It will not be soon. It will be after the halving and the block size increase. So it might be at the end of the year.

There's a chance that bitcoin will touch 1000$ for a moment in 2016. In the halving, the price should be atleast 750-900$. Of course at that time, there might be a spike that will touch 1000$ or more..

in this world of full of mystery, everything can happen. bitcoin can climb up to 1000$ , one reason is ,bitcoin goes up slowly by now because only few were selling their btcoins..others are holding and waiting for the the halving and when it starts bitcoin will jump up at 1000$ for sure

not even for a moment. if we see the price break through the $600 price level, then we can consider it to be a more than great achievement. there is really no point in thinking about $1000 prices. it's simply not realistic to happen this year.

Solid holders won't even bother selling any of their BTCs once we reach 600$. They would still wait for a larger price. Everyone's waiting for the 800-900$ price range. Although it's quite unrealistic to touch 1000$ because most people will panic sell all their BTC once we reach 800$.

It will never reach that value in this year and that is because the value was already stable for a long time so that is quite bad also so that have to chance and that is important for the Bitcoin. Because there are still many people that is waiting for a better value and that is logic because they want to earn profit.

My goal is to not sell a single Satoshi before I see the price reaches at least $1000 at some point in the future.

I think that you might be able to see $1000 over the next decade or so, depending on how the community moves and adapts with the new value and if we experience any significant growth, and if Bitcoin starts to get recognized by more world governments in a favorable light. I think there is a lot, and I mean a lot, of potential for growth with the devloping world, and it sounds like Venezuela could use something like Bitcoin right about now.

Be ready!
I'm ready long time ago. Bitcoin showed me that I need to be ready for surprises. I also believe that bitcoin can hit 1000 $ again this year. Maybe even more who knows? In people comments on bitcoin talk I see that most of us are very optimistic. It's a good thing.

Be ready!
I guess you are talking about Halving, because in this year, bitcoin's price is increasing behalf of halving. otherwise no more reason to increasing the price too fast. i also sure 1 bitcoin will be equal $1000. may be it will going more about $1100. but after halving bitcoin price will come back.so should use halving on the right time and get profit.

Yeah if we see around $600 price at halving then $1k is possible to achieve by the end of the year..totally depends on the scenario at the time of halving.

Yeah if we see around $600 price at halving then $1k is possible to achieve by the end of the year..totally depends on the scenario at the time of halving. The bitcoin price could be $500 to 600 during the halving. After that, the price could be over $1000.
