Dear XBM investors,

It has come to our attention that when we left blank PoW blocks to move the blockchain for the first day or so, to make sure there was no freezes like other PoS only coins have had, someone decided to do a massive overtake of the network (11Mh/s right now verse the 250kh/s we were mining with to move the chain).

Because of this, we were not able to send out coins due to "double spending" errors resulting from this anonymous person. As of now the chain is under his control and he can do as he pleases because of this.

We found this immediately during some checks and realize this requires a re-launch. We are not here to scam or let people get screwed over. We said we'd pull this off and we will, but there is no other option at this point.

We will be working with C-Cex as they froze the wallets and will keep backups of everyones balance so they can be refund as soon as things are fixed.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

This will be fixed quickly not a major issue since the coin has no block rewards. Probably done by someone that saw the potential in this coin.

Take your time

Well this is strange indeed that's someone tried to fuck up the coin's start...

Not really, some kid noticed the low hashrate and decided to fuck with the coin - I could've forked it with my measly miner.

This is an easy fix, no one will lose anything.
I hate crypto sometimes
Didn't expect this would happen. I'm working as fast as I can to get things fixed.
Shit happen. I've seen other coins having same issues in the past.
You've handled this correctly. You could just disappear, but you didn't. So I'll stick around!
Like I said, this is a long term project. I have dedicated a lot of my time to see it succeeding. I wont let anyone down and I'll work even harder now. I see there's interest to shut down XBM for some reason. I guess I'm doing something right.

Thanks for sticking it out!

Will you be offering refunds?

Here we go.........  Roll Eyes

I am not demanding a refund so don't misunderstand, I was just wondering for investment purposes if refunds are going to be an option for everyone who invested in the IPO. Relax man! Smiley

Web wallet and encrypted messaging is a good start no need to let all the toys out of the box at once Smiley

This thing almost sold out! Shocked

Dunno who you hired for marketing, but fire them. Only tweet I have seen is from cex and myself and I follow all the big names.

Did you consider that marketing will come after the IPO is closed...why? Because the more coins that are being destroyed the lower the starting marketcap, the valueable your investment would be... just saying...
Or there is another way of thinking that it is best to start promoting a coin after it was launched and everything is working. As an "investor", sometimes it is better for the IPO to not sell out entirely... but heh that is just me

That could be, but in the current market where investors are getting screwed over by these developers that code and flee, it wouldn;t instill much investor confidence.

I thought socialxbot (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=744165.0) was the only social currency coin. I might buy some reddcoin by the end of this week.

socialxbot has 50% premine? that might hurt the coin immiediately

Or help the coin. 50% of coins not in circulation and tucked away can actually increase the value of the coin. a premine only hurts the coin if they are marketing it here to us haha...

Never mind I just asked cex support, and the remaining coins from ipo will be destroyed immediately. Great!

Fantastic. Lets get the word out now, we need marketing!

I've updated the OP will be adding a team section today.

Maybe a new mission statement now that things are on track?
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread - Crowdsale has begun[Updates & Discussion] on: August 26, 2014, 12:26:24 AM
Wow.. Gotta say - that client is S-L-I-C-K.. I'm a stakeholder for NEM and NODE, and from what I've seen, the NEM client is definitely nicer to use.. Though this whole NIS / NCC is a bit maddening- couldn't get the one-step installer to work as there was no installation of NCC so far as I can tell.. Otherwise, love it.

Can't wait to watch this grow!

I so badly want this coin to release, but in the time of a coin releasing daily I also don;t want it to release yet... if that makes any sense haha,,,

What is everyone's thoughts on removing the community takeover history from the OP, seems to over complicate the OP, and isn't really relevant to the OP. Maybeit's time to just move on making this your own coin...

And is bit-key/anonymity currently working?

15 hours left until XBM launches. Wanted to thank everyone who believed in the first place.

Thank you for your hard work, determination, and honesty!

Holyshit. Half a million coins were dumped and the price hasn't even flinched. We're at ATH right now and its still climbing steadily. Is dev releasing something today that I don't know about?

Dev said announcement soon. something is brewing.. which explains the price.

You intentionally wrote it, to hide on the previous page my post Huh

I repeat once again for all:

Sly whales specifically put such small orders that would have the entire field was filled and hamsters did not see a big wall at 53K, do not rush to buy, will soon be another dumping to 53-57K on your neurotic desire to jump in quickly on the bandwagon now! earn good money. Mark my words.

I am going to have to buy you a beer if my buy order for 5800 goes...

I do think Arcoin needs a new logo, I don;t think that is it.
