8641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 04, 2017, 11:11:16 PM
Gambling is not addictive by itself like most of the drugs are also not addictive, addiction usually develops in people who have no purpose in life, simply bored or depressed. People start gambling uncontrollably because it gives them strong emotional stimuli, which they lack in everyday life. So to break gambling addiction people need to fix their life, find some new hobbies, friends, do sports.

8643  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MultiPlayer Tank Game (Bitcoin Integration) Suggestions On Monetization on: February 04, 2017, 02:07:35 PM
Hi, long time mmo gamer here.

It's hard to tell what will be the best monetization strategy for your game without knowing all details about it, but I'll give you some directions.

You can make a stretegy similiar to LoL where you can gain ingame currency for purchasing new items (in your case it will be new tanks and mods for them) for each game, but also can purchase it for BTC. This way free players will feel themselves on the same ground as those who spend, because buying items won't give you any edge, just allows you to access that content faster. And than you can make cosmetic content like skins, announcers, banners, avatars, etc. distributable only for BTC.
8644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's TOYS, do you like it??? on: February 04, 2017, 01:32:45 PM
Imo it's a really dumb idea, kids like toys based on something already popular like superheroes, cartoons, etc., or something very unique and original like Lego. All other things just fail most of the time, because children compare them with other toys. And it's really naive to think that you can promote something by making it a toy and that kids will get imprinted by this toy for the rest of their life. Better focus on something more productive like thinking how to distribute Bitcoin to a larger amount of people to increase its adoption.
8645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: February 03, 2017, 09:59:27 PM
Every single gambling house has a limit on a maximum win per 1 bet, so sooner or later martingale will hit that limit and fail which means failure over the long run. Gambling can't be profitable by definition, because otherwise people would drain bankrolls in seconds, since modern online casinos allow up to 10 bets per second, which is enough to quickly test any strategy. Investment in bankroll on the other hand will have a high chance of returning you profit, but it will be very slow.
8646  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Every Country Needs Bitcoin Payment Processors on: February 03, 2017, 01:39:26 PM
In our country we have two payment processors - Coingate and Spectrocoin. But it's still not become popular. Business are not very intersted to accept bitcoins because they don't know much about it or have negative opinion. And maybe these services are not advertised enough to get attention.

Merchants are afraid about using bitcoin because of two reasons.
1.The goverments can decide to ban bitcoin and all their btc revenue might dissapear.
2.Risk of getting scammed when they try to trade their btc revenue for fiat money.
Yes,they still have to use fiat money despite the fact that they will adopt bitcoin.

There are much more reasons like price volatility, confirmation time, legal paperwork, etc. Also many merchants just don't see any benefit since Bitcoin adoption is relatively low, so accepting it will not boost their sales significantly. And to increase adoption we need to start with creation of bitcoin jobs, so people can earn and later spend bitcoins.
8647  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 03, 2017, 11:21:58 AM
Atm faucets give a little bit of income. Those signature campaigns look interesting. I might give that a shot when the time is right.

I'm sure that if instead of faucets you spend that time on studying, learning new skill or developing some project, you'll get a much higher returns. Translations, basic design, basic coding, etc. would let you earn much more than clicking on faucets for pennies.

8649  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 01, 2017, 04:03:38 PM
Gambling would be a good source for btc if you don't get greedy ,though signature campaigns remain the popular choice for many of us to earn decent amounts.
Am considering learning how to make good sigs for btc!

Can you explain how gambling can be profitable if there is a house edge, which means that your risk will always be higher than your reward?

8651  Economy / Services / Re: i can mentor to make Insane ammount of Bitcoins on: January 28, 2017, 04:46:59 AM
Any offers that promise you to double or triple your money in a very short term are extremely suspicious, even if they are posed as "free lessons", "shared secrets" etc. First, people who know real methods never reveal them and keep using them as long as they work. Second, there will most probably be some catch in this sort of deals, like you'll have to make some bets or investments, maybe buy some goods to resell them later, etc., so you will be risking your money. If OP speaks the truth, he'd be in a very big risk if he shares some profit-making secrets, because people could just get them from him and refuse to pay 50% of their profit. I know this, because a few years ago I myself was in situation when I tried to sell my money making method for one game, and everyone just vanished after learning my method.
8652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 27, 2017, 11:44:30 AM
I think you guys are missing OP's point here when you tell how Bitcoin is used for illegal activities. OP tried to start discussion about Bitcoin's impact on monetary crimes like counterfeiting, bank robberies, some types of scams like Paypal's charge back, etc. So, in my opinion Bitcoin can be really secure and help prevent some crimes as long as the user makes takes care about security, because there are some vulnerabilities like viruses that steal people's private keys or exchanges and other web wallets getting hacked.
8653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: January 27, 2017, 09:01:34 AM
IMO earning fiat and buying Bitcoin with it is the best way, many methods suggest here are too risky (gambling, trading, some forms of investing), other methods, like signature campaigns or faucets will yield very small amounts. Working for Bitcoin can be good, but it's really rare so you can't rely on it. So building your career in fiat world and using your earning to buy BTC is the best way.
8654  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Communism will be the end of BTC on: January 26, 2017, 07:54:46 PM
What do you mean "hard-fork money out of my wallet"? No one can alter the blockchain, they can only create their own version of blockchain, but it will just be a new altcoin, lets name it commie-coin. And I'm pretty sure that it won't be able to compete with BTC on free market that we have now. But in case there will suddenly be communist revolutions all over the world, btc and other cryptocurrencies would still be used for black market, while communist government will issue their own highly controlled digital currencies and tokens.
8655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 26, 2017, 10:58:30 AM
Bitcoin is considered to be the current currency even today. We can shop with Bitcoin. We trade in Bitcoin stock exchanges. We can exchange services for BTC. I do not need to wait for the future. Even now bitcoin has become a valid currency.

You can shop with Bitcoin in a very-very few places compared to the global market.

If you can trade it it doesn't meat that it's currency, it only means that it's an asset.

Again, very small amount of services is being provided for Bitcoin.

So, Bitcoin is a currency as long as two sides agree on it and use it as payment method. If you'll go to your closest shop and ask if you can pay in BTC you will most likely hear "What's Bitcoin?" and then "No, fiat only". This illustrates that Bitcoin is a small currency, because very few people use it, most people haven't even heard the word.
8656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: January 26, 2017, 08:31:10 AM
I've been following this thread for quite a while, as I'm also an investor of one of the mentioned gambling sites. I really like this comparisons and charts of bankroll investments, keep the good work up  Smiley

Recently I've discovered YOLOdice.com, and they offer not only traditional investment option, but also leveraged investment with up to x10 leverage. Would you be interesting in adding them to your list to see how leveraged investments perform comparing to standard investments?
8657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICO: CGC PROJECT Online Card Games -Refund now- New ICO on exchange soon! on: January 25, 2017, 12:29:14 AM
I was a part of CGC signature campaign and I got paid in time.I am glad that CGC is back to announce Rocket ICO which they promised.
This shows highest level of professionalism and dedication on devs part towards the project.I am damn sure that yobit ico will set new records.Smiley

Most of the negativity in this thread came from people who don't understand the rules described in the first post, because they can't even read English.

I'm glad that CGC Dev keeps us updated and hope that Rocket ICO will gather the funds needed for further development of the project. Good luck to CGC and all its investors and supporters (myself included  Smiley).
8658  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: January 24, 2017, 07:28:35 AM
Investing in gambling site's bankroll is one of the most common advises here, but what I found recently is that some casinos also allow you to make leveraged investments. As casino mathematically expects to have a long term profit, you can get a decent return from a smaller investment, but your risk will also be higher. Also, some exchanges offer leveraged trading, so if you are really good at it, you can increase your returns.
8659  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: January 24, 2017, 07:15:54 AM
You can try participating in some affiliate programs, basically you share your referral link and earn money after your referrals make some spendings. Keep in mind that you should be smart and creative with this work, simply spamming your link won't get you anything, so prepare a good text and post it in the right place.
8660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to create own bitcoin gambling site? on: January 23, 2017, 06:47:48 AM
Hello everyone,
How to create own bitcoin gambling site?
Is this really for usually user?

I want open cool bitcoin game!
I like gambling and play every day!

I can't stop!

Help me please.

Anyone who wants to open a gambling site needs to use services of professional developers and security specialists. Badly written casino would be an easy target for hackers who will exploit your games and drain your bankroll in just a few minutes. And also Bitcoin gambling becomes more and more saturated, so you need something cool and unique to compete with other gambling sites, that have been operating for years.
