8641  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US exit from United Nations could become reality with fresh bill on: January 24, 2017, 04:05:46 PM
First, I don't think that America will leave UN.
They have a lot influence there, main role in all UN agencies, and also a lot benefits as well.
Second, Trump can't make such decision alone, without US congress.
It's true that Republicans rule in the Congress now but we can't say that Trump control absolutely all Republican members in the Congress. Smiley
I don't believe everything what I read in the newspapers or internet today.
It's better to think with your own brain, based on logic and intellect.

8642  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How important is the Government in the country? on: January 24, 2017, 03:58:36 PM
We don't live any more in jungle, as our ancestors.
We are living in regulated society, protected by the police and army, have health care and other social services etc.
It's impossible to have so well organized society and state without government.
Even first human civilizations, 5000-6000 years ago, had government, army and basic social services.

8643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50,000 unconfirmed transactions on: January 24, 2017, 03:52:08 PM
In fact, I never worried about my btc transactions in the past.
I would just send my bitcoin payment and in a few hours my transaction will be confirmed.
Recently, I was in hurry because i had to pay certain service on time but I had to wait for my btc transaction confirmation almost 48 hours.
It really created problem for me and now, whenever I have to send some btc payment, I worry a lot.
I hope that this problem will be solved somehow.

8644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin related businesses do you own? on: January 24, 2017, 03:47:59 PM
Last year I started online advertising business and, for payment, I accepted several methods including bitcoin.
Unfortunately, business failed but it was very good experience for me and I learned a lot.
Regarding bitcoin, biggest issue was how to avoid financial lost because, usually, bitcoin transaction is confirmed in a few hours, not right away.
A few hours is very long time in bitcoin world and btc price can change a lot.
On the end, I decided to accept bitcoin payments through third party in order to protect myself.
8645  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Kupovina na veliko on: January 24, 2017, 03:37:56 PM
Pokušaj napraviti neku kalkulaciju troškova i zarade a onda odi nekom knjigovođi i provjeri pravne troškove.
Stavi sve na papir i ako si u minusu, kada platiš sve troškove, ostavi se ćoravog posla Smiley

8646  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is real freedom in your view? Are you getting it? on: January 22, 2017, 02:31:04 PM
In my view, real freedom means to be free from evil, hatred, negativity, anger, resentment etc. in short to be free from sin.
Such freedom we can find only with God.
We can't buy such things with money or wealth, no way.
Such things can give us freedom for a day, week or month but not for eternity.
We can't have true, real freedom without God in our life.

8647  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is science a religion? on: January 22, 2017, 02:27:41 PM
It's quite weird actually, I came from a Catholic university in where we have our own researchers and scientists who believes in the theory of Bigbang but they are all Catholics. It kind of contradicts what they really believe in. But for me I think it will not hinder you in science if you have faith in God. As long as you are not offending any other religion I think that is what really matters and you got to stick in what you belive in the most.

It's normal for me, not weird at all.
After all, great scientists like Einstein or Newton, believed in God.
Why?
They researched all great mysteries of the universe and realized that something great and powerful is behind everything.
I think that Science and religion should work together because Science explains external, material world and Religion internal, spiritual world.
For example, when in Bible it's said that Earth is created in 6 days, it doesn't mean literally 6 days with 24 hours.
In other place is said: ''In the eye of God 1 days is like 1 000 years and 1 000 years like 1 day''.
6 days of creation van be 6 periods in God's creation.
Religion can explain internal meaning and purpose of creation and science external effects of created world.

8648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: January 22, 2017, 02:05:42 PM
All together, I earned and spend more than 1 BTC in last year or so.
So, at the moment, I have less than 1 BTC in my wallet but I don't regret because of it.
I invested bitcoin funds in my online business, and some other business project, so now I don't depend only on bitcoin growth in order to maker profit.
The best strategy always is to have eggs in more than one basket Smiley

8649  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can terrorism be stopped on: January 21, 2017, 12:50:26 PM
For me all Muslims are terrorists and I don't trust anyone.

Then you are contributing directly to the root cause of terrorism.  Well done.  Enjoy the war which you helped cause with your discrimination, prejudice and bigotry (I suggest you look those three words up to understand their meaning).  You are literally no different to the terrorist who perceives everyone else as an infidel to be wiped out.

It's true that luck of trust between Muslims and Christians creates division between them and it's foundation for more conflict, hatred, more misunderstanding and it's one of cause why some young Muslims choose terrorism.
We have to work together with Muslim leaders in order to solve problems between Muslim and Christian community.
Muslims have to feel that they are equal, and accepted in our Western societies.
If they feel rejected, as second class citizens, they will turn toward violence, street criminal or worse (Terrorism).
It's very complex issue and politicians, religious leaders, social services, police and others should work together ion order to solve it.

8650  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WILL DONALD TRUMP PERFORMED BETTER THAN OBAMA on: January 21, 2017, 12:40:51 PM
In my opinion, President Obama was great US president.
He started ObamaCare program which helped a lot Americans to have health care for the first time.
He also received Nobel prize for peace.
He rebuild American economy and saved nation from bankruptcy.
He also kept his promise to leave Iraq and Afghanistan.
Can Trump become better US president?
Honestly, I don't think that Trump can do more than Obama, no way.

8651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it? on: January 21, 2017, 12:28:27 PM
I can give concrete example for such question.
When I started to collect bitcoin, its value was about $300, as I remember it.
Recently, value of bitcoin jumped to the sky, it was over $1100.
So, just by collecting bitcoin and keeping it in the wallet, and doing nothing, I earned almost 4 times more money Smiley
8652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: January 21, 2017, 12:24:32 PM
I personally think we should include ecnomy lessons in schools for teenagers and in them explain how the system works.
That was already included but the economy of bitcoin was not taught in the school, we can only learn this if we are active online and we are willing to take risk. Of course, we should be in the right age as kids or minors cannot easily comprehend how the system works, there are a lot of do's and don'ts, they must learn it to use bitcoin properly.

Internet and online payments (including bitcoin) are much more than economy only.
It's connected also with our way of life, human freedom, decentralization, get rid from banks etc.
Economy in the school can't teach content beyond general economy.
I'm sure that our teenagers or children can understand concept of bitcoin much better than older generation, no doubt about it.
8653  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which is the best economic system? on: January 19, 2017, 04:18:10 PM
It's very difficult to answer such question but, in my opinion, the best economic system right now is in Scandinavia.
They have the best social services in the world, average people have good lives and salaries, no social tensions, all men are cared for and have social assistance, health care etc.
The countries are open for business and have a stable tax policy and political stability.
Their economic system may be called social capitalism and works perfectly.
8654  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Space X and the prospects of Mars colonization. on: January 19, 2017, 04:05:15 PM
Personally, this is just a waste of time and money. Although, this type of dream/enterprise has the potential to create new inventions and technology that can help mankind here on Earth, I think that we should instead focus more of our resources in preserving a life-supporting planet -- the only one so far -- in the entire universe and that is the Earth.

I disagree, the nature of human is curious about what they dont know, and keep making something new to make their life better and easy. So sooner or later, human will explore the universe, and earth which the place of first human born will be just fairy tale in the so so distant future. Human is like giant cockroack Cheesy
I am surprised by the willingness of people to colonize other planets. Would it not be better to extend the life on our beautiful planet earth? What is the point to live in inhuman conditions on Mars and destroy the earth.

I agree with you.
We have so much problems to solve here on the Earth like poverty, hunger, wars etc.
Can you imagine if we, instead of spending billions of $ in space program, invest this money in Africa, and help the poor people there?
What is the meaning to send a few people to Mars?
The question is also how they will survive such a trip because of radiation, bone loss and other problems?
What they can achieve there realistically?
Nothing.

8655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Attraction on: January 19, 2017, 03:52:15 PM
Well it's weird but I will say that the unpredictable nature of bitcoins makes it an attractive thing for me to engage in. It's like gambling, I basically derive the fun part of it and feel satisfied. I like to wake up and hear the price either up or gown without necessarily losing money.
I have the same interest as yours Cheesy The feeling of checking bitcoin's price and being surprised every time is kinda cool. You can never know if it will rise dramatically or plummet significantly, you can never predict it. And I think the unpredictability of bitcoin is what makes it special and attract new technology lovers.

It's the same for me Smiley
For me, this is long term project so I'm not in hurry.
I collecting as much bitcoin as I can, in my wallet, and waiting for the moment when bitcoin will become mainstream and top news in the world.
After that, I will enjoy in my reward Smiley
It's great feeling, any way, to be part of something so revolutionary and huge, as bitcoin.

8656  Other / Politics & Society / Re: RELIGION AND TRUTH on: January 17, 2017, 03:24:38 PM
For me, I think that Islamic Jihadist cannot conquered countries, because, I think Islam Jihadist is not that king of bad people. People do bad if you do bad things, just like Islam Jihadist. Jihadist only does terrorism because they want to prove some thing, we cannot assure that they are bad people

I'm sure they cannot conquer other countries. Cause I really believe they are only funded by a much more bigger entity. In which who is to say that it's not those other countries themselves.

They can't conquer other countries, in the same way as other Islam jihadists couldn't conquer Spain or Balkan 500 years ago.
In fact, I don't think it's their primary goal now.
They want to inspire young Muslims in Europe for terrorist attacks in order to create fear and confusion in Europe.
In the same time, they will try to mobilize more Muslims in their countries (Iraq, Syria) for their fight.
They want to become leader of Islam world and replace current political leadership in Islam world.
I'm sure that most Muslims are not radical and will not accept their call-
So, in the long term,. they will loose but in short term they can make a lot damages.

8657  Other / Politics & Society / Re: After death on: January 17, 2017, 03:17:25 PM
Anyone fear death. You cannot run if it is your time of death, you must face if it is your time. For me, I believe in after death, we cannot say where does our souls and body goes after death. You should only believe in God, God knows where we will go.

Very well said.
We fear from unknown, it's natural.
In the Bible is said that God created man according to his image. He created our physical body from the dust and our spiritual body from his spirit.
So, when our physical body dies and return to the earth, our spiritual body returns to God.
It's great to know that our soul is eternal and that we will be reunited with our Creator, Heavenly Father, after physical death.
8658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why people do not get Bitcoin. on: January 17, 2017, 03:12:15 PM
Meh. I don't think it's because metaphorically they can't hear the music, but because they choose not to.

"Don't expect a man to understand something, if his livelihood depends on him being unable to"

Not sure who said that, but it fits a broader explanation for why alot of people reject it: Bitcoin, and all the phenomenon surrounding it, upsets their view of the world, it turns their world-view upside down. And those people don't like what they see, they prefer the eyes-closed/fingers-in-ears approach.

Early on in Bitcoin, I tried convincing someone about BTC by explaining the long-term risks that using fiat money entails. He replied: "Well, maybe when the bond market crashes, the banks fail, the banks requisition all public infrastructure, and hyperinflation ensues, maybe I'll think about Bitcoin once all that has happened". This is what we're up against, lol

I had very similar experiences.
In fact, I think that answer is very simple, people are afraid to try something new.
Most people are content with their lives, jobs, families, friends etc.
They maybe heard about so much failed projects on Internet or that bitcoin is decentralized and without government control.
Many people are scared by such things and don't want to go out of their comfort zone and try something new, revolutionary.
It's more safe just to continue in old ways, without any risk involved.

8659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly can you buy with Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2017, 03:05:19 PM
Right now, in my country, I can buy mostly only digital staff over Internet.
As I know, only a few offline shops accept Bitco0iun for payment and we have only 2 bitcoin ATM in the country.
Because of this, and some other reasons, I mostly keep my bitcoin funds in the wallet.
I really don't see some good place tom spend my bitcoin for now Smiley
8660  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why God exists in all people mind? on: January 15, 2017, 10:46:40 AM
Once I was giving a (semi-)TED lecture about this topic.
I gave it the title "Games of Throne", and talked about the struggles and conflicts between the government or the rulerships and the priests or the religion leaders.
The main source I had was "Tractatus Theologico-Politicus" (Theologico-Political Treatise) by Baruch Spinoza.
The conclusion of this lecture was "...Man created God in his own image" (Ludwig Feuerbach)

Interesting story, do you have this lecture online?
It will be interesting to read it.
I don't agree with your conclusion that man created God.
God is creator of all universe.
So, if you say that man created creator of universe, it means that man created all universe to.
It's not logic conclusion.
Science is not yet perfect and still many things can't explain, including our own mind.
