8561  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Marine Le Pen win? on: February 23, 2017, 04:39:03 PM
It is going to be extremely difficult for Marine Le Pen. In the first round, I have no doubt that she is going to win. But in the second round, all the mainstream parties are going to unite against her. I am still curious about who will be her opponent in the second round. If it is either Benoît Hamon or François Fillon, then there is a small chance for Le Pen. But zero chance if her opponent is Emmanuel Macron.

I agree with you.
But, if external conditions change dramatically, and, for example, another terrorist attack happen in the France during presidential campaign, than chances for Le Pen will increase dramatically.
In the state of fear people don't think logically and can vote based on their feelings, not rational thinking.
Trump and Brexit already created very good conditions for her.
She is smarter than her father and knows how to manipulate voters.
So, everything is possible, really.
8562  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Space X and the prospects of Mars colonization. on: February 23, 2017, 04:30:54 PM
Space X is very developed technology and step closer to Mars colonization, I agree.
Still, there are many, many problems to solve before such event happen.
Cosmic radiation in space, weakening of the bones due to the lower gravity in space during a long journey, a storms on Mars, water, materials, energy, construction of settlements, delivery of materials and equipment from Earth etc.
So, in my opinion, we are still very far from such trip.
8563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who NEEDS bitcoin in a democratic society? on: February 23, 2017, 04:21:20 PM
Many people are using bitcoin for ideological reasons, others out of convenience, for fun or for profit, perhaps even to buy illegal goods and services online.

But in a democratic society*, are there any use cases for which bitcoin is the only viable alternative?

*Provided that in most -if not all democratic countries widespread trust in government supported legal tender hasn't not been breached.

Yes, of course Smiley
Many countries have too high taxes and banks have excessive fees on money transfers.
For me, it's very good reason to use bitcoin instead of local currency, and save a lot money.
Most governments do not recognize bitcoin as a separate currency, or financial assets, and this means that we are not violating any laws or financial regulations.
Democracy is good system but sometimes to expensive.
If I can avoid paying to much taxes in legal way, why not? Smiley
8564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have stopped introducing bitcoin to others! on: February 23, 2017, 04:15:08 PM
after 3 years of introducing bitcoin to other people and getting at least 100 of them into bitcoin I have stopped.

because all these years I have never told anyone bitcoin is an investment, whenever there is talk of bitcoin I first say bitcoin is a currency and show them the benefits of it as a currency, being decentralized as the best thing and then the security and speed and finally the cheap fees and lots more.
then I introduce them to services they can use with bitcoin, and all the discounts they can get.

but honestly I can no longer give any answer to the question saying "why would I pay $0.9-$1 fee for using a new thing called bitcoin that I don't even understand instead of using my credit card for free that I have been using my whole life."

of course I can always start arguing about lots of other things and benefits and start talking about bitcoin being an investment but deep down I agree with them and also I hate telling new people "bitcoin is an investment and you are gonna make profit from price rise", that is just silly.

First, thank you for all your hard work and effort in order to find new bitcoin users.
You did really great job!
Second, you gave very good explanation about bitcoin. They shouldn't look at bitcoin as investment.
Third, let's deal with their question about fees.
I never had to pay 0.9-1 $ for my BTC transactions.
They can offer smaller fee and still their transaction will be confirmed.
CC is never 100 % free, because of membership fees or provision by merchants.
Also, it's very easy to truck CC transactions by bank or tax office.
BTC transactions they can't truck or follow.
For me, more than enough reasons to use bitcoin Smiley

8565  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Kretanje cijene on: February 23, 2017, 04:03:20 PM

91511 Unconfirmed Transactions Live updating list of new bitcoin transactions

Very interesting photos, thank you for sharing.
You have to be aware that foreigners in Korea don't have freedom to go anywhere.
They can visit only places allowed by the government.
North Korea is very isolated and closed country, without any real freedom.
All citizens are brainwashed and believe that North Korea is the best country on the planet Earth.
It's like in Orwell's book ''1984''.
They also trying to manipulate all foreigners, showing only the best places in their country.
In reality, people are poor and literally starving in N. KOrea.
It's so sad reality.
8568  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you think Trumps supporters still love him? on: February 21, 2017, 04:08:55 PM
Trump supporters and voters mostly was protest voters.
They voted against political establishment, so Trump was perfect choice for them.
They lost faith and trust in traditional politicians and wanted radical change.
Trump was obvious choice.
They also don't trust traditional media or institutions and believe everything Trump says.
So, of course that they still love him.
It's question how long long they will have faith in Trump?
8569  Economy / Economics / Re: where should i invest my 0.5 btc ? on: February 21, 2017, 03:59:16 PM
Why do you want to invest your bitcoin?
Any particular reason?
Any investment coming with huge risk, so please be aware about it.
In fact, since bitcoin price increased a lot recently, I think that you can earn much more just if you continue to keep btc funds in your wallet, instead of investing.
In investing you can loose but if you keep funds in the wallet, you can just wait for price increase and sell, with good profit.

8570  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: February 21, 2017, 03:54:54 PM
Getting "free" bitcoin was probably possible the time when only very few ppl believed in the success of bitcoin. Now, as everybody knows about the success of bitcoin, there is no more "free" coins to get. You won't get any fiat currency for free neither.
yes that is right but i think you can earn bitcoin for free if you have some good skill of writing articles or if you are a good designer then you can surely make money for free, in the sense that you are not investing your money for earning bitcoin.

No, you are wrong.
If you have to offer your own time, or effort, in order to earn or get some bitcoin, we can't talk about ''earning free bitcoin''.
Right now, you either have to invest money, timed or some work, in order to get bitcoin.
In America I heard once very wise words: ''There is no such thing as free lunch'' Smiley
So, nothing is for free, any more.
8571  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is science a religion? on: February 19, 2017, 03:17:30 PM
In my opinion, scientists can only discover things created already by our creator, God.
They can't create anything but only repeat things from the God's creation.
If can't explain something, scientists makes theory.
Theory is their belief, but not proof.
So, yes, science is also kind of religion.
Any way, scientists can only research created universe (from the moment of creation).
They can't research before creation (before time and space), so they are limited really and should be humble before the Creator, God.
Only God knows everything.

8572  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WILL DONALD TRUMP PERFORMED BETTER THAN OBAMA on: February 19, 2017, 03:11:04 PM
It's to early to answer such question.
Trump is president only a few weeks and Obama was president 8 years.
Obama had many great achievement (he received Nobel peace prize for example, Obama Care, financial regulation etc.)  and because of this he was respected in both America and the world.
Trump still didn't accomplish anything, realistically.
We will judge him after 4 or 8 years, based on his concrete actions and achievements, not words or promises.
8573  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Give me some advice. I am new to this. on: February 19, 2017, 03:05:42 PM
I need information on how this website works and how I can earn BTC thru campaigns. I would really appreciate links and comments so that I will be able to know the right information about BTCs. Thank u.

First, read this forum, all sections, and try to understand everything about bitcoin, rules, signatures campaigns etc.
You may earn bitcoin here also if you have some skills, like programming, or can translate in other languages.
Different signature campaigns you can find under Market and services.
As new member, you can't join them, but you can understand requirements for each campaign, rules, check about payment.
I suggest that you invest in quality of your posts on this forum.
Good quality posts, together with forum rank soon, will help you to become member of some good paying signature campaign.
Good luck!
8574  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: February 19, 2017, 02:57:34 PM
yeah. there are many way to earn free bitcoin.there are some site who provide free bitcoin.

Yes, there are many ways to earn free bitcoin but most of such ways are useless, because you receive to little for the time and effort involved.
I tried several free ways to earn bitcoin and, right now, I feel that only worth free way to earn bitcoin is through signature campaigns.
Technically, it's not free way to earn bitcoin exactly, since some work is involved and writing constructive posts is important (post quality and forum rank).
Still, since I enjoy to visit this forum and join different discussions, it's perfect way for me to earn some bitcoin while I do something I will do any way.

8575  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump vs. the US Mainstream Media - Vote your opinion! on: February 18, 2017, 03:15:46 PM
It's joke really.
President Trump using so much, as he said ''alternative facts'' (basically lies) that he started to believe in his own lies.
When media showed and proved his lies, he didn't apologize but attacked media.
It seems that Trump lives in his ''own'' reality and don't want to accept truth, or facts, if such facts are different from his own opinion or words.
It's sad that so many people still trust Trump, even after so many false facts he shared until now.
It's really shows how easy is to manipulate people.
8576  Other / Politics & Society / Re: EU is the Nazi 4th Reich on: February 18, 2017, 03:07:20 PM
Nazis tried to occupy the whole of Europe and make the great German Empire, not to create a European Union.
They killed a lot people for such goal.
EU started like vision and idea how to break political and economical barriers between European countries, and start the age of peace and cooperation in Europe.
We can say that EU fulfilled this goal and vision but now is time to redefine their goals and vision.
Germany leads EU? Strong countries always leads, it's nothing strange about it.
Still, Germany have only 1 vote in EU council, 1 of 28.

8577  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 18, 2017, 02:59:03 PM
In the beginning, I tried many ways to earn bitcoin.
I tried with some HYIP programs, casinos, trading, gambling etc.
It's not easy to earn bitcoin in such ways.
On the end, I find signature campaigns and I happy now to earn bitcoin for something I do any way, writing on this forum Smiley
I also trying other ways to earn bitcoin, like starting my own online business, but it's not easy task.
8578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to purchase my first bit coin, need advice on: February 18, 2017, 02:55:11 PM

You have a several ways to get bitcoin.
Purchase is one, but you can collect bitcoin in other ways, for some work offered, with writing on this fiorum (signature campaigns), collecting faucets etc.
Please do also good research about bitcoin wallets, in order to find good one.
8579  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is going on in Venezuela??? on: February 16, 2017, 04:15:17 PM
Raids on bitcoin miners? Shutting down the bank account of the local bitcoin exchange? People are using scales to weigh the national currency when they want to buy things? Maduro, the bus driver, is still somehow in power. WTF? Seems like Venezuela has devolved from a rich Latin American country known for producing oil, gold, and super models into some hellish version of a Spanish Speaking Zimbabwe.

Can anyone share their stories about what's happening in Venezuela? How much longer do we have to watch this shit show until Venezuelans reform their economic policies and kick out their failing dictator?

I would really like to travel and potentially invest in Venezuela but now really doesn't seem like a good time.

I wouldn't advise you to travel in Venezuela, or to invest money there.
Venezuela failed in political chaos and there is a lot political instability and violence there.
It's shame because Venezuela is very rich with natural resources, such as oil, but socialists government (or maybe it's better to say communist) destroyed this country.
Chavez died and nothing is left behind him, only chaos.

8580  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Efficient way to eradicate corruption on: February 16, 2017, 04:06:45 PM
Before thinking of the consequences, we should consider the causes of this problem.
What is the cause of corruption?
We are weak people, confused, without a moral compass...
Where is the origin of absolute value and morality?
In God.
Since we are separated from God, we lost sense of morality.
We replaced absolute morality from God with our own, human morality, relative and changeable.
Because of this, we see corruption and selfishness in the world, as result.
