861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 12, 2023, 07:03:10 AM
The main purpose for KYC to decrease money laundering. It has no other purpose than it. Don't expect casino to use your identity. The casino just wanna see people play spending their money as much as possible in the game provided by that casino itself.

Whatever the reason for KYC, I have to agree with you on the part that the casino will not use our identity for something inappropriate especially if we talked about a reputable and popular casino. These casinos are prioritizing all the things they needed to comply as part of being a legitimate site. There is no way these casinos will take advantage of any KYC-related stuff.

Adding to that, the casinos even want more users to welcome on their platform that's why as much as possible they don't want to give their users a hassle way of registering accounts and asking a bunch of identity-related things. But since the verification process is part of the regulation, they have no choice but to follow.

Fortunately, there are still lots of crypto-gambling sites that do not mandate KYC so better enjoy those while it lasts.
KYC information for illegal activities is old school now, if KYC theft can cause a big damage we would have heard about bad news from every angle and the warning of taking KYC information very seriously would have filled everywhere including the News channel on TV, I don't believe that criminals can use any KYC theft to fake identity without knowing that's fake by the authority, the world is advancing in technology, even criminals that undergo face surgery to evade getting caught still end up getting apprehended.

The right method with KYC verification is to use your identity on trusted online casino, this is safer compared to casinos that have bad reputation, so do some research at first before passing KYC on any gambling platform.
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great new youtube documentary about btctalk member Jimmy Zhong (mb300sd) on: August 10, 2023, 07:06:32 AM
I've know about his story before coming on this forum, and there is nothing I learned from this than to be a good person, stay away from any illegal activities that could ruin your future for you, crime pays only for some certain period, if you continue karma will come.to visit your ass and you will feel it's wrath, this man is a greedy person, I could have quit a long time ago, instead he felt like he has found a new home in crime, in whatever you are doing, always be a good person, because what goes around always find it's way back to you.
863  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet verification stuck for more than 1 week on: August 09, 2023, 11:19:28 AM
Why cloudbet though? I can't find their announcement thread on this forum, now it will be very hard for members on here to help you with anything, because if the casino is available on here we can drop messages in their ANn thread and peacefully wait for replies, this is why I don't like online casinos that have no account on this forum, it's because of days like this where something will go wrong with your deposits and withdrawal.

Now OP, the only option you have left is patience, you need to wait it out, and when the right time comes and they still haven't fix your problem you will then need to message them again, this is the max you can do, next time be picky and never send assets to any online casinos that you are still yet to pass it's verification.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 09, 2023, 09:29:40 AM
Not generally for everyone, some people run as fast as they could when they lose money from any investment for the first time.

That's why we have some people till date saying Bitcoin is a scam, they lost their Bitcoin because of their foolishness yet they put the blame on Bitcoin.

Most people are like this, but some only get encourages after one success, Now when it comes to gambling, it depends on where it all begins.

If you see a friend of yours making money through gambling, you can become addicted automatically because you've seen someone who is making money through gambling, I remember when I entered into crypto, I never saw someone making live changing money until people dropped proof or screenshots of what their Bitcoin would have worth if they haven't sold. It encourages me.

If you know nothing about gambling and you have no one around you that's into gambling, your fear rate will be very high, if you lose money once you don't look back, you will run, and the chances are high.
865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: think before investing on: August 09, 2023, 08:57:04 AM
When someone exchange Fiat for Bitcoin on any exchange its called trading, he trade his Fiat for Bitcoin, this doesn't make him a trader, he can withdraw after getting his Bitcoin and hold, there is no risk in doing this and anyone who knows nothing about trading can do this, it still doesn't mean they are doing it wrong.

What is stealing peoples opportunity in crypto space is time, the time to buy and the time to sell, we are impatient souls, who always want something to happen very quickly and that's why many people's dreams were never fulfilled.

Master Sebas.tian, you can't get Bitcoin without Fiat, you need Fiat first even if you decide that you will never buy Bitcoin, to mine Bitcoin you still need Fiat to buy the Asic miners, which one is Bitcoin investment is different from Fiat investment?

Everyone knows their worth, if millionaires are also selling properties to acquire Bitcoin I don't think that those doing it on this forum are stupid, just because OP friend lost all the money doesn't mean using properties to buy Bitcoin is a bad idea.
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: August 09, 2023, 07:54:24 AM
It is foolish to think of gambling as a source of income because the chances of success are very low. Its results never bring anything good.

Hey it is not to say that some bettors are not benefiting from gambling because if there is patronage, that means people still have benefit derived from it but the issue is to so rely on it for a livelihood which is the focus. There are casinos here that have been around for years and that means they are having traffic and lots of customers to be able to sustain the business, run ads and pay signature participants including payment of direct staff. You can only gamble responsibly by having personal control not to over gamble.

Some players may be benefiting from gambling, they may see it as income but it shouldn't be seen that way, because anyone who is inexperienced and wants to see gambling as significant income will be totally deluded into thinking that if something like this can be done, it can be done. Let him start in the game and do well, but when he starts to play poorly and runs out of money, how will he do then? who is going to go to, the casino does not have any type of Protection for players who run out of money and that is something that only each one can control, that is why seeing the casino as an important income is a very bad Thought , if they can win some Players , but we don't know how much money they can spend without Affecting their Lives.

I had a bad experience once again with my last week's signature rewards on stake, where I decide to stake some games with my balance,  and at first, I won a couple of those games,  but as the excitement get more intended,  I decided not to take a break and planned out a way that I could be taking one or two games on daily basis to increase my total earning on a steady basis.  But my guess was wrong because in the following day when I placed the first bet,  I lost and the second bet also lost and at that time I have already lost all the money I won in the previous day.

And instead of quitting at this point,  I decided to go further by staking more out of my remaining balance and again I lost by then it's done to me that gambling result is unpredictable and it doesn't means because your luck shines today that it will continue like that.

That is why gambling can't be taken as a steady source of income because winning in gambling is not a steady thing at some point your losing ratio is higher than winning because the house edge will always prevail.
Trust me I've been there too, it's not about your luck shinning per day my dear, in the gambling world it's about minutes of luck, if you are on the winning lane for a minute please quit, and come back some other day.

You can start winning in few second and more disasters awaits you after some minutes, it has happened to me, and after I learnt some lessons I have decide to always quit after every loses or hits.

Assuming I plan to use twenty dollars for gambling today and I gamble all the twenty dollars away, I will stand up and exit the casino, till another day that I can afford another twenty dollar or less.

But if I win with 5$ right now, though I have 20$ in mind to use for gambling, I will still quit, after every wins you get excited and that's where you will lose what you have made and also your gambling capital.
867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Clawback could be possible with AI GPT? on: August 09, 2023, 06:36:38 AM
The AI GPT wasn't designed for tracing a transaction or someone's Bitcoin and it can't also able to reverse or get the Bitcoin back to your wallet. For AI GPT it is an illegal activity.
I tried it on ChatGPT but it said they can't do that I don't know if GPT4 could do that.

Only law enforcement or cyber authority can able to help you with your problem they have a tool to trace them but if they already mixed the coins it would be hard for local law or cyber authority to find this scammer.
You are right that AI GPT was not created for tracing a transaction but there is an AI that's capable of making a transaction by just ordering it to do so, it can tell you your balance and also make some transactions for you, it can also hunt for airdrops for you.

Shocking? I like the part where you said AI aren't designed for this and one actually does this better, I can't remember the name of the AI but I remember the project that this AI belongs to, the name is Delysium with ticket AGI, you can use coinmarketcap to go to the website and try the AI out, it's crazily capable.

Whenever an innovation makes it way out in the world there will always be a better one coming up sooner or later, AI technology is astonishing.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 08, 2023, 08:06:14 AM
I don't get why demo slots games exists though, why? Because it's just a click botton something, there is nothing to learn using the demo like trading, also if you have no idea about gambling and you see slots demo for the first-time, you will be bombard with satisfying results, in between few rounds you will hit unbelievable amount of money, it will be fool of you to think that the real mode will bring such rewards to you.

I've never use demo account before, I am wondering what I would have done if I started going trying out demos for the first time, maybe it will make me have the impossible dream? I mean this could add more fire to your addiction, demo accounts are not necessarily when a game is all about luck, there is skills to apply anywhere.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really not for everyone? on: August 08, 2023, 07:25:53 AM
Bitcoin is made for everyone, but some people will still not accept it and there is no where in the Bitcoin white paper that says that Bitcoin is for everyone including those that won't accept it, you need to accept Bitcoin to be part of the innovation, if you want to use Bitcoin it's ready made for someone like you, if not then you are free to walk away.

Each individual needs to decide on their own if they want Bitcoin as part of their investments or a means of escaping inflation, or just the freedom through decentralization that Bitcoin is offering, it's a matter of choice and not by force.

It's a weird world we living in today, some people still don't want to be in control of their own money, they prefer the centralized authority, they prefer the banks and others, they love their government more, and their governments decision is final for their lives.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 08, 2023, 06:51:22 AM
Almost all the crypto gambling companies are accepting KYC. It is difficult to see a truly non kyf casino.
Many people get scammed in the process of searching for a non kyc gambling.
Gradually everyone is buying into the KYC ideology apart from highly privacy people.
It is not only in the hands of the gambling companies to determine if they will go for kyf or not, but is also determined by the governments who licenced them to operate with certain conditions.
There are still a couple of casinos that don't require any form of KYC and only enforce it when dealing with big amounts or when they find something suspicious. Examples are Crypto.Games, Bitcasino, Fairlay etc.

Silver lining here is that non-KYC casinos will always exist though they will almost always be less popular when compared to KYC casinos.
You are speaking facts, there are some online casinos that are non-KYC platforms, but it's better for users to be prepared, those who moved from non-KYC casinos into KYC requirements KYC turned around in a day, the same thing can happen from these online casinos.

Rather than thinking such day will never come, and you comfortably gamble on such platforms, there might come a day where you will be asked for KYC verification and if you have some money trapped on the platform at the time, you will be left with two choices, either you leave your money and safe yourself from passing the KYC verification or you find means to submit your details and get your funds out.
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 07, 2023, 10:50:24 AM
When it comes to gambling I have my own weaknesses and I figured them out because I don't want to make costly mistakes, I fooled myself that I couldn't make any big amount of money from gambling unlike investing money in assets, so I understand that gambling is the highest risk of them all, so I have managed to beat the taste of possible higher hits from gambling so I only try my luck with small money every time, never have I used more than my target for gambling.

872  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why don't land-based casinos have an online version? on: August 07, 2023, 09:05:56 AM
I know some online casinos that started their journey offline, but as Time Goes On the online casino income is not enticing for them to keep the business online Alive so they abandon the online project and focus more on the offline casino and I think this depends on how they manage their businesses and the end results will vary so it is normal if a project progresses online and performs very bad offline or vice versa, they only need to try it out and see what happens, you can't predict the outcome of a business until you try it out.

Even if you have a working product it doesn't mean that the world will welcome the product and your company will start progressing, there are cases where the world abandoned products and the business folds up, it is normal.

Any business can flourish online and perform worse offline, or performs worse online and more progressive offline.
873  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather start/grow a business from scratch or buy an existing business? on: August 07, 2023, 08:08:54 AM
I will be very careful with existing business because it is not that safe compared to starting a business from scratch by yourself if you plan to buy a new car you have nothing to worry about because the car is brand new, it will come new engine, new body  and new everything compared to buying a used car, if you are buying a used car you will have to check the engine very well and also ensure that the car has never been involved in an accident and that will determine how much you will be willing to pay for such car, it's the same with an already established business, there are things you will need to consider first, the location, the stat of the business reputation, past records and activities.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 07, 2023, 07:02:23 AM
There is no real decentralized online gambling platform, many people do not understand that once your Bitcoin leaves your wallet and is sent out to any online casino it's not more secured, every casinos are centralized and even if one doesn't ask you for KYC verification it still doesn't make such gambling platform decentralized.

I think NO KYC requirements from new online casinos are a strategy of finding many customers as soon as possible, they know it will attract some gamblers who don't like passing KYC for some reasons, but once they grow better and becoming more popular they will give out bad news that they have no choice but to compulsory KYC verifications.

If you are using a NO KYC casino right now, enjoy it while it last but I can promise you that things aren't going to stay the same for long.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: August 06, 2023, 10:12:20 AM
Chasing gambling bonuses is one of the ways that you can lose money faster when gambling that is why I don't engage or try to chase any bonuses from casinos and also I still prefer using my normal weekly amount to take risks with gambling no matter the promises from any online casinos, they can't be trusted always.

I strongly advise against chasing ranks too on any casinos because it is easier for that to get into your head and start doing the opposite of keeping you safe or keeping you in a safe state when gambling.

Winning offers and bonuses from casinos is not that easy like some people are making it look like, many use all they can to get higher ranks but they are still not getting the right result till date, not everyone who ventures on a bonuses and ranks journey will be a winner.
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Appropriate percentage of income for gambling on: August 06, 2023, 09:02:23 AM
I won't dare gamble with 5% of my income for gambling every week, that's a lot in a month's time, I would rather invest the money into Bitcoin as this is a guaranteed investment over gambling, I am a businesswoman and I have my own fashion home, my gambling every week depends on how much I make in a week, so I don't have a fixed budget for gambling, but I always make sure that 2% of my money I make per week will go into gambling, it's not a must, if sales aren't looking good for that week I won't gamble, it's not as if I am even making a lot from gambling anyways.

It's safe to say that my gambling decision depends on how much I will make in the week
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 06, 2023, 08:04:33 AM
Even with $600000, the fear of going broke again will still never leave my side because yes $600000 is a big amount of money at the same time you are still not far from going broke because people like living the extravagant life just to make other people be aware that they are now successful.

Instead of doing that why not invest almost 70 to 80% of that money back into bitcoin or something else because with $600000 it is easier to become a millionaire in dollar after few years later you can turn that $600000 into two million dollars if you know what you are doing just my own piece of advice.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 06, 2023, 07:17:41 AM
This board has a lot of topic that comprises with the negativity about gambling addiction. Let’s change it for now to support the casino we are promoting here.

Gambling is important to the society because it provides huge taxes that government use on hospitals, infrastructure and other projects to help its citizens. Monacco country is popular with their casino but they don't allow its citizen to play. This shows how important gambling in their country because they still allowed to operate it even though they don't want citizens to be involved.

In our country, Our lottery use the proceeds to donate on the health center that provides free health service to our citizens.

Even if gambling commonly view as negative by commoner. Many didn't notice how big is the contribution of gambling to the society.

What is the benefits of gambling to your society?
This is the exact reason why United States of America allow many casinos to run their business with no problem Casino is one of the ways that United States of America has used to grown so much in the past years, there are many revenue coming from casinos through taxes and other things like I have heard from a cousin of mine living in that country.

I believe that you are correct about this OP but honestly the government is benefiting from casinos but not the gamblers themselves so your point is looking like so if I'm losing through gambling I shouldn't feel that bad because the government is somehow benefiting from casinos like my losses is turning into favour for the government and it's country? That doesn't feel good because I don't give a hell about the government but myself, who cares? Gamblers just want to make money but justifying gambling as been beneficial to the country is nonsense in the face of gamblers.

Bitcoin today would have been allowed and legally accepted by the government if somehow they're benefiting out of Bitcoin investment do you know reason why bitcoin have slowdown in progression is because the government are not benefiting from bitcoin itself just think and look at it and try to compare it with what is happening with casinos, you will know where I am coming from.
879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beginners, you don't need Bitcoin first on: August 05, 2023, 10:31:33 AM

Before investing in bitcoin, all of the guiding principles should be taken into account. As you mentioned, the first is financial stability. The second is knowledge, which will prevent you from being taken advantage of during the introduction process. The third is to take security seriously and know how to activate good security measures.  Returning to financial stability, you stated that if you don't have other sources of income, you will use your investment as a repository for an emergency fund, which is bad for business.  and  since investing in bitcoin is a long time business patience is another factor to be considered.
All the principles, financial stability, security measures, and knowledge are good factors to consider;

What about the risk involved?

In my own understanding, I think risk taking is also an important factor to be considered before embarking on a bitcoin investment process because of the techniques behind it, and the market instability.
Risk taking is part of the knowledge that's needed to be acquired about Bitcoin investment so this person already included what you are trying to say, I will like to add more by saying, extra income source helps your investment more than not having an income, on the risk side you will feel comfortable buying Bitcoin and you will be able to take more risks if you have others ways to survive.

Job is very important or other ways that can bring in money for you and that's why I believe this advice from OP is precise, many people likes to get involved with Bitcoin and they are motivated to invest in Bitcoin, but with money they aren't ready to lose, and that's because they don't have source of income, so if Bitcoin doesn't pump in a year they get tired of holding very quick and the thought of maybe selling and move on with their lives will set in.

Source of income will help you takes your investment journey for years to come without the need to worry about the money you used to invest.
880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin was stolen from Atomic wallet on the 3rd of June on: August 05, 2023, 09:18:10 AM
Atomic Wallet owners aren't poor. I've read the hackers stole $35M but they're rich enough to cover losses. If they pay it'll be expected they'll pay after every hack. They can't stop ppl writing about the hack but they'll ban users from talking about it on their social media.

Users life savings were stolen so they should've supported them. Did they discover how their wallets were hacked?
I thought nothing was done about the hack from the team side? How did you get this information? Can you drop a link because I know a guy who lost assets to the hack using Atomic wallet and there is nothing done yet, maybe they are paying those affected on time phrase?

This is not a problem from users but from the developers, I think we need to be careful with the crypto wallet we plan to use, it's why I use wallets from bigger players in the crypto space, if a hack happens from their side they will be responsible for it and pay those affected back, but not the same with new crypto wallet companies.
