8581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation became really fast, what has happened? on: July 03, 2017, 04:29:56 PM

Its confirmation really fast that's right. If you need money to cash it out the only thing you need is the internet. There are no transaction fees if you choose to cash it out in security bank. My girlfriend used security bank because there are no fees. You just enter your control number to get your money. It's easy to use this kind of remittance. But I'm not yet experienced that because here in my province don't have any security bank. I hope that will have security bank soon in my province.

I think you posted on the wrong thread my friend. Better clean this up.

Regarding the transaction. I think the fee was really high. I dont pay that much for a day transaction.   Grin
It doesnt go beyond 100k sats for that amount.
If it is really faster now it is good. Havent done a tx yet so i wouldnt know.
If the spams are out then it is another good news but there is no clarity if this will be for long term or you just got the priority.
8582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2017, 08:42:01 AM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

I think no bank accepts Bitcoin because its activities are anonymous and banks are always looking to make their money transparent. Hence they only accept indirectly as you use the exchange to send fiat to your bank. Besides, the price of Bitcoin is unstable which makes banks not willing to trade or hoard it, so they are not ready to accept Bitcoin.

That is one more good reason which is the truth to why they wont accept it.
I, as not a big holder aee having problems with the waves of bitcoin and what else could happen to those banks thinking if they accept it many might store it to them and that would be a big problem.
Insurance. Banks are holding this insurance which might be applied by a customer for his/her bitcoin be protected which gives them more risk.
Can they neglect an application for insurance? No. That would be a breach to their customer service which can make it worst.
8583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: July 03, 2017, 07:20:46 AM
my country is not supporting anything like drugs/bitches
bitcoin is accepted as well in my country so
In my country, bitcoin is also considered legal currency but because very few people know and care about it, it is still not recognized and used. I hope everyone will soon realize the benefits of bitcoin so that bitcoin can be used in my country.
Because there are not many people like bitcoin in your country, the government do not abandon it. I can ensure that once there are many people get into bitcoin, the government will promulgate some regulation and restriction to avoid people using this cryptos

That is true.
Be wary once it is being populated.
This might change the fact that it is a free currency. There will be making some rules which you wont expect and they will be enforced with speed.
Once a lot of money is at stake they will want to have a part of that too.
This aint new considering they have done it with other commodities.
8584  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: July 03, 2017, 04:22:56 AM
In the virtual world I guess it is, it has along way to go to be the strongest in the real world.
Bitcoin is not even the strongest on the internet, just look at the amount of money paypal moves and that is just paypal, how much money is just move in a bunch of screens and with the clicks of a mouse, you can move trillions of dollars that way.

Correct and it is not just Paypal. There is Skrill, Neteller and Visa powered credit cards which is the most used when it comes to onlinr shopping.
Still it is USD which is the powerful and most used because of its popularity.
Bitcoin usage and transaction is just a small part of all that transaction that is happening in the world of internet.
8585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outcome of Horn vs. Pacquiao on: July 03, 2017, 03:08:25 AM
One judge score tells it all.
It is way too far for Horn's score.
Pacquiao landed enough punches for him too win.
Seems like I was right that this fight is just all for money.
Of course they did it for a rematch. So it will be profit all over again. Damn greedy people.
Pacquiao won that match.
8586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 02, 2017, 03:45:32 PM
First of all, I don't have that many coins in my wallet. Right now, I have only a few mBTC. So my first plan is to earn as many coins as possible before the exchange rates rocket towards the stratosphere. Once the exchange rates reach $10,000 or $25,000 per coin, I will think about what to do with the coins. May be I'll buy a house here in my hometown. Here it is cheap... may cost around $25,000 for a small house.

Cool plan. But the problem is how long will it take.
If I am in your situation I might get bored by the fact that bitcoin cannot be predicted. It goes up and down.
I am not saying it will not happen but look at what is happening.
Just a little budge by people who create fake news and may holders are in panic.
I think the best way is to create profit now. Not waiting for that big wave.
8587  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold... Hold.... Hold.... Do not sell everything on: July 02, 2017, 01:47:31 PM
I think it's time to change the title of this thread to "Sell... Sell.... Sell.... Sell everything".

Ethereum is gonna hit $200 in a couple of a hours. We all had it coming.
You are a true loyalist of Ethereum and we get that.
But we also have our opinions and we have our own decision to what must be done.
Why? Because tou think ETH will grow more in price while bitcoin is falling down?
There is no facts for that. It is just a mere speculation and it already happened that all coins went down.
By pulling down bitcoin with mere comments like this wont take ETH up.
You are just making it worst.
8588  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins and Bankers on: July 02, 2017, 09:15:18 AM
Recently, the banking system works very well with the crypto currency. I have already convinced my country that crypto-currencies will soon be implemented at the state level and the user will not worry about the legal aspects of this issue.

They do work well together and bring benefits not only to us users and those who hate banks but also to the banks themselves.

Those who hate the banks. There are a lot of people who see banks as just a greedy service for the government not for the people.
But still there are those who are being fooled by the things they say which are so good to be true.
Hate banks they are all just profiting for their own using the people money.

Better invest on your own and bitcoin is offering that now. You could also pick gold but the government might also interfere if you got tons of it. Not wih bitcoin though.
8589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep your fiat at hand in order to buy new bitcoin on: July 02, 2017, 06:56:11 AM
Yes but here is the problem... When it goes below 2000 $ I want to be ready to buy it. The problem is I don't trust an exchange platform to keep my fiat currency...

Well you dont have a choice but to buy it already if you are doubting one exchange. And since you have a problem with your SEPA.
Waiting for it to go back below $2000 will take a lot of time and what if it goes up?
You better decide already and buy that bitcoin at the right time.
Who knows? What if now is the right time?
8590  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 02, 2017, 04:44:41 AM
I'm using coinbase. the popular Coinbase that can be used on Android or iPhone aside from a web browser.
Store most digital assets in secure offline storage. The digital money stored on the Coinbase server is covered by an insurance policy. Full control over the secret key. Send and receive digital currencies that are instantly redeemed into local currency.

Okay I do use coinbase but I dont store much there.
Just looking at how much the transaction fees are makes me puke.
It is okay if the tx is fast but it also takes a day before it is confirmed.
Better just use offline storage and keep it all there.
Electrum got a nice application now for android users and it is user friendly. Most importantly there is privacy.
Your log in details are your seeds only. No need e-mail accounts or whatever for registration.
8591  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold... Hold.... Hold.... Do not sell everything on: July 01, 2017, 06:36:19 PM
meh, the panic sellers never listen and the higher we go it seems like it becomes easier to shake them out and take a big profit.

and times like this is the perfect time for people with my strategy.
what i do is buying bitcoin each month or couple of weeks or so whenever i have money. and at times like this where there is a big rise i wait till the panic sellers panic and buy all their coins cheap Cheesy

Agree with BrewMaster.
Just a little profit and they go all out sell.
Just a big sigh after that.
We keep on encouraging them. Telling them it is supposed to be higher than that if we gold together. But it is also an endless talk to which they just ignore what we tell.
I think of it as a selfish act. But what else could we do abiut that but just let it be. We cant force it to them.
8592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: July 01, 2017, 04:07:24 PM
I'm planning to buy bitcoin as I see the price is not that high but in future, it can give me great returns. But I hesitate a is it safe or bubble?

Better have more faith in it by reading more about it.
If you aint sure you might regret it after. Besides, bitcoin is so expensive now, you cant just throw your money with something you are not sure of.
That is how we think and that ain't bad. You just have to straighten up to what you really want.
I am sure if it aint this expensive you might have been buying now.
8593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin cannot drop in price on: July 01, 2017, 10:35:45 AM
as a newbie and new to this i think because people or community is backing up bitcoin.

Yeah! That is also the reason for me.
Teamwork! Aint it good?
With the help of each other it remains on the top and can be seen thru its value.
It is an invetment where we are all working to get more investors because it will also make us some money when the price of it grew.
Why other people dont think like that? It seems they are making other reasons and cannot take the truth.
8594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: July 01, 2017, 07:20:32 AM
From my point of view, trading can bring more profit than gambling, you can't be assured of earning money from gambling, because, gambling is not profit making mechanism rather than it's a paid entertainment. There is a equal chance of being loser of gainer. So it shouldn't be considered as a constant platform to make money. But trading is a good platform of earning money instantly.
I agree that gambling is a paid entertainment most of the time, but some people look for gambling because they wanted to earn huge money but way too impossible. Trading for me is really good because we can learn first before we need to start trading so that it will be less of losing money.

In trading we were the one who will decide what alt to trade too if its a right time or not, it is just a long process and needs to watch out the alts price, while in gambling it is instant we can win huge if it's meant for us or vise versa, chance in earning in trading is high while in gambling we can be sure that we will really get entertained and trilled at the same time.

Entertainment. That is the main reason others are gambling or mayne to kill some time.
While in trading patience is needed.  Not all altcoins just bloom in price in a day or two.
It takes time. It takes support for it to grow. That is why they are paying for advertisement. The goal is to increase the value or the coin for popularity. If many will support it then profits will be easier. Unlike gambling you are all by yourself.
8595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: July 01, 2017, 05:54:27 AM
For exemple, I go to a coffee shop, I buy a coffee, then I pay with Bitcoin, we have to wait for a confirmation, no? or the merchant will just trust me if I show my wallet?
How can we be sure that it's not a double spent transaction or something else?

They wont need that if they really know bitcoin.
It is not like Paypal that you could take it back. Once a transaction is in process it is good to go.
If only I got that business I would offer a bitcoin payment.
And as long you paid the right price it is good to go.
I dont even need your information because nothing bad would happen.
8596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao VS Horn (Boxing) on: June 30, 2017, 11:55:29 AM
Definitely Pacquiao.
He is really a good boxer even with his age and this might be a game to just advertise promotions.
So they wont let this scar the record of Manny.
But still if the odds are low I will bet for him just for fun.  Grin
I dont have friends who wants to bet against me. All are PacMan's fans.  Grin
8597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: June 30, 2017, 05:14:43 AM
No. This is a hard task to do.
Multiple exchanges have different prices with bitcoin so when you do trades with them it could get nasty taking a big lost at the end.
It will be much better to just stick to one who got a lower buy price and a higher sell rating.
When you found an exchange like this better stay with it.
I have tried to calculate the lost when I exchange to one wallet to another and it is larger than what I expected to earn.
Remember there are huge fees now.
8598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I made 1 BTC in one night from a gambling website on: June 29, 2017, 06:04:28 PM
Wow that was awesome.
But that was way back bitcoin was still cheap right?
They would really gamble like 1 bitcoin per roll.
Now that it is expensive it is also getting harder to find gamblers who would easily click your signature.
Plus, the competition now is bloated. There are a lot of gambling sites opening up.
Although this boosts the people who are really advertising their supported gambling site.

Hi gamblers. Please click my signature link.  Wink

8600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: June 29, 2017, 01:56:21 PM
I've just been simply ASTOUNDED at Bitcoin's meteoric rise, and I am nothing but totally optimistic about it's Future, Potential, as well as the potential in many other Crypto-coins & currencies for 2017 & beyond!  Enjoy the Ride!

Correct. It is not just bitcoin now that is rampaging towards the crypto world.
Altcoins are making moves into how they can offer services in which cannot be seen with bitcoin technology.
Although I will say bitcoin is still the best, this alts are making a lot of change that makes transactions easier when it is going harder with bitcoin. i.e. (tx fees, and slow tx which takes days)
This is a good year for both.
