861  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: G1Shop is a scammer on: April 21, 2018, 11:55:22 PM
You really had shortcomings since you did not search thoroughly about the seller and his service. He even had a negative feedback on that site : https://rocketr.net/sellers/G1Shop#feedback aside from here in the forum, plus the GC prices are to good to be true which is suspicious in the first place.

Be extra careful on your next deals.
862  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BountyPortals.com on: April 21, 2018, 11:06:16 PM
Good evening. The site is still not finalized? I do not see links like you have in the screenshot - HOME, ABOUT US, OUR SERVICES, BENEFITS...
Or only on the official website such information?
It seems to be updated with the new design. Check at http://bountyportals.com/
I think you will not see it if you are on http://app.bountyportals.com/
863  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin doesn't show up on Cryptopia account on: April 21, 2018, 04:42:15 PM
That's weird. There's only one deposit address for each coin/token per account in cryptopia and no option to generate a new address. The exchange also make an announcement whenever there will be a change in deposit addresses and it will be applied to all users.

If he searched BTC, other coins such as BTCS, BTCD, LBTC will show up as well. You're friend have to checked again if he uses the correct BTC address for the deposit. If correct and the transaction was already confirmed by the network, but still not show up in the balance, contact the support at https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/UserSupport
864  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ECA Withdraw Fails at CoinsMarket on: April 20, 2018, 11:47:56 PM
I was surprised that the site is still working, I thought they stopped already since the time they said that they were to upgrade, but no timely updates.

Anyway, that's weird that you were able to withdrew a small amount. I saw on reddit (comment by the head mod) that CoinsMarkets quietly disabled ECA withdrawals. Several users in the chat stated about losing and not able to withdraw their ECA too. Another shady move from that exchange indeed.

You were able to withdraw your ECA since February 26th. However, it appears that after sometime, CoinsMarkets quietly disabled withdrawals and those who didn't do it in time are back to waiting until the re-enable withdrawals again.

The website probably reports you successfully withdrew, but in reality, withdrawals from CoinsMarkets' ECA wallets have been disabled. I'm sorry to have to tell you this bit of news :/
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $8,000 worth ETH stolen on: April 19, 2018, 07:11:39 PM

What I noticed was most tokens received were limited to Utrust, PHI, STP, SPA, SDE, TKT, ebit, COPYTRACK, Transmission, GlobCoin Crypto Platform. Does one of these tokens send you an email or let you fill out something connected to your wallet? If yes, that might be the cause.

Why do you think that some of sent tokens like "Utrust, PHI, STP, SPA, SDE, TKT, ebit, COPYTRACK, Transmission, GlobCoin Crypto Platform" - they are the signal about the someones tryings to steal something from your wallet? For example - Utrust it was a real project. I heared about the GlobCoin that it may be scam but I heared about it only. Just interesting for myself. Because lots of fraud there are for the last time.
I know Utrust, but not the other tokens. What I said was just a possibility. It's possible that the hacker used one of these tokens' names to send a phishing link and/or give people a form to fill out with their data. These days hackers do pretend to be the real project through email or any other means just to steal, so... that's why I thought of that.
866  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time To Buy BTC: Bitcoin Market Right Now On A Buy Signal Suggests Dan Morehead on: April 19, 2018, 06:14:38 PM
Time to buy, is it really now? Most people do buy when they see that the price is rising. Afraid to buy when it's at $6k because it might get lower, but not afraid to buy when it already rises? Lips sealed Not the best time, but still good as long as you can hold imo. Anyway, I also hope that the price either hold or go higher this time.
867  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Idex exchange withdrawal problem on: April 19, 2018, 05:41:04 PM
As I've checked, the team is aware about the issue. They posted late though, but I think it's the reason why you still didn't receive your withdrawal. Please see their tweet for reference:

***Update: #IDEX is experiencing technical issues at the moment causing deposits/withdrawals to take longer than usual to process. This is going to resolve once the technical issues are fixed. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience!
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $8,000 worth ETH stolen on: April 19, 2018, 05:09:43 PM
Maybe you have entered your private key in a phishing website.
You can't identify the hacker only with that address. It seems that the account was new and created solely for that purpose (storage of stolen tokens/Eth). There's no outgoing transaction as of yet and the address continue to receive tokens.

869  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beware of Binance!! on: April 19, 2018, 04:22:52 PM
By the way, the Google Auth or even Authy its known for same issues too.
It seems to be fine now with Google Auth. Yesterday it was really hard to access the site. After putting the code, the page got directed to user account and it keeps refreshing by itself. If you go through other pages (ex. Main page, Exchanges, etc.), it shows that the account was still not logged in.

Still no progress with SMS Auth?
870  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: April 19, 2018, 12:38:43 AM
I have 80 more activities but why I am not promoted
You quoted the whole post, but it seems that you have not read it well. You need merit to rank up, 10 merits in your case to be a member. Notice about Merit was noted just in the beginning yet you still missed it.

Ranks

Update on 2/3/18: Merit points are now added
In addition to the activity points, merit points (click for more information) are required to advance your ranking.
871  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Suspected scam on: April 18, 2018, 11:26:02 PM
It is a self moderated thread. Plus, they ask for Eth before receiving an airdrop, obviously a scam. Another proof from VeChain official telegram account:

872  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Phishing Scams on MEW and Coinbase..Be Safe!!! on: April 18, 2018, 10:53:22 PM
I sometimes receive phishing emails too, not sure if I got the same as yours though. They were in my spam folder, where links and images are disabled so I just ignore them. I also don't bother opening emails that offer free money, discounts, or anything like that, and instantly put them into the trash folder. I hope others are doing the same or other security measures to avoid being a victim.

Being cautious can save you ~
873  Economy / Exchanges / Re: WARNING: HitBTC stole 5Btc, after I provided everything they asked for 2+ months on: April 17, 2018, 04:45:44 PM
Tag their Twitter account on your issue. Here is their Twitter account but I am not sure if this is official https://twitter.com/hitbtc
This could help since they are active on twitter. Just mention that they froze your account for 2 months now, already provided all the details needed and still no reply from support. Don't forget to include the ticket number so they can check it.

PS. Don't deposit too much in a single exchange.
874  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Attention Scammers Sergo!! on: April 17, 2018, 03:56:20 PM
This seems to be a fishy service at first look. I checked the thread and all vouches/post of interest came from newbies. Moreover, these newbie accounts are most likely alts, all were registered from January 2014. See details below:

Be extra cautious next time. Even your rank is lower than the one who offers the service, don't trust too much. You can demand the use of a trusted escrow for safety, though if you do even you deal with a trusted member, you might pay the escrow fee.
875  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Missing coin on HitBTC on: April 16, 2018, 11:28:09 PM
I have look reports and all reports are missing. All reports lost . In reports is nothings.
You looked at reports, may I confirm if you select/click the radio button to see ALL (not Today, Yesterday, 1 Week, 1 Month)?
Also, did you look on Account tab too? If you scroll down on Account you'll see the Latest transactions there.

If you did both and still no records, that's really weird that only support could explain.
876  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-16] Coinbase Acquires Earn.com for an Estimated $100 Million on: April 16, 2018, 08:35:18 PM
IMO this acquisition will attract more people to use Earn, considering the number of Coinbase users out there. It would be interesting to see what will happen next ~ Coinbase + Earn.com

877  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LiveCoin.net > + News markets on: April 16, 2018, 06:30:44 PM
So are you going to hoard all the coins for yourself?
All exchanges are already supporting, hitbtc, coinex, coinroom, btc-alpha, octaex, coinroom.. everyday new exchange.

https://twitter.com/monero_v/status/985791492211052544

What about us??
Most likely they will. Remember that coins in exchanges aren't totally yours as you're not holding the private keys. You might say/think, why other exchanges did support it? Well, they all have different terms and since LiveCoin announced beforehand that they will not add and deposit any forks of any assets (coins), you should have transferred your coins to a wallet/exchange that will support it.

Not so good, but nothing else you could do with it.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vulnerability Cardano wallet Daedalus on: April 16, 2018, 02:19:58 PM
Where did you download the new version of the wallet? If it's not from the official site then it might be the cause. You could get more answers if you post at https://forum.cardano.org/
879  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: April 16, 2018, 10:23:36 AM
What is the meaning of that half blue coin under your name
There's an equivalent number of gold coins to distinguish every rank and that 5 gold coins with half dark blue is for Legendary. Please read the main post for the complete info. Also to avoid asking more questions that were already answered there.

880  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any service similar to Skype accepting bitcoin? on: April 15, 2018, 03:03:45 PM
There's a telegram bot called Callcoin launched last 2016, you can make calls to any phone numbers (even international) and pay using Bitcoin, but not for landline as far as I know. I haven't tried it though. You can check the website if you're interested or want to know more: https://callcoinbot.com/
