I can very quickly - through the back of my head - make a list with genuine people/accounts in here too.
As for the rest, they have an agenda & vested interests - apart from our common denominator BTC.
To be continued.

Cry more, you little bitch.

Bob he is a lovely guy.

~ dementia ~

Just so we’re clear, I don’t believe a single word you write.
I thought it was being old or whatever. It’s not.

You’re into bullshit highway. Constantly.
No, I don’t think you’re a Cuntonian. They are a Slavic group. You work for the “whales club”, remora that is. American made.

Such a lovely 40+ year old.

If, as a result of this, someone is completely misinformed to the point where they can no longer distinguish between reality and fantasy, is it still an act of malice?  Or should we feel sorry for these fractured minds?

This forum is certainly not good place for people with mental health issues and it is quite possible that by giving a platform to delusional individuals we're making the problem worse. I can't really see any upside to this for anyone, but if it's necessary for some unknown-to-me reason to allow this nonsense to continue, maybe those threads should be locked after a few responses. That way the troubled person still has an outlet, but there is less collateral garbage. It should be quite clear by now which topics will never result in any kind of intelligent discussion.

At the moment I am caring for a sick bro-in-law he has dementia .

He now has the memory span of 2-3 minutes for any new info.

He is basically fucked .  So the shotguns are not in his house he used to hunt a bit with his dad. He is 71 and has one thing wrong his brain.  At the moment there are about 11 million people with some dementia.

He can shoot accurately he can run and jump and do most anything except remember that he looked as his bank account 37 times today. He was not very violent but if he thought you were a lizard person or a hybrid trans due to a shot of rna he would likely shoot you with the 12 gauge in your left eye 👁 he like to shoot gsme in the left eye.

He is 71 and needs a lot of attention .  My point is there are a lot of bro-in-laws that will struggle with info presented as truth.

Most likely this is why the thread 🧵 got to me.

I just woke up with some morning wood 🪵 and I guess I picked it up 🆙 from BTC.        . @nohomo

By the way Well scheduled for Oct 1

The funny thing is I am babysitting my 71 year old demented bro-in-law. Talk about real world shit. So he is in NY abour 80 miles away from us in NJ.

Due to his illness he is a security risk so I don’t have any access to BTC I have been watching charts since monday. I am thinking the work for him may have saved me from a panic sale. Would be nice if we pull some nice jumps from now to sat since I cant do any sale of coin until sat nite.

Maybe the work for him helps my holding go 2x say 75-80k over the weekend.

Congratulations on the woodie..

Even though I would like to ask if you consider that you are only around 7 years different in age than your bro-in-law?

Are you going to deteriorate that fast too? or is the bloodline different on your wife's side?

Of course, there are also lifestyle considerations, too.

I understand that there can be a pretty big difference between 71 year olds, but sometimes the deterioration does end up happening fast too...and sometimes the deterioration is on the inside, so it is more difficult to see - even though a lot of times, signs of deterioration happen on the outside too.

Around 8 years ago, I recall a homeless man who was about in his late 30s show up at a business complex that I was then frequenting - because I had a business located within such complex, and he had a lot of nice shit in his shopping cart, and he was cooking quite well for himself on his portable burner. He also looked pretty  healthy and fit, too.  I saw him  around the same location for several months, and pretty soon the landlord got wind of his being set up there, and the police showed up several times, and even asked me for a statement against the guy, and I refused to give any statement.. I said I give few shits about the guy hanging out in the area of my business and seems to even potentially provide some protection to my business to have him around 24/7-ish.  Even the landlord's agent requested my cooperation saying that the police were having trouble getting the guy to move to another location, and they would need to start to employ stronger tactics, including the landlord's agent thought that it was funny that the guy referred to himself as "the king." hahahhahaha... Anyhow, the police harassed the guy for about a month or more, and the guy kept returning, and pretty soon they took all of his nice stuff.. and then I saw the guy in a very deteriorated state - and another homeless guy told me that some other guys (potentially homeless, as well) had attacked him and beat him up...so the guy soon looked more than 2x his age and even carried himself in a very decrepit way, especially after he had gotten beaten up... it was a kind of sad and quick deterioration...

I am not even sure if my homeless guy example is a good one because many of us likely realize that deterioration can happen very rapidly for anyone, and surely the older that they get - including above 40 years old, the body might not tolerate certain kinds of abuse or removal of nutrients very well.... of course, each decade.. 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, seems to have higher potential for lack of recovery if any kind of bad thing might happen, and could happen to any of us.. including us with decently sized BTC holdings.

Merited you once then tried to add another and it wouldn't let me.

The system will not let you merit a post twice in a row within a few minutes, but if you wait like 5 minutes or more (or until the next block propagates), then you will be able to merit the same post twice.

My family = prostate cancer  for men
breast cancer and or old age leukemia  for women.

oldest male 93 very healthy til 92
oldest female 99 very healthy til 98

my wife's family a lot of people die under 80 and many end up demented.

hopefully my wife is lucky and lives past 80 and does not get demented.

I can frankly tell you I have never cared for a demented person it is really fucking hard to do.  makes mining easy.

back to btc
kind of happy to see  we got over 48k being stuck in NY has prevented a panic sell so I am grateful.

8585  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 2021, time for a new general & diff speculation thread... on: October 01, 2021, 08:47:59 PM
When I didn't own one hash, remember how enthusiastic I was then, the hashrate will reach 300, 400 exa, who cared?!
I'm turning bearish and bullish keeping my bear form, prom panda to brown, there is a slight difference but there is one Grin

The pressure of being a miner is a lot harder to endure compared to just holding some bitcoin in a cold wallet, even for folks like me who don't care about the power rate, I always have to worry about hash boards dying, the farm catching fire or anything else that can go wrong at any given second.

Mining however is a lot more fun, and in days like this when bitcoin isn't making any price gains, mining outperforms holding, it's just how it always been.

With that said, I am more bearish than bullish regarding the mining industry as a whole, I believe the past couple of months were the best we will ever get, the average profitability of 2022 will be a lot less than 2021, I think we got to the top of the mountain and going forward will only be a decline in profitability.

jeese you fuzzy bear fans. 2022 will make 2021 look mediocre.

for every 1 you made in 2021 you will make 3 or 4 in 2022

8587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: All in the name of bear market is coming on: October 01, 2021, 05:40:37 PM
All in the name of 'bear market is coming' I refused to buy GPUs and I end up watching weeks and months pass me by while crypto mining keeps its sane part intact, isn't this the road to later regrets? It's clear to see that bear isn't coming till 2022 or am I wrong?
I believe that it is still very early for a bear market, but I do not know what will happen to cryptocurrency mining after the start of Ethereum POS mining.
Investing in mining by buying several video cards now may not be the best solution, you need to start preparing for a massive sale in 2022.
Even the massive sale in 2022 isn't guaranteed, crypto mass adoption is in motion and many more investors are getting into the game, this might be the longest bull season in crypto history since 2009, best advice is build mining rigs with money you aren't looking to spend or use in a year after
I was talking about the mass sale of video cards.
700 terahesh gives a huge number of video cards.
let's say if 350 terahesh are given by video cards, then this is more than 10 million video cards around the world.
Or do you know a new coin that can take so many graphics cards on board?

Who cares doesn't matter.

If you mine at 5gh that is 5000 x 6.5 cents = 325 a day usd if power is 3 cents you burn about 275 kwatts a day or 8-9 dollars a day

thus you are 325- say 15 = 310 a day profit. or 7 x 310 = 2100 a week.

Note I rounded down a bit. so if you dca you buy a card  ( a 3090 ) every 3 weeks and bank 4200 durning the same 3 weeks

in 30 weeks you grew to  10 more 3090's and 42000 cash. if at any time  a big crash happens and cards get cheap buy 2 not 1.

you run into this plan of dca to expand. It will rarely be perfect but it will never crush you with an overload.

This works for anyone with dirt cheap power. It does not work for a guy with 25 cent power. A big crash will hurt him.
8588  Other / Meta / Re: Are we now allowing obviously false information to be posted as truth? on: October 01, 2021, 05:22:58 PM
Well the problem is you are stating humans are not human.  Last I heard that is just about as close to the Hitler prequel to killing off

When you say "you", are you talking about me or BADecker?  I never said humans aren't humans, so I'm confused by that statement.

If you do not see that creating an obvious falsehood the allows for  the murder  of 3 billion people as a threat to public safety as the same as falsely shouting fire in a crowded movie theater it is sad.
I think you're making an enormous mountain out of a molehill.  I looked through that thread and nowhere does BADecker call for the killing of anyone.  What is this murder of 3 billion people you're talking about?

And to everyone else: I don't claim there shouldn't be limits on free speech, but the government controlling the dissemination of information based on whether they believe it's true or false is a very bad thing.  Science has made mistakes many, many times in the past, you know.  Science is changing all the time as new information is discovered, and people should be able to have all arguments laid out on the table in order to judge for themselves instead of having everything filtered through a governmental censor.

As to what bitcointalk does, that's less of a concern to me.

note the bold type question 'you' is being used to describe any and all humans that are dehumanizing other humans.

I have not seen you do that.

So if I was using  'you'  (humans that dehumanize other humans) in a way that confused you (the pharmacist) my apologies as that was not direct at you  Grin

This is why the internet can be a bitch as in no way do I say you did that or believe you do that. But when you look at type it could be confusing.
8589  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [4+ EH] Slush Pool (slushpool.com); Overt AsicBoost; World First Mining Pool on: October 01, 2021, 04:39:48 PM
I love a good kick to the hornet's nest as much as the next guy, so here goes a good shot.

If Slush Pool isn't the first pool, then show me where to point my miner to mine on the first pool...  If the "first" pool failed, is it the first pool?  If I say I'm going to be the first person to swim around the world, and then I die while being the first to swim around the world, am I the first to do it?  I was swimming around the world the same way the "first" pool was mining...  I believe in this context, Slush Pool is stating they are the first, because they are the first mining pool to survive the test of time.  Other pools may have attempted to be first, but they since failed and were shut down...

Perhaps they should state they are the first successful pool or the longest running pool?  Seems like this is taking cheap shots at slush's legacy to come and make this argument more than 10 years after this claim has been accepted by the community.

that logic is flawed - To apply it would mean that since the first person to have flown around the world died - they now no longer the first person to have done so.

The "first" pool simply means they were the first functioning pool. However long they lasted is irrelevant if they were the actual "first" pool.

Slush is not the "first" pool - they may be the "oldest" or the "longest running" but that does not make them "first"

BTC Guild was ahead of them and were force to close by New York Law

I'm going to report the post and see.

Let us know how that goes. I've reported some of BADecker's far more shitty posts without success so I'm not wasting my time on this. He seems to have solid immunity (no pun intended) here.
Don't you know that he (and B1tUnl0ck3r) are immune because they are one of the Inbred Reptilian Overlords that secretly rule over Humanity?  Wink

You got me to smile a bit thanks. Grin
8592  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spartacus Letter on: October 01, 2021, 02:27:31 PM
Talk about cherry picked data...
If my data are cherry picked, then where are all the data showing that vaccines don't work?

Most people who claim that COVID-19 is "just a flu" do not understand the disease even remotely and have made no effort to study the underlying pathophysiology. Hyperinflammatory COVID-19 that puts people in the ICU is basically sepsis. It has been shown that sepsis can be treated with antioxidants, like intravenous Vitamin C (see the MATH+ protocol for COVID-19, as well as papers regarding the repurposed drugs - fluvoxamine, budesonide, famotidine, and so on - and their antioxidant activity).
The MATH+ protocol is written by a scan organization, provides no data to support their recommendations, and is headed by individuals with vested interests in the fake treatments they recommend. Looking at the treatments they and you are suggesting:

Vitamin C:
There are no controlled trials that have definitively demonstrated a clinical benefit for vitamin C in critically ill patients with COVID-19, and the available observational data are inconclusive.

Fluvoxamine:
No evidence. Biggest ongoing trial to date (https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/study/NCT04668950) has just reported "No treatment effect" on early results.

Famotidine:
We found no evidence of a reduced risk of COVID-19 outcomes among hospitalized COVID-19 patients who used famotidine compared with those who did not or compared with PPI or hydroxychloroquine users.

Budesonide does have some evidence, but it is inferior to IV dexamethasone which we have been using for all our inpatients for months.

The links in your original letter consider these drugs in the context of rodent peptic ulcers, among other things. Hardly applicable to humans with COVID.

COVID-19 patients have blood that is chemically incapable of transporting oxygen due to a buildup of hypochlorous acid that is stripping iron out of their heme and competing for O2 binding sites. What this means is that they will suffer from "silent" hypoxia, where they appear to be breathing just fine, but are suddenly turning blue in the face as their red blood cells chemically refuse to carry O2.

This has been directly observed in COVID-19 patients.

Pumping O2 into the lungs does not make RBCs chemically incapable of carrying O2 somehow magically capable of carrying it. All it does is produce more ROS injury.
There's some truth in this, but not to degree you state. If there was enough hypochlorous acid to destroy hemoglobin to such a degree, why do we not see a severe hyperchloremic acidosis? Why do we not see buffer systems being completely overwhelmed? Why do we not see profound anemia due to hemoglobin destruction? Why does intubation and proning make the SpO2 go from 70% to 95%? Why does it make the PaO2 go from 60 mm Hg to 120 mm Hg?

Trying to claim that intubation and ventilation is actively killing people is just plain incorrect.

The majority of clinical trials of antivirals (any antivirals, not just Ivermectin) enroll people who have no virus left in their bodies.
OK, so show me the randomized control trials which show ivermectin is an effective prophylactic. There is currently no evidence for this either:
Owing to very low certainty of evidence, the effect of ivermectin, compared with standard care, in reducing the risk of suspected, probable, or laboratory confirmed infection remains very uncertain; the certainty of evidence was rated down because of serious risk of bias and very serious imprecision.

I'm happy consider any treatment provided there is some evidence it works. You have failed to provide that evidence.

Many of the concerns raised about the vaccine have been corroborated (in far greater detail) by Stephanie Seneff:

https://dpbh.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/dpbhnvgov/content/Boards/BOH/Meetings/2021/SENEFF~1.PDF
An article written by a computer scientist and a practitioner of "energy medicine", published in a fake journal which is not listed in PubMed, has no publisher, has literally zero impact factor, which is ran by a young Earth creationist and a lawyer who sues vaccine companies on behalf of "victims". And even then, they still state "there are no studies demonstrating definitively that this is happening". Roll Eyes

Come on. You seem smart enough to realize just how disingenuous and dishonest something like this is.

And the rest of your links go the same way as this one, and the same way as your original letter - off the deep end of conspiracy theories with absolutely no supporting evidence or facts.

My data given in the other thread shows the vaccine info about effectiveness was exaggerated and I do not know the final effectiveness but the the data I gave was based on Jan 1 2021 to April 30  based on the cdc

they claimed 10,000 breakthroughs in 100,000,00 fully vaccinated people durig the time period Jan 1 2021 to April 30

I completely explained how that is a mis use of statistical data and the proper way to show breakthrough  cases Would be to follow those same 100 million vaxxed people from April 30 to Aug 30 2021

not from Jan 1  to April 2021

The reason is the 100 mill  were about 1 million on Jan 1 sp you are using a false cout since the 100 million were not fully vaccinated on Jan 1 but on April 30.

Like it of not the numbers now seem to show lots of breakthrough cases not 10k out of 100m

So while I do not say spartacus is right or wrong  I do say the cdc lied and mis used number when giving the Jan 1 to Apr 30 report.

and recently the 15 infectious disease experts voted 15 to 0 to not give booster shots to those under 65 with no health issues yet were over ruled. Both suggest something is up.

I will go a bit further and say I believe it is the best bot ever made and will beat anything in existence.

but if it is true  then it would only be able to tie  the same version of itself so the op sells a few hundred thousand version of it and all players are back to square one.

It is as if we are all running a marathon and we all get self driving teslas set to the same settings essentially we all end up in the same spot.

At op if you have a truly great bot mass marketing of it simply dilutes it and makes it worthless.

You need under 5 buyers and to get big bucks for the 5 sales.

Not thousands and dilute it greatness.

If indeed it is truly great.

do you mean this guy B1tUnl0ck3r? I was gonna reply on one of his thread regarding killing a leader and its family if the people of a democratic country finds the leader incompetent of his position. but I realize that it was gonna be a waste of time. the dude is a lunatic and probably a danger to society.

Yes, that one. He often suggests killing some random politicians/celebrities and their families, which seems like an immensely idiotic thing to tolerate and a misguided application of "free speech". Even if no one cares about the actual fact of promoting violence, you'd think there would be at least some concern that if something happens to one of those people it might land this forum (and perhaps individuals like mods or admins) in hot water.

Yeah well what do I know I guess we are run by the FBI or CIA and they use 'free speech' honey pot to track the crazies.

Makes as much sense as anything else.

Okay so you listened to metroid he has been calling crash since Jan of 2021.

Dca for gear works.
slow buildup of gear works.
as long as you do not overextend when buying gear you should buy gear.
pretty simple method.

add a card a day
add a card a week
add a card a month
add a card a season
add a card a year or so

all are dca method of growing the farm.

when jan 2021 hit I had 2gh in eth
now that oct 2021 hit I am near 5gh in eth.

do I plan to grow more yes.

I am very lucky as I have tons and tons and tons of excess cheap power.

So I never need to rush the growth of the locations.

our youngest guy is 23
our oldest guy is 75

with six involved in this we cover

ages in the 20’s 40’s 50’s 60’s 70’s

so we have some looking to stop soon 🔜 and some looking to last for years.

think dca or dollar cost average.

add a card and wait to add another.
8596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What do you guys think about this complete rig setup? on: October 01, 2021, 01:04:28 PM
it is not worth 3k

lets say eth delays pos and you get to mine for at least a year.

150 mh earns about 10 dollars pre power or about 3650 usd.

but that rig burns a lot of power.

I would say it burns at least 700 watts that is about 17 kwatts a day.

if your power cost is 10 cents 1.70 a day more likely your power is 2-3 a day or 700-1000 a year

so if you are lucky 3650-700 = 2950 after a year

maybe 3650-1000= 2650 after a year.

that is a likely range you will be in. after a year. down 50 to 400 bucks with the rig in hand.

if all parts were new and had 1 to 3 year warranty it is decent. but it is a used rig. not so good.

You do not have the right to yell fire in a crowded movie theater.  as decided by the supreme court that is a crime not free speech.  If you think I am wrong go ahead and yell gun or fire in a crowd when there is no gun or fire and see if you can defend your choice of words as free speech.
I'm aware of that, and I'm also aware that free speech in the US isn't without restrictions, but lying isn't one of them unless it's to obstruct justice.  Lying on an internet forum or spreading false information on one is not the same thing as yelling "fire" in a crowded theater; that's a false equivalence.  Can you imagine if the government decided to ban statements that they deemed to be false?  They'd essentially be deciding what's true and what isn't, and that sounds a lot like an Orwellian nightmare.

How often do you see me complain about free speech violations? Not very many times maybe 1 or 2 other times. Or maybe  no other times in over 30000 posts
I don't see you complaining about it often, but what does that have to do with anything?  Obviously you feel strongly about either this issue or the member who made the statement.  Either way, I don't think a post should be deleted because it's misinformation.

Well the problem is you are stating humans are not human.  Last I heard that is just about as close to the Hitler prequel to killing off

Gays Gypsies and Jews claiming they were subhuman allow for the killing of them without it being a murder.

If you do not see that creating an obvious falsehood the allows for  the murder  of 3 billion people as a threat to public safety as the same as falsely shouting fire in a crowded movie theater it is sad.

As I said I do not attack free speech but blatant falsehoods that endanger public safety I attack. Your reply to me assumes it is not easily proven to be a blatant falsehood  that endangers public safety.

Okay 3 billion people world wide are no longer people .

damn if they are not human so if I kill them I don't commit murder is the next logical step.  So you are saying you are in favor of our forum fostering this under the umbrella of free speech.

I live in Howell NJ right next to Lakewood NJ there are 120,000 people in that town 100,000 are Ultra Orthodox Jews I have quite a few friends from there.  One of them told me he would allow Hitler to speak about killing all the Jews because it is free speech and that if Hilter was running for office here in America he should be able to say that as a campaign theme due to free speech.

Straight up truth he told me that.   I think when people go to those extremes to defend 'free' speech it is pretty much straight a scene from a bizzaro world.   I know it is talk and if someone ran as Hitler he would be against it.

I am pretty sure if every thread had a post that said  "the Pharmacist  and philipma1957  are dangerous aliens they must be found and dealt with"

You and I would not like it. As it would be a threat to the two of us and actually harder to prove it is a blatant lie then it is to prove bad decker's is a lie.

So I actually like a few of bad decker's older posts but as he has aged or as the world has gotten  bigly weird his posts are really out there.

I also think this type of posting could cause bitcointalk grief since it is a blatant falsehood present as truth.
It is inflammatory and justifies killing since vaxxed people are no longer human.
I don't think the forum has anything to worry about, and hopefully if any government agency started giving Theymos any grief about it, he'd tell them to fuck off.  We do still live in a country that allows free speech, you know.  Youtube might have caved in and started banning accounts that take an anti-vaccine stance, but they're in bed with everyone from their advertisers to the government.  Bitcointalk is not.

You might not like what BADecker posted, but that's the whole point of free speech (which Theymos believes in, if I'm not mistaken).  The only speech that needs to be protected from censorship is the type that people don't like.

I'd hope people analyse the P&S board as essentially a meme/parody by this point
I don't know why people even post there.  This is a bitcoin forum first and foremost, and there are other sites where discussion about politics is better by orders of magnitude than the P&S section.

You do not have the right to yell fire in a crowded movie theater.  as decided by the supreme court that is a crime not free speech.  If you think I am wrong go ahead and yell gun or fire in a crowd when there is no gun or fire and see if you can defend your choice of words as free speech.

I never said I was pro vaccine and or anti vaccine in the thread starter. BTW I have made prefectly provable statements showing the current cdc chief did something that shows political manipulation in favor of the booster shots.

that is true I can say it basically I am shouting fire in a crowded movie theater because there is a fire.

a legal example of free speech.

bad decker is shouting fire in a crowded movie theater when there is no fire. = Not protected by free speech.

How often do you see me complain about free speech violations? Not very many times maybe 1 or 2 other times. Or maybe  no other times in over 30000 posts
