Hello sir its still your site is active or not.. im always error to get in to your site. always Problem loading then unable to connect? Or this is maintenance?
Works for me, must be you.

Definitely you found something we did not count with.
Is really that easy to setup the miner for finding blocks with fixed number of txs... can't this affect the miner effectivity ..?
It is quite easy. It really only needs a slight code change to make blocks with a fixed number of transactions. This doesn't affect their profits since they can set something high enough to collect a lot of fees, and at this time, the fees are pretty much negligible anyways.

Thanks, then we can made it a bit harder by changing the rules ....  guess the nb of txs in block above the one your bet tx is included ... could this help?
Possibly, but it still wouldn't be that hard to cheat. The miners would just then mine the next block to have the number of txs that they guessed.
8683  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain is under maintenance ! on: October 26, 2015, 08:16:58 PM
Could you guys give me some advice of where to put my bitcoins if not in blockchain?
Use a desktop wallet, they are safer. I would suggest that you use Electrum on a desktop or Mycelium for mobile.

They should include a miner chip in devices that are constantly switched-on:
1) Fridge/refrigerators
3) Office air-conditioners

Did everyone fail basic science class?  WTF?

The job of Fridge / Air conditioners is to make shit cold.  To do that, they move a shit load of heat away from the place that is getting cold.  This is hard to do.  It makes even more heat when moving heat, and that heat has to also be moved away from the cold area - causing even more heat!  Now, some fucking genius like biggbox wants to put a heat generator right in there?  What the fuck is wrong with this community that we got so many fucking retarded idiots?  How did that happen?

I am pretty sure bitcoin is going to fail miserably because we got guys like biggbox engineering the dumbest fucking machines imaginable.

Actually it is possible to use heat to power a fridge. They do it in RV's, caravans etc. This link describes the process using gas/propane to supply the heat, but most of them can use electric elements instead:

http://home.howstuffworks.com/refrigerator5.htm
Your reading comprehension is a little off. It describes how refrigerators need some heat to regulate the temperature, not that they are powered using heat. The heating is only to prevent things from becoming too cold.

Read further:

"If you own an RV, chances are you have a gas- or propane-powered refrigerator. These refrigerators are interesting because they have no moving parts and use gas or propane as their primary energy source. Also, they use heat to produce the cold inside the refrigerator."
I would say that article is incorrect, at least that statement. They aren't using heat has the energy source, they are using it to separate the ammonia from the water and then using the ammonia gas for the actual cooling.

But this is starting to get OT.

8687  Other / Meta / Re: How did Satoshi come to know about Sirius? on: October 26, 2015, 07:16:51 PM
Several of the early adopters including sirius and hal finney learned about Bitcoin when Satoshi posted it on the cypherpunks mailing list.

You should be able to look up the xpub key on any block explorer
8689  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: fractional amount in java on: October 26, 2015, 01:34:47 PM
What altcoin are you using where 0.00000999999974737875 is different from 0.00001? Bitcoin only uses 8 decimal places, which means double precision is good enough for any value up to 67,108,863.99999999, which is more than the number of bitcoins that will ever exist. This is likely intentional on Satoshi's part.
Pretty sure that it is just weirdness on java, not that he needs that many decimal places of precision.
8690  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: fractional amount in java on: October 26, 2015, 11:45:35 AM
Use a long with the amount in satoshi. Then when you need to convert to display an amount, just divide by 100000000
8691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: receiving address with callback on: October 26, 2015, 11:43:59 AM
Does that mean the they create a receiving address from their wallet account, which also mean during transaction the fund is routed to their wallet first before going to our own wallet ?
Yes, when you use the receive bitcoin callback, the coins get sent to the service before being forwarded to you, do it briefly is under the services control.

You will find instructions on what to do there.
8693  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Dust threshold changed without any mention in 0.11.1 on: October 26, 2015, 02:40:14 AM
Also, satoshi nakamoto himself used the block chain in this "abusive" manner by embedding a message for the bankers in the first block. If satoshi didn't want the block chain to be used for other activities than purely monetary transactions then why on earth did he do it?

I think it was probably a pity that Satoshi actually did that (of course you know it was to show that there was no premine) as unfortunately his approach has been used by others and then extended through other approaches (I even worked out how to encode information in the sigs themselves although I've never actually used it live - come to think of it that is actually perhaps a better approach as it is just reducing the signature entropy a little and doesn't actually waste space).

It is inevitable that such pollution is going to happen and limiting dust is (at least for now) about the only reasonable method to preventing the UTXO set getting too large.

Since that is part of the coinbase script, it isn't related to creating normal transactions to put data on the blockchain. The coinbase script can have anything you want in there, that is its purpose. But encoding data into addresses or as part of OP_RETURN isn't really something that is condoned.
8694  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk.org Your connection is not secure on: October 26, 2015, 12:03:06 AM
It looks like you don't have the proper certificate for bitcointalk. The certificate info you have is different from the info I have, which also matches what Theymos posted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568146.msg11445861#msg11445861 This means someone is sending you the wrong certificate when you try to browse Bitcointalk.
8695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost Bitcoins please help on: October 25, 2015, 10:58:10 PM
Would this be using in my file search in windows or bitcoin qt? Doesn't work either way, only wallet.dat file not wallet.txt
in the console, instead of using wallet.txt, use the path. So the command you enter should be
Code:
dumpwallet C:\Users\USER\Documents\wallet.txt
Then in the file explorer, you should see wallet.txt in the Documents folder
8696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost Bitcoins please help on: October 25, 2015, 10:40:54 PM
It says "Cannot open wallet dump file (code -8)". And I can't do the open wallet thing mentioned earlier because I don't have a password
That error means that Bitcoin Core cannot create the output file, possibly a permissions problem. Try entering an absolute path like
Code:
C:\Users\USER\Documents\wallet.txt
where USER (not Users) is your username. There should then be a file called wallet.txt in your Documents folder.

What is the URL of your website? It got moderated, post it with a space before the .com (or whatever you use)

It's all pointless. You will waste a ton of time on faucets and earn almost nothing.
8699  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] BIT-POT.com - FAIR BITCOIN LOTTERY on: October 25, 2015, 10:16:53 PM
To be honest, I cant see the way a miner can cheat. They would have to cheat the blockchain itself.
A miner would cheat by submitting a tip for x transactions. Then he would take the transaction associated with the tip and include that in a block that also has x transactions total. Then he wins.
8700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost Bitcoins please help on: October 25, 2015, 10:15:22 PM
Sorry I meant I had one from a while ago. Is there no way to recover the coins? And I never had a password in the first place it is my wallet
As Shorena said earlier, open Bitcoin Core and go to Help > Debug Window. Then click the Console tab and in the box at the bottom type
Code:
dumpwallet wallet.txt
Then go to the Data Directory and you should see a file there called "wallet.txt" That is the dump of your wallet, it has all of your addresses and private keys, which you can now go to Electrum and import them.
