8681  Economy / Services / Re: [Christmas Contest] Win 1 GUARDIANCARD for a Galactical Vision - HALF A DAY LEFT on: January 06, 2017, 06:32:56 AM
So, any updates? Who won this contest, it has been 5 days since the ending?
Looking at how the contest unfolded you gave the answers before the questions were even reveled Huh any affiliation with Woodcoin's Guardian?
IMO I would award the 2 for participating in the contest, its just fair play!

The questions were there since the start, in the first post, some people just didn't read carefully, so OP had to post them again in his reply.

8683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: January 05, 2017, 05:23:50 PM
In my opinion fast increase in bitcoin's price makes investing more dangerous, since it makes more tempting for owners to commit exit scam. For example, many casinos now have over control of over 1 million USD of funds in their bankroll and anonymous owners who might vanish at any time.

8685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: January 03, 2017, 11:01:05 AM
For me trading is just halfly gambling because somehow you can control the outcome of the trade like just shulio said in the above post.
In gambling, even if you use some martinfail or whatever you call strategy you are still depending on luck entirely.

You can "control"  the outcome only if you are a mega whale and your orders actually shift the market. To be more correct, you can try to predict prices basing on some knowledge, and some people have enough success with their predictions to make trading their main profession, unlike gamblers.

Nice stats Smiley

It would be useful if you include your percentage in bankroll. Because your share reflects earnings/losses.
Currently I think it's 0.2% at crypto-games.net, 0.55% at safedice and 5.5% at kingdice?

he has all the information you want in the first post and looking at it i think the crypto-games share was 30% of the profit and safedice was a bit more nearly 40%
and kingdice was a new one as far as i know, so that stats that kingdice gives is not as well as old ones.

DogecoinMachine was asking about the ratio of his investment to the total bankroll of the house. The answer to this question can be found in first post, by taking his investment amount, dividing it by the total bankroll of taken casino and then multiplying it by 100.
8688  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 30, 2016, 07:46:41 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

You never want to put all your money in one place, usually people invest 20-40% of their savings. Some invest more. But diversifying is the key to gaining reliable profit, because you will minimize the risks. So the answer is - both.
8689  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: December 29, 2016, 08:49:20 AM
I've been keeping some of my btc as an investment in gambling site's bankroll and earning stable interest rate. Very safe and relatively profitable source of passive income in my opinion. There's a lot of info about this sort of investments, you can find blog articles and discussions on this forum.

How do you envision this collision of the two galaxies?

At first, the upcoming collision was met with fear and uncertainty in both galaxies. The dominant civilization of Andromeda Galaxy included various inorganic life forms who were threatened by organic life forms for millions of years, until finally reaching peace and balance. But in the end, inhabitants of both galaxies managed to establish contact and begin cooperating for the common good. Collision itself proved to be devastating to millions of planets and stars, although everyone had thousands of years to prepare for it and no lives were lost. As the result of collision, many new resources were formed, which boosted technology and science in both civilizations. One of the planets, previously unexplored due to it's hidden location, was now revealed, and its first explorers found a very strange and cryptic message...

Which values have risen to the top in our galaxy?

After millions of years of progress and exploration, humans and other species of our galaxy came to understanding that peace is a prime value. For the majority of the time before the collision, there were no wars in our galaxy and all races lived in mutually beneficial cooperation. Still, they understood that not everyone in the Universe could share their views and there are armories full of deadly weapons, lying deep beneath the surface of some planets. Intelligence became the most important personal trait while beauty and wealth are viewed as secondary.

How do you envision our galaxy in some billions of years?

97% of planets in our galaxy will be populated and there will be thousands of sapient species. Some of them will be colonists from other galaxies, others are much more older than humanity. There will be all kinds of advanced technology like AI, cybernetics, genetic modification, Dyson spheres, faster than light traveling, etc. One of the notable examples of such technologies are enormous living star ships and even artificial living planets. As for politics, the government became a thing of a long past history, because everyone understand their responsibilities and cooperate on a fair and voluntary basis.

Came here and got surprised that not much people holding Monero, is there something wrong with it? I personally wanted to hold it for at least 6-8 months.
8698  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are Venezuelan not switching to Bitcoin? on: December 19, 2016, 05:25:26 PM
The Venezuelan people are suffering under high inflation (official inflation rate is 124%, inofficial rate is 720%). Why do they not switch to Bitcoin or alternative coins? Do they not know about Bitcoin or do they do not have access to Bitcoin buying options? This is really a mystery for me  Undecided

Same reasons why people don't switch in other countries:

- majority of population don't even know what bitcoin is

- high percentage of population not tech-savvy enough

- every government will oppose unregulated money

- in poor countries many people don't even have internet connection

Smiley

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1716977
