themselves instead of selling?
Because their bots can't guarantee they will make profits. Trading bots are just a bot, they can make mistake because all of them depends on technical analysis which sometimes sucks. Selling these bots would be more profitable because they can get at least somewhat better income from users. - Do the owners of these bots use their bots?
No one really knows. I tend to believe they don't use it or rarely use it.

I am not sure how to move my thread to "scam accusation", I will contact admins, maybe they will help.
There is a move topic option on the bottom left of the thread that you started. You can click it and then you'll be able to select which board to move and then click ok/next something similar. It's faster than contacting an admin, which I doubt he'll respond to something like this. Mod might help you though.

I don't get the reason why BCH was accepted. They said it was because their donors were interested in different cryptos, but why BCH? Why not LTC? or XLM if they want to get the lowest fee as possible?
Something sounds off.

Another way to do it (after you install your Electrum) is to open your "Activities" window (press Windows key on your keyboard or click "Activities" on top-left of your desktop), and click Electrum. Your Electrum apps will open and you'll notice an Electrum icon on your taskbar/dock. Right-click the icon and click "Add to favorites".
This will make you can run Electrum by simply clicking the icon on the dock.

This is one of the most valuable thread I've ever read there. Even though I'm not new to this crypto world but I still don't accumulate to the point as OP did (and it looks like OP is here longer than me), so congrats OP. The guide covers a lot of topic from learning about crypto and fiat to the differences of BTC and BCH, I'm not sure if this will attract more people to read or they just skim it (because they want fancier design?), but it's good.
I'll beat you and get my first Bitcoin at the end of this year (hopefully)!

Just watched the last ama and I'm pretty impressed with the progress. Big actual partnership in next week right? My only regret is that I only have a fraction of CHX in my bag now. Wanted to buy more but have no money, damn it. We invite you to come across to Altmarkets, feel free to fill in a listing request for CHX
Own should be listed on Bittrex, or something similar btw. The current market cap is still low and pretty much undervalued.

Hello, every time I go to do a transaction for Bitfinex, look at the cost of the operation, Bitfinex is a very good exchange, I would like to operate there, but as they put the 10k to start trading, I could not, but as a trader I I say, that Bitfinex is the number 1 exchange, all the other exchanges adjust the price that is imposed on Bitfinex, since that is where Strong Hands come in.
You should study more about Bitfinex, its relation to Cryptocapital, Quadriga, Coinapult, Cex.io and so on. Cryptomedication did good research about them on his Telegram channel. The read thread that connects them all, in short, is that they're facing withdrawal issue and nearly insolvent right now.

Once HARA launches the platform we will definitely publish something of that nature. To answer your question, yes you can, as long as you include it in the email that you plan to use it. Alright. I'm still waiting for the reply to my email but I guess there's no need to rush. Btw, if I live in some city that was not previously "supported" by Hara, for example in Nusa Tenggara, can I still participate as a field agent/data validator?

Just in case you want to join any bounty in the future, I think leaving your forum time as GMT or the default forum time is better because most bounty use that as the global time. You'd miss a deadline accidentally if you set forum time to your local time. Many people do this kind of mistake when they join a bounty campaign.

Consider the time needed for coin arbitrage between exchanges. lots of coins that take a long time so that the coin falls before the deposit process is complete.
This is precisely the risk of arbitrage, it's impossible to avoid this unless you want to risk further by exchanging your coins/tokens to other which has faster transaction speed with lower fees like XLM. It's challenging but that's the fact, and I bet only a few people will be able to do this because the price will suddenly go up or down when the opportunity to arbitrage was taken by someone. 1 thing that i know make arbitrage really succesfull is when Bigger market open new pair from an altcoin to bitcoin.
That's not really the case, in fact, trading on the old market might be more profitable because you can just sell your coins there before it got listed on the new exchange. But this kind of hype is not present in this bear market, is it?

I wonder who buy this token. For what do we need BitTorrent tokens exactly? It's overhyped and with the technical issues, only makes 600+ people can join the sale. Hmm, looks like those 600 are the only want who succeed to get rich quickly. On top of that, only 6% of the total tokens are being sold. Do we still believe it will hit $1?
Even if it did reach that point, I still believe this token existence is not necessary.

Robert McKendrick was ordered to pay more than £14m by a British court last year for his role in projects including an African farming scam after a flashy promotional campaign that duped more than 2,500 investors. I wonder how can people fall to this guy scam. According to the news, he is famous or known to run many fail projects previously, and interestingly most investors came from Africa/Middle East. Seems like the promise of high return makes people forgot to do their due diligence. And sadly his scams were using Bitcoin (mostly) as an investment. Let's hope this will prevent further scam and educate people.
