861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ~BTC in Medical Industry on: September 12, 2018, 04:23:50 AM
Is it possible someday that Medical Hospitals accept BTC as a payment for Hospital bills and other fees??

From my opinion, someday btc is used not only to pay medical fee in the hospital, but to pay another simple things in the daily life.
If not btc, maybe some other altcoins with the fast blocktime and cheap transactions fee. Because cryptocurrency is a peer to peer currency,
it should be easy and fast to use.
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Survey Shows 80% Of Americans Have Heard Of Bitcoin on: September 12, 2018, 03:54:30 AM
Not surprising though, because bitcoin has been created in 2009, it is the first cryptocurrency.
When you ask in my country about bitcoin, im sure that you will get answer yes mostly.
Bitcoin popularity is very high, i think it is the most well known crypto in the world, thats why the value of bitcoin is the highest.
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: September 12, 2018, 01:38:02 AM
After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.

But if we think btc is a digital gold, the price should be like gold. Gold price is very stable, compare with bitcoin is far from stable.
We don't know the future yet, if mass peoples are using bitcoin as their currency, then indeed it will be like a digital gold.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto advice for newbie on: September 11, 2018, 03:54:03 PM
What can be the best advice for a newbie due to the present market status on learning or investing?

For newbie, the present market status seems like a bad condition because the value of most crypto is on the bottom.
But no need to worry, because the volatility of crypto is high, this is a quite normal in crypto.
You need just buying a coin which you believe without concerning about the value.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of Ethereum? on: September 11, 2018, 03:48:55 PM
Ethereum is getting popular day by day. People participating in ICOs they use ETH a lot. Ethereum is a smart contract.

But what does Ethereum do better that any other alt?

ETH was getting popular but not nowadays because the price has falling too much.
Many holders sold their ETH to buy other coins, thats why the value of ETH not rising now.
ETH is no better than other coin, but it has smart contract.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam ICO with Fake team is lot more than you can imagine ! on: September 11, 2018, 03:41:57 PM
Have you ever see an ICO going on and see the team listed on their site have no social media link like twitter linkedin etc? Sometimes yeah that some people don't use social media that much but you still curious who tf this guy and why I trust him with my hard earned money for some dream project. So you guys check the team image by search the image in google or Yandex or any other services and found out they just take other people image from google, what you guys will do?

If you just wonder how many scam ICO with a fake team out there, the answer is to many to handle.
You guys can go to scam accusation board here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 and see how many reports made for a fake team running an ICO. And that only ICO we proved to be fake and I'm sure there lot more ICO going on with the fake team, you just can reverse the image edit the color or just picture random person on the street and put it in your website to make it though.

So just another advice from me, don't put your money to some random project without proper search about the team and the project itself, knowledge is a power. Just because your friend or family invest that doesn't mean you have to invest too.

Even with a real photo of them, they even still can scam you and get your money later.
There must be a concrete proof about the existence of the company, otherwise it can be fabricated.
Faking the team just one of the method they use, other things are important too.
867  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese Investor bought 10,000 bitcoin during the dip! on: September 10, 2018, 02:46:47 AM
https://www.ccn.com/chinese-angel-investor-gathers-10000-bitcoins-during-bear-q1-2018/
There was one Chinese investor who is now trending after he bought 10k bitcoin during the Q1 bear or during the bearish movement at the first quarter of the year. According to the article he was Cai Wensheng the founder of a selfie-app called Meitu which is very popular in China. This man is a good sign that bitcoin really is becoming more attractive to big enterpreneurs across the globe.

I think they made huge mistake by bought bitcoin at $10k price, now the price has gone to $6k++
Unless they intend to hold their btc for long, they won't get any returns of their money.
But they bought btc in huge amount maybe because they knew something about that we didn't know.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 10, 2018, 02:30:58 AM
I engaged with young people and layman people in my communities on the quest of exposing them to cryptocurrency. During the period I discovered that they find It so difficult to understand the concepts, they are so much acquainted with fiat currency and traditional ways of making payment transactions.
I will be impress If I can get a valuable ways and methods in making them understand what cryptocurrency is all about and engage them actively.

For some peoples, it maybe looks difficult to understand, but for me, you just need to reading more information about crypto.
You must take your time to learn about something new, cryptocurrency is one of it. You can simply explain them cryptocurrency is a peer to peer currency, there is no middleman or 3rd party, and the database is decentralized.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still a good idea to participate in ICOs? on: September 09, 2018, 02:44:08 PM
With the number of scam and/or unsuccessful ICOs, do you still recommend investing in one or two? Why should or shouldn't I?

Actually we still can find some ICO with a great and real project, but it will be difficult because many ICO's have been created.
Therefore, a great amount of time is required to doing some research of the ICO we want to take a part for invest on.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scams on: September 09, 2018, 02:31:48 PM
Is there a possibility of a scam if my tokens have no value for 2 months? I already have the tokens for 2.5 months and they keep telling us that listing is a laborious thing to do. Is that a normal thing to happen when your coin doesn't have any value for 2.5 months now?

Yes, it has high possibility that your coin is a scam one. The coin should have value even in this bear market if the project is real.
Usually they will buyback the token if it being sold at cheap price to ensure their investors and attract many peoples to their coin.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The SHADY side of the Crypto Industry on: September 08, 2018, 03:59:11 PM
I just had this article written, which covers the Tether scam, as well as the fake news cartel that sites like CoinTelegraph, and CCN, among dozens of others are a part of.

On top of that I also included how the latest ICO scams are set up.

Hope you like it and feel free to share of course:

https://www.cryptonewsinc.com/the-shady-side-of-the-crypto-industry/

Instead only put a link in your thread, why didn't you explain it to us ?
I dont know why tether is considered as a scam coin if it backed by a real USD ?
You cannot believe some sources easily, a research about the case is required to not deciding wrong.
872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons behind Bitcoin/Cryptomarket fall??? on: September 08, 2018, 03:47:50 PM
Well, if you ask about the reason behind its falling, many factors have take a part in the falling of crypto market.
Some peoples with huge amount of coins could have selling their coins in a large amount, in other words, dumped it.
Plus the ETF waiting approval in SEC decision maybe one of the factors too.
873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Experience with Bitcoin Fees? on: September 08, 2018, 01:28:22 AM
I just did a transaction where I paid 1 cent in fees and it confirmed on the next block. Not only that but the next block came within half a minute of me doing my transaction.

The whole thing was almost implausibly good.

Generally, I always worry about fees but they never amounted to much in my experience of bitcoin. I don't do anything special. I use the latest stable version of bitcoin core and let it calculate the fees for me, I just use default settings.

According to bitinfocharts the average is $1, but my transaction of 160 something bytes only took 0.01 cents.

According to https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ I should have paid 4 satoshis per byte, amounting to 0.04 cents.

Bitcoin fee is indeed quite high, but i think it is because the price of bitcoin is already high.
The other altcoins are indeed have a cheaper fee, for example Litecoin. It have very cheap transaction fee.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find the right coins to buy on: September 07, 2018, 04:02:50 PM
Hello, I have been trading for some months now. I have had some losses but now I recovered and I have the same I started with. The hardest part for me is finding the right coins to buy. I have been around signals telegram groups and tried with some scanners, but havent had much success. What would you recommend?

Maybe we can find a good coin to buy when we have enough information about the coin project.
To obtain the information, some researches and findings will be required.
Find the red flags of the project as much as possible so you can find a reason to not buying the coin.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: September 07, 2018, 03:57:41 PM
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

If you said that, we can conclude that ICO rating is not a guarantee of a good projects.
Any ICO companies can get 5 stars rating on the rating website as long as they pay for it. This will getting worse for investors.
876  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: September 06, 2018, 02:14:32 AM
If you take an assessment, a lot of citizens are not yet informative what is cryptocurrency is....like bitcoin and other altcoins. One proof is that others can be deceived by swindlers because of lack of knowledge regarding crypto currencies. . They invest with the wrong people because of considering in unfounded information and hearsays.
Educating people regarding crypto will not make them to mislead. Educators can teach about crypto inside school especially in economic subject/s because it has a big role nowadays.
As Tom Emmer stated, “ People tend to fear what they don’t know. If people sailing the oceans at the time of Columbus had believed the world is flat, we wouldn’t have had the great discoveries of the New World.”

It is very important to educating yourself with the basic knowledge about it before you enter the cryptocurrency world.
But i think it still not required to teach about cryptocurrency in the school. But maybe crypto in some major of college or university will be good.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will privacy and merchant adoption fuel the next price rise? on: September 06, 2018, 01:56:22 AM
Everybody is talking about ETFs, but I don't believe that they will be the fuel for the next price rise. As Bitcoin moves further towards being a store of wealth, and merchant adoption increases as secondary services like the lightning network stabilise, they seem more likely to trigger the increase in value. The price of Bitcoin seems to be cyclic, and to add a zero to the price every two years. I think we have missed the chance in the current cycle, but the one due in the summer of next year looks to be on target. Will the current enhancements arrive in time to fuel the next parabolic price increase?

I hope the price of cryptocurrency will really rising in the near time, because currently it have a downtrend drastically.
ETF maybe not the cause of crypto falling price, but it could be used by some manipulators to dump their coins at the right moment.
But peoples still use bitcoin and cryptocurrency in their transactions, so crypto will rise back eventually.
878  Economy / Speculation / Re: What strategy we should take when Bitcoin price fall on: September 06, 2018, 01:42:00 AM
Now a days we sometimes seeing the price of Bitcoin falling along with others also falling.
At that time if I have Bitcoin then what should I do ?
Should I sell or hold?

I think you should sell your coin now because it seems like going to falling more. You can see in the market now, the price is falling too great.
If you are not planning to hold your coins for long time, you should sell now, but do not selling if you can hold your coins for long time.
Since March, crypto has going down , maybe 2018 is not the year of cryptocurrency.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment or free? on: September 05, 2018, 03:39:35 AM
I see the crypto market growing more and more with the appearance of more and more coin and projects. Every day there are dozens to hundreds of new projects being established. Most of them aim to call for investment to develop the project but besides that many projects do not call for capital but only distribute their token free through Airdrop programs and bounty. This leads to competition and attracts different users. Do you think free or investment projects will last longer?

I think they just only want to create more awareness with the amount of massive participants and supporters of their projects.
Most of peoples loves airdrop, it will attract peoples to spread the word about their company.
Usually, this kind of company already have capital funds to run their project, but need more public awareness.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 usd enough to start trading ? on: September 05, 2018, 03:11:28 AM
I have 110 $ ...witch crypto is best to start trading with a small amount as 100 $ actually i'm in etherium ... i see a verry small progress .. is there another crypto more profitable and faster with 100 $ ?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I don't think trading requiring huge amount of money, $110 is enough to start trading for newcomer.
You may trading in a small amount to analyze the crypto market first, because crypto is different from stocks.
Ethereum ? i think it is good to buy because the price still very low than other altcoins.
