8581  Economy / Services / Re: Buying your Website Profile link and title (Senior, Hero or Legend) on: December 09, 2017, 10:50:00 AM
-snip-

What exactly are you hoping to get from a bunch of members in the forum?

Are you trying to "buy" their accounts or Hire them from some service? Anyway you should specify the type of service that you are looking for here otherwise no one will care to look into it.

Also why people need to PM you? Why not keep everything crystal clear in this thread itself?
8582  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated Mk III] - Known alts of anyone Mk III on: December 09, 2017, 10:42:57 AM
One of the inherant problems with listing the sheer volume of Alts found is the tables become very bloated, so, to that end I would like to try a different approach.
How about listing everything in a google spreadsheet page (like the way campaign managers do)? You can have everything well organized in it.

Update:
The problem is,who would have access to edit the spreed-sheet ? Everybody or a few selected users ?
Few trustworthy users, would be more than enough + maintaining a google spreadsheet is much easier than how initially it was being listed (IMO).

I would second this idea.
Whenever an alt spammer or shitposter alt account is discovered the person who investigates on this can post their proofs here in this thread in the proper format as given in the OP. Again there can be a google form for this too which can be prepared by TimeLord or Lauda or someone else. That form may be modified in future if needed. Then the DT members can add this to the spreadsheet and keep it updated on any other future information.

A spreadsheet will keep the thread spam to a minimum. Anyone who needs a review may post a new thread here like "Wrong accusation of accounts being linked" and post proper proof in their defense. I know this idea may seem a bit off (so to speak) because then what will happen is that every other accused person will claim that the account belongs to their sister,brother,half-sister,half-brother and so on. But legitimate claims can be reviewed upon.
8583  Economy / Services / Re: Senior/Hero/legend member required on: December 08, 2017, 07:19:35 PM
Hello everyone,

We are looking for Senior/Hero/Legend members to make ICO, bounty and airdrop posts.
This will also include the management of the Bounty program. We are looking to build a long-term working relationship with you. Cool

PM me if you are interested. Grin

You might want to hire ALU services for this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2477796.msg25362449#msg25362449

ALU stands for team of aTriz, Lauda and Untold who are experts in bounty and signature campaign management, escrow services and designing services.
They have a good track record and their portfolio speaks better of this than anything else.

Also dont hire any newbie wannabe managers for bounty. You dont want a third world shitposter to enroll the legion of shitposters into bounty do you? Cool
8584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: end of the year trading strategy & predictions? on: December 08, 2017, 09:19:50 AM
What are your predictions for bitcoin value by the end of the year?
20k$?
What would be your trading strategy?
I don't expect detail explanation but just some tips on what changes have to be made.

I think bitcoin will cross 20k USD soon and will not stop at that mark but rather go beyond it as well. I guess during Christmas people tend to stockpile bitcoin for the next year to come and hence we see all the pumps around this time of the year.

This is good time to sell some and cut your losses too in case you are desperate to make some cash from the bull run. In other cases you might want to keep on hodling the btc. For that reason that in future price may go by leaps and bounds.

If you already have a good stockpile of btc then consider holding that and adding more altcoins because they seem to fluctuating a lot currently.
8585  Economy / Services / Re: I'm looking for a campaign a giveaway manager. on: December 05, 2017, 08:05:46 PM

TAG him please.

I Tag you too loser.
your account is dead now.

Do you even know how the trust system works you dumbass? You even left fake negative trust on my account that does not change a thing. If a neutral trust member leaves a negative rating on another neutral trust member then they sender will see that negative rating on that person's account but it will not affect those who dont have the sender on their default trust list.

Receiving negative trust rating from a DT1 or DT2 members is a mark of shame.

Clearly you dont understand these things because you are scumbag shithole who is using fake sites to scam people into buying fake accounts. I have seen you and your shills have left negative trust on me and I have returned some nice feedback to all your shills as well with proper proof.

Have fun you piece of shit.
8587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need Advise on buying bitcoins on: December 04, 2017, 10:28:23 AM
I buy and sell bitcoins at localbitcoins, i think this is the easiest way to buy/sell them quickly. Sometimes i just want to withdraw some cash to my bank account, and i sell my bitcoins in there, and a plus of 2% - 3% that most sellers offers, and 10 minutes after i pay, i receive the money on my bank account. It is too easy to use, and there is no way you could be scammed.

I would not suggest localbitcoins to anyone to be honest. I think there are just too many scammers there and sold accounts ready to pounce on newbies. On the other hand centralized exchanges are much better and safe than using LBC. There are so many reputed exchanges in the crypto world where you can buy bitcoins which Fiat be it USD or EUR.

Now the forum marketplace maybe a good place as well but be sure to use an ecsrow for that.
8588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Lucky moments during gambling? on: December 04, 2017, 10:24:11 AM
I have had many winning streaks and because i am into sports betting and we don'r win or loose much per game  so my wins are not mostly one that you will even celebrate or cherish that much to note the day down but i can say there's been a lot of wonderful moments  for me.

I believe sports is exciting and sports betting is better than dice. As we know sports betting is an EV+ game and the gambler can get an edge over the bookie by their skills and if they have knowledge about the game. On the other hand the games which are EV- like dice depends on the players luck and nothing else.

Again the downside is that in sports many matches are fixed and in poker there are player colluding among themselves. So I guess being lucky is the only thing that matters in these scenarios.
8589  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should worry this is a bubble on: December 04, 2017, 10:20:46 AM
Let's be honest, there is still a lot of unknown in Bitcoin as it's the first cryptocurrency that spread that much.
Lets be honest and read the whitepaper about bitcoin written by satoshi first and understand that properly before making any comments. As we say incomplete knowledge is a dangerous thing. The code is in github and can be evaluated by anyone for checking the blockchain and how it works.

Quote
This unknown part is risky as well, since nobody knows for sure if it won't crash one day or somebody will find a way to trick the system.
Actually speaking even if a crash occurs does that matter? I see shillposts like this everyday and more shills in real life who think bitcoin is a covered up ponzi and I keep thinking one thing - do these people even understand how blockchain works?
Quote
So not surprised that some people think it's a bubble, but from another side it can be the beginning of something huge and never seen before.
If people accept bitcoin and blockchain technology it will be the new version of banks and finance.
8590  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need help please on: December 04, 2017, 10:13:25 AM
Hello I am Heavenly,
I am having a extremely hard time getting BITCOINS for the website I advertise on I have a PayPal account but the last company I was getting them through tried to rip me off if there is anyone who can help me I would be very appreciated thanks

What exactly are you trying to advertise and what is this site you talk about? If you dont provide us with that info people will not be able to help you.
I believe that you are trying to use bitcoins to "pay" for advertisements on a website. Now all services dont accept bitcoins so you should check if they do first. Otherwise if they do accept then they should be able to help you out.

A note on paypal  - paypal transactions are reversible for a period of time and have chargeback issues. So be careful about paypal deals specially relating to bitcoin, paypal has an anti-bitcoin stance.
8591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH withdrawal to BTC adress on: December 04, 2017, 10:10:11 AM
I accidentally made a BCH withdrawal to my BTC adress instead of sending it to my BCH adress. So i won't surprise you i didn't receive it yet.
Well several newbies recently have been making this mistake and sending BCH to a BTC wallet. Your coins will be lost forever if you do so. Since both of them are different currencies and they are not same you cannot "mix" the two.

Quote
Is there anything i can do about this? I read something about using a privatekey on your BTC adress to claim your BCH? Is this possible and how can i realise this?

I made the withdrawal from wex.nz to my bitpay account. The support team of wex sent me an email with the link of the transaction on blockchair. I also send an email to bitpay for support however i didn't receive a respons from them yet.
You should contact support on wex.nz and bitpay explaining your situations to both. It depends on the website to take care of the issue. You cannot do anything about it. Let this be the first and the last lesson for you. Never send BCH to BTC wallet or vice versa, Never send OMNI tokens to Ethereum wallet and so on.

8592  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Muslim scammer Found Zaizoun [ Scam 0.6 BTC ] Sting Operation on: December 03, 2017, 11:51:03 AM
This thread really made me laugh.
ProspectorsPR is a scammer, a known scammer who uses these fake EDO tokens to scam people. He even admits to this.

What he actually did was that he tries to scam another person using these fake tokens but that person was vigilant enough to recognize that this was a scam and starts abusing him. To this OP flipped like anything and now starts a fake scam accusation against his "customer". He even has the guts to make a provocative title to this thread "sting operation"

On top of that he has the guts to abuse another person's religion and goes around making stories about him.

ProspectorsPR you really need a break dude. Just chill out. I am sure you will be back within a week with another account.
8593  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading vs holding on: December 03, 2017, 11:46:29 AM
HODL for BTC ETH and other prospects...

First of all you should learn that posting a one-liner like that will not lead your posts to be constructive at all.
Second One does not just hold coins. Bitcoins may be good idea to hold for long term. But most altcoins are volatile and are good to sell and buyback when dumps happen. That way you can recycle your money to get more money in return.

Trading if you want money quicker, but more riskier, hodl for long term and lower risk returns.
Totally wrong concept. Trading does not mean you will make money quickly. It depends on your trading methods and what you are trading on that how much profits you will make and in how much time.
8594  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: December 03, 2017, 11:38:57 AM
I;m interested, since bitcoin isn't that much widespread yet, how are businesses (that are directed towards bitcoin only) doing? Is it paying off or is there some serious profit involved?

Bitcoin is digital currency and there is no difference from running a business on fiat or crypto. Basic things of business are all the same just that there will be added issues what pop up with bitcoin. There are many casinos, exchanges, mixers, shops and stores which have crypto as a method of transaction. However if you ask me then its still in the stage of development and its not that popular yet.

People mostly take crypto as an investment and dont like to use it for transaction. Specially since recently the mining fees has increased and people have to pay large mining fees as well.
8595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin More Important Than Ethereum ? on: December 03, 2017, 11:33:01 AM
Just because Bitcoin is more valuable than Ethereum doesn't mean we should underestimate the power of blockchain technology that has a lot to offer.. Just like bitcoin the value of Ethereum increases and tbh Ether increases steadily and bitcoin just seems too good to be true. heh

What do you think you are talking about? Ethereum is a good altcoin but it is nowhere near the price of bitcoin. However price is not the only thing. Ethereum has a good chance to become one of the biggest crypto in the world. It is different from bitcoin and that is what makes it special. That idea behind every crypto is what makes them unique and and that drives the people to believe in the new altcoin.

It is not comparable to bitcoin because essentially both are different.

Is Bitcoin More Important Than Ethereum?

Obviously, Yes! Bitcoin is the main Cryptocurrency that is traded to any different altcoin! No further questions asked.
Do you know that ether can also be used as a base currency to trade on? Most exchanges allow BTC ETH and USD to be the reference currencies. I think you should do more research on trading before you comment.
8596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will you still buy at 10k on: December 03, 2017, 11:29:28 AM
bought bitcoin in 2015 didnt believe in it. missed the train. bought again around 2-3k but diversified it to altcoins.
Well looks like you missed a good opportunity to make some cash while the bitcoin price reached 11k. I think you have done what most "resaonable" traders would do. Holding the btc is good but its important that you grab the opportunity of entering into potentially good altcoins which I am sure you would have done with the bitcoin.

Quote
will you still buy in this current price? or do you believe a correction is near?
I wont buy anymore at this price. However the dump may happen soon. It has happened once but it may happen soon again and that is why I suggest you to wait for a dump making a target of anything less than 9.5k USD as a buy order.

Of course I won't buy it now. It's better to buy ethers now. They cost less, but also grow. Moreover, they grow not that fast, so it doesn't seem to be a bubble soon. Lastly, there is Vitalik Buterin that basically is responsible for Etherium. If it will fall, he's gonna be blamed. Bitcoin doesn't have a person behind it.
There is no guarantee that ethereum will be as profitable as bitcoin in future. Also blaming someone makes the person look bad in from of the plaintiff but it does not solve any problem.
8597  Economy / Services / Re: [BOUNTY] ICO Kryll is looking for a BitcoinTalk Bounty Manager on: December 03, 2017, 10:32:59 AM
I would suggest you to consider taking ALU services for your ICO needs.
In case you dont know the team has aTriz, Lauda and Untold who will be managing viz the bounty campaign/signature campaign, the escrow, the designing for the project. They are well known and respected in the forum.

They are experts in their field and every new ICO needs a good team like them. Its always better to consider the veteran managers than to take a newbie who is trying to be a wannabe manager.

8598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Ahh...need to try to retrieve unspent bitcoins on: December 03, 2017, 08:19:05 AM
I screwed up and am looking for advice.
I have a BLOCK CHAIN wallet which I used to send to Kracken BUT...I chose to deposit to a BTCash account not Bitcoin! ( so dumb)
AHH...now it is sitting as unspent.
Let this be a lesson for you. Never send bitcoin cash to a bitcoin wallet and vice versa. Similarly never send a wrong ether token to a omni wallet. They will lost forever and there will be (in most cases) nothing you will be able to do about it. They are simply lost.

Quote
I have emailed Kracken and Block chain. nothing yet. I started reading blogs but some of the technical language is over my head...private keys etc..
Any one able to give me advice on how to proceed. I am sweating bullets and feeling sick to my stomach.
Importing the private keys can sometimes work. But here you do not have control over private keys. The BTC has been sent to a BCH wallet controlled by Kraken. Since they control the private keys, only they can help you.

Dont make this mistake again of sending a specific currency to a wrong wallet.
whats the problem about sending bitcoin cash to bitcoin wallet vice versa?sorry
I'm kinda noob about this message, when will be the coins go?will you please enlighten
me about this one,and for the sake of many user so they will be more carefull on this
matter

Thank you in advance !!!

If you want to send bitcoin cash then send it to a bitcoin cash wallet ONLY! Do not send it to a Bitcoin wallet. Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash are two different coins and not the same thing. Same thing with Bitcoin Gold as well. If you send the wrong currency to a wallet that is not of that currency then the coins will be lost. If you send OMNI tokens to an ethereum wallet then they will be lost. The wallet will not recognize the coin you sent.

There may be ways to recover them but its always better to be safe than try to fix it. Like they say prevention is better than cure.

It looks like our good friendly account seller aka Adam_T has opened yet another account:

archiving it here - http://archive.is/71FX1

account is : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1365379

The description of the threads are exactly same.
Lauda I think you should do what you do best here as well.
These guys don't care if they got neg rating, chaoscauser claims that his website has sold over 50 accounts and there is a lot more accounts still left to be sold. Something must be done to these trolls like banning their IPs but I don't think that it's possible in SMF(or is it? Correct me if I'm wrong?) . So the opportunity cost is just that DT members to be on a continuous patrol and neg all the people who are up doing all sort of shady stuffs in this forum. Poor Lauda and DT members  Cry

Yet another account by the same guy
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2504135.0

Lauda red tag him ASAP. This guy has the balls to put up such a username as well!!
