861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: October 01, 2023, 04:41:35 PM
How many people are gambling using credit cards? They should try banning gambling through crypto as well if truly they want to stop their people from gambling, many gamblers around the world don't like using credit card for gambling , it's not private.

I remember in 2020 the UK gambling commission also announced a ban on credit cards for gambling payments, they claimed that some gamblers with higher level of debts are using credit cards to facilitate their gambling behaviours, I believe gamblers are gambling with borrowed money which is at a high alarming rate.

I think the same thing is happening in Australia right now, so yes I don't see anything wrong about this ban on Credit cards, they have given such gamblers a name, the problem gamblers, they believe that gambling with credit cards will lead to financial problem, too many people are in debt via loan platforms and credit card.
Credit cards existed first before any other online payment methods such as crypto so I think many people are playing using it. We can't also disregard the growth of the others OFC, so yeah, they may need to look at it as well, if they totally want to stop the people who are getting addicted through gambling. The name credit card says it all.

Yes, people who use it are basically borrowing money to place a bet. For those who have a problem with gambling, this can lead for them to have a financial problems if this won't be stopped. Not only in gambling but there are also people who miss-used their credit cards and abuse loaning platforms. There should also be a way to fix these.

One of the most interesting results of the week was in the Aston Villa - Brighton game I assume. I was expecting Aston Villa not to lose. However this was just too much. I don't know how they managed to win this game by a score like 6-1. Brighton gave up on the game very quickly and it was just a destruction later.

Ollie Watkins was the man of the match clearly. He made a hat-trick and attracted the attention to himself. Maybe he isn't the top scorer but he is one of the best versatile players in the league currently with 4 goals, 3 assists.
I really appreciate Aston Villa performance in the match against Brighton, regardless of the result, in my opinion it was a little excessive and far from expected. However, this shows positive results for Aston Villa in the next match. If Aston Villa is able to maintain its performance, it is possible that facing Wolves will not be a problem. It comes back to whether Aston Villa can prove that or not. Because to be honest, a club like Brighton with quality players was able to be overwhelmed by the pressure from Ollie Watkins et al. This means that Brighton made a big mistake because at the start they thought that Aston Villa was not a threat.
Two coaches which done impressive performance in this season were face to face and Emery U having amazing time as his team Aston Villa completely bring down Brighton and then give them lesson of the season with the score of 6 - 1 even many were expecting win but mostly were not having any idea that Aston Villa can win this match by this margin with this win now they are at the 5th spot and Brighton is out of the top ranks which is not good for them after having impressive start of this season now they have another challenging match against Liverpool which is angry after foul lost against Tottenham and Brighton have to well-prepared for this match.

Aston Villa are surely at their best and now have fair chance for staying at the top for few more weeks, but now they are also having next challenging match against Wolves at Molineux Stadium which is at the moon after beating league leaders Manchester City.
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some good, trusty casinos that support crypto as payment? on: October 01, 2023, 08:25:05 AM
I recently got into online gambling and would like to ask for some recommendations of trusty crypto casinos (and perhaps those to avoid Smiley ).
I think there was only ever one casino you should actually avoid (based on this forum that is). 1xbit is absolutely notorious for its reputation and afaik, it's still running. So just avoid that and I reckon you'd be fine with most recommendations in this place. First rep already gave out btcgosu so you should be good to go, that site has a lot of good and reputable casinos already. If you're still curious about the casino themselves, either visit the site or the campaign page they have in this forum (They usually have one, especially those you see with signatures). Should give you a general idea of the casino imo.
Not all casinos that has a signature campaign are legit, and even 1xbit themselves has it. But, I agree about BTCgosu. I know these guys and they are like us who likes to question shady casinos and only post famous reputable casinos on their review site.

The OP is in a crypto forum and it's funny that he still asking if what casinos who supports crypto payments when it's obvious that all that are found here supports it, although like we talked about earlier, not all of them are trusted. I don't want to give suggestions anymore because I'm sure what I will give are already given by most users here. I only want to include that OP should play with care, I mean he should set limits in the money and the time he will use in playing a gambling.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good fundamentals don't ensure a great investment. on: September 30, 2023, 08:18:59 PM
The foundation doesn't always justify the project, it's still the community that matters. For example, TFS token is quite stable and one of the positive factors is a strong community
But, I think the community is still part of a foundation, although yeah you are right that without them there will also be no foundation that will be built, however we are talking about fundamentals here not foundation and I think both of them are not the same. I see that you mentioned TFS token there but I'm sorry because it looks like a shill to me, and I don't think it has a strong community because the coin is rarely being talked about now.

They are many alt-coins out there that has a good fundamental to invest on, which cryptocurrency market is on the Bear market and very cheap to invest in difference top alt-coins that is already established in the ecosystem and more profitable after holding in long term.
But, the OP just said that having a good fundamentals alone is not enough. He got a point there though. We can use the example of weak-hand investors who chose Bitcoin but still ended up as a loser. Apart from the awareness, we also need some personal skills, so that we can carry on successfully on our goals.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 30, 2023, 04:39:54 PM
Manchester City has tasted defeat for the first time this season. City have won 6 out of 7 matches, and lost just one match. However, Manchester City has been defeated in two consecutive matches. Manchester City lost against Newcastle in the EFL Cup match. And Manchester City unexpectedly lost in a Premier League match against a weak team like Wolves.

Manchester City lost a point but Arsenal did not make any mistakes in today's match. Arsenal had a great 4-0 win over Bournemouth. And due to the full point win in today's match, Manchester City is currently only 1 point behind City. The battle for the title is getting more crowded this season.
Today we have a day of upsets in Premier League with Manchester City having first defeat of this season and Luton having first win of this season after promotion and unpredictable Manchester United is also having fourth defeat of this season which is clearly indicating things are not good for them after beating Crystal Palace in EFL Cup now today they were completely unable to produce any goal which give them this another defeat Manchester City is having second consecutive defeat after losing against Newcastle Untied now they lost against Wolves.

Now they are heading for the two biggest challenges with first having RB Leipzig at Red Bull Arena on 5th October and after this Arsenal is waiting for them at Emirates Stadium with they already won first game of this season against them at the Wembley Stadium.
866  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the bull-run plan. on: September 30, 2023, 03:53:59 PM
Buy low, sell high is the ultimate strategy. Buy the Bitcoin when the price crashes ($15k to $20k) and sell when the price reaches ATH ($69k or above). And repeat the cycle.
Most investors do that, they buy when the market is down and sell when it goes up, but some tend to keep holding onto some of their assets even when the market reaches a new all-time high, maybe because they hope for a better price but that's not a wise thing to do, especially if the market starts coming down again.

Form profit, buy some more bitcoin when the price crashes after the pump, and invest the remaining in offline investments. Buy a property, Gold, Silver, Platinum, etc.
Making offline investments will only be possible if someone has made a very big investment and the profits they've earned are huge that they can use to buy a property or invest in Gold or Silver, but if the profit isn't that much, I think it's better if they buy more Bitcoin with it when the time is right.
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 30, 2023, 01:02:50 PM
Two warm up matches to be played today between India/England and Australia/Netherlands. Both games games delayed due to rain, Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati are venues for these games and both receiving rainfall today. From this we can conclude that ODI WC will also be affected by rain just like Asia cup was ruined by the rain.
It is very likely that this year's ICC World Cup matches will be hampered by rain and many matches are likely to be played in DLS mode. However, due to rain, some top teams are likely to lose points. Sub-Indian countries receive a lot of rain during this season and the cricket venues are always humid due to rain so any conditions can be faced during the matches.
However, the two warm-up matches scheduled for today are likely to be abandoned due to rain. However, so far there has been no toss in either of the two matches but there is a possibility that the toss will be abandoned.
Climate change with poor management from the BCCI is surely going to have big disappointment for the cricketing fans into this event because this was supposed to be held in November and December, but they have done few changes for their own sack, and now we are going to have big negative impact on this all event right now we have three matches called off due to rains and just two matches were able to completed and many more are going to have big disturbance due to rains which is surely not positive signal for the media rights holders as well.

Even nothing is sure about any team because right now we have six teams on same level with on game day which will be done good can go through for the top four, but I really love this format with all teams are going to face each other for having spot into last four.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: September 29, 2023, 08:46:39 PM
After that terrible start Brighton's odds for the title has changed significantly. They have dropped down to 4th biggest title contender from 2nd.  Grin  But that loss against AEK home really deserves to be evaluated like this. Who would have thought they would perform that badly in defense?

Leverkusen are second and Roma are third biggest favourites. Liverpool are the biggest title contender of course by far. But I wonder how much they will care about the Europa League. Their priority would be to fight for the Premier League title for sure.

Roma had better do really well in the Europa League because things haven't been going well in the Serie A so far.  Sad
I am also favoring Liverpool for the title in this season but still things will be changed in coming weeks because we will have eight teams from the Champions League which will join them for the next round and then surely situation will be different even right now Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen are teams to watch for the title with their performance and quality which is at the top of the game Roma which is having terrible time in Serie A doing good here and also have fair chance for the another final Liverpool is currently having good time under Jürgen Klopp which is trying to regain his best in this season, and now they are going to face Tottenham in Premier League game which will decide can they fight hard for the title or no in these both competitions.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 29, 2023, 07:10:14 PM
Would you believe that New Zealand were able to chase this 345 in the 44th over with only 5 wickets down? If they were batting first, they would have scored above 400+ runs. A big question mark on the bowlers for Pakistan who were considered one of the best in the world. Also by looking at both matches, the team chasing has won the match, meaning the wickets in India will favor the batsmen more than the bowlers.
I have no idea why some people think that Pakistan have some of the best bowlers in the world currently when it's clearly not true. The only great bowlers in their team are Afridi and Naseem Shah who got injured.

The true best bowlers in the world currently are from India(Mohammad Siraj, Ravi Ashwin etc), Australia(Hazlewood), Afghanistan(Rashid) etc.
Even I agree with your this partially, but you have to accept Shaheen Afridi also as one of the best bowler in white ball game, and he is game changer for his team as well with few hypes is also working for them due to media because most of the time in big games they fail to give their best which is also a true fact about them specially while they are playing against quality teams like Australia and India.

We have the good number of white ball bowlers right now those are giving their best recently in today game we have some good treatment from the Kiwis for them, and now they have to check their weakness for the future games as well because this time things are looking not easy for the bowlers on these batting pitches and with rain is also going to have big impact as well.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 29, 2023, 06:10:29 PM
In Ittihad match the score is still 0-0, they are got difficulty to win. This is a bad if they can only get one point, because the gap with their competitors will be closer. But there is still time for them to win, even though there are only a few minutes left. The match Al Nassr seems to be over, Ronaldo save the team.
In the end, ittihad jeddah could not win the match. The team shared the points in the match. With such a strong squad, it's unfortunate not to score any goals. I am not satisfied with Ittihad's performance in the match. They failed to perform well. The team has 66% ball possession in this match. But they made only 11 shots in 90 minutes. However, despite not winning this match, the team is at the top of the points table. But if Al Hilal or AL Ettifaq can win their next match, we won't see Ittihad Club at the top of the table. AL Hilal and Ettifaq have a chance to take the top spot in the table for the first time this season. Looking forward to see how these two teams perform in the next match.
This is big below for the defending champions and league leaders because now they can lose their spot with after few minutes we are going to have another big match Al Hilal going to host Al Shabad in case of win Al Hilal can take the top spot and things could be very interested in coming weeks because fight for the title is going to be more entertaining and Al Nassr is also increasing pressure on the top teams for having top spot right now they are at third spot with 18 points and tomorrow we will have another big game with Al Ahli going to host Al Ettifaq, so top teams are going to have narrow points difference and with this now in coming matches every point is going to be worthy for them, and they have to keep things on top level if they want to stay at the top ranks until end of this season which is surely not easy for them.
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 29, 2023, 05:05:59 PM
Compared to Luis Enrique and PSG, the Newcastle team and Eddie Howe are inexperienced on a platform like the Champions League. Experience is very important in a competitive platform like the Champions League. Still, it's good that the Newcastle team is performing as it is. I think they will play defensive strategy and try to secure 1 point from the match.

I forgot that Mbappe is going to miss this match. And if Mbappe misses this match, it will be very difficult for PSG to beat the Newcastle side. First of all I would say PSG attack is pretty weak except for Mbappe. The performances of Dembele, Asensio and Ramos have been erratic. On the other hand, Newcastle's defense is very strong. I wouldn't consider PSG as favorites if Mbappe is absent in this match.
I agree but now things are changing drastically before start of this season I was expecting not good about Newcastle United but after watching their performance against AC Milan now I have to change my view about Newcastle United because even they are inexperienced on this platform but still they have done good job and now have good performance against teams like AC Milan and Manchester City we can expect good from them against PSG as well because they are playing at home and having good quality players which can give them good stand.

As of now, it's official Mbappé is going to miss this match surely things are going to be not easy for them because this could be big below, and they have to manage things without him which is surely not easy specially without his presence mostly they fail to give their best specially while we have Newcastle United defence is one of the best right now in Premier League and this could be surely problem for the PSG as well.
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 28, 2023, 07:29:40 PM
Looking at the kind of match fixtures that lie ahead for Chelsea to play, I wonder if they will ever survive these games ahead of them,
The current state of Chelsea is in a critical condition that needs a Messiah to save them, hence with the poor state of the club, and with Pochettino as head coach, if they don't get a significant amount of points from these games and coupled with the depression that will follow suit after losing these games, I think they will hardly escape relegation this season.

After watching their schedule things are looking not easy for them because these all teams are having much better performance and quality as well which are helping them for staying above in league table, and they are still looking for better results into Premier League even many are feeling comfortable after their first win in EFL Cup, but this is not enough for turning into better and safe zone if they want to have better end of this season then surely they need to work on better chemistry between players which is currently not available.

Pochettino is surely glades with this victory, but he needs to be calm because they are having significant challenges in coming weeks which can bring them down in all aspects of the game, so feeling calm and better for the future is important right now.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 28, 2023, 06:22:35 PM
Ticket prices are very steep for major cricket events in the United States. So the organizers will be in profit, even if half of the stands are empty. Even during the Major League Cricket, the stadiums were mostly empty for a majority of the matches, but the organizers received a substantial gate collection, as tickets were prices anywhere from $30 and $98 (almost 5-10 times the ticket rates in South Asia). For matches involving sub-continental teams, there will be sizeable attendance. But I am not sure about those for SENA nations such as New Zealand and Australia.
Even this is first time experiment for them, but I have been believing this is going to be had good profitable for the ICC and media stakeholders because ticket price and media rights are going to give them good profit specially for the matches where we will have subcontinent teams because of their local peoples interest in this game.

Mostly SENA nations will not have luxury like subcontinent in this region but still this is going to be overall good for the all stakeholders because now we have the good number of peoples those are from subcontinent countries and their contribution is going to be vital for this event and all stakeholders.

Now here I want to mention one more thing in which matches we will have India these could be most profitable as others can face some low interest but Indians surely going to have big marginal edge.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 28, 2023, 11:28:40 AM
The goalkeepers and defenders of Las Palmas team are very defensive and strong which is why Real Madrid managed to score only two goals despite many attacks. Had the goalkeeper's performance not been good in this game then yesterday's match would have ended with a huge margin but only two goals. Real Madrid had the ball from the start of the game but in the middle of the game two attacks scored side by side but later Las Palmas had a total of 16 attacks with 4 on goal in no way for Las Palmas to succeed. Real Madrid players are a bit more experienced and stronger team due to which Real Madrid can win this match immediately today.
Las Palmas is currently at the 17th spot with 1 win and 2 draw which is surely not good but still they concede only six goals in their seven games which is surely impressive because their goalkeeper and defence is doing amazing stuff and not allowing to any team for destroying them Real Madrid is first team which score 2 goals against them with mostly they are losing by 1 - 0 with they are surely having the worst attack as well because scoring only two goals from seven games is surely not acceptable at this level.

Right now, we have some surprising states at the end as well, hopefully things will be clear in next few weeks with few teams will go through at better spots and Las Palmas which is having good team but lack of attackers conversation they are suffering also able to jump at better spot in league table.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: September 28, 2023, 06:06:54 AM
~snip~
Regret is always there. Even if you regret after you lose in gambling, it doesn't mean that you are not a true gambler. Regret comes from the people who really hope to win, like hoping to win a jackpot once in a while to be used on their needs. The feeling of regret must be coming from thoughts that the money should be spent in a different way instead of losing it in gambling.
Regret is a horrible feeling, but at the end of the day there will be times where a gambler will have to go through it at some point.

It seems to be something inevitable in casinos.
Not if the gambler has been responsible since the day they started gambling. A person regrets a decision that they made which caused them something valuable, in gambling, it's money obviously, but if you have been gambling responsibly since the beginning and never lost a very large amount in gambling and has always been in your limit regarding your time and money that you've used in gambling, you will barely have anything to be regretful about.

I know and understand that most gamblers must have experienced significant losses at some point during their gambling career, but there will surely be some people who are free from this and they have never wagered more than they could afford to lose and then regretted it when they've lost it all.
876  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: September 27, 2023, 08:49:21 PM
Wait, was the OP edited? Because I'm quite surprised that, with a number of discussions about No KYC casinos, I finally found one named 'NO KYC.' But can the casino really stand by their promise?

I presume that when they say 'no KYC,' KYC should not be implemented no matter what. I would now like to know about the legality of a certain casino because I know that regulated casinos do not allow no KYC practices.
Any casino or gambling platforms that indicates no kyc should then not require it because it has already been stayed, but we also have to confirm this by reading it on their ToS if it also reflected, some may not talked about no kyc requirements and yet still make demands on that later, lastly, we have to understand the context that no kyc is being stated, some may refer to this that kyc is not required to create an account, this doesn't mean that they are not a kyc gambling platform, they will still request for kyc after your registration, except they specifically noted that they are entirely a no KYC casino.
A few months back, a casino that was also available on this forum was actually having a clear statement on their homepage that they don't require KYC from cryptocurrency gamblers, but then users were complaining that they are asking for KYC verification at the time of withdrawal which caused a lot of backlash at the casino and they basically deserved it because if they had that statement for the public to see, they should have stood by it practically.

So, it's true that if a platform makes an announcement that they are a no-KYC casino, they need to keep their promise and don't ask anyone for KYC no matter how small or large their deposits and withdrawals are because it is no excuse to ask for KYC for large withdrawals and then say you are a no-KYC casino.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 27, 2023, 08:19:32 PM
A player not reading the platform's Terms and Condition will often ends up in misunderstanding. Gamblers should know that every casino have their own terms and conditions so assuming that the tos of a casino is the same as the other casinos may end up in a problem.  This may result in the delay of withdrawal of funds to loss of funds of the gambler like being unable to withdraw because he has to provide KYC, or his account is banned due to the illegal use of VPN.
There is no point of misunderstanding anything if they don't even understand things in the first place. When you are getting into a contract and don't even read the rules or the statements involved, you basically don't understand anything about the contract except for the things that you might have heard about it from others.

A gambler should always verify his assumptions through reading the casinos ToS and through inquiries of things stated on the terms of service to verify something that the gambler does not understand.
I don't think someone needs to verify any information that they get from the terms and conditions unless they find something that actually contradicts another statement made by the casino somewhere else.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 26, 2023, 03:15:20 PM
Real madrid will face la palmas soon.

Here's the odds

Real madrid's odds were pretty small when it will face la palmas in upcoming match. I think real madrid can win this game easily even though real was struggling in the last game against atletico madrid.
Real madrid was rarely lost against palmas. The game between real madrid vs palmas were always consistently producing 3 goals or more than it.

It makes me feel so confidence to take over 2.5 for this match caused by real madrid is still in the best form this season even without vini. Real madrid may not be using full squad caused by it has busy schedules.
Girona will become the next opponent for real madrid.

Real madrid's schedule is very busy this week.
La Palmas is having very poor performance on road in their last three games of this season, and they are not able to score any goal which is clearly indicating they are not going to create any problem for the Real Madrid which is going to regroup themselves after having crashing defeat against Atlético Madrid in last game.

Now their schedule is very tough for next ten games with four games and going to visit Girona and Napoli which are not easy games for them in these circumstances while they are also having injuries issues as well.

For the betting purpose most chances we will have the best option is Real Madrid to win and over 2.5 because they will try to have aggressive approach in this game against La Palmas before going to face Girona in next away game.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn an apartment in a bear market on: September 26, 2023, 10:51:45 AM
I got to say that’s gonna be way big leap if you achieve that goal. I think starting with just 500 bucks a month gonna take lot of time for you. The volatility will be hitting hard all the time and all those cyclic changes will make you think twice whether to continue your quest or not. I am not demotivating you but putting huge stakes on Altcoins isn’t right idea. I am thinking you should add more funds in bitcoin and also contribute more than 500 bucks per month. Consider as if you are paying EMI for loan or something but only thing is you will be saving for the good. With what you saving and let us say 25% hiked every year then also it will take you 17 years period. This is also after keeping your saving plan fixed and yearly hikes fixed. It could be more.
What he's thinking is not unrealistic, to be honest, based on what we've seen in the past during bull runs, it's achievable, but it's not easy for sure, and there is obviously no guarantee that all his investments will work and bring him multiple folds of profit during the bull run and that is the only way he can actually get his target achieved, otherwise, he may get some profit on top of his total investment but he won't actually reach as high as he wants to reach.

Logically, though some new altcoins might be able to do that, expecting a very high return from an already-established altcoin is not good because they might not be able to go that high during the bull run. One should expect maybe a 4x to 6x return on altcoins that have relatively low prices in general.
880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gives the poor an Opportunity. on: September 24, 2023, 07:12:01 PM
Who is the poor?

Can we say that somebody who has some extra savings, albeit small, is poor? Or should we exclude them from such category because, in the first place, he/she has an amount to invest?

I'm certainly not rich, but sometimes I feel a tinge of embarrassment whenever I classify myself as poor because I know that there are people out there who cannot even eat 3 times a day, and yet I have so much more.

My point is that Bitcoin might not actually give the poor an opportunity, at least in this discussion's context.
Maybe those who don't eat 3 times a day are on a diet? XD but I know some are just poor. There are people who are rich but won't admit it. I don't know if they are only humble or afraid that someone will do a harm on them. For those people who like you said are not rich (don't have a mansion and luxurious cars) but only has a small savings. They are still poor although not in an extreme level.

I think we can also call them as a middle-class person. No matter what your status are, Bitcoin is created for all. It gives us an opportunity to make more money or to experience on what it looks like to be free from these centralized shits around us.
