perhaps because one is confused, don't you think?

Is a confused face a question in itself?
8742  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES FOR APRIL ★★★ on: March 31, 2014, 07:26:56 PM
for next month ritz dicreses per post count for "MEMBERS" but increases for above .. which little bit annoying for me  Sad
Think of it like this. If Ritz pays tomorrow, other campaigns will have to rise their rates to compete, which might push these up a bit as well. Smiley

That and if the exchange rate keeps dropping we might see consistently higher rates for a period before the price starts reestablishing itself
8743  Economy / Speculation / Re: the China PBOC event explained on: March 31, 2014, 08:23:02 AM
Honestly the news with Russia and China regarding Sanctions and world affairs against the US might make them change their policy
Weird factors in play
8744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Bitcoin..... Really??? on: March 31, 2014, 08:18:40 AM
http://www.macrobusiness.com.au/2014/03/bye-bye-bitcoin/

I know that ignorance is a bliss, or so they say but....
Give us a break here!
Why are governments and the media run by ignorant people?

Any comments?

Because the majority of people who do productive work are already hired creating jobs industries and other things and this is what is left once the innovators are doing something else

That's a bit mean as a generalization but the media has been trained to have bias over the years
8745  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should i do with my $1100 on: March 31, 2014, 08:17:41 AM
Personally I am joining the crowd and saying buy Bitcoins now and then maybe buy a Gen 3 Asicminer later
8746  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Canada : Capital gain for your tax return for your trades on CaVirtex on: March 31, 2014, 08:16:31 AM
I was wondering if Cavirtex would give people  Tax form to fill out but I might keep this handy in case thanks
8747  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If you play WoW, Eve or any other game with currency you now owe taxes!!! on: March 31, 2014, 08:15:22 AM
This is technically true.

It really isn't. You don't own WoW gold (which has no market value) and it is just a parameter of your account, which is wholly owned by Blizzard.

Actually it sort of is complicated by geography because there were a lot of WOW gold miners in China if I recall correctly so selling WOW gold in the US would be subject to the tax but not in China.

Then again how are they going to prove it anyways Smiley
8748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you buy bitcoin today? on: March 31, 2014, 08:09:54 AM
Bought at $448 this time.

Last drop from Gox news, I bought at $438 and then sold at peak of $693.

Hoping for a repeat...

We shall see

Yep that's Bitcoin the thing I'm more worried about is a catalyst event after the fall

Tends to happen in the long run with bitcoin rises and falls goes into a stagnation state drops and drops for a while then it rapidly rises
Not that I trust patterns to repeat themselves but it looks to me like it is one of those long haul ones reoccurring

We shall see
8749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Thanks sellers for giving out free $ on: March 31, 2014, 08:07:57 AM
These posts such as the OP's bear no purpose other to reinforce how the OP bought at a higher price, is concerned about the price dropping so pretends to express glee at the lower price and make fun of sellers.  The sole purpose of the post is to stop people selling at ever lower prices, and certainly not because the OP is happy the price is falling.  If a falling price made cheap bitcoins even cheaper the OP would be sitting quietly buying up bargain bitcoins and would do nothing to stop people selling.

Actually you brought up a good point but that still won't stop me from thanking people who are selling bitcoin at lower prices to scoop up lol.
8750  Other / Off-topic / Re: The hoverboard has become a reality! on: March 31, 2014, 07:57:50 AM
I think this a hoax. Anti gravity is not yet invented.

Ha-ha sorry it exists you mean but we haven't figured out how to harness it yet
Except in exceptional cold
Still cool video
8751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should stop trying to re-educate people on how to use money... on: March 31, 2014, 04:23:02 AM
Still feels like an odd title

I agree, I changed it.

That seems like a clearer point and thanks
8752  Economy / Speculation / Re: Thanks sellers for giving out free $ on: March 31, 2014, 04:21:50 AM
I'm actually grateful for them letting me hold the bag
I want to thank them for the profits haha
Bitcoin is a train don't get off unless your at an All Time High
8753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptostock alternatives on: March 31, 2014, 04:11:56 AM
Thanks looks interesting although thanks will look more into it since it doesn't seem to say how to list new projects and/or if they allow that will contact them and see. As for Mpex we've looked at them and decided not to go with them for the time being. Noticed a couple announcements by bitcoinbourse.eu starting to allow securities to be listed on their site. Any thoughts on them?

Looks more like an exchange to me than a securities group but this is the first time I have heard of them before myself so I will need to keep a heads up.

I did find their thread here though
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=516933.0

Also an IPO but no one was checking because its in marketplace and not securities  Grin
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526789.0

That said their valuation is ridiculous

Valuation of Each Share is 0.125 BTC

Market Cap assumed 100,000 * 0.125 = 12,500 BTC * 500 = 6,250,000

With them owning 75% of the Company or 4,687,500

And investors putting up 1,562,500 of the initial assets

Way over valued and plainly overpriced but that's just my opinion on a newly launched company

Dividend is 1/100th of a percent each month (Basically shareholders paying their own dividend)

100,000 (One Hundred Thousand)
25,000 (Twentyfive Thousand) Investors / 75,000 (Seventyfive Thousand) Bitcoin SARL

Dividend per Share : 0.001%
Dividend payout : 15th of month / for the last month
IPO now 0.125 BTC / Share ( trading start Monday 1 april 2014 )

So guess I made an opinion on them after all ha-ha overpriced no evidence they can perform and definitely not worth the risk at this time at this stage until we see something viable from them and significant.
My logical analysis and conclusion
8754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you buy bitcoin today? on: March 31, 2014, 04:07:00 AM
Actually I bought some today because I set this as a buywall a while ago
Next one at 415 then one at 375
8755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop teaching people about Bitcoin! on: March 31, 2014, 04:04:09 AM
Knowledge is power but I guess in relation to the op post leveraging it seems like an interesting enough idea

The focus will shift from trying to educate the population about paper wallets, private keys, and live CDs, to completely abstracting Bitcoin away from daily life. The majority of transactions will happen off blockchain between users' private accounts, with only sophisticated institutions trading real Bitcoin on the blockchain. Consumers will not have to manage, secure, transact, or otherwise interact with Bitcoin at all, leaving all the dirty work to the professionals.

One of the best things that could happen to Bitcoin, would be for existing institutions to leverage their current infrastructures to use with it.

That was pretty much discussion of the building of the bitcoin chain.

Still feels like an odd title
8756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling BTC at Ebay on: March 31, 2014, 03:58:12 AM
I tried selling dogecoin on ebay. The listing was up for about a week. I never made any sales, and ebay eventually deleted my listing, saying it was miscategorized (I gues I didn't put it in the "virtual" category). I saw other dogecoin sellers claim that they were selling a "penny" and that the dogecoins came along with the penny. These sellers were actually shipping a real penny to the buyers. I guess it worked for them, but seems silly.

That penny trick is just so that you can prove that you send something. In the end you are at paypal/ebays final decision, and in the past they are not very crypto friendly. Also 8-10% fees is just ridiculous for digital currency, but that is another story...

Well sell them a starter set comes with a CD guide and all the things you need to know about the currency
Then you can probably set a 2000-3000% premium on it

8757  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptostock alternatives on: March 31, 2014, 02:31:24 AM
Well there aren't really more just a bunch that used to exist
I guess 796 exchange lists Asicminer as well
https://796.com/xchange?op=market

Oh and Mpex (If you have 30BTC) If not coinbr
8758  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 60 Minutes: Stock Market Rigged on: March 31, 2014, 12:22:20 AM

8759  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES FOR APRIL ★★★ on: March 31, 2014, 12:20:26 AM
Guys,
we run a fair and honest casino. For players of our games and for our affiliate and signature programs.

We are paying for our signatures. And payout for March is April 1st around 11 am Ca time USA.
We even give you the time we are paying out!!!
If we were not going to pay, why would we be stating the time and date?

So please, don't believe the rubbish our competitors and the trolls are saying.

We will always beat our competitors on payout amounts. Remember, we have more than a dice game to promote as we are a full casino.
That means it is endless in what we can promote.

Stay cool

Ritz

Awesome. The rates will probably be 1btc per post if the competition between you and PD continues! Cheesy

Thanks for the heads up and it would be nice but hopefully the Bitcoin rates rise up afterwards so we can enjoy the increases, that said more BTC to play with is always a good thing.
Also nice to see more people participating now than at the beginning of the month Smiley
8760  Other / Meta / Re: BFL bringing down the trust rating? on: March 31, 2014, 12:15:46 AM
I don't see why people whine so much about the trust system, really all it is meant to do is serve as some sort of general guideline when dealing with new users. It's extremely sad that Inaba is bribing people to leave negative feedback for no reason. BFL has been unethical at best from day one but this sort of behavior is honestly just childish.

This one has to make some sort of toplist for weird things spread on the forum
I guess the lesson here is that if you don't like the system just break it
