And Apple isn't comercialized? In the end it's all about making money.

EVERY qualitiy has a PRICE. IPHONE has quality and has his big price. But you know what u are buying when you pay for it

I would call it quality. Drop an iPhone ones, and your screen will shatter. Drop a Galaxy S3 and you'll won't even have a scratch on your screen.  The iPhone also costs around $200 to make, so the rest is pure profit. http://www.cnbc.com/id/101058725

LOOL How much do u think galaxy costs.

OTHER is not profit, other is BRAND what you are paying for. APPLE is the biggest brand in the world. And how do you become a biggest brand in the world. Not with some crap if you are selling it.

Man read a little about BRANDS

Why do you think you pay COCA COLA 1 $ or more, when it costs only 10 C to make it..

WHO would pay for thoose comercials.

You dont know a shit about  economy
Wow, someone is raging i see  Cheesy

862  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which operating system(s) do you use? on: November 02, 2013, 12:40:48 PM
I still use XP. Will probably use until I have my new computer  Grin

XP is good when it is fresh, but in couple of months it gets many bugs and it is slow. Win 8 is the bes OS, requires less resources than any other windows OS

864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin demonstrates how ridiculous Bitcoin is on: November 02, 2013, 12:37:51 PM
LTC is awesome just like BTC. At the end it's about making money regular people dont give a shit technically. A friend of mine is going buy tons of LTC he doesnt care about the slight techinal things, he think its legit enough and worth investing and sees it from a different perspective than the techy kids who think they represent the crypto elite with their silly predictions  Cheesy

LTC has value cuz people think it does. Same with BTC.

Litecoin Devs are putting out some crazy stuff lately, helping development of Bitcoin as well. I have a lot of confidence in Altcoins. It has not even started yet for cryptos.

Most of the LTC haters do not even know what the LTC dev team is doing. They are happy at just calling it the same as BTC when it is clearly not. LTC might get better than BTC but I still think it will never be the main coin (unless BTC breaks)

BTC will not break, but check out the LTC price in $ when BTC was 120+ $, and check it now. How much LTC decreasd in $ a little. PPL dont see a poent

Satoshi is a good mathematician / programmer - but he/they suck at basic economics.
If they had a real economist in their group they would have made the inflation curve of bitcoin much different from what we have today.
I like bitcoin, but I hope we get a new altcoin that is something between gold and fiat in terms of inflation.
Or even better: a coin with unlimited inflation that enables IOU trading over blockchain so that the blockchain don't become an asset for speculation, but rather a tool for trading OTHER assets.

Maybe he or they had something else in their mind

Precisely.

Like mass hysteria brought on by the thought of riches for every fool and $10,000+ Bitcoin price.

The real global digital currency will be like any other fiat, with massive room for inflation which will take that fiat to zero just like 100% of the fiats before it.

Bitcoin is the bait and switch - everyone has been bated, now we just wait for the switch.

but when that will gonan happen, noone knows

871  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A black box in your car? Some see a source of tax revenue (In the USA) on: November 02, 2013, 12:20:42 PM
Um that's dumb, why not just tax gasoline like almost every other country? surely the more gasoline you purchase,
the more miles you have driven.

That worked well in the past.  But the future vehicle is not powered by gasoline.  Do electric car tires wear down the road any slower?

i think not, you ? why do you guess that

I am sure everyone has read through and absorbed this nugget, yes?  If not do so and see what most likely lies ahead.  Not to scare anyone, just to be an informed miner.

Estimate of ASIC pre-orders: 11 to 13 PH/s (diff 1.5B to 1.8B) by end of 2013

877  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt-Coins on: November 02, 2013, 12:11:58 PM
Alt-coins are the only way BTC avoids being an inefficient monopoly. Competition is almost always a good thing. Though maybe it would be good if there were only 3 or 4 alt-coins. I'm thinking maybe just LTC, FTC and Peercoin. More communities working on solving the challenges of cryptocurrency sounds like a good thing, though they are mushrooming too much.

BTC would never be what is now, without altcoins. You have to admint that

I know that KNC team is working hard to deliver the best product, but confronting the facts, I must say I am a little disappointed.

The Jupiter miner I received was running at 280 Ghash/s on firmware v0.95. That became a 0 Ghash/s miner after upgrading firmware to 0.97... Firmware revision v0.98 brought my miner back to life, but I now have poor performance.

Back in late september when I was considering asking for a refund, I was lead to think that I was going to receive on the 15th of October a 550Ghash/s miner with less than 1W/(Ghash/s) electric consumption.

What I got on the 29th of October was a 400 ghash/s Jupiter, consuming 535 Watts (1.35W/(Gh/s)).

I have ~15BTC of lost income due to late delivery and since delivery 25% lost of income per day (@todays diff~0.18BTC) due to lack of performance
And with this you add bad life time due to poor efficiency (Ghash/J).... lets say I too am a little screwed up.

I emailed them on those matter, and even if they are kindly looking on my technical problems, they choose not to answer or missed the real issue...

You have to admint that they are selling only to trick ppl
