Guy's
There are slight difference in a way how latest cgminer 0_3_2 shows your hash rate and hw error rate. The latest version is more accurate. So compare apples to apples.

Does this version have any influence/improvements for Hex8A1? Mine is running stable now with almost no hw errors, so I'm a bit hesitant to change a running system.
So then just stick to old version Wink
Yes it has some improvements especially if you are mining at higher difficulty
Set-dif-to-one 0
Probably pool rejects should be lower also
But as I said you can get slightly different numbers for GH and hw errors
At the end when you do compare the performance always watch your pool stats Wink

Phinn,
Would you be so kind to post 24 h pool graph of your miner performance.

Phin doesn't mine. I doubt he even took it out of the box,
Then I have to wait for other folks to show it.
This shipping disaster has to stop someway......smashed boxes broken parts.....

Did anybody try this cgminer for windows?  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=476970.msg5903836#msg5903836

it works to me but instead of getting 130Gh  I get 126Gh with the HEX8A1.

What about hw errors dude ?
867  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 11, 2014, 08:02:46 PM
Fedex tracking says "On FedEx vehicle for delivery"

Congrats!
Will you be so kind to post 24 hour pool chart of miner performance at some point?

Phinn,
Are you saing that most probably there is no Jim at all?

There was a guy in the office that went by the name Jim Brown, and even referred to Josh as his brother while we were having a smoke outside (just recalled that I probably did pen such), but I never asked for, nor seen any ID. Same true for the Rob dude that was there.

My guess is that there were both there to also act as body guards, even though I arrived alone and had no qualms with walking into some strange office late at night to meet up with three dudes, one of which probably despised my guts.

Jim Brown(?) seemed pretty healthy to me, but I guess a heart attack is possible if one consumes too many Red Bulls. For some reason I don't believe the clan does drugs, so maybe be able to rule that out.

That said, I'm leaning heavily toward this being a ruse.

870  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 11, 2014, 07:41:59 PM
Not the case dude
The real problem is mixing psu grounds and results can be amazing depending how your home is wired and if power plug is rotated at 180 degrees Wink
Short story do not do it
Long story ask someone who do you trust and knows that stuff for detailed explanation

Grounded plugs (|.|) can not be "rotated 180 deg". Nor can EU plugs (-|). Nor can most standard US non-grounded plugs (! |) {narrow prong, wide prong} {Even still, the rectifier isolates + from -, adding the - to the ground. The PSU will not start otherwise, it would fault.}

+12v is +12v on the output of every PSU, ground is ground on every PSU.

Dual PSU's are common, and standard, especially in servers. If it was an "issue", you couldn't touch one PC to another, or power one device from a wall-wart, that was plugged-in to your PSU... like um... USB-hubs, external drives, network cards, high-speed modems. They do not use full isolation, they all share a common ground, and have independent voltage inputs.
As I said all depends how is your home wired and grounded.
But you can experiment with it
However if your home is a server room and it is wired and grounded properly there is nothing to fear of Grin

871  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 11, 2014, 07:27:46 PM
Remember, if you do use 2 PSU's... you WILL need something on both PSU's to give the PSU a 5v load. Without something on the 5v rail, the 12v rail will not have a reff-voltage to stabilize correctly.

EG, plug an old CD-Drive or Floppy-Drive or any other device into one of the standard MOLEX (four prong "oooo" cables.) For the AMT unit PSU, this would be the raspberrypi as the 5v load. For the other PSU, you will need another device. (Find a nice 5v LED-light display, and you have a cool load to light-up the cards. Tongue)

P.S. An external 12v fan, will not work, as it does not use the 5v on the molex connections, though it may have a wire Wink on the plug, it is not actually connected to anything. (It will say 12v on the fans sticker.)

You know if you have power issues, because some boards will run at abnormal speeds. If you turn the unit off, and remove a board, and the remaining boards run normal... or better... then you are running into voltage issues. The PSU is not providing enough AMPs, while it tries to maintain the correct VOLTs. (Thus, the stated above solution, or you need a PSU with more AMPs on the 12v rails, to match the cards draw.)

When buying a PSU, you want to mind the RAILs and the AMPs per rail.

+12v/+12v (2 rails) *may not be split correctly for 5 cards, 2 @ 30a each (great), 3 @ 20a each (starved)
60a/60a

+12v (1 rail) *better for 5 cards, 5 @ 24a each (ok)
120a

That is just an example. I will know more detail about each cards individual "ideal power consumption", as my unit arrives for testing.
Not the case dude

I have gone to all of this and have bitter experience. No mater if it seems done right a lot wired things are about to happen. Trust me unless it seems useless to you also
Ps did I read it right ?
 120 amps for 5 cards at 12 v?
Which makes Huh?? At the wall
Nice
I guess 500 to 700w max Grin
Ok I am a jerk let us make them 900w Grin
872  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 11, 2014, 07:09:05 PM
If you are still reading it I said that you have to rewire your homes 200 pages ago. Check your fuses and all that useless stuff Grin
So my useless advise for you is to be prepared for the glorious moment when you miner will arrive.
Because a I said it will not be able to pay for electricity very soon. Do not loose a precious time to reply me dude. Get ready for the arrival Grin
873  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 11, 2014, 07:01:23 PM

I am not wishing any one to die. It is not my stile. I am a human after all.
But personal things are personal so it is better for all to be like this. Sharing such things in public is made on purpose to make you feel bad about it. So is it your problem that someone will eventually die. Because you are his customer? I guess no
But is it Zipkin problem that some of his employes is going to die because of his lies and fake promises
I think yes. So let leave Zipkin to take care of it ann other shit and pressure which is around the corner just because he is the only one to be blamed for it
Ps I missed phin post about Jim so let us hope the guy will be ok and his foot will never cross amt office again

Personal things?   You aren't even a customer,  what did these folks at AMT do to you?

Why are you even participating in this thread anyway?
I hate lies. Is it so hard to understand?
Go back 200 pages and show me a single posts of mine which is a lie.
Did I say something wrong. No. Did I say it it most appropriate way of course no.
Go from the begging of the tread and count amt replies -post and do you best to find a few tha are not lie?
How many you can find?

Bottom line the question is why are you even here any more? They are delivering to their customers if late. Its not an ideal situation to be in for anyone but they are working to deliver at this point. If your original intent was to point out they are frauds, then you have failed. They are real as a company. They are delivering product even if slowly. I dont want to go stepping up to bat for AMT, as they have mismanaged the situation, BUT hopefully with things as they are now and them apparently hitting rock bottom, they can turn it around and maybe come out of it a better company in the future. For now I think everyone just wants their product and put this whole saga behind them. Having people like you pop in with nothing to contribute AT THIS POINT, just makes this process much harder for everyone. You are not a customer, your use as far as this thread goes to expose them is pretty much done with.  I think EVERYONE here already knows how AMT is. And those of us who are customers mostly just want this situation over with to both ours and AMTs mutual satisfaction. You are just now actually now just saying useless nonsense and wishing death on people. And don't say you didnt because you clearly said everyone gets what they deserve. If you think you didnt maybe you need to check with google translate to see exactly what you are saying and how it is being taken. But I am sure it roughly translate the same way in bulgarian as well. And in case you think you said something else I did the legwork and translated it into bulgarian for you. Всеки получава това, което заслужава. That is what you are saying in context. Wish pretty much is wishing them to die if you read the previous post as well in context.
That is exactly what I said do not knowing Jim is a real person.
You can use google to translate it if you wish. And I clearly said that I do hope he gets better in most sincere way
However for me some things just do not go buy so I will say again and agin what amt are doing because they will continue to do it in the feature. Someday you can go back 200 pages and found my post staying here
Basically you have two options to get rid of me
1. Ask mods to ban me permanently
2. Use ignore button
3 both one and two

1ps what about your power supplies dude?
I can assure you that I can and will help every one of you te make their famous miner work if that is doable at all Grin

Got this e-mail today:

"Hi Steven,

Jim took a leave of absence due to stress and basically coming close to a heart attack the other day.

I'll take over on this one and I'll get back to you a bit later today regarding your orders.

Thanks and all the best to you,

Alyssa".

All my best to Jim, I hope he gets his health back soon.  I am sure he is under a lot of stress lately.

Wow....  I can just imagine... not only do they have upset customers... they've got legal folks and government officials now watching them like a hawk.   I would not want to be in their position.
Do you guy's believe in this shit?
There is no Jim there or if there is one it is not your fault at all
Basically everyone gets what he deserves someday....

No offense....actually I am totally offending, but you are a dick. Phin already actually met Jim and even had a smoke with the guy. So yea this particular bit could easily be the real deal. It's easy to sit behind a keyboard and say the kind of shit you do without really thinking about it. With all the crap coming down on them now this could easily be the case. Not wishing someone dies or get a heart-attack over this.
And at least someone from AMT is handling the order. Wishing someone's death over something like this is just all sorts of fucked up. But then karma is a bitch and it usually rebounds on the person wishing the death (if you believe in Karma but usually the universe somehow makes it work).

Agree with you here.   Loshia is Bulgarian, so its probably in their culture to wish everyone bad luck even though they personally weren't harmed.  I mean,  isn't it rudiculous that this Loshia character keeps bashing AMT even though he isn't even a customer.

Amt owns me money did you forget about it? And you can read my comment above also

Will the 16 b2's run on my current tplink that's running 16 b's without updating?
16?  Cheesy on one tplink ?Shocked Shocked
The only issue might be with CPU load
Short answer is yes they will
Long answer is split your setup to two tplinks and update software  Wink 9 boards to one tplink the rest to another
