Any reason why repeated attempts to Poloneix to withdraw XDN out of the GUI wallet version are failing?  I am using 0.9.1 on win7 64bit.

I never forget to attach the transaction ID with the transaction address.

Previous withdrawals to poloneix have worked.

Can you see your withdrawals transactions in duckNote blockchain?

Nope.  It's as if the transaction completely fails.  My coin amount remains unchanged in the wallet, and poloniex gets no record of any kind of transaction.

Nothing comes up in the GUI wallet history, or on poloniex's history.

Any wallet works with blockchain. If your transaction is not in blockchain wallet can`t see it. Do you try to deposit or withdraw duckNote?

I am attempting to deposit (transfer) coins from the ducknote GUI wallet into poloniex.  I am providing my poloneix ducknote wallet address as well as transaction ID to the proper locations in the GUI wallet.

It seems like the transaction isn't even happening.

Try lower amounts of XDN. First try to deposit your account with small amounts, like 10 XDN with 0.01 XDN fee.

Sorry if this has been explained before. If I want to use the GUI wallet can I import my command line wallet to it or do I have to send the coins to the GUI wallet?

Currently you can`t, but we are working on such a feature. Soon we will announce it.
Also we are working on lots of small features, like mentioned above.
But soon - in next 5-10 days we will announce duckNote feature, that will blow your mind. We will lift XDN to the next level D<.
Stay tuned.

Is XDN joining the SuperNET launch?  Shocked

No. features we are talking about is not related to any other project, than duckNote.
duckNote only features.

Has anyone else had an issue with a wallet where the password you are "sure" is correct doesn't work? I had an old wallet from early on, which I lost access to when i exited and ran it again. This obviously looks like a forgotten password, but I was certain I knew what it was.

I have started trying to brute-force it, but thought I would ask around anyway. At this pace, with 30 of my mining machines running a process, it will take about 1.5 months to try all of the a-z0-9 options up to 6 characters. I don't even know if that will cover it, so if anyone knows of a GPU-based brute-forcer please PM me. Or a way to run it not through simplewallet like the bitcoin brute-force options of extracting the hash and trying to generate a match. With the rise of XDN value it's worth my spending some time to work it out. Also, I am just stubborn like that.

Make sure you use the same -bit version as you used initially, when wallet was created.

E.G.
If you used -32 bit version - use it again now
If you used -64 bit version - use it again now

I just downloaded the wallet (good job by the way)

It seems that I'm stuck at block #122 for about an hour, anyone have similar issues?
nope

This is what I'm seeing (I'm on a mac)

I've deleted the wallet and reinstalled it (losing private keys with coins on them in the process  Undecided)

What is your MAC version? Do you use latest 0.91 beta?
Always backup .wallet or .keys file.

Try
Code:
Connections->Disconnect; Connections->Connect to remote duckNoted

Also you can try "heavy" mode. Download your own duckNoted. launch it, wait for blockchain sync. Launch wallet and connect to local duckNoted via Connections menu.

Ok so I have disconnected and connected again to local duckNoted but it's been taking quite a while..

It sounds like there's a "lite" version and a "heavy" version.. would that be local connection and remote connection?

1. Connect to remote duckNoted - it is a default "light" version. In that case you have connection to remote duckNoted. No local blockchain storage.
2. Connect to local duckNoted - it is a "heavy" version. In that case you should have duckNoted launched with default configuration and synchronized with blockchain (blockchain stored on your local PC).  Than you can connect your duckNoteWallet to local duckNoted.

That issue with 122 block stacking is reported by 2 MAC users, we are exploring problem.

when you delete the wallet never delete the .keys file.
just delete the .wallet or .bin and resync.

You should not delete .wallet. If so, backup it, to recover.

.wallet - contains private keys+transactions history
.keys - only private keys

apparently we cant send coins between exchanges?

whats the deal with that?  Huh

No payment id built into the exchange on the withdraw side.

...Are you not giving out prizes for Tweets to the exchanges now?

I was running a twitter campaign for XMR, although that's done now.

Who decided that tx between exchanges isnt valid? devs or the exchanges?

DUCKNOTE IS NOT FUNGIBLE IF IT CANT BE SENT BETWEEN EXCHANGES

SMH

YOU CAN SENT DUCKNOTE FROM EXCHANGE TO EXCHANGE IF BOTH USE PAYMENT ID.

I am still missing 11542971.232576 XDN that I withdrew from Poloniex. Is it possible that they just need to re-sync there wallets or do they still have to update their duckNote? I am starting to get worried. I first contacted Poloniex support five days ago after waiting for 3+ days.    Huh

I am missing 11542971.232576 XDN which was withdrawn from Poloniex:

XDN   11542971.232576   ddeJ9mZX52wZG6fTChaMGM97gbKfiVp7rhLL2i5enxkqQPC18FQuxX1Nm4RpurDNnEjGfv9DsMxMKbM Po4tr4cYz233rkF83X   2014-08-24 15:53:39   COMPLETE: 96df49435e395bdab0836b8a534a174e9f40fb784d1ecc9388133af66f1f3088

I was waiting for it to confirm like other people were however it now seems to be missing completely from the blockchain. It was in the blockchain for over three days while I patiently waited for a confirmation.

96df49435e395bdab0836b8a534a174e9f40fb784d1ecc9388133af66f1f3088  Hash not found

Hi
If the hash is not found in the blockchain then i believe your transaction was rejected by blockchain and returned to Poloniex wallet.
Write a ticket to support of Poloniex. They know that there where a problems with xdn withdrawals. Give them all details about transaction: date, time, tx hash, amount so they know that this tx is yours and it should be credited to your account.
You don't have to do anything with your wallet (resyncing and such magic) because the transaction was made from poloniex wallet and your ducks was returned there.

You should ask poloniex to refresh their wallet. duckNote devs soon will announce simplewallet features for exchanges and services. Also it is unclear when dooes Polonies mark transaction as "COMPLETE".

All exchanges and services should update their duckNote to the latest github version.
Also exchanges and services should refresh their wallets.
@makyoo we would never call you troll,
That statement was about @tanghouzhu - @Hotmetal dialogue.
All code updates was made almost a week ago, and that was explained several times, dialogues like mentioned above is nothing, but fud.
Here we try to discuss issues and features of duckNote, but that forum seems very rude to duckNote developers, soon they will move their activity.
Updates soon. Stay tuned.
