861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: February 06, 2019, 09:26:07 PM
So you have being wearing a signature for more that ten weeks. Each week you made more than 15 post on different thread on this forum. And just when you done with the campaign you have been asked to keep the signature for three more weeks while wait for stakes to be calculated. After stakes are calculated, it takes more than 3+ weeks for tokens to arrive in your wallet. and a month for the token to go on exchange. On exchange, all your token is worth for your hard work is just less than $50.
How do you feel?
How will you react?

I smile like Hide-the-pain-Harold  Grin
Seriously, this is very painful, I know that feeling Smiley
But it could be even worse. The project may appear to be pure scam and you will get nothing in this case.
862  Other / Archival / Re: What's your all time favorite cryptocoin? on: February 05, 2019, 06:06:17 PM
Up to now, what is your #1 favorite cryptocoin, and why?

If you have a hard time to choose just one, please feel free to post your top 3.

Personally, Bitcoin has always had and will always have a very special place for being the first to get me into the space.

On top of that I like and support several coins of which at the moment my favorite is Tezos (XTZ).

I like some coins that have passive income mechanism, they have a great potential to grow fast on a bull market. NEO, Decred, Miracle Tele. I think, I'll some more of these after another huge market dump Smiley
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin loan on: February 05, 2019, 06:00:58 PM
In moment like this that people dwell more on HODLING more because they don't want to sell out their acquired coin as it won't pay them well, don't you think if there is a bitcoin loan obtainable, guys won't like to obtain loan until the price is favourable?

Don't quite understand what the point of these crypto-backed loans is... They give you loan and take your crypto as security deposit. Ok, but why not to sell your crypto and use the same money without borrowing anything? Smiley
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cryptocurrencies rise or fall on: February 05, 2019, 05:55:21 PM
Will cryptocurrencies continue their downfall or enter a trend reversal? What is your chart study and identified key indicator.

People who are trying to learn about crypto just by watching the graphs are like a bunch of savages watching some kind of a dozer and thinking it's a beast Smiley
Technical analysis is an illusion, wake up and look deeper Smiley
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Distribution of tokens in installments on: February 04, 2019, 04:16:22 PM
at this time I receive the distribution of tokens for one of the projects in stages, the distribution is done every month at 10% of the number of tokens that I get, what is the purpose of all this?
is this one way to stabilize prices?

Yeah, it is. Most of the people are trying to sell their tokens as fast as they can now, when the market is so dumped. Silly behaviour but everybody is frightened and this leads to dramatic price dumps after almost every ICO now. So, devs have to do something with this situation.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: February 04, 2019, 03:50:53 PM
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

Most of the people are too greedy to understand that. They are investing money to get rich fast. And now we see some frustrated expectations here, when people invested more cash than they should and now they have no money to buy food Smiley
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: February 03, 2019, 02:28:01 PM
I think the main factor of ICO success is the marketing and good presentation of the project. You can sell everything with proper advertisement Smiley
You will need: a serious looking website and whitepaper, some famous people in team and respected advisors, good media coverage, properly made bounty campaign with good managers and maybe some sort of virus marketing or fake awesome news to create hype around the project. That's it, people will bring you money Smiley
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello all, I have some USDT but... on: February 03, 2019, 01:57:48 PM
Hello all,

I have some USDT but don't want to keep it on exchange, any suggestion for me to keep it safe?

I heard that there are some cryptocurrency hardware wallets, do they support USDT?

Thank you for your help!

I would suggest you to use Exodus wallet. But as for me - holding USDT on 3-4 main exchanges is a good idea also. And maybe you should convert some of your Tether to some other stable coins for safety reasons.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Power of Decision on: February 02, 2019, 01:56:30 PM
How long will you waver between two opinions. Sometimes opinions might even be more than two.
I am not saying you should not ask for people's opinion, but that there are some things you should decide on your own, based on your observation or research.

Take for instance, you want to buy a coin and you are asking people for their opinion on it. I will not deceive you, you will only be tod what will benefit them.

Everyone is looking for how the coin he is holding will pump, so he will do what will bring him profit.

Do your research on the coin of your choice
Search for updates
Go through their social media groups, handles or channels and see what is happening. That can give you a clue to what you should do.

Avoid being deceived by multiple opinions and do make the decision that suits you.

You are right, but from the other hand, such opinions form the market if we look at this situation more carefully Smiley
Most of the coins worth nothing, maybe all of them. Everything that gives them some value is just people's opinion. Their belief that this coin or that one is worthy and potentially profitable.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOP With The ICO Garbage on: February 02, 2019, 01:52:16 PM
There's way to many ICO's that are literally trash. Idk how people invest in some of these projects. It's honestly a joke... The Bittorrent ICO would have been a good one to invest in just because of the hype behind it. If the token goes to $0 in a few months it would still be worth it because people are tripling their investment within a few days (probably not worth buying right now, but do your own research). Those type of ICO's are 1 in 1,000,000. The majority of the ICO's people are investing in are pure garbage. They have no utilitarian uses and they have weak fan-bases. I can't comprehend why people don't wait until POST ICO release, THEN analyze the platform and decide whether or not to invest. Doesn't this sound like the best logical solution? Sometimes even quality ICO's dump and you can pick some up for pennies on the dollar "fire sale".

This was a quality ICO, don't believe me? Look at the chart, strong buy action with low sell pressure and you could have picked some up for dirt cheap and doubled your money within days - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/BTCAUD

This seems reasonable on a bear market but you should remember that in 2017 almost every shitcoin was able to shoot after ICO and people were investing in every crappy crowdsale for that reason. Now, the situation has changed and it's time to think before doing something like that Smiley
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Alt teams have abondened their projects! on: February 01, 2019, 12:22:10 PM
It is a Fact!
The bitches have the/ your money and have no intent to develop their projects: A registered office with a few tweets that are are BS.
Cardano is about the only project that is genuine!
Good luck if you believe your project is genuine!

Not only Cardano, there are many good projects whose teams continue development even now, when the market is totally abandoned. But, yeah, most of the projects, especially the small ones, couldn't withstand this dump and simply died.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALL Initial Coin Offerings are Trash on: February 01, 2019, 12:18:30 PM
There's a lot of posts in this section "ICOs will come back", "Some ICOs are scams", "Should I do ICOs". These all contain the implication that Initial Coin Offerings are fine and dandy.

What type of information do you need to know that Initial Coin Offerings are trash the majority of the time? 80% of ICOs in 2017 were scams. To put that into respective, that's 4 out of every 5. The odds are terrible. Going by the rules of probability, you're going to be apart of the four of five. Why wouldn't you be?

The ideas I've seen with Initial Coin Offerings are just as bad. Why do these companies need $80 million in the first place? Let's be realistic, most things don't need to be on the blockchain. Satoshi didn't need to do an Initial Coin Offering to make Bitcoin into a bustling success. He started off putting in his own money. What do ICOs actually have to bring to the table?

The people that are making these threads with a positive implication are probably apart of the scams, or they're risking their money with the odds stacked entirely against them.

It's possible to have original ideas offered for free. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin. Some people are simply blinded by their greed and short-term to try speculate on the worthless. No wonder bubbles are so rampant within this ecosystem.

Most of the ICOs are garbage, that's true. But the art of investing is just it - ability to choose the projects that will shoot and make you rich Smiley
We had some nice examples in 2017 when some ICO investments lead people to good profits.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to promote an ICO on: January 31, 2019, 08:19:11 PM
Now, when the market is down and overwhelmed with different ICOs Ann thread is like putting the goods on the showcase. This is better than nothing but clearly not enough Smiley You will need bounty campaign, some paid listings, celebrities maybe... You must create a good hype around your project. Maybe some fake news and virus marketing will help you with this Smiley
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: January 31, 2019, 08:15:11 PM
I just wonder sometimes why hackers would not want to use their time and effort they spend to scam others on doing something meaningful and legit, to earn something worthwhile for themselves, except to rip others of their hard earned money.
Most times, what they even take illegally from others at the end is not used for anything meaningful.
Scammers should desist from this act, because karma is real.
Work and don't be lazy.

Scammers chose to be scammers - that's the point. They are doing the best they can do to earn money. I think people usually go there and become scammers only if they feel they are good at this. Don't think permanent scammers think about karma Smiley
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: January 30, 2019, 02:39:33 PM
For me it has been nearly everyday once for years now.  Grin

Depends on my spare time Smiley Once a day or two. Or when I think about selling something to buy something to eat  Grin
There is no need of checking coinmarketcap now, if you don't want to get upset  Grin
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it ok to lock your bounty for 4 months on: January 30, 2019, 02:34:59 PM
Ok I received my liker coins this month but unfortunately, I would have to wait for 4 months or the month of May before they let me trade their token, do you think this is ok they never mentioned that they are going to lock for 4 months during the bounty period, what's your thoughts on this?

This is their thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5061763

This doesn't look good, that's for sure. They should have warned all the participants before the start of the campaign. But maybe this will be better for every participant - selling now is useless, I would hold everything till the next bull run.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not yet an end for crypto on: January 30, 2019, 02:28:50 PM
There is a saying that the road to success is not always smooth. This is just exactly what crypto inves tment portrays. In the business of crypto, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. The fact that there is a very high level of dip in crypto market currently is not enough reason to conclude that an end has come to crypto.I know that the bearish market situation at present  in the crypto world would  make many crypto lovers to be having a second thought of relinquishing their ardent commitment to crypto investment since no tangible profit is forthcoming but honestly, that is not the best option. What crypto is going through now is just a bend and not the end . In a short while from now, things will amend for better .This is not yet the end for crypto but rather a bend for something better.

Any specific dates? Smiley People are tired of waiting for this bright cryptofuture Smiley
In fact many ICO teams are facing financial problems now and they may abandon their projects before this bull run comes.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Trust Blockchain ? on: January 29, 2019, 03:59:49 PM
According To expect they always say blockchain can never  be hacked and your information can never be stolen .. But day in day out Hacker are hacking  crypto exchanges to steal people asset , ETH Suspended hard Fork because  of security  reason . HitBTC and Cryptopia are understand maintenance  because of hacker .  Are   they Using block-chain technology  to  deceive Us ?...

Blockchain is just a new technology. It's too raw still. So, it's obvious that some breaks and hackings will happen in the nearest years. This will happen often until developers will learn on their mistakes and improve their security systems enough to withstand all these attacks.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency Happiness for everyone on: January 29, 2019, 03:56:24 PM
Bitcoin and Other Altcoins became more and more cheaper, I read a new that Bitcoin and Other Altcoins will still continue to dumb maybe until 1k usd / Bitcoin by this year, I didnt ever read about good new for crypto in this year like many other expert said. I not an Expert on prediction but I see Ethereum and other Altcoins except Bitcoin has a real great future in my opinion. And today crypto currency continues their negative movement, I want to hear only good news for this year, and please dont make a negative comment, why? Believe me I seen a lots and today on my thread I just wanna hear a good news

Hope Bitcoin and Other Altcoins "dumbing" will stop at last and we will see some clever moving here Smiley
Crypto is purely speculative now, why do you think the news affect anything on this market? Whales manipulation is the main factor. News are just catalyst here...
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting on: January 29, 2019, 03:50:42 PM
Well, I would add Spirit of Creativity here Smiley

You should always look for some new ways to earn here, at the bounty market. This sphere is constantly changing and if you are not advancing actively, you will lose your income soon. Knowledge is power. Knowledge and creativity. Bounty hunting is like running up on a escalator moving down fast. It's hard but very profitable sometimes Smiley
