Why can we not have services where people make donations to a global company with enough resources to host these full nodes for them. <Not virtual servers in the cloud>, like we have with Cloud mining.
I know there are big Bitcoin supporters out there, that might be living in areas where there is weak internet infrastructure or they might lack the technical knowledge to run these full nodes, but they will gladly donate some money to further the cause.
Is there currently services like this?

The short-term benefit of a Bitcoin ETF will be a huge increase in the Bitcoin price, but in my opinion a Bitcoin ETF's long-term impact will be harmful to Bitcoin. We will see a lot more volatility, because much bigger players from Hedge funds will start to invest big amounts of money into these ETFs and they can pull it at any time. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) The manipulation of the price will go from current Bitcoin Whales to large Hedge funds in Wall Street. A lot of people are against this move, because these Wall Street investors have no long-term vision for Bitcoin, other than making a quick profit. ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif)

I often get people that ask me this question, " So, when did you start buying bitcoins? " and my answer is always, " I have never stopped buying. " They usually look very puzzled after I make that statement and then I explain to them that the Bitcoin price might go up to $50 000 or even $100 000 and I want to have as many bitcoins as possible, before we reach that price. So they usually get the bigger picture and they start to invest in buying some bitcoins. The fact is, we never know where this might be going and if people keep on making excuses, then they will never invest in Bitcoin. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

There’s a big misconception that bitcoin is entirely anonymous. Bitcoin is pseudoanonymous, in the sense that your name is not linked to your bitcoin address, but you still have a bitcoin address that’s static and so it could technically be linked to you. ![Lips sealed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/lipsrsealed.gif) Is this a True ? Yes, if you re-use a Bitcoin address at several different online retailers and they link your account details with that Bitcoin address, then Bitcoin is not anonymous at all. This is why most people refrain from re-using the same Bitcoin address for several different payments. This is also why people use Mixer services <like in my signature> to protect their financial privacy. You do not want to use one Bitcoin address and when you pay for something, people can simply drop that Bitcoin address into a Block explorer and see how much money you have. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

News is just the trigger for people to panic or for hype to build. In some instances, bad news are fake or simply FUD and then the price will drop for no reason at all. A lot of people also have some conspiracy theories and when this gets picked up by social media, it will spread like wild fire and then it will be published as fact.
The Shills know this, so they try to spread as much FUD as possible to push the price down. ^grrrrrr^

A good Crypto Trader will not have to spend a lot of time on trading, if he or she knows what they are doing. The day traders might be more involved, but the long-term traders just buy low and sell high and this whole process can be automated, so you should not be spending a lot of time doing this. <Buy/Sell triggers and notification triggers> What are you studying at the moment? <Crypto related qualifications?> ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I would not advise people that are studying to get involved with Crypto currency day trading, because you must rather focus on your studies. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

This is one of the main reasons why I am using Crypto currencies these days. Gone are the days when you have to type in your Credit card details into a dodgy site that promises not to store your Credit card details, just to turn around and to steal your information and to use that to rack up a shit load of credit on your account. I have been using Bitcoin on 3 local online markets for 2 years now, without having to risk any losses due to stolen information and that is one of the reasons why we should all be using Bitcoin for ecommerce. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

https://www.coindesk.com/irs-using-bitcoin-tracking-software-since-2015/ The Internal Revenue Service is using bitcoin transaction tracing tools developed by startup Chainalysis and this is what they are doing, https://www.chainalysis.com/The law enforcement agencies must keep up with the changing trends and currencies being used in crime, so this was to be expected. We should welcome the fact that law enforcement would be in a position to track criminals, if they use Bitcoin and other Crypto currencies in crimes. <We might be their next victim and we want them to be in a position to help us, when that happens> ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Why do people get all exited when they hear that governments are creating their own centralized crypto based currencies? Do they not know that these centralized controlled crypto currencies are exactly why Bitcoin was developed in the first place? Satoshi did not like the idea that Governments and Banks were destroying the global economy and he created a technology to protect people's wealth from these corrupt entities. Now, his creation is being used by these entities, to continue their corrupt practices. GovCoins like this is a bad thing and nothing to celebrate!

" much ado about nothing" - a great fuss ("much ado") is made of something which is insignificant ("nothing") ...comes to my mind, when I look at this. A once off dump of $1 Billion Dollars worth of bitcoins is definitely not going to trash the Bitcoin price for a long time, because that is just a drop in a bucket of the $125 675 135 876 USD market cap. A Reddit user mentions Silkroad and every media platform jumps on the opportunity to create a sensational story around it. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

I do not want to piss on the parade here, but is the whole idea of the Lightning Network not to have a 100% digital <Lightning Fast> payment network? we will go backwards, if we start the physical printing of "money" again. The whole idea of Bitcoin, was to replace the old way of physically printing money <Fiat currencies> and now people want to go back to that again? Nope, I think you must go back to the drawing board with your idea and eliminate the "printing" idea. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Hi I just got some extra money and I'm looking to invest, I want to invest in BTC but the price is too high for me, what do you think will be the next BTC one you can buy low and make a good profit when it burst?
It is actually very cheap now, because the price was $19000+ last December and now it is only slightly above $7000. You know that you can buy a fraction of a bitcoin, right? The majority of investors are of the opinion that it might go back to $19000 or much higher in the future, but there are no guarantees for that, so do not quote me on that, if it goes down. Bitcoin will always be a high risk investment and all of us are banking on some good profits in the future, but we do not know what will happen in the future.

A lot of people simply do not care about fossil fuels negative impact on this planet. They reckon it is there and it is cheap and there is a race to consume it as fast as possible, before it runs out. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Only when the negative consequences start to impact their financial profits directly, then they sit up and take notice. This is why tax incentives are introduced for people that reduce their reliance on fossil fuels. These same tax incentives should be expanded to large mining farms, when they use renewable and environmental friendly generated electricity for their mining farms.

the most obvious feedback, you have probably recieved is that the name aswell as the domain name (especially the domain name) is horrible
Good day! Thank you for comment. Why do you think our domain name is horrible? Are you recommending us to buy domain in .com, .org, or .net zone? Or do you think 1to2 is a bad name for our game? And thank you for commenting on our security! Yes, I agree, we used incorrect protocol. We just tested the site on http and forgot to change it prior to posting. We’ll change it. The name is horrible because it does not point to any type of gambling activities. So the first time I looked at that domain, I thought it was some kind of online arcade game. https://game.onetotwo.pro If you chose a name like Betonetotwo or OnetotwoGaming, then people would immediately see what it was all about. Any site where money is deposited, needs SSL security to protect the clients, so this is not even negotiable. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

You got to get focussed first, because you are all over the place. You are like the typical "newbie" in the beginning phase of your journey with Bitcoin, where you are bombarded with new things and the sheer volume of new options are overwhelming you. You mentioned that you do not even have enough money to pay for a domain, so we know what your financial status is and this pose some serious challenges, going forward. Your best bet would be to compile a project plan and to present that here on the forum and then to hope to get investors that would fund you or even a partner or partners to join you with your project. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Start there and see what happens. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

The problem with Russia is that they are not regulating Crypto currencies properly. The one moment you hear that Bitcoin is banned and the next moment it is welcomed again. Putin even had meetings with Vitalik from Ethereum and it looked like he was pro Crypto currencies. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) The people will continue operating even if it is not properly regulated, because they want to be at the forefront of new and innovative technologies. <We know government red-tape takes time to catch up with innovation> ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Yes, the 3rd party services <Middleman> is a problem, because Satoshi's vision for Bitcoin was to eliminate power hungry middlemen from a direct P2P payment network. I used a local auction site over the weekend, where you pay the receiver directly to his Bitcoin address and you do not have to work through a payment processors and I think these types of sites should increase in future. Let's use Bitcoin in the way Satoshi wanted us to do it. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

If you are a currency collector "Numismatist" you will not prefer to collect digital coins; I gather things to boast about owning, digital currencies restrict it to being numbers and not something to touch. Perhaps owning bitcoin in a physical form is much better since it has a physical presence and value increases with time. Also in the future, we may see a new update of Numismatist like collect Pokemon and collect digital one. Numismatics is the study or collection of currency, including coins, tokens, paper money, and related objects. While numismatists are often characterized as students or collectors of coins, the discipline also includes the broader study of money and other payment media used to resolve debts and the exchange of goods.
Someone has forgotten the source ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) A lot of them expands their interest in more things associated with money, so it is not just physical coins or paper money. I have seen people collecting, contracts / Bond certificates / Credit cards etc. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Yes, sorry I should have added the source for the definition of a Numismatist - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numismatics <Shows I am just human and I make some mistakes> ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Is there any option to browse through the contest page in order to see the list of previous winners who won the wagering contest and referral contest for Round 1? There is an option on the lottery page that allows the users to browse through previous rounds to view the lottery winners, maybe the admin can consider adding this function to the wagering contest too.
We do that on the lottery because people might want to check against the ticket list which they can still find the link to on our Twitter feed. I can't really think why anyone would want to check further back than the last wagering competition. Well, it should be quite obvious. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) We want to calculate how many times people have won any of the previous contests, like we do with the Lottery. Any site like to gather statistics as proof that they had previous contests and many winners, because people will feel more comfortable if they see previous statistics of other people participating in these contests. I have visited many other small gambling sites and I have checked their lotteries and contests and most of them are only won by 1 to 5 different users, which will raise a immediate red flag for me. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Well I do think that segWit addresses will prove to be really something that helps generate more crowd since, they are faster more efficient with less fee and the people who were complaining about the same would have to really sit back and think about it , since the issue is solved now bitcoins will have a better reputation and I do think that it is the reason that they will fluorish very well. Besides offcourse everything else that you mentioned.
There is a reason why many have said that 2018 will be one of the biggest years for btc. As you can see above there are many projects coming out this years that are so important and will basically solve the most important and last problems of btc. We are almost 9 months into 2018 and none of your predictions, based on those technological advancements have come true. The Lightning Network and SegWit is growing slowly and people are still using the Legacy Bitcoin core without these innovations. It just shows you that predictions are seldom accurate, because Bitcoin's price is being manipulated and these people could care less about the technology and the innovation behind this experiment. We will just have to see if the Q4 will live up to most of our expectations.
