Not to be negative, but class actions are kind of a US thing. Some other countries use them, but not all. First thing you need to do is figure out which jurisdiction you would pursue this in (NZ I'm assuming), and find out if such a thing is even possible there.
the owner of bitcoinica lives in Cali... if thing do not progress soon i think his info should be more well known... I actually read about a class action suit initiated in New Zealand against a FOREX exchange broker...

It would be nice if they gave us some info... Or let us know they have not run... The limit to file legal charges in NZ I think is 40 days. Anyone know more about this?
I would say file the charges. I wonder how much money was in Bitconica at the time it shut down. The NZ department I mentioned earlier only does investigations on fraud that causes more than $2 million (I am guessing NZD) from investors.

I'm very interested in this concept, but like anything, it needs to be developed before people will come to use it. I suspect there IS a demand for this.
If you build it, we will come!
The problem with prediction markets is the market maker. If it is automated like the one that is on the GLBSE prediction market now then it will eventually lose money. That model is only used by places that don't use real money.

Great, now all I need is a little spare time to whip together a nice chart... *sigh* Where's my spare time?! I know, I wanted to do this myself but I don't have the time either yet.

Good news, got the new dividend API to work for me. I will update in a few hours. I need to parse the data a little differently than before.
I see no mention of dividends on the api info page. Care to share? I was told it was cool: to get dividends call: /api/dividends/asset/ticker_symbol for actively traded assets go to: /api/market/assets

When will this occur, I will have to change the names in some of the previous data I have collected.

Dividend returns for 2012-05-12 to 2012-05-18 has been calculated. Link to last week's dividend returns has been put in the history.

I see no mention of dividends on the api info page. Care to share? I sent GLBSE asking about the dividend information for their API and I was told they were working on it then. Since it is not on the page I am reluctant to announce it for GLBSE as I don't have any affiliation with the service. I did ask them if I could share that information. Until I get a reply back from them I do have a link in the OP to download a csv file of all the dividends sent out since GLBSE 2.0 was initiated.

Wow I am so confused where topics go. Since it is about GLBSE I thought it would be best here.

You're right. Still might be oversight though. I'll pm Nefario.
Maybe the dividends will be returned in another way. The last API only released the last 10 dividends so a way to return all the history would work better in the long run for people.

I'd like to see someone make the capsule a long dryer/washer combo tube. After you check out, have the thing lock, partially fill with water and soap, and launder, dry, and fluff everything inside As for Louisville, that city is generally dead except for the Kentucky Derby season. I would suggest Pittsburgh. It's growing into a MAJOR convention destination, especially since it already has a huge convention center, and is not strangled by unions like many other cities. Also, some conventions there have stereotypicaly broke attendees, like furries (Anthrocon) and gun-toting rednecks (NRA). Louisville is a piece of history. The Kentucky Derby Is Decadent and Depraved

I would get a copy but I don't buy physical magazines anymore. I am sure there will be a digital edition.

Hopefully it's just some sort of update bug. I think this thread is the most valuable in this subforum.
I don't think it is a bug, on the GLBSE API info page there is no list of dividends anymore.

How about something on the site that lets users know what new features are added or which were removed.

Bad news. I was trying to update this today and I was not getting the full list. I went back and checked my dividend data and it was stopping at: 2012-05-13 17:19:05 2000 1800000 TEEK.B I did notice that us.glbse.com was not resolving so I switched the url to only glbse.com but I still was not getting any more dividend returns. Then I checked TYGRR-BANK as I know they return dividends this week and all I got was a NULL return. It seems GLBSE removed the dividend returns from their API. So until something that returns dividends is added back then this will be put on hold.

If you're under 50 I would suggest no Roth. I look at Argentina and actually think that could happen in the US. When they run out of money they'll be looking to take it from somewhere.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Gold is cheap now.
They will confiscate the gold before they do the Roths.

Does anyone know what trade occurred between 01:15:31 and 01:49:12 UTC on Fri, 18 May 2012 on GLBSE?
Twitter only returned a "t".
