G1Shop is a scammer

What happened::
I was looking to purchase some bitmain coupons, but saw the related sticky thread too late (I know, I am a noob), so I paid 17$ in ltc for a 220$ coupon, or, in other words, for a rather cheap lesson.
Half an hour later or so, I got an email suggesting to upsell me one of his other available coupons, as the one I bought was "sold out".
Obviously I skipped his offer, suggested a refund, never heard back from him, never got any coupons, and got my posts deleted in his thread.
Again, rather cheap lesson to be honest, this could be much worse (not sure if I would be as dumb if more money were involved though).

Additional Notes:
The user seems to have a farm of accounts, interacting with each other to seem normal.
Other possible usernames, apart from G1Shop, based on the link below (different forum, same user, obvious through posts history and patterns):

Why did you make a deal without reading the sticky topic Avoid auto-buy links, mainly locked or self moderated. Register before dealing ?.
Also, before concluding any transaction, visit the trust page (read untrusted feedback). I tagged him before [2018-04-09].
Sorry for your loss. Always remember not to send money before making sure of escrow service (bitcointalk escrow or trusted sites "bitify.com").

You really had shortcomings since you did not search thoroughly about the seller and his service. He even had a negative feedback on that site : https://rocketr.net/sellers/G1Shop#feedback aside from here in the forum, plus the GC prices are to good to be true which is suspicious in the first place.

Be extra careful on your next deals.

Nice to know that you've learned something from this experience.

I think his autobuy got taken down because of a lot of people getting scammed, and rocketr finally did something. But just because Rocketr did something this time to the scammers, doesn't mean that they always do it. 99% of the listings on the site are still scams that they haven't attended to.

The biggest warning signs are if a seller has a self moderated thread so that he is able to delete any comments of people who has gotten scammed; if the seller has a locked thread, so nobody can comment; and if an autobuy link is used. In this case, all three warning bells should have rung.

Remember that autobuy links don't offer any escrow protection. They are different to bitify, etc. Even if the goods are delivered there are no guarantees that it's not fraudulently obtained.

You can also add this guy FriendlySignal https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2049199 to his list of alts.  He vouched for every single scam thread of G1SHOP (and subsequently deleted all the dozens of vouches after I called him out on it).  I have screen prints somewhere.
