8661  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ethereum Dark is a SCAM ! on: November 19, 2017, 09:18:09 AM
I don't support it particularly; I think the whole community is made of people who want quick easy money and most of them are eventually gonna get screwed in the process (with ETHD or the next one).
I guess that is how most of the scams who operate in this forum are going about. They open a thread about some shitcoin airdrop with no team backing it neither and whitepaper, roadmap or and goal in mind. They promote it on every other social media in the world and the greedy shitposters simply join the airdrop to spread as much filth as they can across every platform that you can think of. The team even "rewards" these shitposters with shitcoins.

Isnt that funny? rewarding shitposters with shitcoins? I think it serves them right.

Quote
Just saying ETHD hasn't """"YET"""" demonstrated to be a complete scam so shouldn't be called like that because in my view as long as a project has a community + dev team who are alive, we can't talk about scam.

Well most scams that act wont reveal their scamming methods unless it is too late or there has not been any blindfolded investor who have bought a large volume of the shitcoin. Most probably after such an incident, there will be a huge dump and the devs will run away from the internet. Grin

I kinda feel sorry for the people who genuinely thought that they should invest.
8662  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading questions on: November 19, 2017, 09:12:39 AM
•In converting Bitcoins to money is still called trading?

•In connection with the percentage or price of bitcoins I will go and exchange it to buy in lower price value and sell and high?
•Will that be a good help? for make my momey anonymously grow?

Yes,converting btc to fiat is trading, because you sell one currency and buy another.Currency trading is like any other trading.
I don`t understand what exactly are you trying to ask with those questions.Yes,making profit with trading is when you buy low and sell high, and i don`t know what do you mean by "anonymously grow".
You should learn english first, and then learn more about cryptocurrencies and trading.
Converting Bitcoin to Fiat (real money/currency) is not trading, rather it’s called Exchange. You can’t call it trading, and reason is because there is a big difference– trading means the activity of buying and selling of goods and services, while an exchange means giving one thing and receiving another in return. So when you convert Bitcoin to dollar, what you did was an exchange and not a trade.

This is actually debatable since the meaning of exchange can be both. An exchange can be an institution that allows exchanging of articles from one form to another. Again another meaning of the word exchange is to swap and article for another.

Basically trading is done in exchanges and this follows some rules associated with that exchange. There will be market price based on the demand and supply of the article - in this case whatever cryptocurrency is traded. So there is not 1:1 exchange, rather whenever a person bought BTC with USD there is strictly speaking a trade that occurred.

Certainly block chain has an immense potential to improve the health care sector.
But will regulate it ? Gov or companies
And how is that possible? I have several ICO which have gone rough and scam. Even some ICO are promoting to have developed complete treatment of cancer and other life-threatening diseases but they are just vaporware to draw people and are actually pure scams.

Certainly block chain has an immense potential to improve the health care sector.
But will regulate it ? Gov or companies
Usually private companies regulate the hospitals.. govt only regulates government run programs
In our country government hospitals have the biggest load of patients and not the private ones. Even if a private company is associated to a hospital, how does that matter with cryptocurrencies?

This interesting thread made me think "Can donor information be safe stored in a blockchain and (how) would that give an advantage?"
Have you ever heard of something called Medical Records and Medical Record keeping section?
8664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: healthy discussion about DICE on: November 19, 2017, 08:57:56 AM
I think the right answer of that is in one word "Greed". That is right, that dice known sites are secure and fair to play on them, so It's true, you will have a 50% to win/lose, In fact people when they win they would try to play again and again, I talk to the most of them, so automaticaly you will found that the site will have a big profit, and the profit will increase day by day.

You talk to most of the people who win and lose and mostly lose out of greed or you talk to the sites which are profiteering from these users of the site's losses? Undecided

The problem is the even if you have a seemingly full-proof method to win the game - there can be no "win". If you are one of those people who win something from dice games and then withdraw it and never come back then you are exceptional. Most people though are greedy and are never willing to stop even if they know that the house is technically unbeatable. The house edge will wipe out your balance once you play long enough under the influcence of your greed.

Our bankroll is always small from the house also house have limit of max profit but we don't have that kind of limit to bet with the amount of bankroll we have. Dice sites are provably fair and its probability which makes you loose not because of provably fair system.

People today know that most reputed sites have provably fair system to verify the randomness associated with rolls and this thread was not one which is questioning that.
8665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: healthy discussion about DICE on: November 18, 2017, 08:30:51 AM
You must understand that the dice games depends on the luck of the player and not on any other factor. The skills and expertise of the player has nothing to do with the game. Even experienced players get wiped of their balance in dice and they end up with zero balance.

Any strategy that you try on dice, you need to stop at a certain time. This is because your bankroll in finite and the maximum payout of the casino is fixed Hence running a dicebot with any strategy will ultimately end up in you getting busted even if that method is so called full-proof. As a matter of fact there is nothing called full-proof in gambling.
8666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin and Fee on: November 18, 2017, 08:13:08 AM
now bitcoin  price is 7,700 $ for 1 BTC  if price increase to 100,000 and i want to send 100$  it will be 0.0001 BTC  how much fee will pay ??

in other words if price increase  fee will increase to be more than sending amount Huh

The network is getting congested due to low fees and if this continues then paying low fees means that you might have to wait for several days before the transaction even gets a single confirmation. However this does not mean that you have to increase fees if price of bitcoin increases. It depends on how much everyone else is willing to pay and that competes with the amount that you pay for your transaction.

In other words if you are not willing to provide a high fee then other people's transactions will confirm before your transaction does.
8667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of cryptocurrency is easier to obtain ? on: November 18, 2017, 08:09:11 AM
Yes Bitcoin is the highest of them all.
If you talking about highest in terms of price and market capitalization then yes it is the one with the biggest price of all. That is why it is also used as a reference price for other altcoins in exchanges and coinmarketcap.

Quote
But im thinking that i should focus on some easier ones then transfer it to bitcoin so i can get a good headstart
is this a good idea or you guys can suggest some other ways
No this is a bad idea. I would suggest you to invest in bitcoin first of all. You dont need to buy one whole bitcoin because that has a very big price as per the recent exchange rate of BTC/USD. But you can buy smaller fractions of bitcoin.

Next check out the top altcoins in coinmarketcap and think about investing in them. Remember that Bitcoin and Ethereum are mostly long term investments for me.

I have seen several people with Angel Token in their signature. May I ask you why so many people are on board for this CC? Is there a resource that you know of that tells people where different CC's are primarily traded? Thanks for your comments and help. I appreciate it.

First of all do not believe everything you see on this forum. This forum is plagued by newbies and shitposters who make an account to join signature campaigns and shitpost across the forum with non-sense one liners. I am not saying that Angel Token is a scam or so but read on to know more.

There are many ICO promotions going on in the forum in the Altcoins Bounty section and there we have several signature campaigns going on as well. Majority of the people who are accepted in those signature campaign are shitposters who are posting just to earn some bounty. Hence dont fall for every signature that you see.

Again for the questions in your OP,

If you are an experienced trader, what is the best advice you would give someone that is new to it?
Stay away from Pump and Dump schemes and coins which have no legit team or have been given negative trust rating by DT2 members here. Never think of getting rich quickly. Never be greedy.

Quote
What are some CC that you think I should look into?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Monero, Dash. Basically the top few currencies of coinmarketcap are worth investing.

Quote
What are some of the best resources to follow market trends and CC news?
What are the best apps to follow markets? I have downloaded blockfolio and it seems like a great resource.
Use coinmarketcap website - dont trust any app. Be careful from malware apps as well.

Quote
What is the cheapest way of getting money on to a marketplace? I initially bought currency on coinbase and moved it into bittrex. It seemed like buying the CC and moving it from coinbase was pretty expensive.
What is the best trading market place? I have been trading on Bittrex.

Keep a tab on the market price. Buy low and sell high. Thats all I can say for this. Bittrex is a good platform to trade.

8670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any one who won significant amount of satoshi in gambling..?? on: November 17, 2017, 08:14:12 AM
There is no specific strategy on a Hi-Lo game, because that is just base on luck and who told you there's a good strategy for it? YouTube? Then why do you lose all of what you have before? It means that there is no such thing about strategy, Hi-Lo games is just base on luck

The Hi-Low game is based on luck and nothing else. Either you get lucky and win the game of you are not lucky and you lose the game. The questions of skills and practice dont come to games like Dice. In gambling it is important to know the edge that the House has and if the expected value is positive or negative. Dice and other luck based games have negative expected value.

Sports betting and Poker have positive expected value and some have PvP games as well. There you can apply you techniques and skills to win the game or outsmart your opponent.
8671  Economy / Economics / Re: How do I get bitcoin? on: November 17, 2017, 08:10:27 AM
Buy from your local exchange dude.  Theres coinbase.com if you want to buy via credit card.
I would not suggest coinbase at all. Using a local market to buy from with an escrow seems better. Otherwise its good to buy from an exchange but not coinbase. People dont like the idea of using credit cards to crypto transactions. You can easily get questioned by the bank officials about your transactions later on.

Buy Bitcoin immediately and trade on some big exchanges like poloniex and bittrex. the formula is easy to buy cheap and sell expensive.
but it's not that easy to get BTC, it only takes a few months to get used and learning

I dont think that the OP is asking for trading methods or how to make money from trading crypto. They need a method to buy bitcoins and I guess the part of trading comes after buying bitcoin. Because then only you have the capital to start trading with.
8672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Won BTC Cash battle? on: November 17, 2017, 08:03:35 AM
Nope. The battle is still on going and it will never stop until BCH's price touch below $1, this is not going to stop easily, "one must die and one must survive" is the type of battle between BTC and BCH. From the people backing up BCH for a million of dollars, letting the battle stop and just surrender is not an option.
That will not happen at all. You see there are people specially FUD spreaders and FUD acceptors who think BCH is the real bitcoin and thus will pump it as and when they desire. They are doing this for their own profit and not for the community. In all probability BCH is just an altcoin which has no future and a fake dev team who have made false claims before and thus are not credible for their work.

There's no need to make bch die, bch can be like in other alts it can be considered as crypto and yet can still have value, we should just know that btc now is incomparable among alts or crypto since it already proves itself

I guess as long as BCH remains a profitable coin the traders dont actually care for it. For them all that matters is the profit that they can make of the coin.
Also why do you compare BTC to Alts? BTC is the first of all crypto and any coin after that is an Alt to bitcoin.

8674  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Read This Before Joining Any Shit Token Air Drops on: November 16, 2017, 08:54:08 AM
Alright I read what the OP has to say. I think its pretty good but some people might get some misconceptions about what this is about especially those of you doing altcoin bounties here for the purpose of altcoin payments.

Most of the coins the OP has listed here are being promoted on twitter, facebook and all other blogging sites as well. Now the basis of this is to garner a crowd who is interested in this project. Even though the project does not even have a legitimate team or a goal or any milestone to cover.

Next these so called "devs of the project" pay every promoter with the tokens (read shitcoins) which are trade-able on some decentralized exchange (again a red flag) and then the pump and dump begins.

So end of the day we have another shitcoin that enters the market and gets added to coinmarketcap with a huge bunch of shitheads pumping the coin on every social media that you can think of.

What I would like to emphasize here is that there are many altcoins which are having a legit team and a goal in mind with a group of devs who are actively working on the project. Do no think that if you are doing some altcoin bounty that coin may end up as a shitcoin like above - it may or may not. You have do think about it yourself and decide whether you want to promote them or not.
8675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on trading these pairs & cycles? on: November 16, 2017, 08:46:23 AM
http://thecryptolabs.com/index.php/2017/11/15/6-cryptocurrencies-can-see-250-gains-short-term/
They're DOGE, XCP, FTC, THC, DOPE, ERC, and EMC2
They seem to be following explosive cycles, Risk:Reward seems very favorable.
So you read that on an article and you believe that you can make profit of these shitcoins? I would not suggest any of them added the reason that there are articles promoting them to people. You see many shitcoins are often promoted by people who have big websites with good traffic to the crypto associated people just to provoke them to buy it. This doe not mean that they will be profitable, rather it may be a pump and dump scheme where you might enter the market when a dump is made and then the price never recovers from that dump.

I was thinking of buying small amounts, setting sell orders around avg %^move of the peak.
You can try that but do so after doing proper research on what you are investing in. But thats just my opinion.
8676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin income strategy guide 200-300$/month on: November 16, 2017, 08:41:33 AM
May be someone agree with you and accept your strategy to earn $200 to $300 monthly. But i already have a good work of related with bitcoin and earn from it, that's why may be i will not try it and i could earn from gambling every month 0.02, so it is enough by me, even i have not thinking that gambling always give me money. But still i have earned. But you are great who share your income strategy and guide many persons who want to earn every month $200.

I would not suggest anyone to depend on a bot to win a game. You see many times these bots are actually malware made to hack your machine or just install a listener and keylogger into it. You would not want that to happen to the PC where you hold your coins would you?

Again these bots may actually withdraw your balance to the hackers address from the site as well.

Whenever people see something that has "get rich quick" scheme associate with it - I remind them of one thing. Money does not come for free in this world and nobody does a charity without a purpose.
8677  Economy / Economics / Re: Might not be a bad idea to sell off 5% of your stash.. on: November 16, 2017, 08:36:42 AM
It's not bad idea but it should be systematic and well planned, I see my failure at doing the selling 5% of my whole BTC, if i will not do it systematically and continuously, and you should do this when bitcoin's price is rising and not on the time when the price is playing see saw.

I guess the price has risen to cross the 7k mark after a dump due to all that BCH crap news and thus I would be skeptical to sell at this point. Another dump may occur soon. I think I am happy to hold my coins for now and wait for bitcoin to rise beyond the 8k mark. I am keeping 5% for selling once it crosses that.

I live by the method of getting your original investment back and playing with the "banks" money. You can sleep easy if you do this.

I guess you mean to say that you are reinvesting the profit that you gain from selling bitcoin when prices have risen and you have sold? Well for some people even that will not give then proper sleep if you ask me.
8678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1.5 months left !! what's more to happen ? on: November 16, 2017, 08:32:58 AM
I see micro money and electroneum on same level with repple
First of all learn how to write the proper names of currencies before you post in this forum. The quality of shitposting in this forum is getting worse day by day.

BCC tries to annoy and they make a bit of a mess, initially they believe that Bitcoin has gone down, but passes quickly they come back to believe in Bitcoin, and by the end of this year let's enjoy $ 10,000 / BTC because they're back.

Let me make it clear. BCC is the ticker for bitconnect. It is a clear ponzi scheme that has been proven as a ponzi by the reputed members of this forum. Bitcoin Cash ticker is BCH. Also what you are talking about was some FUD that was spread in the reddit channels about bitcoin cash being the real bitcoin. Many people bought into that fake news and bought BCH pumping the price. This was obviously done by the whales who dumped their BCH and made some money.

I will be expecting more of course. Other than Bitcoin hitting 10,000$ each, I would be expecting something more, like more countries making Bitcoin legal as a way of transferring funds or More E-commerce that accepts Bitcoin. It would be awesome if all of this happens.
More countries accepting bitcoin? Most of them do and very few countries whose economies are too low has banned bitcoin. E-commerce giants accepting bitcoin? Give me a break from that fake news. That is never going to happen not at least in the next decade.
8679  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to sell? on: November 15, 2017, 09:02:26 AM
Can i anybody put me through the basics of knowing when to sell and when to hold?...
I actually don't know much about market rise in demand and supply and it's affecting me in daily trade of cryptocurrency.

I would say for coins that have been growing slowly and steadily - often experiencing dumps but then picking up the pace again - best example being bitcoin itself - you should hold them for long term. These coins will grow big in future and give you load of profits. Sell them when you feel right, but sell in small fractions and not all at a time.

For ICO altcoins that seem to get pumped every now and then, exit them ASAP on the next pump. For other altcoins like Ethereum, Ripple, DASH, Monero I would suggest middle to long term holding and then selling.

8680  Economy / Economics / Re: China's complicates Bitcoins miners on: November 15, 2017, 08:58:48 AM
This might actually be a good thing. Difficulty will adjust anyway, and there will be less power in the hands of Chinese miners. Only time will really tell tho. What is for sure is that China is against bitcoin.

I believe this will only help other country miners to gain an advantage. Popular belief (may be FUD) says that majority of the miners are from China. Hence if they drop out of the network the difficulty will decrease proportionally to the amount of miners lost. The rest of the world will thus be able to profit from this.

If China thinks Bitcoin is going to be bad for their country let them do whatever they want. It does not matter to the rest of the world - because bitcoin does not discriminate people on the basis of their country of residence.
