8641  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC moon again? Yes. on: April 28, 2018, 06:57:34 AM
IMO, I'm just saying that it will really reach again that marked in the future but not too soon, seeing as how bitcoin struggles to get past the $10,000 mark despite its great recovery from the $6000 deficit last month. Anyways, if price continues to recover, despite some little dips a long the way, probably by october and above, we could see the price nearing or surpassing that price.
Anyone that is even expecting something like that too soon is obviously not serious and is asking for too much. The moon is what no one should be expecting at this stage as we will still get to see some series of ups and downs and probably some level of consolidation before we can even start considering mooning up to go test the previous ATH. The good thing is we may get past it and the basic thing is we may come back down; however, the thing here is that the future is still great.

The holder will make handsome amount if they wait for some more time, because now the price is on the move upwards and I guess it will be more than 10k till the end of the next month.
More than just $10k ? That is your definition of hitting moon ? Probably a short term target for most people here. But, what I always suggest to all the people I do meet and discuss about bitcoin is, keep holding until bitcoin hit million dollar levels. Their next question most of the time is, when it will hit that levels but I do answer them only a smile and nod.
8642  Economy / Speculation / Re: 82% of Institutional Crypto Investors Believe Bitcoin Price Has Bottomed on: April 28, 2018, 06:14:12 AM
Most of the time investors are going to be divided about where we are, whether this is a recovery or not and that we will see the price decreasing again, but when we have so many investors agreeing on the same thing then you can be very sure that they are most likely right and I think that many people in the forum will agree with them as well.
Well, the institutional investors will make the world to believe what they want to believe and most especially their followers. First, they believed, and that does not make the statement affirmative. Secondly, anything can change and which they will always know what to do at any point in time which as far as I am concerned, they are some caucus anyway.

All the above, looking at the behavior of the market and the weekly chart, we can see that the market is actually showing some long term signal of growth after breaking out from the downtrend, let's just hope the market does not come with any more surprises that tends otherwise.
8643  Economy / Marketplace / Re: A tool to avoid scammers on: April 28, 2018, 04:03:48 AM
I just visited the website .. its a good and very informative site thanks for sharing this site
Scam and Scammers are everywhere as well as impersonating someone also just by sharing this site that
we can use to avoid them very helpful
Yeah, most especially in this day and age that almost everyone is trying to get rich as quick as possible in their own best way. It is important to always be careful and this is a resource that can actually be helpful for those who are basically looking for mentors as well in their future investment. As long as you can also do some digging on your own to add up to what you are getting, I believe everyone in that category should always be fine.

Cryptoinfluence is actually a very good tool for the newbies who may be looking for influencers in the community and can even direct them to the right spot on who to follow and listen to and who not to follow as the case may be. However, it is still very important that people should learn not to just follow everyone just like that but at least be able to do some analysis on their own so as to get a lot of benefit as well in this crypto world with based on their own decisions but this is really a nice one and thanks for sharing.
8644  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin global regulation on: April 27, 2018, 11:34:09 AM
What it would take for other countries to allow Bitcoin though, if currency is being primarily aimed and other government would just see it as an investment rather than a medium to pay expenses? Does it need to be more stable in price? I am quite happy that major countries supported these. Japan? They were the one that used Bitcoin to its fullest, so it is like a lock-in that Bitcoin is stable already there.
By stability I want to assume you are referring to well established. Actually this is something we will get to see with bitcoin being regulated in most places, Still we cannot have one single global regulation as each country will definitely come up with their own form of regulation and how they wish to go about it and some others will just be silent on it as it is already. Whichever way though, regulation by some of those in the top developed countries will bring trust and maturity into the system.

Hopeful this positive trend will be introduced to the bitcoin soon, we will see the regulation of bitcoin in future but a bit time will be taken, slowly gradually bitcoin will become famous d it will be legal.
First, bitcoin is not being regulated everywhere as you have said. I believe there are so many countries that are actually not officially regulating it yet while just few are. Comparing the number of those who have just been silent on the whole thing, I believe they are more than those who are even condemning it. The thing with regulation for sure is that it would bring in new level of growth as we get to see more potential investors coming in.
8645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $150 Ethereum. How can I grow/increase this amount? on: April 27, 2018, 10:18:22 AM
You can trade the ethereum for other new coins whose market caps are still very low so the prices are cheap and then you can hold those coins for the prices to pick up and then you can sell and make money
ICO and trading are actually the best things to do in this case but with that amount of money, trading would actually be the best bet. However, there is no further investment that does not come with risk but this is where knowledge is always going to be needed to be able to not let that huge risk get a huge hand of you.

Most people make the mistake of losing their money because they are always too lazy to study and you cannot invest in both of these without at least studying to get some skills to be able to avert some unwanted risks.
8646  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: April 27, 2018, 08:46:42 AM
you can choose to risk your money by investing in altcoins, which means you must be willing to lose almost all your money because altcoins can even fall to more than 80% of your value if something goes wrong, or you choose to invest in bitcoin for long-term, which will give you more security and comfort in the future. Diversify is very good, but you run a lot of risks if you invest in projects that are not good, my advice is that you just stay in bitcoin
Altcoins have a way to at least serve their own purpose anyway which is buy in the dip during accumulation which they usually reach the bottom most of the time and sell into FOMO to increase your bitcoin and that is all they are ever good for.

I am sure altcoin fans will not like that, but I have only gotten to see few altcoins that are actually sustainable in growth without the to and fro bottom to top movement. I really do not see altcoins as investments, probably for the short term profits which they are anyway. For so many reasons, I would rather choose only bitcoin and use alts as a way to increase the bitcoin that I have in the long run.

I am not against altcoins as some of them may actually have a good demand in the future based on the project that they may have, so, in that case, just to at least get some pretty good profits, I may go into some of them but just very few. Altcoins are risky and trying to diversify into more risky environment really does not sound right. For long term investment except if the OP is willing to trade some of his altcoins along the line, I would rather stick my head with bitcoin.
8647  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: April 27, 2018, 08:01:07 AM
The risk in the virtual currency market is the risk of losing some or all of its capital when the investor performs the investment or virtual currency transaction. Identify the risks before conducting a transaction, helping them to know the specific loss rate in each case of investment will be how to, minimum and maximum how to decide the scale of investment, the first time investment, time of investment completion, and other relevant factors.

Truly that cryptocurrency is full of risk but these what you called risk will dictate if it will be profitable or not because the more risk you will take the more profit you will have. These things can be seen mostly in investment. Anyway, every transactions we take risk is always present so all we need to do is to take it.
Mostly we cannot even consider the risk now to those who started investing in early days of cryptocurrency which to me even looked more risky. Moreover, life is that it is better to try than to regret not trying at all which by then it may have been too late.

Anyone who is investing in cryptocurrency should have been able to understand the risk to know that as long as you are investing here, the risk is just the volatility but it has been there for a long time but the future is all that counts and if you want to manage it effectively, trading should be the best option which you have to learn.
8648  Economy / Speculation / Re: My bullish Bitcoin prediction on: April 27, 2018, 07:24:16 AM
Kwukduck? I'm pretty sure that he is just around the corner, we missed his so called prediction. lol.

We just surpassed $9500 so its going to very touch as we get closer to $10K. I'm seeing maybe a minor corrections before surging past $10K and staying there for good. I haven't seen any positive news that really push this market to this level but a lot of speculation as to what have causes the sudden response to pour their cash again and renewed their interest.

So yeah, $10K can be hit at the end of the month and we might march towards $12K-$15K in the next couple of months but its going to be tough road to navigate again.
I would even say a lot of robots are just there driving the price and squeezing out all marginal traders in both short and long positions. The little correction should help us determine a support for now which if we get to find, we should go back to test $9700 and likely break it. Nothing much is really driving this market based on demand and I thought by now, we should possibly be in the consolidation phase. But as it is, the market is always going to be full of surprises in coming weeks. Hence reaching $12K-$15K will not be a big problem like how bitcoin has done in last year.
8649  Economy / Speculation / Re: After " Destroying Bitcoin " prices went up on: April 27, 2018, 06:30:08 AM
Have you seen that MIT technology review explaining 3 ways to destroy Bitcoin ? It is from a month ago.

Well I won't discuss that, but briefly, imo they have too much imagination, for real, it's all biased.

So basically, even with this news the prices went up from about 7k at the time to the prices that are now. I learned that Bitcoin prices usually fluctuate due to bad news, but I started to follow prices only this year. What kind of news would make the prices decrease ? Anyone remembers one ?

Most of us have the impression that the Bitcoin price drops after bad news but this isn't accurate most of the time. If I am not wrong I remember lately that the Chinese exchanges' ban made the price drops (i have a shitty memory btw), while when the US auctioned +3k BTC, the price wasn't affected.
Same thing goes for good news.
It is never accurate as far as I am also concerned. The thing is there are some news that can actually spring up some reaction in the market, but really I just see as the whales and traders reacting to it and most of the time, the sentiments around may actually not go in hand with the movements on the chart which has made me to believe that no one can actually use news to judge the market movement unless we sure believe it is something that is worth listening to. Most investors are not actually stupid anyway.

Does anyone really care about news anymore? It is glaring that news are just some ways to make some gullible people get themselves screwed into missing out from the future in the long run. MIT technology reviewing how they can destroy bitcoin is actually absurd and I wonder why anyone would want to pay attention to such news. The market react based on how it wants to react at every present moment based on most especially how the whales and traders want to do their thing.
8650  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: April 27, 2018, 05:25:53 AM
First of all educate yourself and gain knowledge it will take you to take right decisions.Trading is the name of patience learn to control the emotions and never take decisions in panic.Keep eye on the market buy in low and sell in high but keep in mind dont put all eggs in one box must diversify the investment.
Not even educating yourself will make you jeopardize your earning and it is good that a lot of people have emphasized on this. However, I would like to add, that it is one thing to educate yourself and it is another thing not to rush into it even with that knowledge you have gained.

It is always necessary to give some time into practicing as well with a little bit and then this would give you some confidence. There is a reason why in schools and institutions, you have to pass through one level to get to the other, never jump a phase just because you want to quickly start making money.
8651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason people do not want to invest in crypto on: April 27, 2018, 04:42:11 AM
They are afraid to risk their money because they have no knowledge on it and they think bitcoin is all scam. Another factor is the people around them saying bitcoin is not worth it and you will surely lose all of your money but the reality is the opposite of what they saying. It may take some time to fully learn what is bitcoin but if you really want to change the way your life is then bitcoin is one of the simplest way to earn it. And if you are one of them you need to change the way you think and start your journey in crypto world.
I can remember vividly that so many people in 2009/10 really just invested a tiny little amount they can at least say if things end up going wrong but I believed in this technology, I believe it would work and if it does not, at least I know that I tried and they were able to factor in that risk into their investment.

$1 of investment in 2009 would have been nothing and imagine what that would have been now. I guess people are not just getting the real picture and some keep taking the idea even in the wrong way.
8652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't care about the price now. Nobody knows how much my portfolio is worth on: April 26, 2018, 06:27:54 PM
That is one way to go about it but you would be best served checking in on your investments from time to time. Your nonchalant behavior makes me think you have an amount invested you could lose yet still retire early from and that would give me confidence as well. Even if you do check price regularly, there wouldn't be a point to disclose your portfolio often. That puts an unnecessary bulls eye target on your back.
That is really how everyone should be investing in this market, most especially when you are looking at the long term benefit. Invest what you would not worry about and come back few years later to check how your investments have been doing over the years.

This is the only way to stay in this game without bothering yourself about every little move in the market as long as you understand the benefit you stand to gain in the future. I remember buying few ETH last year at around $8. Just last year, come on! While some people are crying about the market going way low to $400, you are imagining how much you have gained even with the dip.
8653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: April 26, 2018, 05:38:46 PM
Some people think that strong feeling affect the outcome of your bet. But for me its all about luck., what do you think guys.

Yes positivity is always be the key to become successful in everything that we do. So being positive when playing gambling will be an edge for you to won. It is just an additional factor to gained a huge profit.
The first statement really made my day but adding the second sentence just spoiled my day immediately.
Positive thinking is good generally in life and it is not an offense in thinking positively in gambling as long as you are not allowing that positive thinking to get you out of reality.

Gambling is gambling and as far as I am concerned, you will always have more chances of losing than winning. Sure, have your thinking to be positive, but at the same time, always discipline yourself to know when to discard the positive thinking and know when it is not just your day.
8654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you won/lost on bitcoin gambling ? on: April 26, 2018, 05:08:33 PM
I lose around $400-500 in total on btc gambling, but i am quite lucky the fact that i am able to make the amount and much more from investing in btc the money i lose is the money i make from btc so i can say actually i am not losing a single cent.
You guys are even checking how much you have lost in gambling. I must say at some point I actually lost count not because I did not know what I was doing but because I stopped taking gambling seriously.

I started well though, and I can remember that I started gambling with about 0.4btc which was really worth nothing that much back then which I was able to luckily increase to about 0.76btc and I really wish I just kept that in my wallet and stopped gambling but you know how the story all ends. I only ended up dashing out more at the end.
8655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: The Seven Deadly Sins on: April 26, 2018, 04:31:42 PM
Gambling has never been part of life. You can live a normal life and get rich without gambling. It can make you either poor or rich. But it is going to be your choice whether to be poor or rich because you can gamble and be aware of your limits. Gambling can teach you lots of things, but once you are addicted to it, it will turn you to the dark side, and it will be hard to get out of it. And by the way, what do you mean by shitcoin and pure one?
I believe that is just a way certain people always console themselves, by thinking they can just keep gambling their way through out life. Basically it is a human nature like for engaging into something unnecessary, they all need some reasons. By consoling themselves, they are actually cheating them themselves. Yes, nothing more than that.

You are certainly right as gambling should never be perceived to be part of life, and it is a life that each and every one who gambles has decided to choose and few people are always there trying to control this nature so it does not get out of hand while a lot of people always end up screwing up badly.

Yes, gambling is a choice as far as I am too concerned but a part or way of life is a big NO !
8656  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin price ready to touch the moon..?? on: April 26, 2018, 03:55:41 PM
Probably yes.Bitcoin price is now starting to fly high to the moon. From 8K USD a few days ago now it reaches up to 9.4K USD. And is still increasing day by day.Anyway, we still have a long way to go so better hope and pray that its value will keep going upward for us to enjoy the targeted profits we would like to earn at end of this year.
You call that flying to the moon ?
That is just a piece of cake compared to how the market can react once there is a sell off as well. I know we have tested some pretty good point and broken past resistance that we all would not have expected but I really do not see how we can start calling the moon now when we the market has not even decided which way yet.

Hopefully we will be lucky if we get to the previous ATH this year and before we may start seeing new ATHs, I may say probably next year.
8657  Economy / Speculation / Re: Total Marketcap is rising, start of bullish market? on: April 26, 2018, 01:35:38 PM
I think it's very important to keep that option in mind. With the crypto markets, it's very hard to pinpoint when exactly the markets might flip around. However, as of now, the general market has been showing pretty strong signs of a flip.

It is reassuring but as you mentioned it is hard to predict what will happens.
Price currently over $9000 but consolidation is still required to maintain this goal Smiley
Always hard to predict what will ever happen but fundamentally, things are actually looking pretty good for the general market. I believe we will get to see the altcoin market make the move first before we will get to see bitcoin making any move. I want to also believe we will not get to see some strange things that would come spoil the fun. It is about time we started seeing some action in the market after the long period of market decline anyway. Marketcap is an attractive thing which induce most investors to come forward to invest with. Even marketcap is not doing anything with real time applications, many people still consider it as a big factor to compare markets to choose the best investment opportunity.
8658  Other / Archival / Re: Is there is any chance to hit Bitcoin 11k ? on: April 26, 2018, 01:01:29 PM
By next week, probably not. And I hope it doesn't. We don't want bitcoin to go parabolic again, strong and stable growth is much better because it comes without all of the hype and then all of the FUD that follows.
Yeah, I really do not see this happening next week either. The thing is that a lot of people always expect that these things will just happen in a matter of days. The market needs a lot of time and from the look of things, we are correcting from the last run before we go test the $11k and I see that taking up to mid-May before we can even get to see anything serious.

I also like the sanity in the market right now honestly, as there is no congestion, transactions are pretty fast, and the market is taking its time and so on. Bull run is just not my thing but no one can stop it if it comes.
8659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CAUTION] MyEtherWallet(MEW) hijacked (April 24, 2018) on: April 26, 2018, 05:10:47 AM
Damn hackers! Why don't they use their technology to do something useful to others? Why should we steal the fruits of others' hard work? Disgusting behavior!
I guess they will never stop as long as this space is concerned. Apparently, they would not want to see it that way and just the same way we have good people, we will always have bad people and this is the way the world works. However, it is really something that anyone who wants to be in the digital world should try as much as possible to get used to considering that the only way to be safe is to know how to be safe yourself.

I would always recommend using Metamask in any occasion to login to MEW or at least using a hardware wallet which guarantees more safety.
8660  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why does it call "market will never sleeps"? on: April 25, 2018, 06:29:00 PM
There are different time zones, for example , not to mention trading bots and so on.

Yes we are already aware with that. Every country do have their different time zones but that does not meant they arent sleeping anymore . You know , sleeping is verry essential to the body and we need it in order for us to become healthy and have an adequate energy that will fuel us for the next day. The term market never sleeps is only a popular saying or a quote that usually refer to a hardworking people or a business organization.
Whoever wants to be following the market every time of the day without sleeping will actually need to tell me how they are really going about it ? The market is full of a lot of potentials and this is one of them, but it is better to always find a way to adapt since trading obviously will need someone with the right sense of mind and not sleeping because the market is not sleeping is actually not a good thing for anyone.

I have noticed though that sometime even when I am sleeping, I am still dreaming the market as my mind is on my holdings. I guess that is the way the market is going to keep playing with our minds until we finally get used to it.
