Although comparing the overall player ratings between the Dragons and ROS, the distance is really that gap in favor of the Dragons. ROS doesn't really stand a chance against them but it's a good experience for them to face such a monster team in the quarterfinals.

Not much of an experience though since it is only 1 game. I believe they are already eliminated since the Dragons have a twice-to-beat advantage.

They had already faced before the elimination, and the outcome was still the same. In short, they have not learned from their experience, or maybe the Dragons are just too good for the ROS, this team have to evaluate their roster and make a huge improvement next season.

Close game between the Heat and the Clippers. Bam playing really well with 29 points already with half a quarter left to go. PG13 trying his best to keep the Clippers in the game. Ideally I would have expected Clippers to win but the Heat playing at home seems to have taken the edge.
PG13 is leading the LA Clippers but the Heat are still ahead. Bam is having a great night, he is also leading the Heat in this game. With few minutes left, it's not yet certain who will win as we've witnessed a game yesterday when the Jazz steal a win in a game that suppose to be a win by the Warriors.

The game is over, Clippers were not able to win on the road despite their big effort. Heat defeated them by 5 points only, so they were not able to cover the spread. The final score is 110-115, Bam with 31 points while Butler also has 26 points.

It’s hard for the Clippers to beat good teams with Kawhi not playing. Tonight John Wall had a bit of a tough night, leaving a lot for Paul George to carry. The Clippers have a lot invested into players that aren’t available at their best very often. That makes it tough to win consistently. Hopefully Wall and Leonard can get healthy for the playoffs and are able to contribute more frequently.

I do agree, just pity for Steve Balmer to see him giving out so much money to built a championship team and yet they can't figure it out since the Lob City days.

And up to know, when they acquire Kawhi from the champion team Toronto, he has been plagued with injuries and Paul George as well.

So very tough for him to see his Clippers team in worst maybe this year and not make the playoff because Kawhi is not healthy again.

Just calm down guys, there is still plenty of time for Leonard to recover, if he will be healthy comes playoffs time, I'm sure LA Clippers will be a championship team. Remember that PG alone take this team to the WCF, now that Leonard is slowly recovering and they have John Wall. That makes them a scary team to play with.
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 09, 2022, 06:01:42 AM
I believe there's no AI that would help us win in gambling, we cannot just solely base on statistics because that will result in a disaster. Successful gamblers based their prediction on different factors and stats alone although a major factor but it's not the main thing that would help them succeed in what they are doing.

Thing is, if one player will miss a game due to injury, that would definitely make the AI inaccurate in its prediction.

Dragons Vs. Elastopainters. Coach Yeng is a very talented coach and had many titles on his back already, but on this one, they will bow down to the Dragons. Phoenix Vs. Magnolia will be a better match-up because Phoenix also played well this conference though they went to a losing streak after having a 5-game winning streak and TBH, they might have a chance to beat the Hotshots in Game 1.

It's a must-win by the ROS, so might as well try to back them because the spread is too high. Coach Yeng will have his pride at stake here, he cannot just say that the Bay Area Dragons are so good and they cannot do anything to be competitive as that will only be a lame excuse.

I don't know if I'll find this handicap of ROS attractive, yes, it's +15.5, but against the Dragons? I think it's even low considering how they got dominated in their previous meeting. I'm saying it will be an easy win by the Dragons but we also cannot eliminate the possibility that it might result on a big upset.

We know coach Yeng, he has been a PBA coach for more than a decade, so he surely has something in his sleeve that we haven't seen before.

That's what I'm looking forward as playoffs are entirely different from regular seasons. Also, PG and John Wall are good leaders in playoffs, John Wall back when he was still with the Wizards, was leading the team, and now that they already combined forces with Leonard, things should be easier for them, but the most important thing is their health.

You still think same after that disastrous first half for Lakers? It was fairly obvious when both Anthony Davis and LeBron James officially ruled out.

"Ah shit, here we go again," said the Lakers after losing LeBron and Davis once again. Grin Honestly, I even thought the Lakers could find their rhythm, considering they've been playing pretty well lately. However, it looks like the Lakers' success depends a lot on the health of those two guys because the team doesn't have anyone who can replace them.
Unfortunately, now the Lakers have two losses in a row due to Davis and LeBron's absence, and that's too bad because they were so close to even their win/loss numbers.

It was Davis who has the biggest contribution to the team, even with Lebron playing, Lakers will still struggle, but put Davis back and even if Lebron is out, Lakers will remain competitive. IMO, it's Anthony Davis who is now the most important player of the Lakers, not Lebron, so it's hard to see the Lakers playing without him.

Maybe, but it was Lebron who started this team better, without him also this team will struggle. Davis maybe the best contributor this season, but without Lebron they'll never win a championship, best chance they'll have is to reach the playoffs but for sure they'll be eliminated early.

There's no need to compare both actually, both are great players, let's just hope that they'll both be healthy so they'll make this team a championship team.

869  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Should I copy my electrum wallets to USB for extra backups? on: December 05, 2022, 02:23:12 PM
Best practice is if you keep the seed on a different drives, one from your laptop and one from an external drive. Actually, it's also advisable to have a copy that is not kept in your house, just in case there's a flood or fire, then you can still access your funds even if your back ups are destroyed, but that's the worst-case scenario only, you'll only do this if you have a considerable amount of funds stored in your wallet, to minimize the risk of losing it.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 05, 2022, 01:33:27 PM
My picks for tonight.

Detroit Pistons vs Memphis Grizzlies (-5.5) = Memphis Grizzlies Win 1,70 Odds

Sacramento Kings vs Chicago Bulls(-1,5) = Chicago Bulls Win 2,35 Odds (Risk)
I took a risk for Chicago, I hope they win.

Good luck guys.

I took a risk but it didn't work, it doesn't matter.
I lost a very small amount.
There are good games tonight, I will try my luck in them.

At least you win on your Memphis pick, I don't know if you bet on moneyline or the spread? Because if it's on the spread, it should not be 1.70, enlighten  me a bit.

Anyway, let's discuss the upcoming games, lots of teams that I really like and I'm quite confident that I'll win.

So I wanna share my picks.

Raptors +1
Warriors -10.5
Dallas -3.5
Bucks -9.5
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 05, 2022, 01:02:24 PM

Maybe moving to have that chance to play against the top seeder was already an achievement for him after being away from his former team and now coaching them back.

It wasn't an achievement IMO, why? because the only reason why they will play the top seed because they are at the bottom.  Grin

Well, I think there's a chance to win, and if they will upset the Bay Area Dragon, that's the best achievement for me, even just winning in the elimination, it's like winning a championship since Bay Area is the best team this conference.
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: December 05, 2022, 08:26:14 AM

Garcia vs Davis, will divide the fans, but just like bookies sees this fight, I think Davis has more believers that he would win the fight.

Really hard to see who will win because both have a knockout punch, but as per the bookies, I'm seeing that they will put Tank as favorite. And if this is the case, for Ryan, he should proved them wrong by winning this fight.

After this fight one of them is not undefeated anymore, and I believe that Ryan Garcia will give Tank Davis a good fight. He keeps challenging great champions, now it's his time to shine, beating Tank Davis will make his ranking skyrocket and he will definitely earn more big fights ahead.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: December 05, 2022, 08:00:33 AM

For now, let's wait for the result of this match that's already predictable by 99.9%.
We already know who might win in their upcoming fight but let's see if Butler prepared a hidden strategy that can beat the monster.

At least give Butler 1% chance of winning as a sign of respect, saying 99.9% chance for Inoue, that only gives Butler 0.01% chance. I know upset happens in boxing, but just like guys, I don't see it happening because Inoue are just too good for Butler.

Whatever percentage of chances your predictions are, it doesn't change the fact that Inoue is a heavy favorite, most likely bookies would only give 1.05 at max for Inoue, and I'm sure there are still bettors who would risk at that odds. On the other hand, isn't it a motivation for Butler to train hard to prove to the majority of us who believe that he has no chance that he ca beat Inoue?
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 04, 2022, 02:18:33 PM

The fight against Haney might be different since there's a belt than in stake and Loma will try his best to earn the title and upset Haney.

This is another fight, in another level because they are both great fighters and you are right, Loma might be a slight underdog here but he has a decent chance of beating an undated Haney. Loma's style is very unpredictable, his being precise will give him the win, so Haney should be careful with his style as Loma is very good in reading styles and making the right adjustment.

Utah Jazz VS Portland Trail Blazers SCORE 111 - 116 - LOST

It seems the Utah Jazz, really needs a little more push in training themselves, they are a newly formed team that still has a ceiling to improve they still need the chemistry to know more about each of the players, not like the Trail Blazers, Jerami Grant got 33 points, and Anfernee Simons 45 points,

It was still a close game so it's okay they lose. Trail Blazers are very unpredictable but you can always rely on that Grant and Simons will drop huge points if they are shooting well. After 3 win streak, the Jazz finally lose a game, now let's see if they'll create a win streak again, and how long.

Blazers still can win games even without Lillard, how much more if they will have Lillard back in the lineup. Jazz loses one game, it's okay because they will come back and build that win streak again. I love watching this team, no big expectation from them but they are showing up, I'm just hoping their chemistry won't be ruin as they continue the season.

I lost my bet because Jazz lost at home too. It broke my parlay, but it is okay, it is part of the game. It was a close game and the Jazz still does not have Conley in their lineup. Even though the Blazers do not have Lillard, Simon has carried the team with his outside shooting. 45 points came from the young Trail Blazers. That is a huge output.

Definitely, it's a superstar performance and I'm sure Lillard is happy while he is recovering because he knows his team will remain competitive and will win games. Jazz on the other hand was probably tired, I don't know, no excuses because Blazers are also a good team, so better luck next time.

877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: December 03, 2022, 01:50:52 PM
Agreed, however, I would be betting for him with not much expectation of winning money hehehe. Ryan Garcia is a better boxer than many others in his weight division but he is an entertainer more than a fighter much similar to Conor McGregor, I reckon. Tank is the real fighter and the future king in his weight division, very similar to Khabib. However, we cannot underestimate King Ryan's left hook which can certainly knockout tank.

I would not compare Garcia to McGregor though, I think both Garcia and Tank have an equal chance of winning, Khabib is just so good that almost all of his fights are easily won, on the case of Davis it does not work like that for him, especially if he will face Garcia who has a slight advantage on him. This is just my opinion, I could be wrong, so let's just enjoy watching the fight.

Well I agree, there is no comparison in my opinion, yes he has a lot of social media following, but he still very serious in his fight and so he is not a entertainer but just a boxer who wants to fight the best that's why he has been calling Tank for a long time.

This fight is still very far, they both will get some tune up fight first next month or at the start of the year. So let's wait as the fight gets close, it's going to be fire.

This is a mega fight, everyone is certainly waiting for this to happen. I hope there's no hindrance to this not happening because it will be another big disappointment for the boxing community. We have a rumored Spence vs Crawford but it didn't happen, this one should happen.

Garcia vs Davis, will divide the fans, but just like bookies sees this fight, I think Davis has more believers that he would win the fight.

Got one win on tonight's game, Jazz over Pacers, -4.5 is not that bad as the Jazz won on a high scoring night, 20 point lead.

But there were a lot of surprises, for one the Lakers over Giannis Bucks.

And then Celtics losing at home against the inconsistent Miami Heat that goes into overtime.

Also with the Suns losing against the Houston Rockets with just 1 point.

Unexpected outcome with Phoenix but that's the reality upset can happen in each games. Looking how Lakers beats the Bucks,
they also play hard and make the bettors enjoy.
Yes, Bucks and Suns are both a championship teams but they are upset by a low ranked team.
Well, just recently I saw how the Rockets are playing well, their chemistry is very evident and everyone is contributing, not only Green.
Porter Jr. is just a big help for the team, he is very aggressive in attacking the paint and a willing passer as well.

Congrats by the way with your Jazz bet that's really a huge lead and a well covered handicap.
More games again tomorrow, time to move on for those who lose their bets especially those
who takes or creates parlay bets..

Great job by the Jazz, their win streak is still alive, and hopefully it will continue after their game against the Blazers.
879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: December 03, 2022, 11:15:00 AM
Casimero's power is very evident in this fight, Akaho could not handle it that's why he goes "best actor", LOL.. Although he was hit at the back but it wasn't a clear shot, most like a slip but he was already tired since Casimero was so relentless in attacking him.

I guess this is a good win by Casimero, he is now ready to face Inoue if the latter decides to move after winning the undisputed fight against Butler.
880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: December 02, 2022, 01:45:38 PM
Back to the fight, I hope Butler prepared well for this fight because Inoue will seriously defeat him so easily if his performance is still the same when he fought Jonas Sultan last time. Knowing that Inoue is already hungry to unify all the belts at 118 lbs. and Butler is the only last threat that he have to eliminate.

Butler looks like not a real threat to Inoue, we are talking of the beast here, he would certainly get all the belts and will go up in weight next. Butler has two option, either he will fight aggressively and suffer bad defeat or just play with the score and bring this fight to the judges scorecards. Regardless, I still don't see Butler will win.

Will be on how his camp executes his strategy, they don't have any option but to bring all the chances he would have, by papers and by an actual game type. Inoue really has the upper-hand.

Maybe we will see him try in a few rounds, but if he feels that, the chance is not that high
he might go with the scoring side and avoid getting hard damage to continue his fighting
career.

He will definitely do that as he doesn't want to brawl with Inoue. Butler is a smart fighter, he knows his strength so he would just play with his strength, and though he is the underdog here (because people feels he has no chance) but I'm pretty sure he will take pride of trying to win all the belts at stake.
