8601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment on: February 26, 2021, 05:34:43 PM
1. Just get on board.
2. BNB, ETH, or LTC. Any of those or you can actually buy all of them with the remaining 20% and just equate and divide the amount dedicated for the remaining 20% into three.
https://cointelegraph.com/magazine/2021/01/29/crypto-in-the-philippines-necessity-is-the-mother-of-adoption

Medyo napaisip ako sa unang part nito saying that Philippines is one of the most active countries in Asia. Hindi sa nagda-doubt ako about it but because I am not feeling that activeness in our country.

Nagcacashout ako in some of these outlets or remittance centers pero wala silang idea about it. They knew coins.ph but they are not familiar with cryptocurrencies.

O ang mga tao ay naghahanap lang ng efficient or safe ways, considering that we are still have the pandemic, to transact their money using these mobile apps or exchanges?
As of now bumagsak bigla yun price ng bitcoin to 50k USD, Baka kasi overbought na eto pero etong price nya ngaun is okay pa naman di ba noon sabi lang sa speculation is hanggang 50k.
$46k pinakamababa niya ngayong araw.
At yun yung bagong ihi-hit, $60k.
8604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about the few days deep on: February 25, 2021, 11:45:55 PM
No, I think the drop is enough. We need a big increase in most crypto prices to make all people think positive again about crypto future.
Crypto won't be the one adjusting just to make everyone have a positive mindset about cryptocurrencies. That's not the idea that you should be thinking.
People must be positive in crypto because of its market and potential not just because of its increasing prices. In early 2018, many have found themselves in trouble because they've thought and impressed of crypto as an increasing only asset.
8605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 25, 2021, 11:12:01 PM
I think the C. Stand news will be big news to wait. if he will not SMB then I think the rumor is correct that he will be traded to Ginebra for Slaughter and I believe Slaughter already knows that and accepted it already, let's just what's going to happen as these are just rumors anyway.
Poor big guy if that's going to happen. But until it's final and it's on the news, we have to wait until it arrives the correct news. But these rumors sometimes if it's coming from a valid source or from someone who knows a lot in the PBA, it's likely an insider.
Well yes, we'll just have to wait.
8606  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MicroStrategy has bought more $1.026 billion worth of Bitcoin. on: February 25, 2021, 10:45:01 PM
That's a huge purchase. Michael and his company know what exactly they're doing. MS is one of the companies that has been stably buying bitcoin, a dip or not. There's also news for it from CNBC.
Now I don't think Saylor and MicroStrategy know exactly what they're doing. Because they could buy BTC below 10k$ during almost 2 years and they didn't do it, they've waited 50k$ and now they are FOMOing at the ATH...  Undecided

You do realise this the their 3rd purchase of Bitcoin to date. Their first purchase was last year at $11,111 or so. Then they made another purchase I think at $25K and then this purchase at $53K, they got a very low average price right now.

Why didn they buy 2 years ago? What changed since then? Did you forget about covid19 ?

Covid19 lead to all this money printing which lead to inflation hence why people are buying anything they can get their hands on to get rid of their dollars. He bought BTC most likely because everything on the stock market was overpriced.
That could be the reason for stocks and overpricing. But I think he's really into it and just like one of us who solely believes in bitcoin. With his statements that have been publicly displayed, it seems that he's really one bullish guy.
But I don't want to be fully believing that he is, he's still one of the biggest players that we have.
8607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sponsor Money from Casino, Is bad or Good? on: February 25, 2021, 10:17:21 PM
I'll be frankly honest, I mean what's the point of the whole sponsorship if an influencer or a YouTube can't withdraw the money that's been given to him by a certain casino? I won't do it if I'm going to be in that situation since I don't see any merits doing so.
It's an x-deal.
There are promoters that are good with whatever deal they'll take from the sponsors. And these sponsors can give any kind of deal that they want to the promoters.
That's why they can just take as much as they want just to give themselves branding and they're being sponsored by a company.
8608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRC 20 is secure as ERC 20 ? on: February 25, 2021, 09:54:24 PM
very safe buddy, TRC20 is a replacement for erc20, many people switch to trc20 or BSC because the cost is very cheap.  erc20 transaction fees are insane so many people leave the erc20 network and switch to the BSC network.
This is the case recently. It's no longer fun to send transactions off ERC20 tokens and ETH network because of the fee. If you have another choice to have such as TRC20 for USDT and you want to save fees, you can give it a try for you to avoid too many fees.
It is the reason why we have several choices for us to experiment and which is going to help us save more in fees.
8610  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Someone bought Bitcoin at $6,000 yesterday on the PDAX. on: February 25, 2021, 04:03:43 PM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/exchange-demands-users-return-bitcoin-bought-for-6k-during-tech-glitch?utm_source=Telegram&utm_medium=social

Their statement:
“It’s very understandable that a lot of users will feel upset they were able to buy what they thought an order was there for Bitcoin at very low prices. But unfortunately, the underlying Bitcoins were never in the possession of the exchange, so there’s never really anything there to be bought or sold.”

If they're selling BTC that is not in their possession, then their exchange is a Scam/Fraud (inflating what's not really in their exchange).
If some endusers were able to transfer btc to their personal wallet, then the statement isn't true. You can't fake a bitcoin that gets transferred to your wallet.

This should be thoroughly investigated and audited by BSP and SEC. How much crypto does PDAX really have in their possession?
8612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we trust Stablecoin ? on: February 24, 2021, 07:55:44 PM
In general, the idea of a Stablecoin is very good and extremely useful for people in crypto circles, but it still remains a crypto coin. I think there is always a chance that something will go wrong and the Stablecoin will depreciate (to be lawsuits against the project or something like that).
Depreciation might really happen for stable coins because they're pegged in US dollars. And if the US dollars go into inflation or drops in value then logically speaking, its value has dropped as well but remains 1:1.
There might be others that won't understand what does depreciation means in terms of value, not in price.
8613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is It Still Profitable To Mine Cryptos In 2021 on: February 24, 2021, 07:19:01 PM
Actually, I have not felled any interest in mining because I am very impressed with trading so almost a lot of time I have been spent in trading.
If you're good at trading, you have to keep doing what you have started there. Because you know how to trade, you can make a lot from it and just as the same as in mining, they're also profitable.

If you have good quality skills in mining then you can do it.
Well, building a rig is one skill but after that, you just let your rig mine the coins for you.

Do you guys have an idea who are those players that coach Topex Robinson is talking about at the end of this article? There will be some additions to their roster.

He is referring to the 7th pick in the draft that they got from Magnolia Hotshots in exchange for Abueva.

Coach Topex is very clear on his statement that he wanted a big man if there is available when it is their turn.

James Laput and Santi Santillan could be a boost to their roster if ever they still not drafted when Phoenix's turn comes.

This year's rookie draft is talent laden and it could be so very deep.
Thanks for giving me an idea and naming names. I have no idea about the big man that he's talking about and can't think of any other name.
But now that I have an idea and all thanks to you.

It turns out the trade of Vic Manuel to the Phoenix was a blessing in disguise for Brian Heruela to still stay in the PBA.

Here's the news that says about it.
Phoenix admits no plan to sign Brian Heruela prior to Alaska trade

Good for him, if his stay with Alaska is fruitful, then surely he will get a new contract, he still has a chance.
Looks like that it is. So, there's a good thing that made this deal happen.
8616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin? on: February 24, 2021, 05:28:23 PM
If I compare among bitcoin and ethereum then I will suggest you to buy ethereum because the price of bitcoin is high.
That's a flawed reason if you stop people from buying bitcoin. It doesn't mean that just because it's expensive, you'll stop them from buying. People can buy bitcoin at any amount at the market's price.

You will be able to buy a good amount of ether. Otherwise, you should invest on TRX, AME, STC, YOUC. All these are much potential at this stage.
And that's the same with bitcoin, you can also buy it on bitcoin.
8617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto memes! on: February 24, 2021, 11:17:13 AM
LOL.
That meme about buying then it keeps on dipping. I always see that in other crypto groups and it's a funny meme to me honestly because that really happens in real life even to me.
And the same when I sell.

8619  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Xian Coin open to p2p? on: February 24, 2021, 04:48:27 AM
