8701  Economy / Services / Re: escrow.ms's escrow service. 1% Only on: August 11, 2014, 04:00:03 PM
Escrow.ms, are you available for this escrow: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=734298.0

I sent you a negative trust. You deserve that. He got a trust rating of +73. Cant you see that. A newbie should comment without knowing what a Hero Member's status is.

P.S. Now take this tip of -6 trust rating on your profile and also a "Warning: Trade With Extreme Caution!" tag on your profile.

That feedback will only show up to you, but I see escrow.ms has also negbombed him which will now show up.

He actually knows everything, It's an alt account of ramkumar.

Ramkumar, the domain scammer ?? Is there any way out to block him completely from this forum.

Not unless he's been banned before and can get banned for ban evading, but nobody is going to take him seriously anyway.
8702  Other / Meta / Re: Spammer ID Statistics Report in the Chinese section on: August 11, 2014, 03:55:33 PM
Maybe (in his opinion) they don't post much of worth so some get chucked in with the rest. There are a helluva lot of bots in the Chinese section. A lot seem to be spamming www.btcfanbei.biz site. The Chinese sub could probably do with more mods, especially with John K out of action.

I get that this sort of thing happens when you release a new website, but shit.
It's getting really hard to enjoy this site. Im afraid to start betting in fear of the site going down and ruining my strategies.
Guess i'll just wait it out.

It's just growing pains really and is to be expected. I'm sure everything will get back to normality within a few days. I'm also sure Stunna is more disappointed than anyone and he's probably working hard behind the scenes to get everything ironed out as quickly as poss. Must be a stressful time.
8704  Economy / Services / Re: Bitstars.net Signature Campaign – up to 0.1 BTC and more per month for 50 posts on: August 11, 2014, 03:40:12 PM
Hello everyone,

Thanks for the replies. Yes, we can use escrow, no problem. Any service you would prefer?

@MUFC, you are in mate. Check your PM please.

@hilariousandco as mentioned above, no problem with escrow. We don't use anyone yet, so would like a recommendation. If you have a good one, please PM. As for the ref link, yes, that's exactly it, we want to track it, therefore we are using the ref link.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Lunamine did tracking as well.  Currently they have not paid for their last payment period (but that's irrelevant to this post really).  Lunamine did upset some people as they were picking and choosing who would "continue on" to the next week and be able to continue with the sig campaign.  Just letting you know some people will not like if they get "kicked."  But it does certainly make sense from a purely economical point of view.

It's a good idea to see if the campaigns are worth it to your business, but kicking certain people off, while understandable, is a bit harsh and not really an exact science. People clicking on your specific ref link is just random chance really. One poster could get a lot of refs one month then not a lot the next, though it's the total refs throughout the entire campaign which matter, and at least this one just has one specific ref link as opposed to individual user links. Maybe you could have a different ref link for each of the two user groups. That will be interesting to see who gets more.

List of escrowers above. Escrow.ms seems to be the go to guy nowadays, so maybe give him a message.

Good idea with the ref link. I'm sure many people will quickly sign up when you put the 3btc in escrow. Good luck.
8706  Economy / Services / Re: Bitstars.net Signature Campaign – up to 0.1 BTC and more per month for 50 posts on: August 11, 2014, 02:58:17 PM
Hmm, the signatures have a ref link in. Is that so you can keep track or referrals or are you just a user trying to gain some free refs?  Cheesy (someone tried doing this before so forgive my cynicism). Edit: Seems legitimate from previous posts, but you never know  Wink.

Let me know if you need a hand running the campaign, and escrow will need to be used with this before I recommend anyone joins (even 'legit' sites have scammed or run them poorly without paying everyone before).
8707  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 11, 2014, 02:37:18 PM
I'm a bit confused, do we just fill out the payment form on the 17th for all posts made up until then during that period? If so, why the 17th instead of the start of the month?

17th - the 17th is just the term and that was probably the first payout. You fill out the form with the posts you made from whenever you signed up to the 17th before you claim.

escrow ?
nice to see another campaign  Cool
More competitor  Grin

add this into here

Yep, you'll probably need to put the money you're offering to pay out into a trusted escrow. Glad to see more campaigns testing the waters though.
8709  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 11, 2014, 02:31:45 PM

So, is this normal? And did the form register me correctly anyway? Or did I do something wrong, thus having to re-enroll?

Best regards and sorry for asking noobish questions, but I never participated in an advertising program here, so please bear (or bull, heh) with me. Smiley

Yes, it's normal. You need to submit the claim form again blank then you should be good to go.
8710  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 3 Launched!!!!!!! | Most Popular Bitcoin Game! | 400k+ BTC Wagered | on: August 11, 2014, 12:50:34 PM
What would you guys think of having another chat room called "VIP" or something along those lines where only people with lets say level 20 can talk in? I've noticed the main chat is very low level betting orientated so it might be nice to have a place for bigger bettors to discuss in private.

That would probably be a good idea. Maybe one for staff or mods to chat in as well if there isn't something like that already.

Isn't gondel from Bulgaria? I don't see how 'Obese' member fits here either  Grin.
8712  Other / Meta / Re: Banned 60 days on: August 11, 2014, 11:43:50 AM
Is it against the rules of the forum to use multiple accounts for signature campaigns or is it against the rules of signature campaign provider? That's an important distinction. A signature campaign provider is a private business and the forum should not ban someone because they violated the rules that the signature campaign provider specified. A scammer tag would be more appropriate, if necessary.

It's not against the forum rules to have any amount of accounts, though they can be banned for ban evading if you have been banned before. It's up to each signature deal to state whether a user can have more than one account on their deals, but that's going to be pretty hard to police unless it's obvious. Scammer tags aren't given out by this forum any more either.
8713  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 11, 2014, 11:10:02 AM
Is there going to be bigger pay rates for legends?

Can't see why it would. There's no difference in their signature prominence and they're only different in name. PD's Hero and Snr sigs are the same as well anyway.
8714  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: August 11, 2014, 08:54:53 AM
Guess it's slow for news in bitcoin world, but it's not uncommon to get several threads on one subject, especially when some fud or something controversial gets picked on. Oh, and most people don't search or even bother to check the front page before starting a new thread.

can you update how many spots are open stingle? i plan on getting to 60 activity within the month

I don't think there is currently any spots open, though they usually become open every day or so, so just keep checking back as it is updated whenever new slots become available.
8716  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: August 11, 2014, 07:14:59 AM
Also, I made it so that Staff have the coin icons for their post group instead of a fixed 5 coins.

I liked my five coins  Cry. Suppose it makes sense to keep it in line with your actual rank though.
8717  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 3 Launched!!!!!!! | Most Popular Bitcoin Game! | 400k+ BTC Wagered | on: August 11, 2014, 06:10:08 AM
Something needs to be done about the begging in the chat. It's getting pretty annoying :S.

What is there you can do about it really? Just like it happens here it'll never stop. Just mute the beggars and hopefully the mods will handle them as well when they see 'em.
8718  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: August 10, 2014, 09:22:22 PM
Nobody is expected to pay anything. And you're right, it wouldn't be fair. It wouldn't be fair to give people the same title as those that donated initially especially when theymos has stated it won't be lowered. If people really want to donate a smaller amount they can go right ahead.

Thanks, hilariousandco. It's nice to have a little sane backup now and again. I wish you could read my PM's.

Ha, I can imagine, though I do have a little bit of sympathy for some of them if they genuinely didn't know.

Come on, guys. If you are going to sign up for a signature campaign and run an ad for a whole month, at least follow the rules of the campaign! I disqualified all three of the people that were due for payment today.

Did not qualify:

UnluckyDuck - 32 posts total
cryptworld - 30 posts in 4 days, total 53
phoenixsilverbird - 52 posts in 4 days, total 56

You're making it very difficult for me to give away bitcoin, people....

I made the posts across 2 weeks...

You made 40 or so posts from the 11th to 13th which is probably the problem here.

That's a lie.

How is it a lie? You literally made over 40 posts in the three days I stated.
