I think that its hard to achieve ROI with these cloud mining sites and it is likely better to put your coins to work elsewhere. A lot of cloud mining sites tend to be somewhat scammy.

And if you want to be even safer, use a hardware wallet such as Ledger Nano S in combination with Electrum. If you do this, then Electrum won't even have access to your private keys.

google/nsa/cia/mi6/dgse, none of these are 100% secured, even pentagon isn't, this is why they issued a bounty of 40k$, and they said that a lot of security breaches was found. Now bitdice is a gambling website, they issued a lot of efforts in the security of the platform, but it has breaches for sure. Now who will be smart enough to find "and" to exploit them.
Well you stated your idea, now you can do and exploit them. Every site really have a vulnerable part which may crumble down, though that why they are enhancing their securities. You don't need to exploit them really, you just need to trust them. by exploit i mean using the break to harm the platform or the users. I won't, because i can't, i am not a professional hacker, i just know some security tricks, and as far as i can see, they are respecting the basic security principles advised by many programers. And this, just a few websites do it. But you can be sure that as soon as find something i will report it, you won't even see it in the forum unless they don't correct it. Yep, this is the best method to go about handling any issues such as this and you will likely also receive a bounty for reporting it depending on the issue.

Yeah, I wouldn't say its an addiction but a new excitement. Bitcoin is quite exciting when you are new to it and there are plenty of things to learn to fulfill your curiosity. Enjoy and have fun!

Interesting, I've never heard of a site requiring "residential" IPs. I wonder how they determine what is and isn't residential. I suppose they probably just whitelist the netblocks of certain companies that are known to host residential customers, eh?

You shouldn't need to worry about your security as BitDice also does email verification for new signins which also helps protects you.
It is always a good idea to change your passwords after an incident like this regardless.
And why we need to have some passwords again when their security is the best? Since this site has the best security so may be i want to ask about 2FA on your site, after we put 2FA on our security does this still hackable? Because i saw there are many sites out there that always ask to make an unique password and 2FA. But why we really need those if on this site has a best security? Enabling 2FA is to improve the security level and to increase the difficulty in hacking. If password alone is used the account can be hacked with some techniques, but when 2FA is enabled one need to hack the email or other similar site to enter the account. This gives hacking difficulty and increase the decrease the chance of getting hacked. Yeah, it is always wise to use 2FA on sites that let you use it. It may be a bit more inconvenient to log in but it really helps secure your account as even if your password was stolen, an attacker wouldn't be able to log onto your account. After seeing this CloudBleed attack, its definitely a good time to make sure you are using 2FA.

It seems that when I run oclvanitygen with GPUs, it is also using CPU power to mine. Is there some way to disable CPU usage when using oclvanitygen with GPUs?
it has to use a little cpu to verify the key.. its back like 100 pages or so.. but if your cpu is at 100% than you have something wrong.. it shouldnt be that much. Yeah I can understand a little bit of CPU but it is maxing it out at 100% (overclocked 2500k) so I assumed it is also trying to look for keys on the CPU? Or does it really take that much CPU to verify the keys? What video card do you use? Using a Nvidia 980gtx card to do the searches. Is it just processing so many keys that its taking a lot of CPU power to keep up?

If you are restoring the wallet from the seed words, I don't think you should need to mess with the Electrum files in this folder. You can just create a new wallet and restore from seed and it should do the rest. You would only need to do this to restore contacts and labels if these are something you need.

Sounds like something about this transaction caused it to be rejected. If the fee was way too low, this could be the reason. Be sure to use appropriate fees to help avoid these type of issues. Unfortunately, we aren't able to see more details about the transaction since it was already rejected.
I do apologize because I know this same issue comes up often, but I am honestly confused.
My transaction has been rebroadcast this morning. I was hoping the unconfirmed transaction would time-out and the funds be available to spend again. When will it stop broadcasting and be available to spend again? Does it make any difference if I leave Electrum offline for a few days?
Transaction ID: c39ec1d328f92a7ed64bedff5029393ddca6b68caa3f68004a2905b1e35ff889
Thanks for all your help.
Its possible that leaving Electrum offline will prevent it from rebroadcasting. If you need to spend the funds quickly, you could attempt to restore your seed into a new wallet and respend those coins with a higher fee.
Yeah, both the Spend From and Freeze options were moved to the Coins tab and you can now choose individual inputs from within addresses as well. To Freeze, you click on an address and to spend, you can click an address or an individual input.
That error usually happens when you are attempting to spend funds that have already been sent I believe.
You'll likely need to wait for your unconfirmed transactions to confirm or fall of the network. You may be able to attempt to restore your wallet using the seed to a new wallet to see if this allows you to spend the coins.
0.0005btc/kb isn't actually a high fee for the current congestion of the network either. Fees for fast confirms have been between 0.0016-0.0018/kb lately. https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ is a good site to see what good fees are currently and I also recommend using Dynamic Fees in Electrum if you aren't already.
Blockchain is just one node and thus other nodes may have not rejected the transaction. I believe that the coins show back up in your wallet after some time, but you could always try restoring your seed to a new wallet if you need to use them now.
