Yes the way they handled the situation was ideal for a crypto related site.
They halted withdraws and they announced everywhere that they were hacked.
Most services wouldn't do this because it's damaging to their credibility, take MtGox and Cryptsy for example.
They got hacked and remained silent until they can into solvency issues.

If it is sure that gambling can change ones life for better, everybody will gamble. Gambling can ruin and by chance it can make life better.
Even if someone actually does win the lottery, does it make their life better? I remember seeing on TV a documentary about lottery winners and most of them end up losing the money after 1-2 years and even go bankrupt. Their financial situation becomes worse after the win the lottery. Because most gamble it all away or they buy stuff they don't need.

Ok I'm ready to burn my computer. Someone please help me. I have a R280X that runs Cryptonite at 485h/s and according to the charts should run Equihash around 290 h/s. I'm running claymore 12.6 on Slushpool and when the miner starts it does 275h/s. It then begins to throttle down in steps down to 145 h/s and sometimes lower. I recently watch it go as low as 40 h/s before climbing back up to 145 h/s. Does anybody know why the rates are so low, and also the -i and -il commands do nothing to the hashrate. I'm running the "blockchain" drivers but had the same problem when running AMD 15.2. Any ideas? Bob
Which GPU is this exactly? Most likely your fans are dead or dying and your GPU is throttling. Then why does it run full guns 485 h/s when mining cryptonite ? no problem there...only problem is equihash and claymore 12.6 What Is the make and model of your 280x ? Try using the older 15.12 drivers and set clock to 1050/1500 or so.

Basic TA is not difficult to learn. It basically applies on all stock markets, futures, metals, Forex, etc.
However keep in mind it doesn't work all the time. Works maybe 20-25% of the time.
When it doesn't work you need to use fundamentals or tight stop losses. And let your winners run.

|
|
It depends.
Basically it everybody withdrew and there was no buyers then obviously price would crash.
But if everyone withdrew but at the same time an equal amount also bought BTC then price would stay exactly the same.

Hey guys, As many of you are probably already aware we are back up and running! Yeeey! On your login you will be asked to reset your password, you can do that in one of two ways. 1. You can change password from any device that is still logged into your account. 2. You can contact our support team. ( Please note that support will be slower than usual due to huge amount of tickets we are getting at this moment. Also for users safety all withdrawals are currently on manual. I think what is really scary about this incident is imagine what could of happebed if the hackers weren't lazy. They would at an unsuspecting time ( when PD dev are sleeping ) commit the hack and make the phishing site look for authentic. When someone tried to login, they would go to the real PD and perform a withdraw. The way the registrar handled this situation was very dangerous. Hopefully many Bitcoin sites and services can learn from this incident. In this case, Primedice can't be reached via IP: if they change the DNS, they can't find the authentic website. Of course, your idea is valid and can be used in some websites. Yes but this is not what happened is it? Basically the registrar redirected the traffic to a different IP. The old site was still accessible by the old IP. The hacker would simply record the usernames and passwords and then go to the real Primedice website by the IP address. Plus, it takes a few hours for DNS to update. It's not instant but bottle necked by the ISP

You can basically learn basic technical analysis and apply it on the higher end time frames like the daily or the weekly charts.
Use moving averages and when it breaks the moving average it's usually a time to sell.
Only issue is that it's usually too late to sell at a good price since they are all lagging indicators
|
|
|
Basically nobody can predict the future.
Most already sold way too earlier.
The smart thing to do is sell in parts every few months or years. That way if there is another bubble you can at least sell at a great price.

What is the largest amount you gained from these faucets? To me they do not appear worthwhile.
These days it's definitely not worth while since they will most likely all get halted before withdraw. However if you search YouTube in 2015 for videos on how to win big from faucet there are plenty of videos. Many people basically claimed the faucet, bet on 75% and tried to make 10x the faucet really quick and then just tipped themselves the min tip amount and after a few hours they made enough for the min withdraw. Can't do that anymore these days .

iam really confused ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) not sure who to believe..... See the evidence for yourself. If you search the forum there was evidence and screenshots posted by the PD dev after the phishing attempt was caught. This was right around the time they were given the red trust.

We're back. We're waiting to move the domain off the registrar but we've put the site back. We do not believe the attackers can recover the domain back again but we will be keeping a careful eye on things. If you have a password set as a pre-caution we'll be requiring you to quickly swap it out when reloading https://primedice.com . You will be able to login again once you've changed your password. Welcome back guys! thanks for your incredible patience. Losing access to the domain felt like losing our first child, it was a rough last few days but we'll be getting things steady again and will be briefing you with the full story soon. If you experience any issues please contact live support. Verifying our SSL certificate: 8E:CA:D4:5A:48:0A:5C:F0:30:0B:40:29:E2:FB:2A:5C:D3:81:88:C6 SHA1 Back to working on PD5 ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimage.ibb.co%2FhUGwOS%2FPoster.png&t=663&c=S2SpgsjgVfnTYA) Are you guys going to take any legal action against the hacker? Even though not much was stolen, there was downtime which lead to profit loss. Pretty sure the profit loss was much greater than 1 BTC.

I can't claim from faucet. Why this happening? It's saying:: Error You are not allowed to get any faucet. My username:: Mahdirakib87
For a faster response, you can directly ask their support team on site itself instead of here. If they say you're not allowed to get any faucet means you might have reached the faucet claim limit on this account. Just guessing you may need to prove an active player. For that may need to deposit and play first before they activate your faucet. I have deposited there and also made withdraw and received my payment. I think I'm active player. I'm at level 2 now. I can't contact the support. There I also getting an error that...Error: You can't sent a message. So I asked here. Do you by any chance use a VPN? Sometimes with a VPN you might end up using the same IP address as another player and it ends up flagging your account as having multiple usernames?

Right now a gtx 1070($800) or a rx 580($450) will give you $1 per day per card, so basically if you buy a gtx 1070 now will be 800 days to roi and 450 days for the rx 580. Stay away from gpus.
It's not $1/day. It's a little under $2. The worst are the 1080 which were meant for Equihash which has dropped in profitability faster than Dagger hash.

These are great PSUs. Used them since 2013
However you can't do more than 4 GPU with them due to the fact that there are only 4 connectors.
Make sure to undervolt properly so you don't go over the 750watt limit.

All over Craigslist people are panic selling their 1070 and 1080 it seems.
Some are even below what the retailers are selling them for.
Basically a 450 day ROI is scary for most.

Kevin is not answering my emails...
This is most likely a scam. There is no easy way to do this because the problem is getting the money out of the country. This has been tried many times in the past.
