8781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: January 23, 2018, 04:11:29 PM
+1 for SpectreCoin (XSPEC), best privacy coin with stealth addresses, ring signatures for transaction anonymity, Tor integrated and obfuscation (works in Tor blocked countries), 5% stake rewards, community funded devs with extensive cryptography experience, new updated wallet this week, with optional donations to developers.

And soon to come in v2.0 (around Q2 2018) - stealth staking! So, for the first time ever you can have PoS, stake rewards and anonymity!

Awesome. Given the level of anonymity features that this coin provides, it seems that it may become one of the best anonymous cryptocurrencies in existence. Enforcing Tor routing, and using Monero's ring signatures would become totally revolutionary. Also, the use of stealth address will help in achieving true privacy over any transaction.

Being a PoS cryptocurrency with privacy features, it could become a great investment for the long term. In my own opinion, the rewards are quite attractive given that it has potential to increase in price over the long term. I'll add this one to my list of PoS coins to invest. Wink

Look at HODL! The price increased 205% today! There is an interest of 5% if the coins are locked, not 10%. Normally the price is near 28 satochis.

Yes. HODL did experienced a huge price increase during this time, and has made me earn some nice profit along the way. I had some coins locked for over a year now, and it has given me great results. Being also a PoW coin, it is one of my favorite cryptocurrencies for investing and holding into the long term. Hopefully, it may gain traction in the future as popularity and usage of the cryptocurrency rises. Smiley

i think right now its PIVX. They implemented zero coin protocol, so it looks the most promising pos/masternode coin out there, with a cheap entry price. The dev team behind it is very capable.

I've always been following PIVX for the latest updates, and I'd have to say that it has a dedicated community and development team. They always bring innovation to their cryptocurrency project, and has come up with greater privacy by adding ZCash's tried and tested technology. Now, with ZK-SNARKS and masternodes, PIVX can achieve greater anonymity over users' transactions.

Given that it is a very active cryptocurrency, it has huge potential for growth in the future making it one of the best investments you'll ever make on a PoS coin. Smiley
8782  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: January 23, 2018, 04:05:43 PM
They don't want decentralized assets that's why they don't want to accept bitcoin in their regions. They want to control everything in their country. They don't want people to use decentralized economic assets.

That is certainly true, mate. Governments would always want to have authority over the economic system, with a currency under their control. Since Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are decentralized (except for Ripple), they may become a fierce rival against government’s current monetary system. Cryptocurrencies cannot be stopped by a third party given its distributed and decentralized nature. Therefore, it would be very troublesome for governments to adopt a decentralized currency.

However, while there will always be a separation between the government and Bitcoin, I believe that current fiat currencies will exist alongside cryptocurrencies. In any country where cryptocurrencies are considered legal, Bitcoin can grow and become used without restrictions within that region. But, if governments go against Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, then their growth would stale and it would become very difficult for them to become used in the mainstream.

Most recently, countries like China, and South Korea have been hunting down on cryptocurrency trades. This would make it even harder for people living on these regions to get access to cryptocurrency. With this, Bitcoin's growth would be delayed in those areas as governments and regulators act.

Nevertheless, I believe that at some point in the future, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will become stronger and resistant against any government's actions. Decentralized trading is key here towards eliminating control and manipulation of centralized exchanges by the governments. Just my opinion Smiley
8783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: January 22, 2018, 07:35:02 PM
why not? there are thousand altcoins in the market now and most of them are really potential to invest. You can research its history to understand and choose some coins to buy. My advice is NEM, Monero,Stellar and SXDT

Exactly. Lots of altcoins have great development teams, innovation, and most of all, a great vision towards mainstream adoption use of cryptocurrencies. They have a huge potential to transform our society within a few years from now (especially smart contract platforms like NEO, and Ethereum). As these coins have all different use cases, they may become a great investment for the long term.

Coins like Monero have huge potential to increase in value over the long term because it provides stronger anonymity than most cryptocurrencies in the market. On the other hand, Stellar provides fast, and cheap payments, and has made partnerships with IBM, leaving it room for greater growth in the future. And finally, there is NEM which is one of the most advanced cryptocurrencies in existence, with near instant transaction speeds, delegated harvesting, and more.

Other coins that are worth buying and have a bright future are Stratis, Dash, Lisk, and Ark. They all have dedicated development teams, and solid communities that makes them a great investment for the long term. One of the most interesting altcoins here is Ark, as it provides extremely fast transactions speeds, and has a unique feature called Bridged Blockchains which serves as a platform to bridge other cryptocurrencies into Ark. It is quite revolutionary and might make the cryptocurrency much more valuable over the long term.

Nevertheless, always take your time to research about these coins or others that are new into the market, before buying. If you do that, you'll always be one step ahead towards multiplying your money over the long term. Just my opinion Smiley
8784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: January 22, 2018, 07:30:09 PM
Coin is mainly used for gambling and to transfer funds when bitcoin fees are too high. Other than this I don't see any other use, I don't see active development.
Current price is 0.007$ and if it hasn't increased value to 1$ in last 5 years I don't see how it will in future. Maybe some crazy 150X pump but even if someone pumps it to 1$ dump will follow shortly.

Yes. There is no other use for Dogecoin except using it for gambling, and micropayments. Seeing how Bitcoin has been rising in fees lately, Dogecoin would make a great addition for anyone who's looking to reduce costs when sending money around the world. It has faster speeds, cheaper fees, and most of all, a friendly and supportive community. I think that is what makes DOGE special and it is one of the reasons why it has managed to survive in the market today.

In crypto land, anything is possible, as we've seen coins that were forgotten suddenly rise in value within a short time frame. While the $1 goal for DOGE seems too far from becoming a reality, it may happen if development becomes active again, and the supply becomes reduced. Despite the valuation of Dogecoin, it will continue to become used among many crypto enthusiasts for years to come. In this sense, I believe that Dogecoin has a very bright future. Just my thoughts Grin
8785  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: January 22, 2018, 07:25:06 PM
There all kind of scenaries, but nobody can really predict what will happen in 15 years (think about how much our life has changed in the last 15...).
It's possible that bitcoin will replace dollars, but it would be a so big change on so many levels that it would be a real revolution.
We'll see.

Only time will tell us what will happen within 15 years from now. Bitcoin has managed to grow at a fast pace ever since it came live on 2009. Given the traction it has experienced lately, there could exist the possibility of it becoming used with more frequency than the dollar. However, it may not fully replace the dollar since it is an unregulated digital currency that is also decentralized by nature. Things like these make it unfriendly for government adoption, as they would want currencies that they could control to their desire.

Therefore, I believe that the dollar and other national currencies will live alongside cryptocurrencies in the future (not replace existing monetary systems). Fiat currencies will make the shift to the blockchain, improving their speeds, transparency, and efficiency. Since they would be subject to manipulation, banks and governments would prefer these solutions over decentralized ones like cryptocurrencies. It would be up to the people to decide which currency they prefer to use more in the mainstream world. Just my opinion Smiley
8786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: January 22, 2018, 07:20:07 PM
Litecoin is far from being dead. Prices will correct but the project will still stay. it's faster block time makes it relevant and it's relevance will keep others in the market.

Exactly. No matter if the price plummets, or negative news come up against LTC, it will survive for the long term if it is supported by its users. We've seen over the past years that Litecoin has been able to stand the test of time by being a stable cryptocurrency in the markets. Its community comes to a better consensus for protocol upgrades, allowing to adopt scalable solutions or other improvements at a fast pace than Bitcoin itself.

Seeing a lot of traction that Litecoin has reached over the past year, I'd say that it's far from becoming dead anytime soon. It will always be the silver to Bitcoin's gold among many crypto enthusiats and investors alike, growing alongside the pioneer cryptocurrency for years to come. With Litecoin, people can enjoy many benefits over Bitcoin such as faster transaction speeds, cheaper fees, and more. Those are the things that will make LTC one of the biggest altcoins in market cap for the long term.

In addition, LTC's founder is well recognized among crypto land and it always supports its creation. Given these outcomes, Litecoin has a very bright future ahead of it. Just my thoughts Grin
8787  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 22, 2018, 07:15:20 PM
Investment will help us to make money while we are sleeping and that means that we will have a passive income and a passive income will be the key for us to make a lot more money in the future. If i were you, while you are investing, you should also make some savings in order to make back ups for your money if ever your investment will not do anything well.

Agree. When you invest money, and devise a passive income strategy, you would be able to grow your capital without having to work at all. The greater you invest, the greater the rewards will be, but be advised that the risk would be higher as well. The best way towards success here would be to combine both saving and investing. It's simple and if you propose yourself towards growing your capital, you'll be able to achieve peace of mind in the long term.

An emergency fund or backup plan is needed, just in case there's a collapse in the world's economy or something undesired happens in the future. When you save money and never touch it except for emergencies, you'll be able to gain control over your financial life and survive. On the other hand, when you invest, you'll be able to multiply your money over the long term allowing you to always have capital accessible in the times of need.

Banks are great for saving your money in the long term due to the security they provide. But you can also count on cryptocurrencies and invest your money into them to help grow your capital at a fast pace. Whatever you do, it's important that you keep in mind to never spend more than what you earn to avoid becoming bankrupt in the future. Just my opinion. Smiley
8788  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: January 22, 2018, 07:06:10 PM
Maybe it will happen in the next 20 years i guess because we can't change paper money and switch on to digital currency in just a wink there a lot of processing to consider especially on poor countries who are not yet familiar with modern technologies and also we can't have transactions without internet.

Yeah. Progress has been quite slow in third world countries to adopt new technologies. It may take quite some time before cashless payments are introduced to those people and make them get used to this new system. Since there are many poor countries in the world where people don't have accessibility to computers, or internet, a cashless society would take a couple of years from now before it becomes a reality.

I think that once the internet becomes over distributed over satellites around the world, people in countries where internet didn't reach before will do so by then. This will bring accessibility towards people using cashless payments limited by their ability to educate themselves about the same. Perhaps, in the future, when governments start rolling in their digital fiat currencies, they would contribute to the cause by giving their citizens the tools and education they need to make cashless payments.

It is only a matter of time before cashless payments like cryptocurrencies become a huge success in the future, or not. One thing for sure is that banks and governments have payed close attention to this new economy, thus making a cashless society possible in the long term. Just my thoughts Grin
8789  Economy / Services / Re: [Crypto-News.net] ★ Signature Campaign ★ | Senior - Legendary [FULL] on: January 21, 2018, 12:08:18 AM

Thanks for the payment from the signature campaign! It was just in time Smiley
8790  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: January 19, 2018, 07:13:45 PM
Cashless society  lead to a reduction in money supply and, consequently, a reduction in the cost the maintenance of the money supply(printing, storing, moving large amounts.

Exactly. These benefits may become too attractive for governments to let them slip away. Given the efficiency and environmental friendliness of digital currencies, governments around the world would have no choice but to adopt a cashless system in the future. With a cashless society, criminal activity such as money laundering may be reduced as governments would be able to track their issued fiat currencies from each citizen. This in effect, is bad for other people (even if they're not doing anything wrong) as it threatens their privacy.

However, since being cashless provides a lot more benefits than not doing so, I believe that this would be the way to go in the future. Every time that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies grow, governments pay attention to this and try to stop them from becoming huge. But, there will be a point where they cannot do anything, and cryptocurrencies will prevail leaving them with no choice but to join them in the long term.

Therefore, a cashless society may be bound to happen soon. Of course, it won't be fast and easy, but as time passes by, people will learn about this and governments will make their efforts towards educating their citizens into this new field. Just my thoughts Grin
8791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: January 19, 2018, 07:07:57 PM
This coin seems to me not to be undervalued at the present time. But, as life shows us, everything can change very quickly. Therefore, it is necessary to follow the news.

As of today, ZCash is way below the price it had since launch. In this sense, it could be considered undervalued as it has not even reached above the initial prices. Of course, ZEC has been quite slow with development and innovation, but I believe that soon it might rise in value exponentially when all of the crypto market starts to gain traction.

Despite everything, as you've said earlier, everything can change quickly. Especially in crypto land, any cryptocurrency can become extremely valuable and then become worthless within a short time frame. Since they're extremely volatile, we cannot predict what will happen in the future. But, as we follow the news, we could have an idea whenever it is the perfect time to invest into a specific cryptocurrency or not.

Given that there has been a rise in the number of ZEC clones lately, there are now varieties of coins that deliver ZCash's tried and tested technology, along with some extra features. It is only a matter of time before the competition becomes fierce, and other ZEC based coins take the lead.

Nevertheless, since ZEC has been rising in price slowly, it wouldn't hurt to invest into it for the long term. Things could get interesting in the future, if ZCash enforces shielded transactions by default, and people start using this feature with more depth. Just my opinion Smiley
8792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: January 19, 2018, 07:02:08 PM
I was so eager to learn everything there is about bitcoin and this blockchain thing. I earned my first satoshi through bitcoin faucet, I was addicted to it, in fact I had an hourly alarm just to visit the said faucet. Cheesy Along the way, I was introduced to this forum and got a decent paycheck with my works, also I had the chance to find a mentor who taught me everything about mining, trading, buying ICO's, and the likes.

Nice. Faucet earnings back at the time when I've started with Bitcoin, were worthless. After holding most of the satoshis into a paper wallet, now they've become worth something. Just like you did, I spent hours on a faucet just to get some free satoshis. Every hour, I had a timer set in my computer, to claim my earnings.

The first faucet I've started with was Moon Bitcoin. I had a lot of fun with it, and nowadays it is considered one of the best faucets around as it accumulates satoshis over time, and lets you claim your reward at any time. While I didn't have a mentor like you did, I took the time to browse the forums and educate myself with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in existence. It was then that I've joined signature campaigns and earned more Bitcoin than claiming satoshis from faucets.

Now, I want to learn more about the blockchain and become an expert to help others who're new into the field. I know that my experiences within the field would've been worth it in the long term. Wink
8793  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: January 19, 2018, 06:53:53 PM
The best strategy for investing is to be patient and never panic when prices are down, remember that investing takes time for profit, much to learn before investments include a waiting strategy.

Exactly. With every investment you make, there must be patience, otherwise you'll never reach ROI over the long term. I've learned that when everybody panic sells a stock, asset, or cryptocurrency, it is the perfect time to invest. Before you know it, prices will jump back again and you'll be able to achieve some nice profit.

While there is no specific strategy that works with making your investment succeed, it is always best to analyze the charts, make a research about the project or asset you're investing into, and diversify your investment. This way, you can assure a steady financial life without worrying becoming bankrupt in the future. There's no such thing as a get rich quick strategy, as making money with your investments take time. Just my thoughts Grin
8794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: January 19, 2018, 06:48:48 PM
A few years ago I thought doge is a shit coin that has no future.but I missed the chance to be rich. Sad Sad  Doge is almost .01$ now, Hoping it will hit soon into marketplace. because people buying this coin now a days hugely.

Same. I didn't imagine that a cryptocurrency that was considered a joke, would get this far. The whole cryptocurrency sector has gained a lot of popularity recently, and I believe that as people discover Dogecoin's benefits over Bitcoin, they will use it more for their daily transactions. Holding into Dogecoin for the long term, might not be ideal since it has a huge supply, but you can hold for the short term and sell some DOGE as soon as it reaches your desired price levels.

Last time, DOGE was near the $0.01 mark. Seeing that it has gained a lot of traction recently (despite it lacks development), I believe that Dogecoin has a very bright future ahead of it. All it needs is just a little pizzazz and it could reach farther than $0.01 within a few years from now.

Nevertheless, even if Dogecoin falls in price, it will still be in the eyes of many people, as the most fun and exciting cryptocurrency in existence. Just my opinion Smiley
8795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: January 19, 2018, 06:33:18 PM
Officially died? I've read that Litecoin is the fifth largest crypto by market cap with a market valuation of $15.85 billion, behind fourth-place Cardano, with $28 billion.

Yes. Despite many say that Litecoin is dead, it is in fact all the contrary. Bitcoin's brother has managed to remain solid in the markets, and grow alongside other altcoins in existence. Being a fast and cheap cryptocurrency for everyday transactions, I believe that Litecoin will continue to become used in the mainstream world for years to come.

Many altcoins out there have risen and fallen, but Litecoin has remained stable and while Bitcoin has experienced many forks along its course, LTC hasn't making it one of the most solid cryptocurrencies in existence.

Nevertheless, the only way that Litecoin could be considered dead is if it stops trading in the exchanges and its blockchain would no longer be supported by users, miners, and node operators. Just my opinion Smiley
8796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: January 18, 2018, 04:25:19 PM
Are you trying to list somewhere else then bittrex?

It is a very big exchange yes but it has very big problems for some time and i don't want to use there.

Me neither. Bittrex is very troublesome both in support and usage. It's better off for XEL to become listed in better exchanges that have quick support and great liquidity. If Elastic gets listed on a good exchange, it would certainly gather a lot of attention from big traders and investors on the markets. Liquidity is key here to make the cryptocurrency soar to new all-time highs in price.

Things aside, I've been watching closely XEL as it brings something innovative in the blockchain industry. I believe that decentralized computing is the future, and will become a fierce rival against centralized solutions such as VPS, cloud computing, and more. While there are other projects which are like XEL such as Golem, XEL has unique features and a great development team guiding it every step of the way.

Since XEL is based off its own blockchain (in contrast to Golem which relies on ETH blockchain where it experiences delays), it would have less load in processing transactions. It would be ideal to invest into this cryptocurrency for the long term, given its huge potential to become a solid decentralized computing platform in crypto land.

Nevertheless, I hope that XEL could get the attention it deserves and become a better competitor against other decentralized computing projects. The competition is fierce, but only those who can provide enough mainstream support will certainly succeed. Smiley
8797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: January 18, 2018, 04:20:20 PM
I think it's quite amazing that Litecoin is still on top in terms of marketcap, still seems to be an all time favourite among traders after all these years.
Even Dash and Monero have recently dropped out of the top 10, being replaced by tokens that were previously  unknown to most people, like Cardano etc.

Don't forget that many people are now also using Litecoin to escape Bitcoin's high fees and slow confirmation times.
The future is definitely looking bright for Litecoin.

Completely agree with you, mate. Given that people have been using Litecoin for cheaper fees, it has a very bright future. Since Litecoin will always be the silver to Bitcoin's gold, (and it has a tried and tested codebase) it will remain solid in the markets for years to come. Whenever BTC grows, LTC will follow as it grows alongside the king of cryptocurrencies for years to come.

Compared to most altcoins in existence, Litecoin is by far one of the most secure cryptocurrencies after Bitcoin. It is one of the oldest in the market and it could continue to gain traction as it adopts the Lightning Network for even greater speeds and cheaper fees. Best of all, users would be able to switch from LTC to BTC or vice versa by making use of Lightning's features. All of this indicates that Litecoin's future is huge and those who are early adopters of the cryptocurrency will benefit greatly from its price increase in the long term.

Even if Litecoin has a bigger supply than Bitcoin, it is still limited in supply as there are other altcoins that have huge supplies and less chances of increasing in value in the future. Given the outcomes that BTC has experienced, I'm sure that LTC will reach $1,000 soon.

Nevertheless, the future for LTC is full of excitement, as it gains popularity and traction over the course of time. Just my thoughts Grin
8798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: January 18, 2018, 04:15:09 PM
For a cryptocurrency that is a reasonable medium for exchange, Dogecoin certainly has a good future. It can be expected that its value will rise in the coming months.

Agree. Even if Dogecoin lacks development, it has managed to retain its place in the market for quite a few years. Given that it's real use case is for tipping and micropayments, the DOGE will have a very bright future ahead of it. Each day, the meme cryptocurrency becomes popular in crypto land. New people jump in, and take advantage of DOGE's fast speeds and cheap transaction costs.

What was once a joke cryptocurrency, has now started to become a serious medium of exchange for anyone to send money around the world at a cheaper cost than Bitcoin. Perhaps, in the future, we may be able to see a community takeover for Dogecoin to make it better than ever and up-to-date with today's standards. Scalable solutions (although not necessary now) like SegWit and Lightning Network would prove to be a major boost towards Dogecoin's capacity. Of course, DOGE is still fine as is, but improvements like these will make the cryptocurrency even better for long term use.

In the future, we may be able to see Dogecoin become worth at least $1. Since many cryptos out there with huge supply (like NEM) have reached $1 and above, there is nothing stopping DOGE from reaching such goal. Just my opinion Smiley
8799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: January 17, 2018, 04:03:20 PM
I ignored Bitcoin for a very long time.  Longer than I should have obviously.  Started buying after it was very expensive.  Otherwise I would have been very rich.

Same. I feel sorry for not having invested money into Bitcoin back in 2010 when I've first heard about it. Prices were dirt cheap, but I've decided to ignore the cryptocurrency as I didn't think that it would have any future. Years later, in 2014, I've realized the true potential of Bitcoin and started earning some coins by visiting faucets, mining it, and participating in signature campaign. Nowadays, I have earned quite a lot of money, but if I would've joined Bitcoin by 2010, I would've been a millionaire by now.

Anyways, it is better late than never, and now that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have started to fall, it is the best time to buy cheap coins before they return to their original price levels. Every time I learn something new about crypto and blockchain technology, I earn experience that will help me teach others who are new into this field. Therefore, the best way to learn will always be this community which is full of experts that will guide you every step of the way. Wink
8800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: January 17, 2018, 03:57:04 PM
There are many altcoins to try with, but i think NAV Coin is best fitted for you. This team are looking for a real investors right now. you should try.

Thanks for the tip. NAVcoin has interesting features such as NAVTech to preserve users' privacy. Given the level of development, and innovation it has, it could become very valuable in the long term. PoS coins like this one have huge potential towards becoming extremely popular in the cryptocurrency market. Therefore, investing in them can give you huge rewards over the long term. As such, I'll be adding this one to my favorite PoS coins for investing in 2018.

Another good PoS coin to invest into is Magi. While this one is also a PoW coin, it gives some nice rewards when you stake it. Best of all, occasionally, Magi has a Proof of Interest campaign which gives you even bigger returns over your investment. It is cheap nowadays and could become much more valuable over the long term.

Nevertheless, now that prices of the whole cryptocurrency market have started to decline, it is the best opportunity to grab some PoS coins and start growing your capital towards your financial success. Just my thoughts Grin
