861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: May 18, 2016, 11:15:52 AM
You can show them some YouTube videos if they are a more visual person and likes to see things in action. Or if they like reading you can show them tons of articles about bitcoin and just let them flow through them and your can provide them with a starting amount of bitcoins.

They will just be overwhelmed with the amount of information if you just load them with videos. It is better if the explanation comes from a person they can trust. They can watch the videos later if their curiosity has already been aroused. Giving them initial bitcoins to try it out is a good idea.

You might be right, you could show them some videos which explain it in a simple way, nothing too technical.
That's when they will start asking you questions  Smiley

Yeah showing video can really help as people like to watch videos and they will  be also find it easy and simple knowing it and they can follow according to video.
862  Economy / Speculation / Re: why do you buy bitcoins? on: May 17, 2016, 01:06:26 PM
In the overall I buy bitcoins as a investment because you can make money with it these days.
Another reason why I also buy them is for the fact that you can spend it for a lot of things these days(digitally).

If you are a fan of online shopping then bitcoin is the best way to go for it, I generally earn bitcoin and convert it to fiat currency when I need hard cash very  badly.
863  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: May 17, 2016, 01:02:45 PM
I have stopped spending now, as spending at this stage is not smart thing, I am waiting to see higher price at the time of halving and that would be the best time to spend.
864  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: May 17, 2016, 01:00:17 PM
For now, i think it's still a good time to invest on bitcoin. Especially, the price of bitcoin keep increase from yesterday and i'm sure the price of bitcoin will increase until the halving coming.

Exacty, price will not go down now, it will keep on moving up, so if you can afford to invest some money in bitcoin then this is the time to invest.
865  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: May 17, 2016, 12:58:46 PM
Wink
im only panic holding btc

Yup I fully agree with you. I am panic holding as well because I am scared to sell too early and get screwed by accepting a much lower price than what the potential price may be down the road. Plus I have invested in Bitcoin what I can afford to lose so no panic selling for me and I will wait to the very end before unloading the stash  Wink

Yeah you should only sell when you are earning some profits from it, even if the price drops you need to hold it longer for price rise and sell when the right time comes.

But if you want to earn more you will wait for the halving to come before selling your bitcoins today, but of course there are circumstances that when an emergency happens you will be forced to sell it.

If you really need money its of course logical to sell some bitcoins but if you do not have this problems, I do not see the point of selling on this moment.
Selling is just very bad on these days before the halving.

Yeah it is really a bad thing if you are going to sell it today just endure it and wait for the near halving because it will surely make you a profit from it. And you will miss it if you sell your coins today.
That means you don't want to get some profit before it.

Everyone wants to earn profits from bitcoin, but if you need money desperately and bitcoin is the only way, then you have to sell it, as you can always earn or buy in future.
866  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: May 17, 2016, 12:56:29 PM
Looking the price of bitcoin today it's increase a bit and yeah, bitcoin is continuous rising. I think it will increase again up to 1-2 weeks but also careful, because we don't know what happen next.

Yeah always expect the unexpected from bitcoin, as you never know what will be the price of bitcoin tomorrow so act and react accordingly that is best for you.
867  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: May 17, 2016, 12:54:46 PM
You don't need to convince you just need to know more about the history of bitcoin and you will trust bitcoin yourself Wink the price always higher than any coin and the most of people using bitcoin

I think there is nothing to scare to spend or invest your money with bitcoin,If you know about bitcoin then you can feel this one is everywhere in the world so don't afraid and make raise your bitcoin more and more.
Now that bitcoin is becoming more stable and it is climbing back to its highest peak of $1,000, we should not worry. In fact, the best way to do right now while the halving is near is to set aside some investment. And you can expect profit in the future because there is no way that the price will still go back.

That's why many people today even newbies are believing into bitcoin. Because of its stability and the fast growing connectivity of it with person that are using it today. Most people who are into gambling are find it very comfortable in gambling instead of going to physical casinos and gambling houses they would just open up their computers and start to gamble.

Yeah many people are buying bitcoins only because for gambling purposes as they find it really easy and convenient to gamble with bitcoins.
868  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: May 17, 2016, 12:47:22 PM
of course if price drop to $0  Grin
Then what is the point of selling?

OP : I would sell all my coins when the coin cap is being increased for whatever reason.

I am glad it will not happen as you can easily divide a single Bitcoin into much smaller pieces.

If price falls to 0 then it will conclude the end of an bitcoin era, and people who have invested lots of money in bitcoin will go bankrupt and that will be horrible situation.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: May 17, 2016, 12:44:41 PM
Dollar still be a winner. The dollar is used as the main currency in the world. the use of the dollar is very stable. almost all countries use the dollar today. I believe the dollar will still survive up to 100 years. and bitcoin will begin to undermine the strength of the dollar in the future.
It is not completely true, I caught that sentence as "everyone using dollar". It would be more appropriate if the dollar is called the strongest currency in the world today.

Of course it is the strongest currency and it will continue to rule the world in future too, and I don't think any digital currency can replace dollar in future too.
870  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: May 17, 2016, 12:42:31 PM
As of now, No. I consider my income in bitcoin as an extra income as i have my main source for a living and may bitcoin income is quite enough to sustain my daily expenditures.Hoping to increase my bitcoin income in the future.
yeah i was thinking the same as you though my income from bitcoin is big enough. I do not need to quit my job and live in bitcoin fully.while you can be very easy to set the time between real job and bitcoin.
bitcoin works in almost all of them are very simple

But I am still could not find enough earning with the bitcoins. If you share how we can make big amounts of money only from bitcoin related opportunities, but would be gratefully helpful. Making a living out of bitcoin still a dream for me.

Well, your bitcointalk account rank is hero member. You can earn much bitcoin by joining signature campaign, me also hard to earn a living with bitcoin.

The payouts from signature campaign is limited, you cannot depend only on signature campaign for living, you need to find other ways to earn bitcoin.
871  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: May 14, 2016, 11:02:17 AM
Save for certain period of time, as you never know what future holds for us, it will reach to moon or simply disappear, so its better to sell when price goes higher.

Yeah that is the right thing to do I guess, you should sell even if your are earning small profits from it and you can buy anytime when price falls.
872  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: May 14, 2016, 11:00:57 AM
It's possible bitcoin price $1000 to 2016
$650 price good sound dude 2016

Yeah if we see around $600 price at halving then $1k is possible to achieve by the end of the year..totally depends on the scenario at the time of halving.
873  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 14, 2016, 10:54:51 AM
Saving and investing in bitcoin at a moment would be really good for future as halving will take price to next level which can allow us to make great profits in short term.
874  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 14, 2016, 10:49:49 AM
Both are a good place to invest, but since the bitcoin halving is near i think that it does worth more to try invest in bitcoin rather in gold. Gold price to me seems to have more stable price comparing with bitcoin which its value changes dramatically within a night.

I agree on your though regarding the price of gold it more stable rather than bitcoin but most of the people would choose bitcoin because it can easily acquired with different ways and very convenient to use and sell rather than gold it takes time to sell and trade with gold.

If you are looking for quick profits then you should invest in bitcoin at a moment, as this is the time of bitcoin which will get better and better as time passes.
875  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: May 14, 2016, 10:44:22 AM
Get some  true job, or if in bitcoin invest or play safe do not risk your bitcoins in hell man, If you want some fast money try gambling you can earn 0.01 in just a minute, of course depends on your capital

You are still a newbie and you are recommending for gambling, don't do that ever you will surely loose everything at the end of the day.
876  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 14, 2016, 10:42:19 AM
I found a part time job as a bitcoin consultant and they actually pay me in bitcoin. It's not over yet though. I still need more bitcoins to go "all in".
But for the first time I feel like bitcoin is more than is actual value. And I love that.

Yeah bitcoin will be worth more in future then we expect and if you are getting stable job that pays you in bitcoin then I don't think there is anything wrong in it.
877  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: May 14, 2016, 10:31:55 AM
This will never happen specially now in present time.Bitcoin has taken off already now will not happen big dumps.Halving will play major role to prevent this thing. It will also help the price stabilize over 400 $.I don't dream because this is not going to be under 400 $ any more. There should be some possibility when we image something happening here it is unrealistic thought.

Yes I think we won't see that low price in future, and as you said maximum low would be $400 nothing below then that, but we hope that it remains stable around $600.
878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: May 14, 2016, 10:29:24 AM
The chance that it will happen is really small and that is that many people are still dont even know how Bitcoin works so that is the problem.
If it will make it disappear than Bitcoin have to be really popular so there will be also more people that have to promote it so more people can get to know about it.

Banks will not dissapear anyway and everybody know it. Bitcoin can't compete banks, it's just need to evolve to start. When bitcoin will grow we will see what happen.
But I believe now itself we can predict the future of bank based on the evolution of bitcoin. People will slowly start forgetting about using bank when bitcoin enters into mainstream of adoption. So, definitely bitcoin will compete with bank and also will definitely will win that race.

That is not possible ever, bitcoin can never make banks disappear even it hits the mainstream, people who are comfortable with banks will continue  to use them even if bitcoin reaches to the moon.
879  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: May 14, 2016, 10:27:22 AM
I am buying a lot of Bitcoin now because halving is coming very soon and the price is going to skyrocket.

Well your pretty sure in saying that the price will skyrocket in the impending halving, but predicting what will really happen in the upcoming halving is really OK, but we can't really say like that's gonna happen. but I wish it will Cheesy
I THOUGHT BITCOIN HALVING HAS UNPREDICTABLE RESULTS ???HOW SURE ARE WE THAT THIS WILL BRING INCREMENTS

Yup! Yeah I was thinking the same thing how can all be so sure that the impending halving will increase the value of bitcoin and yes the prediction on bitcoin can never be sure and we will never know what is up for us in the coming halving.

No one is sure what will be the price at halving, but everyone is hoping for better price, and only looking at the speculations I am buying at a moment.

That's true but it is expected that price will go higher at the time of halving and if you are planning to invest then I think you should invest right now.
880  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: May 14, 2016, 10:23:21 AM
I will do some research. if the price is likely to go up I will still hold bitcoin and buy more

Yeah that is the right thing to do, and majority of  people who  have faith in bitcoin will do the same, as if it falls that low then it also has an potential to rise again.
