Sounds fishy af.
By the way, if your main concern is to find different coins and invest in them hoping you will get x10(100,1000,etc) profit, it will work of course, it may work several times, but be aware, one day you will lose all. This is gambling, I hope you guys understand this.

If you're just contemplating on starting to GPU mine, do not, I repeat do not start! It's like a disease has taken over me! I find myself constantly reading more and more, every spare minute - not just that - I can't stop buying GPUs and parts!!!!! The worst part is, I keep buying GPU's and I don't even have any power to run them, I'm pretty much maxed out till I can get a panel upgrade! I'm already probably drawing too much, 100A main and I'm using 3 rooms 20A each room... Help me!!!!!!! RX 470's just sitting there doing nothing, 1070's and 1 baby 1060 that will probably never see a motherboard again, all abandoned like little orphans! Lol, after I got my first(all available at that moment) 6 x RX 570 up and running, can't stop buying used gpus, new one's are like unicorns today.

I know about the 4XX problem, but what should I prefer? 570 or 580? Is a Sapphire RX580 Pulse 4GB much better than a Pulse RX570 4GB? (RX570 is ~30USD cheaper)
Man, get whatever you can, within the next few weeks I doubt you will find anyway. I have Strix RX 570, from what I have seen, best are MSI RX 570, Sapphire RX 570 and Strix somewhere at the same rang. Do your own research, plenty of info available to be honest.

Hello guys, I am thinking about another Rig for Ethermining (probably also equihash later) looking for the best hardware for this. Since 4XX GPUs are hard to get I am searching for information on 5XX GPUs. I had Sapphire Nitro RX480 4GB GPUs which were working quite well with a modified BIOS. Is there something similar for the 5XX GPUs? Should I use 570 or 580 GPUs (what is the difference in performance)? I would appreciate any help about this.
Hello, if you can get RX 570, RX 580 for a decent price, grab them, they are hard to find at the moment. Best at this moment for ethereum mining, RX 470, RX 480 are no longer producing.

Hello I would like to know your opinion on the rig a 7gpu, I have to mount a rig with motherboard msi z170 pro carbon + 7 rx 480 nitro + I get 210mh with eth only. But in dual mining I find my rig not very stable, a lot of bsod and driver loss. You have the same problem? Would you advise for more stability? Hi, i had a similar problem with dual mining, try going your core clock a bit lower when overclocking, this worked for me. I mine with STRIX RX 570 x6.

So if you have a mobo with 7 pci you can have 21 gpus at the same time with enough power supplies attached? No, if you have 1x 16x PCI-Express means (I think) you can connect in it 16 devices. Now plug in that 16x PCI-E one Switch PCI-E Multiplier, in that multiplier, you put another 3, resulting 9. I am not sure this will work, as the multipliers may or may be not suitable for such things. On the 1x PCI-E you can put only one videocard, the switch won't help, place the switches in 16x PCI-E, that's what I did.

When building my rig, I searched for Strix RX470 but when I waned to buy, they just vanished from most of the stores, like poof, so I put my hand on six Strix RX570. Got it up and running. If you need anything, just ask, where I can I will help.

Congrats on the rig I have one motherboard that I can only run 4 gpus and was thinking of getting a 1x to 3 1x adapter from amazon is this was you got and did you have any trouble installing it or was automatically detected by win
No it got automatically detected by windows, though one riser is not working, good thing I got +1. So I recommend you to get +1 each item, they aren't 100% working, my example proves this.

Hi @HardFireMiner, I´m not quite sure, what you want to tell us (no information from your side) You get Mining ethereum at 175-180 MH/s - cheers ! Can you supply any helpful information for other noobs, which might help them ? I am a beginner myself so all I am doing is testing, don't know if I am sufficiently informed to provide advises. All I know is from here and other sites. To be honest, it's not rocket science. OC the core clock at 1430 Mhz and memory clock at 2030 Mhz. Also, was thinking on mining some of the top 10 gpu minable coins, maybe after some time they will get pumped, who knows.

i suggest to dual mine if you have amd, with sia or pascalite, not pascal original, they give you a higher profit, than simple mining with etheruem, take a look at clymore dual mining ETH thread
Thank you for you advice! I will definitely try it out today and will post some feedback after testing it for a while.

Sorry mate, not sure i want to post pictures yet, not ready i guess . 6 ASUS ROG RX570 Strix 4GB, Bios OC, manually, took me several hours before I got them stable to 30.7 MH/s hash rate at miningpoolhub. At stock hashrate was at 22.2 mh/s Almost 10 hours spent on the web searching for a solution - 5 gpus identified normal, the sixth one with exclamation sign at driver in device manager. Cheap biostar mobo with only 3 pci-e ports (I thought the pci slots on mobo were pci-e, shame on me ) (1 pci-e x16, 2 pci-e x1). So got 2 pci-e 1x 3x x16 adaptors from amazon and 7 risers. FM2 Socket, cheap amd cpu, dual core 3000 mhz , 4gb ram ddr3. EVGA power supply 1000W modular for all gpus and Deep Cool, 500W for mobo, coolers, cpu etc. Homemade rack out of scrap(not really, bought cheap metal parts) and got it assembled.

Good day fellow miners, I've been with you for a while, reading your thoughts, some of them were even useful! Thank you for your contribution in getting crypto explained and understood. I started mining now after waiting for 2 weeks for my risers. Mining ethereum at 175-180 MH/s. Any advises for a beginner miner?
