Hi guys, what is the best coin for trading . Give me your suggestions  For beginner, I suggested btc for trading but if you're expert that's different story. BTC is the best and right coin to learn real market works and also give you the best experience about news " impact ". For us, bitcoin is mother coin and the beginner for all coins, you know bitcoin works than you'll know coins as well. But for expert, any coin is opportunity to get coin depend your skill and fund. ETH is still the best coin for trading/ investment even today got lower price, but I believe ETH will survive. Good luck to you. |

Take the journey and find your dream ( profit ) by yourself. Meaning is, we can't say profitable if there's no proof, so you must decides to try. Which one? anything you like and have skill. Never afraid to start something and face the risk. I suggest take one and start with faith and dream to get success. But for beginner, I always said crypto is better. Good luck. |

So we see that something like a real fight between Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash has started. While BTC fell and go on falling, Bitcoin Cash has shown a fantastic growth!
Does it mean that there is a possibility altcoin will be the winner?
I don't think so and thank you for your post. Until now bitcoin still number one and always giving impact into another coin. Possibility? Maybe but not sure. Besides that, all this time bitcoin still give passive income and amazing journey about new way investment. 1 BTC - cause its real deal. I think its kind of most useful coin and its ETF for all other stuff
2 ETH - same as BTC. No clue but need to have it.
3 LTC - some times it has his moments in lending. Plus if transactoin cost 0.01 of currency, its better be cheep currency
4 ZEC - im always for anonymity
5 CLAM - very good lending on Poloniex
6 Stratis - investing in casinos looks nice
7 DeepOnion - im in airdrop so what the hell
Planing to buy
NEO - cause its chinese thingy, i think they will form they own market at some time
DASH - Cause diversify
That's good, even I need you to explain who to grow up your capital, from trade or investment?. We all have portfolio with different assets or single asset, but we like if you share how to increase it?. For me, you're opportunist because have more than enough coin but that's fine. Hi guys, new here, been reading a lot of tips & tricks and learning a lot from all you guys so thank you for that already!  About the upcoming Segwit2X BTC fork I was wondering what trading strategy you are considering. Given the past two forks of BCH and BTG, I assume: 1. The overpriced BTC goes immediately down after the fork and settles at near the 5k area (just an estimate). 2. The value from BTC flows mostly and directly to the altcoins. As there is no way to accurately predict when block 494,784 is mined, there is a good chance some of us are sleeping (as I was during the BTG fork) while all this action takes place. From logical perspective, I'd want to move my BTC to e.g. LTC/XRP/IOTA/.... almost instantly after the fork. Hereby I take my gains from BTC while also profiting from the increase in altcoin values. In a later stage, I will use the surplus from the alts so re-invest in BTC and end up with more than I have right now. However, as I will likely have most my BTC on my ledger and exchanges do not support consequential trade orders (e.g. (1) sell BTC, (2) buy XXX etc), this might prove difficult.  So.. What strategy will you be using?  My strategy is simple, exchange my bitcoin into currency, wait and see and take action again. I don't want to think ( analyze ) so hard with this issue, I want invest/ trade with calm and comfortable. If there's news/ issue about real market I'll leave it and focus with another way to make money. Just like that and it's work for me. I have some coins with me currently and was looking to sell them currently, but wanna share something and ask your opinion on what should be done.
I saw Bitcoins breaking 7600 at normal speed and I was not going to sell before 8k (as that's my target price for better value), but as you already know, S2X been called off was a reason why the price took a dip. I want to ask you that should I wait for it to gain back and break the ATH once again?
Or should I sell them at current price (if it could drop more) and buy back lower to take the opportunity? If this is your opinion, where should I wait till if I sell now?
I suggest to wait and see, real market has different pattern with our mindset and analyze. But for safety, just sell it and replace your money into currency, leave crypto for a while. People will give naswer depend their experience but if to many advice you'll get " panic ". Your money your way but wait and see is the best you can do right now. Good luck. |

I often lose my temper when altcoins drop sharply.
And in general, I sell altscoin at the bottom
Wait and see ( patience ) to find the right time to sell, that's all and just like that. I believe you not calculate ( manage ) your fund wisely. Besides that, you still don't understand real market has their own answer ( risk ). If you don't have those thing, " panic " and " loss " will become your friend. Even alt has low price, I never worry because I still have asset to cover it. Patience and good luck to you. |

No one will know what happen in Dec, even tomorrow is still mystery. Just prepare your self to face the worst. See again your strategy, calculate your target and fund to find " stop loss ", replace it and take action. I suggest you buy bitcoin to learn about real market or take the coin you want but only one. Learn to manage and grow up fund with the easy way you know, slowly but sure you'll understand. For me, Dec will become nightmare for altcoin. Good luck to you. |

I would like to know what research the full time day traders do before trading any particular coin? and what their trade entry and trading procedure is during the day?
Do you have a daily take profit target?
Do you go by a checklist before making a trade entry?
Do you Look at an exchange and make a trade entry on a coin going up by a certain percentage?
Do you mostly buy/sell your positions on the same day?
I know its a lot of questions and will generate different answers by different traders and probbably answered somewhere already, but this help would be extremely useful to a newbie like me.
I do understand the basic concepts fundamental analasis and technical analasis etc when looking at markets and know that news and trend patterns are what most professional traders look at.
Too much question and I think you never learn about anything before. I can tell you like this, stop ask and start trade with little money and your skill. Never try to back again just try and try again. Experience is the best teacher to understand how market works and also how good you are? Need time to understand but it's worth to be done. I have been following bitcoin price's actions since August last year and one thing that is common is that price pattern do repeat itself. Event that happens in July to August this year is about to repeat itself again. I have been going through a lot of speculations threads and many of them are saying that bitcoin is going to clash after splitting but I disagree with that and for your information another pump is about to happen and this is going to push bitcoin price above $8,000. I have also see that this may happen before end of this year.
Wait and see, after November 2017 we can decides should buy or not?. I'm not fundamental trader/ investor, but only using MACD with long time period to see where the price will go. Second thing, I also have experience with currency trading ( I think similar ), until now support my activity very good. Different opinion but profit become our goal. Good luck to you. |

Look at the price, what's happening, it's all affect of hard forking, which will be happening in 3rd week of October. But now we can see the reaction of the market. Just wait couple of days more, All Alt coin price will hit rock bottom. It is good chance to buy or invest in alt coin, if you want to get into few new coins.
I think wait until November is the right step you should do before buy altcoin. For me, it's too early to buy altcoin. If you look from chart please replace it with long time period ( week - month ) and you'll know what I'm try to say. I'm not fundamental trader/ investor but my strategy still give me passive income. My answer is when price action reach buy area, it is the best time to purchase bitcoin. Only using MACD with long time period to decides where buy/ sell area and martiangle money management to start invest. News is only news, for me is nothing, ignore it. Still believe with ETH not XRP. Until now ETH give me passive income ( investment strategy ) and I agree if you say " market is good ". I try to buy ETH even the price falling down and now the right time to wait price action reach sell area. KICKICO was so much hyped during the crowdsale.Many investors have invested in KICKICO expected that they will see returns soon. But to their bad they have seen 10x loss. How investors are digesting this fact? Will this coin have any future ? Their total supply is also too much.
I choose to sell KICKCOIN before too late, the price not good. For me, the price action and volume is indicator to invest/ trade and KICKCOIN doesn't have it. But if you have faith and wise analyze, I think " hold " is the right step you have. First, it's like gambling but will give you great journey and experience. Second, real market market has their own answer, maybe KICKCOIN next year will raise up again. Your choice and good luck. |

People will give answer depend their experience and analyze, only prediction. No one know which one is the best but they will try to analyze with their knowledge. I suggest you try to buy one, just one and learn it slowly but sure. Calculate your money management and face the risk. Do that again until you find the best one. For me, Gladius is better ICO for this month. |

We can do that, because that's not impossible. Just like me today, but must change strategy first. For trading I only use long time period just like investment analyze. Yesterday one of my friend sent me some dogecoins, so out of curiosity i started digging information about how this coin work and how it is different from others as it is my first interaction with this Crypto-asset.
I found some interesting information regarding how it's origin is based on a popular internet meme and it's community active participation in various charity works and even in helping their fellow mates who lost their dogecoins in a cyberattack through various crowdfunding efforts, which is indeed appreciable.
If we specifically talk about speed of transactions - i have to say dogecoin is indeed fast. But the thing which caught my attention is there is no limit to its suppy, which means it is present in infinite amount.
Till today more than 100 billion dogecoins are in circulation. With as of today Oct-23-2017 , 1 DOGE = $0.00101075 .
We have been taught about price-supply-demand things in school , in simple terms a price of an asset will depend on demand in market and its suppy - if supply of an asset is more than demand price falls and if supply is less and demand in market is more then price of an asset increases. So we can relate this to the continous BTC price increase as demand for bitcoin is more and supply is limited which increases it's value.
Comming to the fact that dogecoins have no limit of supply i hardly think it can ever become an investment asset or a stable currency ever. I see some people on twitter who are investing in alt coins see it as an long investment on which i completely disagree.
If we want to see doge coin really succeed , here are my views what the developers should seriously take note of:
1. Limit its Supply:
More than 100 billion doge coins are in circulation with market cap of approx. USD 13.5 MIL . 100 billion is a big number and it's always increasing so unless community decide to limit it , i donot think it can attain any significant value in longterm.
2. Ok if we limit it - what will we do with existing coins?:
Solution to above problem is quite simple. We just need to publish a new Crypto-token or currency which will derive it's value from previous currency in circulation. For Ex: Let the new currency be called Super Dogecoin denoted by S-DOGE. As per our convenience we can set it's base value like 1 S-DOGE could be equal to 1000 or 10K or say even 100k DOGEs . So not just it will decrease the numbers of coin but will also hold significant value. And this new currency could also be listed to the exchange if needed.

I choose to leave dogecoin, never take it again. This coin make me stress and sometimes lost control. Until now, dogecoin doesn't have significant price moving and volume. Nothing special about this coin and I don't have time/ patience to hold anymore. I sell it and loss almost 25% from my money. Just leave it and good luck. |

I was a trader awhile back, I want to say about a year ago now and wanted to know what the current state of the market is for the traders that are currently trading to this day? I know a lot of the current exchanges that I used for trading, such as Poloniex, are still around but aren't really being used much as before.
I wasn't able to profit much but would like to hear how people are doing these days. Thanks a ton!
For me, trading bitcoin and altcoin is still profitable but we need to change mindset ans strategy about trading itself. If we use trading like old time pattern, it will give us stress and panic. So, we need to change that. First, mindset trading changed become investment. meaning just take one, hold until the price comes up. Second, only using long time period to find the best buy and area sell. Do that and keep practice. Good luck and have a nice day. |
