There are so many altcoins that is true, but only about 100 of them can offer something revolutionary. I mean real use of the blockchain technology.
For example IOTA is next big think, everything will be soon on the internet - like fridge and with IOTA you will be able to communicate between the devices.

You recommend to hold USDT but I do not think that is the best thing what you can do now. There are many theories that Tether is not backed so I will be very careful to hold this coin.

Almost all of my tokens go to zero. Nobody is trading them, maybe because holders will not sell for this price and there are no buyers for a higher price.

It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.
So true, a lot of ICOs parasite on succes of big coins like Bitcoin. It doesnt mean if Bitcoin is sucessful that every ICO will be sucessful. |

I think the several experiences in working with different projects has made bounty hunters very experienced. They can determine a good project from the start but some of the investors are just new and do not really determine a promising project from a scam and in the end scammers run away with their money. So bounty hunters who invest in ICOs will never invest if they do not trust the project.
I dont think so. ICO investors do a deeper research than bounty hunters. They are investing their own money, but bounty hunters are spending only their time. And most of them come from poor country - so they do not care about the time  . |

Ethereum is having a bad times. Some problems are discussing everyday but I still think that Ethereum has a future and has a value (they say that Ethereum has no value because Ethereum network doesnīt need Ethereum token to run the network)

Simply, because there are no investors. And that is caused because many people see that cryptocurrencies were in a bubble and "probably" they will not see their money again. So they are leaving and selling their coins for the lowest price.

Yes, it is a good recipe how to reduce the risk of being scammed. But if someone wants to scam you, they will do as much as possible to do it.
I have seen many really nice ICOs which scammed their investors like Centra (with advisor Mayweather).

Maby one Bitcoin is decentralized and other altcoins are centralized. Look for example on Ethereum, the main world has Vitalik Buterin right? Few years ago was created a fork of Ethereum and this move was based on Buterinīs idea. Also every ICO has a team, so why we are talking about the decentralization?  |

ICO which is listed on this site is seems to be more trusted than ICO which is not listed here. So if you dont find your ICO here on ICOBench it is not recommended to invest. If you invest 600$ in Ethereum, you will have 2 Ethereums, many experts believe that market will reach again its all time high in 2019. So in 2019 you could have arround 3000$ (ATH of Ethereum was 1500$) So I think that it is a very good return in one year. But do you think that market will again reach ATH? |

Past ICO projects are selling their Ethers to get real money to finance their development.
That is why price is falling - there are many sellers, many big sellers. Maybe if we are in a bull market ICOs will not sell their Ethers but hold them - that is why Ethereum didnt fall in 2017.

yes. calmness and patience must be prioritized in dealing with all situations including when market conditions decline. As a beginner, I often saw and heard people's complaints beside me when they sold tokens and soon the market conditions improved.
This market is falling down about 9 months, I think that it wasnt a best choice to invest in late 2017 and hold coins until today. Maybe it was better to sell them for half price and buy back coins again in these days... |

Mining is no more profitable. There are big companies like a Bitmain who invest million of dollars to mining farms, can you compete with them? i dont think so. So better is invest and buy Bitcoin than invest into mining rigs and mine.
