I always ask my self why trusted casinos never heavily advertise about investing in their site since they have a decent roi rate?
Because they don't have to. Looking for new investors will just lessen their share in the total profit of the website. They're already earning money and they want to keep it to themselves. No. There are so many better ways to spend your money, you can donate for charity and save some lives, you can fund some researches, you can invest this money or start your own business. There are countless possibilities to make good for yourself or other individuals or society as a whole. But if spending big money on gambling is essentially just giving them to casino owners. So I would only gamble with small amounts and preferably in PvP games like Poker. |

Okay so, bitcoin is outright banned in some countries, so the banning of bitcoin is already a reality. The major government including Russia, China, and the USA (just to name a few) could also ban bitcoin and cryptocoins in general. My questions to you guys are: What do you think will happen to bitcoin? If any, what is your plan of action and what would you like to see from the community in terms of continuation and development? Bitcoin probably will never die but the banning of bitcoin could change the whole dynamics (let alone a temporary major price dip).
I'll give my thoughts first. I think bitcoin will grow and develop into what we want it to be regardless of the legal status. Fundamentally what bitcoin represents is anti-authoritarian and governments banning of it should not much of an impact fundamentally. Sure the price will suffer for at least a while although still climb "to the moon" probably, but as far as technical development and social spreading goes, I think that will continue. Unfortunately that could mean that it operates in the black market only for a while which would slow things down but I do think that would be a temporary affect. I am curious though if the governments could have a strong enough desire to destroy bitcoin or prevent it from growing past a certain point, that they could actually do that. So I wonder what you guys' thoughts are.
This will significantly increase risks for exchanges, so they will impose bigger fees, also Bitcoin price will stay low, because big legal business won't be able to use Bitcoin, so demand for it will be low. Then governments will create their own controllable cryptocurrencies and will tell people that they are better than Bitcoin so the majority of population will switch to them. |

It's very simple to know why we lost in long term because when we start playing for long time and stick all the time around gambling site. Than there is more big chance to lose all the amount to the house.
It doesn't matter if you play on one site or many, your total net from gambling is expected to be a negative value equal to the total amount of money you have wagered multiplied by house edge. But it doesn't mean that it will be like that with 100% certainty, there's small chance that you will be in profit over the long run, or maybe in even more severe loss than expected. |

Anyone know of any good books to read, or articles that talk about gambling and how odds work, how the over under works and where you can find information on that. I have just started betting at a site and I am confused by the term parlay and over under and who the favorite is, how much you will win if you win the bet and all that stuff.

Read basics about gambling and theory of probability on wikipedia or other sources, it will help you to get understanding of basic concepts, then you can read articles about specific games and strategies for them. When you'll start gambling, play with small sums at first, and analyze if you made any mistakes. |

If you have good amount of money and want to get some profit using that money then investing is better and only way to go for. Gambling is not good as everyone can not make money from it. Some people can even loose without seeing profit of a penny even. Investing is much better with little risk without doing anything by yourself. It is like money work for you.
You are right, gambling is meant for entertainment, adrenaline and emotions, it can't be a source of profit because it's unpredictable and has negative expected value for a player. There's no easy money anywhere, you need to work if you want to earn for sure. |

You should have just saved that 1 bitcoin. The bitcoin price has spiked this month early. ICOs are not always the best option to go with. Sometimes bitcoin itself can be a great investment, and provide you with a great stable income for doing nothing Yeah. At times bitcoin gives good earning without doing any work due to the fluctuations happening with the price. ICO has gained good trust from more users but it was not in a state to consider as a investment similar to investment made through bitcoin. Possibly scenario might change when more and move people start using digital currencies. Sometimes you can even lose in investments because of Bitcoin's price rise, for example you invest in ICO, but then BTC goes up and you are stuck with coins that don't necessarily scale in price together with Bitcoin. |
