861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO ACHIEVE HIGHER BOUNTY REWARDS on: October 24, 2018, 05:53:54 AM
Hi everyone, i have been hearing so many bounty hunters complain of receiving low rewards after participating in a bounty Campaign for a long time.. Here is my own Suggestion. I think that bounty managers should have a required number of participants on every campaign in a Bounty. With this, there would be limited number of participants and Higher bounty rewards..

Guys what do you think?

I think this is important and a key to bounty hunters earning more. Bounty platforms like bountyhive tend to limit the number of participants on each campaign by having a cap. Once it's reached, new entrants aren't accepted.

Again, for projects, the more people that help spread the word about their ICO, the better for them. So while capping the number of participants benefits the bounty hunter, it's a disadvantage to the project.

This is a double edged sword indeed. As a bounty hunter myself, I personally like the idea of limiting the number of participants in order to gain higher rewards at the end of the project which would help decrease the problems being faced by hunters these days.

Never worked on Bountyhive, but some positive and negative stuff about it, but I do like how they are restricting the number of participants which is more likely to benefit them at the end of the day.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: December is coming no real growth for alts yet... on: October 23, 2018, 06:09:53 AM

People in the world of cryptocurrency are all hoping, expecting, praying and also wishing that come the end of this year -- December 2019 -- there can be a bull run for both Bitcoin and the rest of the cryptocurrency market. Sadly, things are not yet picking up and I am not seeing big signs that we can have it this year.

I am concerned that if there will be bull run (even a mild one will do) this year, we can be starting the year 2019 with a gloomy mood setting up for the rest of the year a bearish situation. Of course, not unless maybe there can be that ETF thing approval from SEC maybe that can be the big difference.

As far as I remember, during the last year things started to pick within a week so there is still hope for the best to come. Lets grasp one important thing that crypto currencies can be very manipulative and thus at nay point if whales or big millionaire groups thought to pump it then they will do it willingly. Last years study shows that Futures investment and acceptance of the Crypto currency from Japan were the leading factors for this and thus a good news can also impact things nicely. We need such sparks this year also. I guess its too early to judge about everything, at the very last movement things can go wild.

Very true. The acceptance of cryptocurrencies by Japan led to a huge rally during the middle of last year while whales pumped it to insane levels during the end of last year which  goes to show how volatile this market truly is.

I am fairly confident that the market situation will not change for the remainder of this year no matter how many people pray due to the prolonged bear market through out this year and I feel 2019 could be completely different if the ETF proposal gets approved.
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never say die to Bitcoin on: October 20, 2018, 06:25:54 AM
This is a known fact op and everyone knows that almost all world governments will never support this growing cryptocurrency market since it poses a threat to their own vested interests. The world governments have already lost the faith of millions of people around the world thanks to their diplomatic actions which is why cryptocurrencies is helping provide a route to conducting financial transactions online without any sort of outside interference. Screw the governments who choose to ban this market and focus only on improving your portfolio since that is all that matters.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY FUELING A NEW FUTURE FOR UKRAINE on: October 17, 2018, 06:46:17 AM
Not just for Ukraine but for a large part of the world, cryptocurrency is spreading across Africa, Asia, Middle East, America ETC..

it's quick growth is down to the fact that it puts control in the hands of its users and investors and away from the government..
Ukraine happens to be a country usually bedevilled WIth crisis due to the high handedness of its leaders, and also it's corrupt practices,so the presence of cryptocurrency in such a nation will be of immense and huge benefits to the teeming populace.

But hopefully cryptocurrency would be allowed to stay in the country and citizens of that nation will be able to trade in cryptocurrency and make a living of it

Good points. I agree with the countries that you mentioned. Africa is one of the biggest examples of how cryptocurrencies are changing lives for the better and it is good to see more and more countries following in their footsteps.

I am sad to see big countries like India and China avoiding cryptocurrencies which goes to show that they are afraid of embracing newer and riskier technologies slowing their development. Cryptocurrencies are here to stay no matter what any government says.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Comparison Last year with now on: October 15, 2018, 06:17:01 AM
The crypto market of this year is not in any way similar to that of last year. Even though there will be a surge in the market, do not expect much, because it might not be as much as we had last year.
Also, as crypto enthusiast, either you are an investor or a trader, one of the things you should ensure is that you are making q steady profit from every of your investments.
The direction towards which the market is going should not get you worried, just be sure you are making progress.

Well said. This is what many investors fail to understand. This market is not some kind of get rich quick scheme where you can simply invest and get rich overnight. Everyone including me understand the risks involved with this market.

People who choose to ignore the risks usually end up leaving this market when they don't end up earning any sort of profits which goes to show how stupid they are. Invest only what you are willing to lose.

Research is crucial while investing into any particular cryptocurrency in this volatile market. I always advise investing during the bull market period and avoid any sort of investment during a bear market.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google lifts Crypto-Currency Add Ban! on: October 13, 2018, 06:27:20 AM
This is a positive side to the cryptocurrency ban issues wailing steadily in the global market. Companies might have started giving a listening ear to cryptocurrency and its market value. Anything real cannot be threatened and this is a very good example of such case. Companies have started becoming softer in letting cryptocurrency and the blockchain thrive within, through and with them. I salute the team members of Google Inc. who made this step an easy  and productive one.

I partially agree with you. It is true that this is a good move by Google which helps support the cryptocurrency market in a big way, but you should not forget the fact that they still do not fully support cryptocurrencies(Read the news about the funny advert by Google about cryptocurrencies recently). They most likely are simply supporting the blockchain technology behind Bitcoin just like many other companies and governments proving their double standard nature. I personally admire Google a lot, but I do not like their pessimistic view of the crypto market though.
867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: here you have it economists speak against bitcoin on: October 11, 2018, 06:22:35 AM
Do you still rely on the opinion of economists and analysts? They always change their opinion depending on the mood of the market.

When bitcoin begins to grow, they will sharply praise the cryptocurrency
Or perhaps, they will continue to speak negatively because they utterly are against cryptocurrency. With that being said, these analysts are nothing but a burden to crypto. They think they are changing people's point of view about it. But in fact, they are strengthen it. And the proof is that the bitcoin price is still around $6k. Let them keep fighting a war they cannot win. And eventually, bitcoin will show them the unexpected. Just watch it.

I agree with you. I don't bother about what the critics say about Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market usually since majority of them antagonize crypto in the wrong way without proper examples due to their biased views.

It is best to simply ignore such people and focus on improving your crypto portfolio in the short term as well as the long term since that is all that matters at the end of the day. Don't waste your time arguing with stupid critics.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Question on: October 09, 2018, 07:02:27 AM
it's normal if projects discontinue and refunds to investor, then projects will not pay bounty rewards because it's just a useless tokens, even if project reached their softcap or hardcap target, still have chance don't pay for bounty participants, try to use the forum search functions, a lot of similar scam cases, example: envion and tokenpay
Yeah, that is one part of the risk of being a part of a bounty campaign and that is why sometimes it can be quite rewarding as well. Most of the team understands the risk you are taking in promoting the campaign and the possibility of you knowing that you getting paid are dependent on the success of the ICO, which is why you can simply get something substantial over time, depending on the campaign though.

Most project that would reach their soft cap or hard cap and end up not paying bounty hunters actually show a fraudulent team in that aspect, which is why it is necessary to always look out for the team, the availability of product before even deciding to invest.

I agree. This is one of the most disgusting and pathetic aspects of this cryptocurrency market. I absolutely despise those development teams who simply run away with the hard earned money of bounty hunters and investors who helped support their project in the short term as well as the long term. Extensions of the ICO by the development teams makes sense based on market conditions as long as they pay the bounty hunters and investors properly at the end of the day. This is why research is crucial while investing into any ICO in this volatile market.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check if ICO is scam or not? on: October 07, 2018, 06:33:20 AM
With 100% probability it is impossible to determine the Scam or not. But to minimize the risk you need to carry out a detailed analysis of the project:

1. To explore the idea of the project, WhitePaper, RoadMap.
2. Is there a prototype of a project or an existing business?
3. To study the project website, learn SoftCap, HardCap.
4. Evaluate the team's activity in the topic of the announcement and in social networks.
5. Was there a Pre-Sale and how successfully?
6. To get acquainted with the project team, with their pages in social networks.
7. Are there any known list of stock exchanges where listing is planned?

I agree with some of your points. Among the points that you mentioned, I feel that the points 1 and 3 are the most important ones when compared to the rest.

- Whitepaper: An ICO with a comprehensive whitepaper is usually legitimate
- Roadmap: An ICO that has planned everything in advance through a detailed roadmap is worth checking out
- Softcap and Hardcap: An ICO that has optimal softcap and hardcap requirements(Based on bull or bear market) seems legit in my opinion

Apart from these points, the developer team and their social media interactions also play a big role in determining whether a particular ICO is worth investing into or not.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good update but at a wrong timing on: October 05, 2018, 06:13:10 AM
I do agree that this is a great update which helps in a big way in weeding out the useless spam from this forum, but they should have atleast informed before hand about an update like this in order to help everyone get prepared. This is an aspect that this forum needs to improve in since timing is everything. I personally know many people who lost their hard earned money thanks to this shock announcement.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency; The future, glory now or later? on: October 03, 2018, 06:13:01 AM
Lately several critics have had so much to say about what they think cryptocurrency is. Many said the best about this innovation have been seen already, and that all we can wait to see is degeneration and probable final extinction. But for me, I think we have not even seen any glorious day(s) I believe they are still very much ahead.
"Lately"? The critics are here since day 1 and even when bitcoin boomed to whole another level. Ungrateful bastards would never support the moment. You shouldn't be taking them too seriously. I don't know what example to give you of a crypto related glory but if you're too blind to notice around, you're ignorant.

My take, what do all think?
Stop doubting the potential of the cryptos. Without critics, we wouldn't be where we are.

I agree. Screw the critics. Who really cares about their opinions anyway? We don't care about the government's stance on cryptocurrencies which is why I don't really understand why anyone would be interested in what the critics think.

The cryptocurrency market is here to stay and I have complete faith in my statement based on my experiences with this market over a long period of time. For example, the lightning network has evolved to a point where we can use Bitcoin to purchase Coca-Cola through vending machines.
872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marketing Bitcoin - What age group should be the ideal target group? on: October 01, 2018, 06:31:06 AM
I feel that the younger generation would be the ideal target group in this aspect since they are the future while the old people will cease to exist later on. If the old people feel that cryptocurrencies are worth adopting, it is a great move on their part.

However, if they don't support cryptocurrencies, I don't think that it is a big loss in any manner whatsoever. The younger generation hold the key to the future of the cryptocurrency market.

They need to be educated about the basics of the technology behind Bitcoin in order to help push it forward.
873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency market - what are you doing in this market conditions? on: September 30, 2018, 07:07:35 AM
At the moment, I strongly feel that HODLING is the best strategy since the bear market will most likely not end anytime soon which will only drive the value of my portfolio even lower rendering any form of selling absolutely useless. I would advise purchasing only the popular cryptocurrencies like Ripple, Litecoin, Stellar, Ethereum etc since majority of the cryptocurrencies might not be able to survive this onslaught over time which means you could potentially lose your funds if you invest into less popular cryptocurrencies. Do your research carefully and invest wisely.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Market is coming on October to December on: September 28, 2018, 06:19:10 AM
lol they have been promising you the return of the "bull market" for about nearly 10 months now and all this time they have been dumping on you while encouraging you to hold promising the big returns while they filled their pockets Cheesy

we are very close to the bottoms and the end of the dumps. but two steps still remain. 1 is more dumps to go lower and reach the bottoms for real and 2 is to accumulate and reverse which will take a lot of time. it won't just happen suddenly as you blink.

I agree. This year has not been kind to the cryptocurrency market so far and I doubt the rest of this year will be any different. There is a small chance of a rally due to the holiday season, but this will most likely be a mini rally and not a major one in my opinion. I suggest HODLING all your coins and tokens and forget about the rest of this year and focus on 2019 where the market might actually growing again in a big way due to a multitude of reasons.
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason Behind Bitcoin’s Price Crash Revealed on: September 25, 2018, 06:43:55 AM
Early investors in Bitcoin are faced with large capital gain taxes from the profit they made in 2017.

Read more here: https://smartereum.com/5636/the-real-reason-behind-bitcoins-price-crash-revealed-tue-aug-7/

Qoute from that link, way back 2014 IRS made an announcement that crypto's are defined as a property and not a currency.
So as such they are entitle to pay thier taxes as property owners.
So, this is some question i want to ask;
1. How can IRS make a conclusion thay cryptos is a property? And how much power the IRS is to defined it?
2. Even if this true. How to track all transcation from 3-4 years ago and get their identity with decentralized system? Using what punishment?
We talk about investors globally, i do not think it is possible. Added with different tax regulation in some country.
Please share your thoughts

I agree with the points that you made. The fact is that the IRS cannot track every single cryptocurrency related transaction due to the anonymous nature of this market no matter how much manpower they possess at the end of the day.

It is quite obvious that the primary reason for Bitcoin crashing in price is due to the fact that many investors were simply pulling out their profits due to the bans imposed by several countries scaring them and spreading fear.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL CONDEMNING BITCOINS on: September 23, 2018, 06:35:35 AM
BItcoin is getting better and popular. As a matter of fact, so many gaint companies and industries are chipping in bitcoin and its activities into the operation.
It might interest you note than Mercedes Benz, BMW, Samsung, TECHNO and APPLE are all accepting bitcoins for their products.

Bitcoin is growing stronger, lets forget about the red on the market. WE WILL SEE GREEN SOON AND IT WILL BE ALL SMILES.

I'm not really sure those big companies are already accepting bitcoins as payment. My recent memory says that Samsung acceptance was fake news after all. Perhaps those giant companies will take advantage of Blockchain Technology though. We might see them accepting crypto, but not today or even not ever because of bitcoin's price volatility.

The owner of bitconnect.com got arrested in India for $13 billion ponzi scheme using bitcoins. Rich Scammers are using bitcoins for ponzis and illegal activities

Just one bit of the puzzle as to why governments are totally against crypto.

I partially agree with you. It is true that the major companies like Samsung are loving the blockchain technology and are not necessarily fans of the cryptocurrency market overall, but this certainly does not mean that all companies are doing the same thing.

For example, many institutional investors are genuinely interested in investing into this market, but they want a secure medium to do so which is why the upcoming ETF proposal is being hyped up so much.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Mass adoption on: September 21, 2018, 06:10:11 AM
Usually mass adoption only happens when the "lords of the world" start promoting it ostensibly. I believe to think it in large scale considering only individual efforts is a daydream. Businessmen (little, medium, big ones...) can adopt the currency and incentive their customers to adopt too and they may be successful on it, but it doesn't mean the mass adoption will happen.

The masses will come when the governments tell them to do this... And it will only happen when Crypto reach to a safe centralized stage. I don't think it's good, but that is how the masses work.

I agree. This is one of the best way to help cryptocurrencies go mainstream. Governments, celebrities and other big shots can easily help promote cryptocurrencies which could be mutually beneficial since they end up earning massive profits while cryptocurrencies rise in popularity thanks to their actions. Mass adoption of cryptocurrencies is truly difficult due to the extreme volatility of this market which is why this is one of the most effective ways overall as you stated.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk rank down on: September 20, 2018, 05:38:44 AM
The bounty bitcointalk rank was very important. But now a lot of rank down. Will it be an issue for the current bounty? We do not have the means to appreciate. Many of us are caught up in a problem because of the merit issue. If you can get the best out of the way, you can help others learn the best. There's been a lot of bounty coming from here. plz help.

Of course, it will be an issue for you newbies for the reason you're going to be nuked from your current campaigns and if you're not that confident about yourself getting on a higher rank then it's time to say goodbye son.
Being here foe bounties is considered as a sin, forum is meant for discussion not for bounties. These things are just some subs or an additional feature for the forum not for the people entirely.

It is true that newbies will be excluded from bounty campaigns, but participating in bounties is not a sin. Lol. What makes you think that participating in bounties is bad for the forum?

The fact is that shit posting is considered a bad thing which is usually done by low ranked members in this forum and the new rule is meant to help alleviate this problem to an extent.

No one is discouraged from participating in bounties in this forum, but constructive posts are what matter at the end of the day.
879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wish! I wish!! I wish!!! Stop always wishing You bought Bitcoin in 2009. on: September 18, 2018, 06:21:26 AM
Honestly, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wishing that we could go back to 2009 in order to purchase Bitcoin at its crazy low price since almost everyone love to dream and who doesn't dream on becoming a millionaire through crypto?

I have thought on multiple occasions about inventing a time travel machine like the Delorean( Grin) and travelling back to 2009 in order to purchase some Bitcoins and retire happily in the future.

As some famous people say, there is no limit to dreaming and no one can place a limit on your dreams except for yourself.
880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop being pessimistic. The potential of bitcoin is still immense! on: September 17, 2018, 06:05:15 AM
There's too many newbies on board yet. The hate for bitcoin must be real, we need to see all the casuals that entered in the last FOMO season out, because these guys aren't thinking rationally, they don't understand the fundamentals and they don't therefore understand the inherent value of bitcoin.

Of course bitcoin is insanely tiny compared to what it is and where it should be. I mean Jeff Bezos' fortune is bigger than bitcoin, how stupid one would need to be to not see how insanely undervalued bitcoin is? very, and these are exactly the type of people we need to see dumping. Once they are all out we'll go for a new all time high as the smart people that see these facts are waiting for that to happen to enter the market.

The fact is that we need both strong and weak hands to help support this market because the weak hands outnumber the strong hands by a big margin. More and more people need to continue investing into this market to help it grow. We have no idea when the market will explode again, but all we can do is encourage others to check out this market and see if they like it. Bitcoin adoption will continue to increase with time which is why I am not really concerned about this honestly.
