861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dr.Craig Wright talking about the end of bitcoin next year. [No FUD here] on: November 17, 2018, 09:45:54 AM
Note: This is a self-moderated thread, with the only intention to reduce the spam, so everything that I consider as a spam will be removed.

So this is not a FUD intended thread, as I don't really trust Craig Wright.
But I'm more curious about is it just a FUD-spreading sh!t he is doing here or he is referring to a specific problem (probably exaggerated)?

Here is the link to the interview.

Someone says it is right time to buy again BTC.

Example: https://cryptonews.com/news/this-investor-beats-the-market-says-it-s-a-good-time-to-buy-2934.htm

But I think we have to be carefull. It is too risky. I want to believe and buy more BTC but it can be trap.
862  Economy / Speculation / Re: is currently the right time to buy bitcoin on: November 17, 2018, 09:43:45 AM
A lot of people say that. If I have to give an example, you can browse the following article. This price drop may be at an opportunity, also trap.

863  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does holding really make us avoid losses? on: November 17, 2018, 09:41:07 AM
Whenever coins prices fall, there are always many posts that suggest that we continue to hold and not sell.
But is this really helpful? In fact, losses have already occurred, and we cannot deceive ourselves with the reason of book losses instead of actual losses. This is simply a shit reason.
Indeed, if you hold coins and wait for a bull market, you may recover your losses, but this is uncertain, it is not necessarily happening.
More often, holding will only make things worse.

I always tell HODL at the right time, trade at the right time. The important thing is that it knows the right time. It doesn't have an easy answer!
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As of today, what for you is the easiest-to-use cryptocurrency? on: November 16, 2018, 08:42:11 AM
If platforms such as Ebay, Amazon begin to use crypto money, then we can talk about a convenience. Or local developments will not be very useful to us.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Scammer Can affect the ETH price. on: November 16, 2018, 08:40:42 AM
Hello, You know guys most of reason why ETH falls down because of a lot of scammers used the smart contract and make a bright idea about for the future but its only fake. They always convince the investor using their good marketing strategy and once the investors are convinced so they invest their money. And once the scammers has a lot of ETH accumulated from the investors the will sell immediately so they can affect the whole market cap of ETH. What do you think?

This is probably the only benefit of the ETH's price drop. But a lot of crypto money is closely related to the price of Ethereum. For this reason, Ethereum's price should rise as soon as possible. I think it's unlikely that until the expected bull season, Ethereum sees $ 500.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Market Value of Bitcoin Drops Below $100 Billion - CoinNess News on: November 16, 2018, 08:39:06 AM
Monitored by CoinNess App, as of 03:20 (UTC), the market value of Bitcoin is about $99.2 billion, which is the first time to drop below $100 billion since October 2017. The total market value of the cryptocurrencies decreased by $15 billion within 24 hours.
Does anyone know why?

The recent price decline has brought us down as well as the market value. Especially the price of Ethereum's so low was not good for the altcoins.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REALLY WORKING CRYPTOPROJECTS (not from top 50) on: November 15, 2018, 08:02:56 AM
I know Eidoo and Docademic. They are a great projects. But still they have some issues, I think. They are moving slowly. They've late for market already. New projects coming everday. A good and quick ones can gets its work by their hand.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My altcoins are down... by a lot on: November 15, 2018, 08:00:31 AM
Hi,
So I’ve invested a bit of money into altcoins about a year ago, and did a bit of trading but then slowly lost the track of it... Until today, where I found my ledger in my closet and decided to give it another look.
So here I am now looking at my coins , and thinking on what to do... Hold on? Sell?...
I’ve got:

KMD EDG MSP

I’m down about 60% of my investment.

Any advice is appreciated!

EDIT: Yeah my entries are all super high tbh haha

EDIT 2:I’ve got quite a bit of faith in MSP & KMD Not sure about EDG though

Don't panic. Everyone is getting loose some money now. Bitcoin prices is dumping and we have a big damage already. I hope market will recover ASAP. Or there will be nothing to discuss about.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum smartcontract safe ? on: November 13, 2018, 12:32:15 PM
I've read a few articles about it that aren't safe, but I've never read any negative news. Millions of people, thousands of projects invest in these contracts. I don't think there's gonna be a problem.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - the best crypto! on: November 13, 2018, 12:28:04 PM
According to the newest research EOS is the most promising cryptocurrency for today. Do you agree with it, or you think it is a mistake?

I am believing in EOS future. But it is not so easy. EOS network has its own problem. It has to be developed. If they gets their support from community, I think they will make it.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy NEO coins now? on: November 13, 2018, 12:25:54 PM

872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: November 13, 2018, 10:34:51 AM

873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to make the crypto acceptance universal. on: November 12, 2018, 01:35:36 PM
I feel sad that crypto is not accepted as a payment in many countries like India ,China ,Thailand and many other.I think the best way to get out of this is we crypto enthusiasts becoming marketers and reaching out to the appropriate persons such as marketing heads of all the places where we are expecting the crypto payment to be accepted through all the social media platforms like Linked In,Facebook,Instagram, because Social Media has the power of making and breaking something.

To see Bitcoin and others as generally acceptable, we must first resolve some issues. First, energy consumption is unacceptable. Secondly, we need to improve processing speeds. I think we can't go on with POW anymore.
874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an example of true democracy ? on: November 12, 2018, 01:33:34 PM
This is because of its decentralized structure. However, there are some differences between democracy and not being the center of economy. Democracy is all about administration. It must be a matter of choice. I think we can give Bitcoin an example of democracy in economic structure.
875  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where do you buy bitcoins? on: November 11, 2018, 09:19:46 AM
I am looking for a few recommendations of places where I can go to buy Bitcoin with a credit card and has low fees. Can anyone recommend any good options?

Everyone has a way of his/her depends on which country are they living. Off course there are too many ways to buy Bitcoin. Some platform has its own way to borderless payment. But I think the easy way to buy Bitcoin, Buy in your country if it possible.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JUST TRANSFERED 20K USD AND BANK CHARGED ME $700 !!!! on: November 11, 2018, 09:16:26 AM
This is why we need bitcoin. I am soo sick of these central bank mafia scum controlling our finances.!!!

I just did a international wire transfer and the banks cuased me to loose $700 because of how the make a huge 3% margin with the conversion of the money from one country currency to another.Imagine those bankers sitting there in their Jacuzzis relaxing while their computers move money getting $700 or much more from all the people who send money.
D@mn mafia!!
What would you do with $700 for free??

These banks are building the own destruction by robbing people like that.It is very arrogant they should be in jail for theft and fraud.
This is why we need bitcoin!! If I used the ightning network I could have done the transaction for some pennies!

I think why Bitcoin is so important we can see here now. If you did this transaction with BTC, you could pay about only 3.25 $.

You may not pay with some crypto coins like NEO!

There's little time left to use Bitcoin this way. Soon the whole world will see it as a value of money, and I think this will hurt the banks a little bit. But it would be wrong to pity them. In the age of technology, it is not ethical that they still receive very high fees for money transfer.
877  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Markets Fluctuate Wildly. Why Invest Then? on: November 11, 2018, 08:57:49 AM
I can see fluctuations in the market I think this is not the time for investment... Is my opinion is right Or wrong

Answer is so simple. High Expectation. In this market conditions everyone expects high profit. This fluctations make someones rich. Under these conditions, either you need to know your market movements well or you can say HODL until the price you want.
878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Real" Value of Bitcoin? on: November 10, 2018, 12:07:40 PM
Has anyone else developed a model for valuing Bitcoin? What number did you reach?

Context: I believe Bitcoin is currently overvalued by around $500. I have been playing with some valuation models recently (have a quant/finance background) and have been measuring relationships between wallet growth, tx info like volume and fees, and transaction velocity against social sentiment over time, which got me to a "true" value of ~$5812. This isn't exactly speculation, but it's not baseless either so I'm interested in how you guys have approached the problem.

It doesn't make sense to calculate it. We need to take a look at what bitcoin is. Bitcoin, decentralized and P2P money for a payment purpose. And the value is designed to balance the market conditions. So if you want to see its current value, I suggest you take a look at the crypto money exchanges. You can see the price formed by supply-demand balance in the market conditions. If you are afraid of the manipulation of the exchanges, you can have a look at the decentralized exchanges.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why regular people are afraid to invest in Crypto on: November 09, 2018, 12:53:16 PM
Hi guys.
In most countries poeple don't get the opportunity to invest in Crypto due to country policy.
However some countries who have the opportunity of crypto policy free are afraid to invest.
Some people just don't have the courage and are not willing to take such risks of investing in crypto, while others find it difficult to purchase crypto using there credit cards or master Cards 💳.
I believe that crypto will have more regular people investing if it was integrated with the Banking payments system.

Do you think so too?

While I was investing in crypto money, I looked at the risks and examined them. If it's not a risk anyway, it's not worth it. We should not ignore this. The higher the risk, the higher the rate of profit.

However, it will take time for the entire world to accept it. Anyway, it will decrease in profit when everyone agrees.
