and looking at it from a technical point of view, Inoue is very good, but the surprise factor is that which sometimes surprises us and since there is so much money involved, things can change.

What do you mean by "since there's much money involved, things can change?"

And by saying "surprise factor", do you mean Butler can find a hole that can lead to beating Inoue?

Actually, I'm not ruling out that Butler can find an opening to deal a blow on Inoue as of course, it's impossible that he can't land a shot on Inoue. But the problem is, his punching power might not be enough to deal serious damage to Inoue even if he finds an opening.

Moving forward, time flies so fast, and quite surprised here that it's only a few weeks left before the fight will finally take place.

I agree to that, Butler's punching power is not that heavy to bring Inoue down, unlike with Donaire before where Inoue was almost kissing the canvass, though we never know when luck come, maybe Butler will find that solid combination to bring Inoue down.

Let's see, just like what you said only few weeks and we will see them fighting inside the same ring, winner take all!

We never looked down on Paul Butler but I also don't see he has that strong punch to take down Inoue if he was able to connect some good shots.

Inoue is also used to receiving a different levels of punches and if we talk about Butler's punch, Inoue can surely handle it.

It's also hard to connect some blows on Inoue as this guy is very quick and versatile. On the other hand, Butler is not even known for some special skills related to speed, quickness, strong punches, absorbing heavy body blows, and so on.

Naoya is going to fight Butler as 118 lbs to unify the belt, yes that is good for us boxing fans. But what we really wanted to see is Naoya jumping to 122 lbs, a new division for him and together with Casimero shake it up a bit and make the division very competitive with those two going up. So it's a win-win for us boxing fans for next year and this division will be watch by experts and casual fans.

No offense to John Riel Casimero but it's too early to include his name on tough fighters in the Super Bantamweight. Naoya Inoue is ranked no. 5 by the WBO right now in the Super Bantamweight. Akaho is ranked no. 8. That's already a big reason not to mention Casimero for now in the discussion. And likely, if Inoue will move up in that division, he probably ends up being in the top 5 without a sweat with only a few fights before being considered for a title match.

Anyways, super bantamweight rankings are varied for each boxing organization and I'm just giving an example that even though Naoya Inoue is still not moving up, he was already given a ranked no. 5 by the WBO in the super bantamweight. The distance is too far between him and Casimero.

But I hoped Casimero will soon catch up so that their supposed fight against Inoue will be possibly materialized.

I won't be surprised either that Naoya Inoue will be in the Top 5 once he formally announce his move towards the Super-bantamweight division, he seriously don't need to climb the ranks from the bottom to the top because it will be a no brainer as he will surely defeat them little less unscathed. With his power, he is already compared to the champions of the super bantam and people already had their own speculations about it. But let's be patient for now because it will take some time first before Bob Arum cuts Inoue loose to fight the top dogs.

Oftentimes, heavy punchers have high resistance to the same amount of punching power.  So it is somehow scientific to say that Butler's punching power will almost not affect Inoue because Inoue having the heavier hitter possibly possessed high durability and resistance against weaker punching power opponents.  We can testify to it in his fight against Donaire.   Even though Inoue's face is somehow ruined in their first fight, Inoue has never been knockdown by the hard-hitting Donaire.  The reason behind this is, Inoue is a harder puncher thus his durability would be better.

Yes, Inoue, being the heavier hitter between the two, and Inoue's durability is capable of absorbing Butler's punches.  So it will be hard for Butler to knock down Inoue unless he is trained enough to acquire precision in punching where he can hit anyone on the weakest part of the face or of the body while the boxer isn't prepared to receive the blow.

Inoue already proven himself in the bantamweight, and so when he goes up to super bantam and probably as a unified champion he will be rated higher, so yeah probably in the top 5 of all governing organization at 122 lbs. They will have somewhat given him the respect being their champion.

I think Bob Arum is already confident of Inoue, he already clean up the division, beating Donaire and all other champion at 118 lbs. So I think Arum is confident enough that Inoue can do good in the 122 lbs and maybe he see in him the next Manny Pacquiao, climbing divisions and becoming a champion.

The trust is already there but I know that Bob Arum will not do any reckless things that will or might give them struggles up ahead, it will be safe to assume that Inoue will take his time first and will be fighting at least 2 non-title fights before he'll face the champions at 122 lbs. Arum and Inoue still needed to be careful because super-bantam weight might give them surprises, although that's really not that likely.

The only exemption of their chances of survivability is if they will meet that punch that will get them knocked out in their most vulnerable moment, as even heavy hitters with best defensive tactics still got weaknesses. In this fight, Butler will have to find that weakness as fast as he could because Inoue might finish the fight much earlier. Though that's the hardest challenge but he should find it to increase his chances.

The chance of Butler is really slim knowing how aggressive Inoue's fighting style, at any moment Inoue can
box him and start throwing solid punches that might convert to his critical area and knock him down.

If he will give Inoue such opportunities, then we may say that he can be knocked out before the fight reached the 10th round, though still on
how he will engage and how he will do his best to avoid Inoue's aggression.

Not just often times, heavy hitters are always got better chances to survive the fight and I think we can already say that it is already a fact.

Yes, I think that's what boxing analyst calls boxer getting caught when they don't expect, when they are open.

But we haven't seen anyone score like that on Inoue, maybe on the first Donaire fight wherein he caught Inoue broken his orbital bone but still Inoue survived and win that fight. And Inoue evolved after that. And so it's hard to see Butler getting the same chance as Donaire, to be able to hit Inoue when he is vulnerable. I don't think Inoue is also weak in his body. So Butler chance is really slim in this fight.

Or also, Arum will let Inoue stay in his current division and continue to dominate. Maybe an interesting newcomer will try to chase his belt and with good promotions, they might bring fans to buy and watch the fight.

With the possible moving up to a new division, you said it right, Arum knows how to milk more from his cash-cow
he will not take that big risk in case he will let Inoue move up to a new division, might bring non-title fight
first to test if how ready Inoue is in this new weight before chasing for the belt.

Of course, it's not an assurance for Casimero to be considered as big name in the super bantamweight. But what he did on 118 lbs? it can't be deny and probably that his intention as well in 122 lbs. And so he will have to take the same course, built it up slowly, beat Akaho which is rank number 8 and maybe in his next fight the 5th rank and so and so forth. Almost the majority is thinking that Casimero will win and when he does, he will really send a message to this division. That's why I said that next year this division will be hot for boxing fans as there are a lot of good fights specially if it will involved John Riel against rank boxer or if the champions are willing to risk their belt on him.

Everything would be done via a step and there's no way for some shortcut which Casimero would really be needing up to take up the pace on climbing into the ladder until he would
reach up Inoue into his current rank but the gap would continue to get huge if Inoue would really be still trying to climb up the ladder. This is why im not really that expecting much
for these fellas to catch up and make a fight where everyone is really anticipating or expecting. For now lets just tend to finish up this Inoue vs Butler which i dont
see any problems for Inoue on winning this one.

True, specially for Casimero, he knows where to start, as I have said he has been traveling around the world and so he is more familiar with going out somewhere and fight and beat his opponent very bad.

And besides, he has a history of missing weight already so for sure boxing organizations are not going to give him an easy pass as he might missed weight again.

For the Inoue vs Butler, it's really hard to see Paul Butler pulling the biggest upset in boxing this year.

Of course, it's not an assurance for Casimero to be considered as big name in the super bantamweight. But what he did on 118 lbs?

What Casimero did in 118lbs aside from being stripped of the title is trash-talking his opponent.  It could have been Casimero who is facing Inoue in the upcoming match if he isn't didn't violate any rules and wasn't stripped of the title.  Casimero just missed the possibly biggest fight of his career.  I think it would be different when Inoue and Casimero meet in Casimero's present division unless either of them got the undisputed champion in the 122-lb division.

He will surely send a message to his current division but I think it won't have much bang on it since Akaho isn't considered one of the best boxers in that division.

Naoya Inoue can always go back and forth from bantam to super bantam while he's still chasing non-title fights at 122 lbs. And he can also maintain his title in the bantamweight as long as he won't be holding any belts at 122 lbs., correct me if I'm wrong, I think that's what happened to Canelo Alvarez when he won the WBO belt at LHW and decided to vacate the belt a year after.

Back to the fight, I hope Butler prepared well for this fight because Inoue will seriously defeat him so easily if his performance is still the same when he fought Jonas Sultan last time. Knowing that Inoue is already hungry to unify all the belts at 118 lbs. and Butler is the only last threat that he have to eliminate.

Butler looks like not a real threat to Inoue, we are talking of the beast here, he would certainly get all the belts and will go up in weight next. Butler has two option, either he will fight aggressively and suffer bad defeat or just play with the score and bring this fight to the judges scorecards. Regardless, I still don't see Butler will win.

Will be on how his camp executes his strategy, they don't have any option but to bring all the chances he would have, by papers and by an actual game type. Inoue really has the upper-hand.

Maybe we will see him try in a few rounds, but if he feels that, the chance is not that high
he might go with the scoring side and avoid getting hard damage to continue his fighting
career.

He will definitely do that as he doesn't want to brawl with Inoue. Butler is a smart fighter, he knows his strength so he would just play with his strength, and though he is the underdog here (because people feels he has no chance) but I'm pretty sure he will take pride of trying to win all the belts at stake.

Ten days to go the most awaited fight will come and inoue once again prove his best that he is the king of this division and once he win in this fight against Paul butler then all we can say is that Naoya Inoue is unstoppable and the king of bantamweight division and for sure a plan to step forward and face another champion in another division.  For me no offend to Paul Butler then all I can say is that inoue has a big chance to win in this fight so I'll bet for him.

Either way, Butler's chance towards the monster Naoya Inoue is somewhat slim and I don't see any chances that he could at least give the latter a hard time because he doesn't have the skillset that can give Inoue some struggles on the midst of their fight. At first, I know that his aim is to at least exchange few punches with Inoue to somehow tell the people that he is not that afraid, but I bet his actions will change when he will have a taste of Inoue's fist.
