The problem is, can the Bitcoin Cash SV network maintain handling 64mb blocks 24 hours a day, everyday, for decades, without scaling the network in?
This will never be a problem. BCH has trouble coming close to filling its blocks, there's no reason why SV wouldn't also. BTC also had problems filling blocks. All the way up to the scaleapocalypse. We know how this story ends. Yeah but the difference is people actually use BTC for purposes other than coddling their own egos. Nobody wants yet another altcoin pretending to be BTC. Also, BTC survived pretty well for being in an apocalypse.

This will never be a problem. BCH has trouble coming close to filling its blocks, there's no reason why SV wouldn't also. But I believe the ABC, and SV developers are each doing good science experiments though. Keep it up.
You have a valid point here, I just don't care for the heavy-handed psy ops that leaders of alternative chains use in order to promote their own economic interests. Their main tactic seems to be introducing more confusion into an area that the general population already finds dauntingly confusing.

Looks like a few things might have happened: - they got delisted from an exchange (that was trading at a high price) - coinmarketcap got wind of their attempt to manipulate their rankings and is reconfiguring their listing - there's some kind of swap currently underway

That's a pretty sad story... I guess the victims didn't know that coins.ph doesn't pay "interest"? A few months back I noticed on Facebook there was a flood of groups using variants of the name "Coins.ph Users" and so forth that were all just places where scammers could promote their telegram bots / cloud mining programs / ponzi schemes.. And you had loads of people commenting "Paano?" (how?) or "Still paying?" or "Legit?" It's like no man, none of them are ever "legit." People are tripping over themselves to join up with the next scam. Why can't people learn? A lot of them have been shut down but new ones pop up in their place every day. But this isn't only a problem for Philippines, we can find Ponzi all around the globe. Some local friends (in Mexico) told me they were investing in bitcoin, but their broker told them to better invest in OneCoin, he say that's better than bitcoin. If you go to google and search one coin you will see how it's a clear ponzi. Even wikipedia says it. So, the first rule to not fall into ponzi is to understand the easy money doesn't exist.
Sounds like an awful "broker"! How could somebody be a professional money person and not know how to recognize a Ponzi?

I think this thread has single-handed proven that bounty hunters aren't very key to the success of a project. Most of you regurgitate the same words over and over again; there's very little originality in the things any of you have to say and I don't know why people would ever click on the signature beneath your text. ICOs continue to offer bounties as a cheap way of advertisement but without quality control they're just as likely to have a negative effect on the outcome of their project as a positive.

Current thinking:
- Extremely interested: grin
Hmm, interesting, never heard of it before. "Grin has no amounts and no addresses...
MimbleWimble leverages cryptography to allow most of the past transaction data to be removed."Thanks for the heads up.

Wonder if Theymos has any new favorites these days, though I highly doubt it.
I think he was a bit harsh on Counterparty -- it was revolutionary at the time of its release, brought about a user-friendly way to develop tokens ("colored coins") that ride on the bitcoin network.
If anything this proves that Theymos doesn't absolutely hate all altcoins, he just thinks they're far inferior compared to BTC.
He was right about BCH -- never came close to flippening BTC.

I have to disagree to your point, it's a valid reason for someone not to get merit for the quality or the actual content of their posts, English on the other hand is not a scale for post quality by any means. nobody is obligated to speak perfect English unless they are getting paid to do exactly that. Many of us here "including myself" speak a poor to average English, as long as one can deliver their point, that alone should be enough. Just FYI, as far as the population of this forum is considered, I would place your English competency at "above average" to "good." I read some of your other posts and you're much more competent at it than most. I agree with what you're saying -- its not fair if your native language isn't English, but in the case being referenced the poor post quality is compounded by the bad spelling, grammar, punctuation. Even if they fix all the mistakes they are still mediocre posts at best. Also, I believe that the merit system isn't really intended to punish mediocrity but reward inventiveness. You can't demerit people for bad posts, after all. --- I remember smaragda... That guy was annngery! Gonna read what posts he left for us right now, lol.

Haha. Thats.... cute.
The SV network sucked down a block bigger than 64 MB recently.
And was hungry for more.
In minutes.
Better than 480 tx/s, yo.
That sounds massive, was there a special need for a 64mb block at that moment. Not at all. And it wasn't "recently," it was once, ever. https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/9ymkiw/64mb_block_mined_on_sv/Much like everything else that has to do with SV it was completely manipulated. The fastest average transactions per second SV has ever recorded was 3.34, and that was also only in 1 hour of 1 day. https://bsvexplorer.io/blocksNot to mention, the average block size for SV is currently about 10 KB. https://bsvexplorer.io/tx-statsThe whole "appeal" of BCH was "bigger blocks," and did it catch on with the mainstream? No. So yet another altcoin whose whole premise is "even bigger blocks" (supported by even bigger egos btw) is doomed to fail.

So basically what you're doing is taking the longest shot from each race? I looked at the results and a lot of these horses came in dead last -- but you can't be too surprised. It must feel pretty good when you do get a winner.
I did read your other thread, and I have to say, the whole thing sounds intriguing. I don't have much extra money to throw around at the moment, hence my signature campaign involvement. If I did perhaps I'll try it some time. What is your favorite BTC sportsbook for placing horse racing wagers?

BTCP is HIDDEN PREMINE SCAMRHETT CREIGHTON is SMALL DICK LITTLE MAN who create BTCP is HIDDEN PREMINE SCAMEVERETT FORTH is SMALL DICK LITTLE MAN who create BTCP is HIDDEN PREMINE SCAM You might know this already but both of these names belong to the same dude, who apparently already has a history of being a scammer: https://cryptocoremedia.com/rhett-chreighton-scammer/He is likely the guy who injected the 2 million coins that got added to the shielded address(es). I'm out, this coin is going to 0, sorry ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) And why do you feel the need to inform us? Why can't you sell your coins quietly? Unless you want to spread FUD, and buy cheap BTCP. There's no good reason to hold this coin anymore. It's not a matter of FUD, just simple facts.

Glad to hear Ron Paul is still alive and kicking, doing his thing. Man helped birth over four thousand babies, lol. He was my favorite politician before Bernie Sanders came along. Funny how these champions of the poor and the underdog that get the youth motivated to come out and vote are these ancient fuddy duddy types. There's no question in my mind that had Bernie Sanders won the democratic nomination he would have also won the presidency.

Any news on why the Counterwallet servers are down? I know there's alternatives but I was just checking to see if anybody had any info on what's going on.
Counterparty was a great idea, but yeah the truth is it got passed up by a number of projects. If memory serves me correctly most of the original bitcoin burners were pretty salty for years; now they've probably given up on XCP altogether.
It needed (needs) some kind of major overhaul to make it more appealing for the users -- counterwallet has been using the exact same interface for almost 5 years!
With all the XCP I spent registering assets I could probably have about $1000 myself right now instead, but that's the way she goes.

Glad to see Wright in the lead... At least he can be the winner of something this year ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I mean, if you haven't read this letter he wrote to Ver at the onset of the "hash war." He makes Ver seem like a nice, honest, sane individual by comparison: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fethereumworldnews.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2018%2F11%2FDre7br5X4AA18r9.jpg&t=664&c=AGBAUE2bRcilDQ) I can nearly see Craig's tears when I read this. Talk about drama queen ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) And of course not a single part of this letter is correct or came to fruition.

It is bounty hunters who promote the project and almost free of charge, so I think that you should not underestimate their role in the promotion of projects.
Yeah but they also do things like hack and buy legendary accounts to shill for questionable Ethereum token projects such as the one in your signature space. Then when they do, they write uninteresting, mindless jibberish that's been typed on this forum a thousand times before... How is that supposed to appeal to anybody? Its not. They're just like those guys who hold signs of arrows outside of businesses and flip them around, which requires about the same amount of intellect.

Website is down, scam is over with.
I don't know why that guy doesn't just make a new account rather than continuously use his red tagged account to self promote.
All the newb accounts saying "c'mon guys, just try it, its fun!" was a nice touch.

Phew buddy. That's a pretty awful Christmas story and I'm sad to hear it.
Just FYI, $50 isn't a "small bet." 100 satoshis is a small bet.
I would definitely place you in the "high roller" category, though I know not everybody feels the same.
Sounds like you're addicted to the thrill, may want to lay off it for a while. By your descriptions of things I'd say its probably not the end of the road for you. So keep your chin up.
And consider taking up drinking, its far less expensive!

see! Endor increases the price in the coinmarketcap, the current price reaches $ 0.053134 USD up 4.65% today, I really missed the information and late to buy it, maybe this is the effect of listing at UPBIT ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) The presence of this retard aka shill account here (we don't believe in negative IQ of the human being, right?) clearly describes the state of this scam project. Moron excited about 5% rise in price when actually it was pumped and dumped by +170% within few hours today. I don't think the team has much control over who does what once a coin is listed on a major exchange. I sincerely doubt they are the ones behind the "pump" (looks more like high volatility than a pnd to me), or that this project is a "scam."

Run everybody they are incoming! Original on 1st page: Someone should make a script, that users, posting combinations like “good project” “ strong team” “ great project” “good article” and etc, in posts that are shorten than 75 characters immediately should be reported.
