I will say that Fade's staking like a champ!

I'm also thinking that simply staking is getting higher payouts than running a masternode.  I could be wrong on that.  How many coins are people getting each day running a masternode?

I think i have hit a cap of what i can get done for tonight.  Its pretty late here.   Op has been somewhat updated for the new layout.  More to come tomorrow.

Thanks for the update. Wallet's syncing well. That's a big deal it seems anymore lol
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTX] Bitcoin- The neXt generation on: May 26, 2015, 01:56:19 AM
I'm glad BitcoinTalk is back again.

I hate to say this, but I agree.  Cryptocointalk kinda blows as a substitute.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COMMUNITY TAKEOVER [MACD] X13 PoW+PoS NEW THREAD on: May 17, 2015, 04:24:45 AM
does the wallet still work/what version of the wallet/nodes should i have if I want it to work?

Not sure.  Not even sure developers are working on this anymore.  Been months since I've heard anything.  Pretty much a ghost town at this point.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTX] Bitcoin- The neXt generation (RELAUNCH) on: May 16, 2015, 10:42:10 PM
Very well, no one wrote the words, I'll write them:

"The best time to buy is when there's blood in the streets." (Rockefeller)

That applies sometimes Smiley basically BTX is in this situation because off Bittrex refusing to add BTX again, as a lot of investors are buying coins only on Bittrex and not on c-cex.

Indeed  Smiley But we all know Bittrex is just waiting for BTX to show something tangible. They don't want the shame of adding a scam twice. Therefore, they want to see we are serious.

We will SHOW THEM how serious we are with the next wallet !

Can't wait! Smiley

Ya something needs to happen because coin's now officially at 0.00 BTC volume on C-CEX.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [COV] Coven [3% PoS/33k Supply][Indistinguishability Obfuscator/Anno Feat] on: May 16, 2015, 03:27:17 PM
OK, buying back in. One of these takeovers has to work, right? Smiley

There is always Marbles if people are looking for more of them, haha...

Oh,,yeah I remember marbles, I was optimistic when I gave it 7-10 days  Grin

At least Cov has some Strong Hands

I was a big holder in COV early on, bought back in just a little and will see where it goes. I sure have plenty of marbles for a bounty if people are looking to save coins that get free promos though. Anyway, go COV!!!

Lol well maybe now there's a competent dev who won't push the wrong commit to github, will fix any wallet issues that come up, and who can deliver on the roadmap.

So in short, what's the latest on this coin? I've been away for a while. Lots of clones I see. Is that affecting price? How many Masternodes now and what kind of payouts are people getting with their Masternodes? Any news on the marketplace?
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTX] Bitcoin- The neXt generation (RELAUNCH) on: May 16, 2015, 03:48:35 AM
Besides fixing a wallet... something which shouldn't have needed to be done in the first place... what is going to make this coin go up?
All right, I didn't want to influence you, therefore I kept my vision for myself till now.

Here's  how I see BTX's future:

1) Stable wallet

2) 5% Lucky Stake

3) Masternodes

4) InstantX

Masternodes permits to generate BTXs to gamble without losing your initial holdings.

InstantX permits to gamble fast.

Lucky Stake gives more BTX to a lucky winner that can then gamble his earnings.

First step for BTX is therefore to become the best gambling coin because of its features. We want to get accepted by casinos and poker sites.

A lot of BTC's  volume is generated by gambling sites.

After gambling acceptance, BTX should expand its horizons.

What do you think ?

Lucky block sound fun. Masternodes are good but nothing new. What is InstantX?

Most important to me is a dev that is serious and going to stick around. Unfortunately that's never really something that can be proven until it is done.

So wallet has been broken this whole time? And that's why I couldn't sync this whole time???  Why was this never admitted to before?

wow dude do you not read at all?? there is page after page of people talking about it and how to fix it

Yep.  And I was one of those people who read page after page after page, wasting my time trying things that people suggested, and yet my wallet still doesn't sync.  I'm appreciative that people tried to fix my wallet sync issues, but I'm sorry... Wallet's a piece of shit, and is broken, AND adding nodes, deleting everything in %appdata% except for .conf and wallet.dat, and relaunching wallet never fixed the issue.  Really hoping that any new code AT ALL fixes this intermittent syncing issue.  That would be really nice.

Where do I find the graviton.conf?

You have to create it.

Create it and then put it into the Graviton folder in %appdata% on Windows.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRAV] Graviton SHA, dPOS, Decentralized Slack/IRC, Gravitator Nodes on: May 15, 2015, 04:56:12 PM
Coin all but dead. Only 60 Btc in trades.

Yep.  it's a gonna lol  Might as well dump.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRAV] Graviton SHA, dPOS, Decentralized Slack/IRC, Gravitator Nodes on: May 15, 2015, 01:26:44 AM
A little unsure why this coin hasn't skyrocketed when some Masternodes are making almost $20/day? Am I right about that?
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTX] Bitcoin- The neXt generation (RELAUNCH) on: May 14, 2015, 05:12:11 PM
Bittrex has been adding all kind of coins, coins with even no volume, and keep ignoring BTX. Anyway, what i notice is that coins that hit bittrex are just having a big pump in the beginning and then just move lower and lower. Maybe better try to get it on Cryptsy, still a bigger exchange then Bittrex.

I agree. Bittrex has been the new Mintpal for a while. What about Poloniex?

Ugh... Why people! Just remember that when you have people who are for the most part anonymous who are offering a service to help you with something, IN THE WORLD OF CRYPTO, it's too good to be true. Period. This... This right here... Is why we can't have nice things.

Missing lucky stakes?

According to my analysis, the following blocks should have generated lucky stakes if the input coins were > 50k, 100k, or 300k;

5959
5965
5950
5865
5754
5800
5727
5730

5960

5844
5971
5794

The first group, in red, all had inputs large enough but generated normal stakes.  The one in the middle is the only one that lucky staked.  The third group all had inputs too small.

There's probably a simple explanation, something obvious I'm just not seeing but is anybody able to explain why, based on the code in github, the blocks in red did not produce lucky stakes?

PM this to dev.

In the spirit of openness can he not respond here?

To be honest I dumped my 400k when I discovered this morning that it had staked one of those blocks in red and got 2.xx BTX.  I wish you all luck with it but there have just been too many issues with this coin for me to keep the faith.  It's not just BTX, that was the final straw though... I dumped every altcoin I had this morning, too many scams and no real world adoption and I've got too much else to concentrate on.

Boy IDK. In still staking my 236,000, but wallet keeps going out of sync, and I've tried everything, including CryptoClub's suggestion. Never had so many problems with keeping a wallet in sync, and now lucky staking might not be working? Will keep holding but not sure for how much longer.

To my knowledge, there is 0 issue with the coin. It's just the way PoS works. Next wallet may improve that. If you doubt, please dump. We will gladly buy your cheap coins.

What we are creating here is greatly larger in scope than Lucky Blocks or Masternodes. If you cannot wait a few weeks to see how far we are planning to go, then too bad for you.

Seriously give me a break.  I won't be dumping because why at this point?  Unless I want to get 10% back on my "investment".  Simply stating that I've never seen a wallet with so many syncing issues, and let me tell you that in the past year that I've been buying coins, I've put BTC into some seriously fucked up coins, but hey... at least their wallet's stayed in sync lol  Can't understand why my wallet won't stay in sync, even though I've tried everything.  Who knows.  Maybe it's my internet connection, not sure.  Although every other coin up to this point worked fine.  Now wallet says "not staking because wallet is offline."  Great.  Oh well.

so what's the plan for this coin?

Instamine, wait for Trex, dump on newbz, bail.
You forgot next steps. Change ticker and coin name in code, new start next week, every couple of coins change the algo.

Every new line in code needs new coin. LOL.

Ya, and I think everybody would love to know what makes this coin different from the other 100 Crave clones. Oh, and you can't say algo or coin supply.  And you can't say wait for roadmap only to have it have specifics like stealth send, masternodes, and anonymity. Probably if you have those in the roadmap you should take them out because honestly, at this point, it's a joke. With all that being said, hoping... Really hoping... For something sort of original from dev.

How many coins does it take to get a masternode?

When BTX will be added to Bittrex again?

I believe it's time for BTX to return to Bittrex so I contacted them too.

I tweeted. People should just stake in the meantime and let the new team do their thing.

I'm just worried that for them they'll think it's more of a liability now.  Lots of people got screwed the first time around and felt that Trex was liable.  Not sure that they'll want to take that risk again.  But hey, it's worth a shot.  I guess if they could verify the code this time around that would be a start.
