861  Economy / Economics / Re: what should consider before investing in a coin? on: January 22, 2019, 10:42:23 AM
For me i should consider the popularity of the coin and the structure. How many years since it created. And the last one is the history of the value in our market.

oh good for you but for me i dont usually look on the popularity or on the history of the coins because i only invest on the newer  ones and  most especially on ico's that i find promising because i think they can give much return compared to standard cryptos  .  i dont really care if its a pump and dump scheme but atleast i can earn something big for a quicker time  .
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware Bitcoins Email Hack is going viral. on: January 22, 2019, 07:47:50 AM
This is very serious. Hope these scammers are not some projects who did airdrop/bounty to collect people details? People shouldn't just be scared by sending out cash in a hurry. Some persons just don't discuss matters of life with good friends to seeing how to analyze the issues. Thanks for this.
I believe some of them are. there were some reported incidents. Thats why we have forums like this one to inform of possible scams and alert people to not send any information out.

agree most of them are related to bounties and airdrops . i did recieve alot of emails lately from an ico company but i already quit joining an ico long time ago .  maybe someone is collecting our personal infos like email address  and then they sell it online for quick bucks ?

in the case of bitcoin email scam , i dont experience to recieve them but its too obvious to tell if they are legit or not  .  if they are requesting donations and alike then theres a high chance that they are scam  .
863  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance CEO saying don't keep coins on exchanges on: January 22, 2019, 06:21:40 AM
It's good advice but personally, since alts drop so much, I don't care really.
I just keep it on exchanges, hoping to see price rise again.
If nothing happen, I will simple forget it.
Of course, Bitcoin is safe at the wallet Smiley
What if those alts will pump and the exchange where you put your alts get hacked? I'm sure you'll regret your decision.
I really think I should valued everything I hold, I know altcoins have significantly drop but there is a chance that it will rise because I believe
on their potential to the market, it's just the time is not good for now, but over time it will recover and we will enjoy its real value.

yeah you were right dude . all alts ( even the shittest one )  do always have the potential to skyrocket . thats why we must value them just like on how you value your bitcoins  . @daniel91  if you still didnt care about your alts  ,  maybe i can have it  ? ill keep them better  Wink

the ceo of binance is also correct . we must not store our coins on an online exchange because hackers will firstly target them due to the numerous amounts of cash that they can potentially get  . not only on online exchange but also on all online wallets  as well  , better if we store our cryptos in an offline storage or leave only limited amounts that you can spend online ( if ever hardware wallets isnt available )

866  Other / Off-topic / Re: A KYC database sold on the Darkweb ? on: January 21, 2019, 06:51:48 AM
This is why I don't do KYC at all on any exchange. Even if it asks for my First and Last name I don't do it.
To the people saying they will only do KYC with trusted exchanges now, just look at the article.

Bittrex, Poloniex, BitFinex, are all widely used by people and all users had to do KYC to even trade on the exchange.
Even Poloniex removed legacy accounts ( I have one ) but it has a 0$ limit now due to KYC.
Like @repear7 said, even though it is used for a good cause, there is always a big downside with it being your protecion of privacy.

same here i dont also do kyc , not because im afraid that i can potentially hack but because i dont have a passport and im also too lazy to do these kind of stuffs even if i have the requird i.d so i wont do it at all  . many generic exchanges out there that offers the same service but they dont ask for the kyc or other o.a verifications  .

Re: A KYC database sold on the Darkweb ?
kyc's  arent only sold on the darkweeb but it has been also sold all aroound the web .  there are also sites that offers kyc for you  .
867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you lose your confidence as an investor? on: January 18, 2019, 06:35:31 AM
You should take a break for holding as it’s not good to sell

you mean sell ? but you also said its not good to sell  . your words are pretty confusing mate  .

Re: Did you lose your confidence as an investor?

yes . as an investor we must know the risk before we enter any investment . thats why its normal to loose some confidence when you see that your assets are going too crucial  .   im not going to quit though because i know that the down time wont stay forever    .
868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be A Good Trader? [new] on: January 17, 2019, 08:19:33 AM

Many newbies trader loss much money in crypto trading because does not have any risk management,

its normal for a newbie to experience loosing because he isnt skillful and knowledgeable yet but as soon as he grasp the basics , im sure he can be able to minimize his losses   .  risking is also part of the game and  its normal for us to loose because we enter the risk   .  you wont improve if you will only stick on your comfort zones  .

@op , being a good trader is a tough task because in this kind of market all are not guarantee to work due to many factors that can possibly conflict with our strategy  .
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2019, 03:14:43 AM
of course you understood it just now? in the beginning of 2018 it was clear that everything was going to hell
and at the beginning of this year still in question mark, because there is no sign of recovery from Bitcoin prices but It is not time yet for said Bitcoin will soon end. the chance for Bitcoin to grow again will definitely happen but we won't know when it's time.

Who said bitcoin dead or say bad about bitcoin maybe who bought at peak, we can see if investor join at range $100-$200 wouldn't said that because they might be already take profit. So, something like this topic wouldn't really affect on community.

in some cases there are also people that create simillar threads because they are being paid by some organization or company that hates bitcoin . they want to take bitcoin down because they think bitcoin is a huge threat to their own payment system  or  maybe they just investing on other cryptos  .  bitcoin might be game over for now but this cant take too long ,  bitcoin can still respawn  .  it just need to take a rest sometimes .
870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are any of you paid your salary in crypto? What's it like? on: January 16, 2019, 09:59:17 AM
Our company does this. Most of my co workers exchange theirs immediately while some who has more budget hodl them

Wow really ? What was the name of the company and which country you are residing ?  thats awesome if others will follow it because i do also want to get paid a crypto whenever i work outside  .   its cool because thats only an indication that our world is now evolving into a new upgraded version were our society will now go cashless .
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many people are still here to hunt bounty? on: January 15, 2019, 12:18:05 AM
I see that number of bounty participants decrease, but i am still here. May be this year will be better for bounty hunters than 2018.
Only it will get better when the prices of bitcoin and the other cryptos were increases then only there will be some hope for the new projects.Until now there is no changes in the market yet hope it to be changed.

we dont need to wait for the cryptos to recover in order to see a good bounty and airdrops because they are both dependent on the investors and not on the price of cryptos  .

right now many of them are still valueable but its just they are hard to find because they are usually got dumped by these junk projects  .  we can see that many users are still a  bounter hunters on this forum because majority of them are wearing  a signature   .

like you and me , they wont also stop because they also wanted to earn a profit so theres no point on quiting too early  .

873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is KYC For Bounty Hunters Good? Lets Share Our Views! on: January 13, 2019, 11:16:27 AM
I don't actually join in any bounty campaign that requires your KYC it's a hassle work to update your personal information, I really hate . In the other side it's a necessary move to implement due to abuse from bounty hunters.

i feel you man . i do also hate kyc because its a hassel . what i do is i only skip the bounty or an airdrop with kyc so that my efforts wont be wasted .

kyc is not implemented to bust abusers because theres another more important reason on why we have a kyc now  .

aside from that . kyc is also kinda bit risky if you will give your information to a scam project because they can use it to abuse other service or people .

kyc isnt bad at all only if you confirm that the bounty/airdrops are 100% verified  . i also notice that kyc supported projects are more profitable than those who dont have a kyc . they increase the rewards because they know that kyc is a risky and hassel thing to do  .

877  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Buy the dip" is only a strategy for losers on: January 11, 2019, 08:50:52 AM
Nobody knows for sure where a buttom of a dip is, so if the price looks good enough for you and you feel that it can raise in the future and bring you a nice profit, just "buy the dip".

What you are telling is true but you have to see the market and when ever you see the market is going down more like 5% or 10% then it is good time to buy as it will surely bounce back at least 2 to 5% back up and this way you can trade and lower your purchase price. This is the only strategy working in buy the dip

5% to 10% is only small and cant be considered as a dip  . a real dip can drop for about 40 to 60 percent . that was the perfect time buy because you can surely save a lot of discounts and you are not also a loser after you do this  because a real user is someone that doesnt grabe this perfect oppurtunity  . other loser is the op of this thread because he is a bitcoin hater  .   i know that he will soon regret and  he will eat his words   .
878  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: January 11, 2019, 02:50:05 AM
for those who said that its impossible well think again  .  what if i told you guys that trading without loosing is possible ?  yep you heard it right .  have you already tried demo trading  ?   demo trade is kind of trading where you can get free cryptos inside the platform but you cant withdrew them  . they can only be used to sharpen your skills  but in real time  trading , i guess it is only possible if the market will always be stable  .
879  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There is no magic in trading on: January 09, 2019, 05:48:04 AM
Magic?  There is no magic in cryptocurrency trading, you need skills and a lot of information in order for you to make profit in trading. Trading is a risky job so you can't ensure if you are going to win or not.

you once said that trading is a risky job and by that i can say that we need magic so the risk will somehow lessen or become subsided  . aside from magic we also need skills because trading is a hard task  .

Even though there is no miracle in trading, there must be luck in trading. In my opinion, the problem is that there are already many people who are lucky to get a big profit in trading in the crypto world.

luck  , magic , miracle , all of them are the same but thats not enough to bring you huge profits .  we must still use our brains to trade effciently because we the only one that can decide for our self .
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your plans with your Altcoin? on: January 08, 2019, 12:55:07 AM
for now I'm planning to keep holding the altcoin that I have and I will wait for the market to get better so I will be able to sell it and make a profit
Right now almost all holders must suffer losses due to the current decline in altcoins which have dropped in price. of course that decision is the right thing

Hodlers didnt actually loose as long as they are continue hodling their coins on this dump market but if they manage to sell then thats their problem anymore .

Anyway my plans for my alt is also hodling them for now since i dont need much money  and the price werent also good .   my other plan is to hodl my btc and to buy extra coins as well because i sense that there will be an incoming bull that will occur this month  .
