Yesterday's NBA MOTD cashed as the Sixers ended the match with a win and comfortably hit the over with 137 points.

Today's MOTD went down early and I would've taken them if my coins weren't stuck in the exchange because the MOTD is all about the Celtics HT/FT win @1.70 against the Knicks. The Celtics are playing at home and the main reason I recommend it is that the odds on other bookies are shifting between 1.41 to 1.45 and it all points to the Celtics to win this dominantly.

Edit: Celtics MOTD somehow lost due to the Celtics' sluggish start and I guess i'm lucky that I wasn't able to catch it in time. 😅
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luck and skill, which is more important for gambling success? on: November 13, 2023, 04:00:17 AM
So I am tempted to inquire if skill is all that is needed to be successful in gambling or luck. Whichever be the option, which of them is the most important factor for gambling success?
My pick is the same as the majority, which is luck. When you've placed enough bets, you'll realize how crucial luck can be, and that factor doesn't always come your way. Luck is that important because you can't gain it similarly to gambling skills, where you could spend enough time to reach a certain skill level. Skills are still a factor in a gambler's success, but overall, it won't get you that far in gambling when most types of gambling depend on luck, including the ones that require more skill than the rest.

Welcome to the league Hhampuz and good luck on your road to promotion.  Wink

@ralle1 : I guess we are sharing a point each huh. Goodluck mate on your next round, I got lucky against you though especially with that Chelsea - City question. I was pretty sure that we should on the same brain wave length there on this question, could have been 3 point for you but oh well  Smiley
You too, best of luck on the next round. I guess that's what happens when I get zoned out while answering. Anyway, i'm still glad we split a point in the end because my initial expectation for this round was a loss after locking some of my answers without much thought into it.  Cheesy

Next round with national teams.... i dont like that. But i will try my best.
I'm also not a fan of the qualification questions, but on the bright side, the choices aren't that tricky.

Another early Sunday game in Germany which begins in about an hour between the Indianapolis Colts going up against the New England Patriots.
That Pats match was a field goal fiesta. Both sides could only make it within the field goal range, but at least the Colts got their fifth win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Also, the Houston Texans got a solid upset against the Bengals, and the 49ers finally broke their three-game losing streak after beating the Jags earlier.

For the SNF match between the Jets and Raiders, I got a small one on the Jets only because I think their defense will probably make enough space and give more time for Wilson to cook.

865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A tip for staying resposible while gambling. on: November 13, 2023, 12:02:47 AM
While gambling some people gamble with small amounts which is not very important for them, but for those who are new to gambling and not able to control themselves or play with something reasonable amount.
So I have a tip for them you can stick a real paper money note in front of your monitor which will remind you that money is hard to earn and play responsibly or don't play with big amounts.
the note will remind every time that how you earned that money, and if you are controlled and this tip is not very important for you them you can ignore it, but i found this helpful.
Having bills placed near you sounds like a good suggestion, but still, it might not be as helpful when gamblers can quickly get immersed through playing casino games. I sometimes have my wallet beside me while playing but it doesn't serve as the best reminder, unlike looking at my losses through my betting history. To me, it's easy to ignore something that's even in front of you once you're hooked on an activity like gambling. If reminders could help gamblers control themselves, they might be better off looking for an alternative that'll help them get their attention.

@ralle14 : we are getting to the moment of truth huh, starting off with either Aspinal or Pavlovich to win. I hope to win a point from this otherwise the other two points would only means to get a draw against you. The pressure is all on me right now, I never would have expected that one point would cost me this much pressure lol  Roll Eyes
I can relate to that since i've been trailing multiple times during the first season, but still, it's the early rounds and you have enough room for recovery.  Wink

869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: November 10, 2023, 09:05:35 PM
It appears the GG squad is staying together after they've made the confirmation through their Twitter post and Dyrachyo's hint was only to bait us.  Tongue

Yup, we're on that opinion and the same for thinking that "like" they're going to dominate to their region but just as in the past. There have been teams that are from that region thinking that they will dominate. So going on with some other news, we've got some more.
On top of that, Azure Ray might be getting a downgrade as i've been seeing hints on Reddit about the three veterans(Somnus, Chalice, and Fy) planning to take a break.

IIRC, Insania has hinted that their new offlaner has got a lot of viewers but I can't remember if he has mentioned if that guy is specific from a region like EU. Anyway, this seems to be a good replacement for zai as he takes away from the scene indefinitely. This basically means that Tundra Esports has officially no roster for now so, it's out or rebuild.
Afaik, he mentioned from the CIS region and I thought it was DM or a promising CIS player from one of the EEU teams.

It seems that entire GG team is disbanding after all and latest news are that : Quinn and Dyrachyo might join Tundra Esports.
Maybe Topson will be moved to inactive later and maybe it's their way to mislead the rumors about them getting the whole GG roster.  Wink

Also, 33 is officially joining Team Liquid seems pretty good when his playstyle is similar to Zai.

Moving on, Blacklist International has already announced its Dota 2 roster.
Their roster looks like it'll dominate the SEA region, but I don't want to get my hopes up for now.
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What impact does the BTC price have on your gambling habits? on: November 10, 2023, 04:21:31 AM
Back then, I remember playing less a couple of times because the BTC price also caused casinos to change the minimum amount for their deposit and withdrawals.

Now, I still play at more or less the same pace when there's no need for me to react to every BTC price change and it doesn't affect me as much due to some casinos that automatically convert my balance to fiat during the deposit process. I guess it still depends on the intensity of the price change when they're not all the same.

Anyway, I guess it wont matter that much huh on Fenerbahce because we still have 3 questions with different answers that will be settled by Sunday so that is the most important date for us. I wanna watch Faker win therefore I picked T1 on the LOL questions lol  Roll Eyes, I think he has decent chance with all those breaks
That's true, I might've taken the lead today but things can quickly change on Sunday. After getting a good look at some of my answers, I realized that i'm fucked on the Chelsea question so it evens out unless we see a shocking result.  Tongue

We'll see how that T1 vs. JDG series goes. I got my hopes on JDG's stable carry player (Ruler) since his consistency reminds me of Yatoro when I watched their matches.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 10, 2023, 02:27:26 AM
There is a possibility that this will not pan out. Tundra is not getting valuable in the acquisition. Might as well just get better players if that's their goal, rather than buy the whole organization which is just an absolute waste of money. They would eliminate some competitions in the region though, which is great, but I'm pretty sure it will easily get replaced with a lot of newer teams comprised of old and new players.
At first, I thought it might just be GG wanting to see how valuable their squad would get if they put their squad up for grabs and maybe they're running out of options. Finding good players could save them money but it might become difficult to pull off now that more orgs are stepping into the scene.

Also, the TI winners won't participate in the ESL One KL as an update was posted through ESL's Twitter . Now i'm curious to see the teams participating in the closed qualifiers since they got the extra slot from TS.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: November 09, 2023, 11:25:18 PM
It's best to skip this match or go low because there's no obvious winner, but i'm on the Bears only because of the way they performed these past few weeks.

To me, the Panthers are worse than the Bears even without Fields, but still, i'd factor in the possibility of the Panthers waking up when this is their best chance of getting their second win, which is why i'm only risking a small bet for today.

875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: November 09, 2023, 01:45:06 PM
Now i'm at the point where i'll try to fade my pick since the opposite has been hitting and out of the MOTDs we have today, I like AS Roma for some reason. That means i'll be going with Slavia Prague as my MOTD pick.  Tongue

The good thing for today's MOTD is that we don't have to worry about a player needing a goal because they've removed the ATGS part, which I hope continues, as it's usually the leg that would kill the bet.

876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 09, 2023, 05:00:25 AM
Organization wise, Tundra is somehow better than GG. Perhaps they want to make GG as a sister organization, or want to rebrand their whole organization as a whole after this purchase. i don't understand these buyouts on the esports scene because they don't mean much compared to sports acquisition wherein teams are merged together for 'better' results in performance..
That's true. Tundra's total winnings are nearly tripled compared to GG, but it still has a chance to not go through if GG can't get the most out of this potential buyout from Tundra.

Still few days to go but lets start the Worlds betting, going straight for winner on this
I'm also going for BLG on the first match and then slightly leaning on JDG for the other series because I don't have the guts to fade the MSI champs.  Cheesy
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 09, 2023, 12:22:34 AM
I'd mention time because once you're focused on gambling, you might compromise your schedule if you don't keep track of the time. I remember reading a piece of news back then about a parent who put her child in danger because she was gambling and forgot about the time.

3. Gambling base on people predictions or gamble on a game that many people likes.
I agree if it's all the time, but still, you don't have to necessarily avoid this part when there's nothing wrong in trying some of the most recommended games.

@ralle14 : I actually thought you were going to pick Manchester United to win though but it seems we can chill for today because we got the same answers  Tongue
I was close to picking Man United until I saw Copenhagen's results and it hurts less to lose on underdogs than the favorites.  Cheesy

Our answers for tomorrow's question are similar except for the Fenerbahce match. I winged my answers there because it was one of the few questions I haven't answered and I thought I only had a minute or two left to submit my entry.
879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 08, 2023, 07:50:38 PM
What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?
Avoid welcome bonuses, or at least know the terms and conditions if you're planning to take them, because there used to be a time when some gamblers complained about these bonuses.

Learn to accept your losses. This one will be a big help if you can do this consistently because you'll experience countless losses, and sometimes you'll get that urge to go after those losses, which will only help you pile up your losses even further.

Don't think Newcastle scored in the match as I was watching the Shakhtar one instead just before they scored the second goal to put Barcelona away.
Yup, Newcastle couldn't find a single goal and it was the only thing I needed for the special to hit.

I decided to skip the specials for today after Newcastle fucked me over. Real Madrid's MOTD caught my attention since it's a bit better than the regular MOTD, but i'm still hesitating because i've heard others mention Bellingham's recent injury.

This parlay is the only thing I placed atm, as I think i'm better off taking the home favorites when most of the visiting teams this round are sitting on the lower end of their groups.

Edit: Napoli, the only home favorite failing today and the team I least expect to ruin my parlay.  Lips sealed
