8721  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: February 07, 2018, 08:05:09 PM
Of course no, Bitcoin cannot die for like decades.
According to prediction this fall was normal and was expected.
I think it is foolish to think that bitcoin is dead because of this many people are panicking and selling their coins which is useless. I think this situation is good for buying bitcoin and holding them , we know that the price will rise so just wait for the right time.

Exactly. Bitcoin will never be dead despite what the mainstream media says, or what its value would be in the long term. We can never expect for the price of an asset or currency to always go up. There will be times where prices decline making it the perfect opportunity to buy and grab a stake of. No matter what Bitcoin's value would be in a couple of years from now, Bitcoin will remain the same in crypto land if nodes and miners are supporting it.

What really determines the death of a cryptocurrency is the lack of development, and nodes on the network. So, even with at least 1 node and miner on the network, the cryptocurrency would be alive. Consider the number of nodes and mining hashrate that BTC has, making it very distant to become dead anytime soon. Its decentralized blockchain technology will keep it going, and more people will join the revolution making it bigger and stronger than ever. Before you know it, Bitcoin will become much more valuable than what it is right now, and capable of handling large transaction load thanks to upcoming improvements such as the Lightning Network, Schnorr Signatures, and more. Just my thoughts ;Dt
8722  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: February 07, 2018, 08:00:32 PM
Bitcoin will develop even more powerful than now if the government allow citizen to use Bitcoin. There are not any rules are promulgated to use Bitcoin in any country (In these country, Bitcoin will be used freely). Many countries even ban Bitcoin. Using Bitcoin will be convicted to be guilty in some countries.

Yes. That's the case when governments either interfere with Bitcoin's progress or join the revolution. As blockchain technology provides many benefits such as low costs, and immutability, I believe that at some point in the future, governments would have no choice but to adopt the technology behind Bitcoin. Many countries like Venezuela, Russia, Japan, and even China, have become interested in the benefits that Bitcoin's underlying tech provides.

As such, since Bitcoin is nearly impossible to take down, Governments along with central banks will start rolling in their digital currencies to support cashless payments in the future. Therefore, some countries will ban Bitcoin while others will join it and become a step ahead in changing our world in ways we've never thought possible. Just my opinion Smiley
8723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: February 07, 2018, 07:55:09 PM
Bitcoin might be the future of currency exchange. Dont forget that bitcoin doesnt reach it full potential and capacity , many people doesnt know how good bitcoin is. Bitcoin might take over or maybe considered as one of the trusted currency in the mere future. Bitcoin has the flexibility to adjust according to the situation. Many people will learn about bitcoin and it will be a huge news that will invite a lot of investors to invest their money to bitcoin. Bitcoin will be a stable currency in the mere future. Dont worry, i know it will continue to improve  and its future will become brilliant.

Agree. Bitcoin still has a long way to go before it becomes a full-fledged mainstream cryptocurrency. Since it is only 9 years since its inception, there's a lot of improvements needed to make the blockchain technology more robust than ever before. While Bitcoin may not be the perfect cryptocurrency, it has managed to bring us the decentralization of the financial system as we know it. Therefore, I believe that more people will join the revolution and Bitcoin will grow much stronger as times goes by.

Given the level of adoption it has experienced from investors, to entrepreneurs, and more, it will have a bright future ahead of it. Of course, during Bitcoin's time there will be FUD all over the mainstream media trying to destroy it. But, in my eyes, it will be here to stay given its decentralized nature leaving the middleman out of the equation. Just my thoughts Grin
8724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: February 07, 2018, 07:50:23 PM
It seems to me that cryptocurrency or at least the technology behind it will drive the world to a new reality. The world becomes digital, it's convenient for people and it will be difficult to refuse this

Yes. Slowly, day by day, Bitcoin is gaining traction in the mainstream world. People are beginning to realize the true potential of digital money, and are quickly adopting cryptocurrencies for a cashless society to happen in the future. As technology is advancing at a fast pace, there will be no doubt that Bitcoin and its underlying "blockchain" tech will change the world as we know it. In fact, it has already been doing some changes to our world, as banks and governments around the world have become interested in Bitcoin's underlying tech.

It will be only a matter of time, before we begin to experience drastic changes in our lives, as we shift to a new world where everything is autonomous, digital, and lightning fast. Therefore, all of us Bitcoiners will become early adopters of this exciting revolutionary technology that will become the future of finance, healthcare, and more. Just my opinion Smiley
8725  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: February 07, 2018, 07:45:07 PM
We cannot predict what will happen in bitcoin after a few years. We see that bitcoin value is so volatile, we see how the graph of bitcoin value go to its peak, and go down so fast. We cannot predict if bitcoin can replace dollar soon.

Exactly. At current price movements, it's nearly impossible to determine whenever Bitcoin could replace the dollar or not. The high volatility it has, kills its purpose for being used as an everyday currency. Not to mention, its high fees and slow transactions makes its dream of becoming a mainstream currency far from becoming a reality. In this sense, Bitcoin may never replace the dollar as it has the issues mentioned previously, and most of all, it is a decentralized currency which threatens current banks' financial system.

Nevertheless, if Bitcoin becomes improved over time making it capable of handling large transaction load, then there could exist a possibility of replacing the dollar soon. A currency such as Bitcoin will allow nearly anyone in the world to use it within any region without restrictions. Only time will tell if this happens in the future or not. Just my thoughts Grin
8726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: February 07, 2018, 07:40:25 PM
Yes I agreed and I believed that Dogecoin has a good future, having a big community in different nations by this altcoin is a sign that it has a better future. Moreover this is one of the pioneering coin in crypto world. Which means it is more likely trusted alts compare to amny alts here.

Completely agree with you, mate. Dogecoin is one of the oldest altcoins in existence. As such, it will have more trust than most altcoins which are new in crypto land. Having a good number of nodes and mining hashrate will ensure its survival in the long term.

Therefore, I believe that if Dogecoin is used among many people for their daily transactions, it will have a bright future ahead of it. Of course, Dogecoin could gain more traction if it improves in development and innovation. To make Dogecoin better, it would be best to update it to the latest Bitcoin's codebase to ensure it has the last improvements such as SegWit and more. Until now, Dogecoin hasn't faced any scalability issues but as more people begin using it, it will have no choice but to implement an upgrade towards its transaction capacity.

Maybe, the co-founder of Dogecoin will return in supporting the same. Or, perhaps there will be a community takeover to make Dogecoin great again. Nevertheless, no matter what happens with this cryptocurrency, it will be here to stay for many years to come. Just my opinion Smiley
8727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: February 06, 2018, 12:35:48 PM
ZCash is a cryptocurrency with a strong emphasis on privacy and identity protection. ZCash maintains the benefits of a public blockchain while enabling completely anonymous transactions. Zcash falls into the “same category” with Monero and other privacy-focused cryptocurrencies. If you think that they have a good future, investing in Zcash is a reasonable option.

Completely agree with you, mate. ZCash being a privacy coin and all, helps protect us from external third parties who want to spy over our transactions. By implementing a view-key system, only those authorized by you can see your balances and transactions on the blockchain. I believe that once ZCash enforces shielded transactions by default, everything would go for the better in the long term.

It only started almost 2 years ago, so it would need some time before it becomes a strong cryptocurrency like most of the altcoins in existence. Maybe after the founder's reward period (or slow start) is over, ZEC could expose its true potential. Now, its price is way cheaper than its all-time high. If we invest into ZEC while prices are this cheap, then we would reap the profits in the future once there is a new all-time high in its price. Just my thoughts Grin
8728  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 06, 2018, 12:30:14 PM
Investment in online like in cryto currency is much wiser decision  than saving your money with banks. I believe  that bitcoin gives a greater profit than banks.

Agree. Due to the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies, there's a higher chance of profiting with them than just saving your money into a bank account. This applies especially to Bitcoin as its deflationary model will help it become more valuable over the long term. The benefits that cryptocurrencies bring, far outcomes those provided by banks. So, if you want lower fees (with altcoins), faster transactions, and a high probability of profiting in the future, then cryptocurrencies are the ideal choice for this.

When we buy cryptocurrencies, we both save and invest our money towards making it grow over the long term. There are a lot of options available at your disposal from PoS coins with high rates per year, to masternodes that give you daily rewards, and more. With this, you'll be able to have peace of mind in your financial life for years to come. Therefore, if you monitor your investments, and save money at the right time, you'll be able to avoid hassles in the future. Just my opinion Smiley
8729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: February 06, 2018, 12:24:54 PM
While not a POS coin, I think TaaS deserves an honorable mention here. TaaS is a blockchain investment fund and it pays out quarterly in Eth... I use that Eth to buy more Bitbean. Works nicely.

Nice. TaaS seems like a good investment to earn dividends each quarter. While it is not a PoS coin, the dividends earned with it can be used to invest into other Ethereum-based PoS coins like PoSToken and Accelerator Network Token. That way, you could multiply your earnings at a faster rate and build your way towards endless profits.

Thus, the best coins that you could buy right now (in addition to the ones I've mentioned in previous posts) are TaaS, PoSToken, and Accelerator Network Token. These three coins combined can help you reach a ROI within a short time frame if they maintain their price levels. Also, BitBean gives nice rewards and can used in conjunction with the earnings you make with these coins. I use BitBean most of the times, and the results are fantastic. Smiley

Stratis -  good choice. You just have to install special pos wallet and transfer there your stratis coins. I have just 1000 strat and   for 1 month i gain 2 coins. it is not bad! But i don't like that i have to keep the wallet enabled. So, im not very happy with it, but for most people it's not the problem.

The earnings are not bad, but unlike many PoS coins in existence, you'll need to leave your wallet open always to receive the reward. For those who don't have a constant internet connection or use laptops, it is very inconvenient to do such practice. However, there is a coin (if not the only one) that allows you to "stake" it without leaving your PC on always in a safe and secure way. Such coin is named NEM with its Delegated Harvesting feature that allows you to earn XEM coins via another node on the network without exposing your private key. Of course, it needs a minimum of 10,000 XEM and considerable amount of importance score to begin earning, but if you could achieve such requirements, then you'll be all set towards making endless profits for the long term.

Other PoS coins which rely on the Ethereum blockchain like PoSToken and Accelerator Network Token, may not need the wallet to be open always to begin staking. You just pay a single fee in gas (ether) to execute the coin's smart contract function and you'll begin earning right away with these coins even if your PC is off. So, in crypto land there is always a choice to make profit within a short time frame. Just my thoughts Grin
8730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future? on: February 06, 2018, 12:17:34 PM
Bro, if bitcoin gonna be centralized,
there is no point of mining bitcoin. it is processed centralized,
so it doesnt need miner. the miner will lost its functions.
but i think thats not gonna be happen.

I hope so. Because if Bitcoin becomes centralized in the future, then there would be no point in using it and even mining it, as the cryptocurrency would become the same thing as traditional financial systems. The whole purpose of Bitcoin was (and still is) to decentralize finance and eliminate external control. As such, it should not rely on politics, governments, or any external entity to ensure its survival in the mainstream world.

Just as Gold is decentralized (nobody can control or issue more Gold than what it already exists), Bitcoin is the same in the way that no one controls it. Of course, it still has some things that need to be addressed to ensure full decentralization, but until now, it has been doing fine and it's the strongest cryptocurrency to date. Thus, the more geographically placed nodes and mining hashrate appear on the Bitcoin network, the more stronger and decentralized it will be. Time will tell when Bitcoin becomes virtually unstoppable on planet Earth. Just my opinion Smiley
8731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LDOGE] LiteDoge | Community coin | No Premine | Very fast | Such Stake WOW on: February 06, 2018, 12:13:47 PM
Here is also a work-in-progress theme proposal for litedoge website

http://test.ldoge.org/

Any feedback welcome! Please also help fixing typos etc  Wink

Awesome. I like the new version of the LiteDoge website. It gives a fresh new look and feel to the cryptocurrency, serving as a nice attraction point to newbies. Given that LDOGE is much faster (and perhaps even cheaper) than Dogecoin, it has a lot of potential of becoming a huge cryptocurrency in the future.

Nevertheless, I'm hoping that LDOGE could get the attention it deserves and become a popular cryptocurrency just like Dogecoin. It just needs more promotion to help increase traction in the cryptocurrency markets. I've seen that LDOGE is traded at some exchanges, but it would be ideal to have more exchanges (especially recognized ones like Bittrex and Poloniex) to increase its trading volume. Despite that, LDOGE will always be one of my favorite PoS coins to stake and support for the long term. Smiley
8732  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] DOGEbar - 4 year anniversary - limited run - WOW! on: February 03, 2018, 08:47:22 PM
thanks for the compliments and feedback Abiky! This project was really a creative one (perhaps a little selfish as I just wanted to have a little fun) and to give back to one of the most long standing communities in crypto. This is why I didn't include cold storage as part of the design, cold storage wallets are a far more serious endeavour. These, I hope will be primarily attractive for collectors Smiley

You're welcome. I'm always a big fan of physical cryptocurrency coins, even if they were a non-loadable collector's item. And yes, cold storage are more serious and require a little more work.  Wink

Anyways, these bars are just fine to me and I'm sure that many crypto enthusiasts will love them as well. They commemorate Dogecoin's 4th anniversary which makes them a truly collector's item. Nonetheless, I've sent you a PM to make the purchase for the 2 silver bars. I'm just waiting for your response so that you could give me the total cost and BTC address to send the coins to. Can't wait to get my hands on these soon!   Smiley
8733  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] DOGEbar - 4 year anniversary - limited run - WOW! on: February 03, 2018, 08:03:59 PM
These DOGEBars look fantastic. With only a limited supply of 100 bars in existence, this could become a very valuable treasure in the long term. As a suggestion, future bars could also serve as cold storage by allowing the user to load funds on them. But despite that, these bars are outstanding and would make a great addition to my arsenal. Cool

Sent you a DM to buy 2 silver bars from you. Looking forward to owning them soon. Smiley

8735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MonetaryUnit [MUE] - X11. MasterNodes. Funding. Governance. Services. Devs on: February 03, 2018, 06:16:46 PM
After all these years, MonetaryUnit will not be so vulnerable that development is working hard.

Agree. MonetaryUnit has taken the time to deliver promising development and features at a slow and steady pace. Given that it has implemented masternodes feature, and it has a deflationary model, I'm sure that MUE would become a great investment in the long term.

Nevertheless, given that most cryptocurrencies on the market have decline in value, it's the perfect time to buy cheap MUE while it's still possible. I have the feeling that soon MUE will be worth $1 and beyond. So, it would be up to buy and hodl MUE for the long term. Just my opinion Smiley

20 shares on MyMUE.com

I've missed that one yesterday. Every time I check for new shares, they're quickly sold out. Is there any way to receive notifications for this via email, or text message? It would be great if the MyMUE platform would have some sort of notifications system every time new shares show up.

Nevertheless, I'll be checking the page regularly for new shares as I have plenty of MUE waiting to be exchanged for shares. Soon, I'll be able to get a masternode of my own with 500k MUE. Smiley
8736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: February 03, 2018, 06:04:13 PM
I also don't consider my first experience with bitcoin as a bad one though it was a little bit tough because I was farming in faucets and it eat up all my time still I see it as a blessing because if my friend did not introduced me about bitcoin faucets then I would not dig deep about bitcoin and find this forum.

Yeah. Farming with faucets was the way to go in our early days, spending hours a day just to earn a few pennies. While it didn't serve as a nice stream of income back at the time when we used to do it, nowadays the faucet earnings we've held onto our wallets is worth something due to Bitcoin's recent uptick in price.

But, as we learn our way towards using Bitcoin effectively, we discover new ways of making money than we've never imagined. By participating in signature campaigns, investing in cloud mining, and even hodling PoS coins, we could achieve greater income than using faucets themselves.

Nevertheless, all the experiences learned with Bitcoin will help us make better use of cryptocurrencies. One thing for sure, is that it has drastically changed our lives ever since we've started with it. Just my thoughts Grin
8737  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: February 02, 2018, 04:29:42 PM
As anyone can see, governments have started a war against bitcoin, with all kind of big declaration.
Of course, this will slow down the grow, moreover in public acceptance, but due to the decentralization of the system, I can't figure how the could succeed.
We'll see, I'm very curious.

That is certainly true, mate. While most governments have started to act against cryptocurrency markets to stale the growth of Bitcoin, they still haven't been able to destroy the pioneer cryptocurrency as we know it. Since Bitcoin is decentralized, it doesn't depend on governments, politics, or even banks to survive. Its underlying technology is hard to stop and take over it, since it has grown much stronger than it was in its very beginnings.

Either way, if governments start acting against cryptocurrency exchanges, there will always be the choice of decentralized trading solutions which are free from any external interference. So, no matter if governments support Bitcoin or not, it'll be hard to shut down the whole ecosystem as we know it.

Of course, when things like these happen, Bitcoin's growth becomes slower, but it will rise back up and emerge stronger than ever before. Just my thoughts Grin
8738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: February 02, 2018, 04:22:23 PM
You should check out OPC , it currently offer 1200% reward per year for staking, but in 2 months it will offer 1500% reward per year for staking.
I expect the price to increase a lot before the 1500% reward per year kicks in.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/op-coin/

Awesome. PoS coins with high rates are attractive to experience a return on investment within a short time frame. Given that cryptocurrencies have been declining in value, this would be the right time to grab some cheap PC coins. So far, that's the biggest stake rates I've ever seen on a PoS cryptocurrency. Hopefully, the inflation won’t affect the coin's value in the long term.

Things aside, another good PoS coin to invest into is Radium. It has some nice stake rates, a supportive community, and a dedicated development team. Sometimes, I wonder why it is undervalued, as it has good dedication and brings many exciting features. Nevertheless, RADS and OPC are good PoS coins to have on your portfolio for the long term. Wink

UNIFY and RUPX.
very low max supply.pos.good coins and community.
unify is up x100(!!) in a few months(from 0.006 to 0.6)
unify has maximum coins of 19 million.marketcap is near 4 million.
bittrex and cex.io are planning to add this coin soon.

Cool. Limited supply PoS coins have a high possibility to increase in value over the long term. Look at Diamond for example, which went from nearly $0.25 to $21 within a short time frame due to its limited supply. As such, I believe that UNIFY will become a valuable cryptocurrency like Diamond in the long term. If it gains enough traction in the market, I'm sure that it would make nice returns for early adopters of the cryptocurrency.

Nevertheless, I'll add this one to my PoS investment portfolio. In case there are other good PoS coins which are new, I would appreciate if you or anyone else would let me know about them. Smiley
8739  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: February 02, 2018, 04:11:06 PM
My answer is always No. Bitcoin is a digital currency. Now bitcoin price getting low that means not bitcoin will dead. It is simple. Price can up and down. Bitcoin demand is decreasing among people because some government ban bitcoin in their country. I think as soon as bitcoin solve this problem and price will hit a huge amount again.

Agree. Prices won't reflect Bitcoin's death anytime soon. What really determines Bitcoin's death is if lacks a strong network. As far as I know, Bitcoin has a lot of nodes and miner hashrate in existence. So, despite the FUD coming from mainstream media, Bitcoin is not dead and will survive for many years to come.

Of course, we cannot ignore Bitcoin's decline in terms of USD value since it presents a huge opportunity to grab a stake of coins at a cheaper price to profit in the future. With the upcoming improvements for Bitcoin, and more decentralized exchanges appearing in crypto land, there will be an uptick in price soon. Even if governments from around the world start to make a crackdown on cryptocurrrency exchanges (centralized ones), Bitcoin will still survive and perhaps become traded in other ways. People from countries that have decided to ban cryptocurrencies (like China) will eventually trade fiat to Bitcoin in a peer-to-peer fashion without using any exchange. Person to person transactions would be the solution for this, and Bitcoin will become stronger as time passes by.

Nevertheless, while some altcoins may become dead soon (due to lack of development, and support) Bitcoin will remain in crypto land for the long term. It'll be hard to take down Bitcoin given the strong network support it has. Just my thoughts Grin
8740  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any good Bitcoin games around? on: February 02, 2018, 02:44:46 AM
There are many good Bitcoin games, there has a bitcoin roulette that you can earn bitcoin using that application and you can withdraw it direct to your bitcoin wallet many using it and enjoy earning bitcoins.

Yes. There are so many Bitcoin games around nowadays, that helps you earn some satoshis while at the same time have fun with them. Most of them are gambling games which provide greater freedom than traditional online gambling (using fiat). Even more, there are a few games which operate on a blockchain like Cryptokitties. This game is not a gambling one but has made strides in crypto land.

I think that once smart contracts start rolling in on the BTC blockchain, we might be able to see even greater games like these. As for Bitcoin roulettes, I've tried many like Goldsday and Starsbit. They offered great rewards and were quite fun and addicting to play. Now, they're non-existent, but it would be great if they could return someday. Things aside, the Bitcoin roulette you’ve mentioned looks worth to get a shot at it.

Nevertheless, I believe that as more Bitcoin games become introduced, they will help Bitcoin increase its awareness and mainstream adoption. Just my opinion Smiley
