8782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: U.S Presidential Election || Discussion and odds on: October 16, 2016, 06:18:33 AM
Donald Trump is the man he really deserves the chance to become next President. He can be much more useful for U.S with fresh ideas though these representatives are just faces and have vert limited powers to change the establishments goals which are pre-determined for everyone. I will bet on Donald Trump instead of Hillary Clinton.

Betting based on your personal views and feelings is the way to lose, in this case Donald Trump looks like a really bad choice for betting, so if you bet some big amount on him just because you like him you may suffer double loss: one because your favorite candidate has lost, and the second because you also lost the money.
8783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: October 16, 2016, 02:57:04 AM
This is a wonderful thread which would give us clarity on our investment and which would encourage us what to select if you are planning to invest, great job by the way ,will be looking into this thread every month

Yeah, it is a beautiful experimental project to show us the detailed profit from different Casino Investment.  This will help those who want to invest in Casino house since we see a live feed of data every week.  Thanks for creating this thread to show us the statistics of return of investment of different gambling sites.

Still it doesn't guarantee any future, for example Moneypot was providing a good profit half a year ago, maybe in a few months Betking and Safedice will be in red for some time. Diversifying investments seems like a good idea to make profit more consistent and less risky.
8784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: October 16, 2016, 02:40:37 AM
Betting on sports is obviously gambling because you are risking money and anything where luck is needed I think is gambling.

Investing and trading also involve risking your money for a profit yet no one calls it gambling. Sports betting has something in common with the former as you can try to predict outcomes by reasoning.
So, is sports betting a sort of gambling? Yes, because its outcomes are much more random than in trading or investing, so it's very hard to have reliable profit from it, which makes it gambling by definition.
8785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: October 16, 2016, 01:49:00 AM
The smartest thing you can do in gambling is to make a monthly limit for the amount you deposit on gambling sites and never ever cross it. Than you should split this amount between your gambling sessions (for example 4 sessions per month). By managing your money this way you will not lose more than you can not afford to.
8786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: October 16, 2016, 01:40:47 AM
Actually i never saw a man, who has rich from Gambling?
I m not playing gambling because i saw a lot of people who has lost everything in gambling.
So i want to ask if anyone is here how has rich from GAMBLING ??

Gambling brings be good and reliable profit because I'm investing in casinos bankroll. Gambling is made to bring profit to casino operators and by investing my money I'm becoming their partner and they share profit with me.
8787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 8 out of 10 chance of winning in gambling... on: October 16, 2016, 01:37:02 AM
Hi guys I just want to share you my method in gamblinv which I use it in satoshimine and dice site. This method is not a 100% winning chance but it is a high percentage of winning than losing. Just open up your initial fund as like as 0.001 btc or 0.002 btc. Then setup your goal profit to  0.005btc-0.01 btc. Bet as your instinct. Double or triple your bet if necessary to be able to reach easily your goal profit. Qiit the game if you win and play again tomorrow.

Your title is misleading, if you have 0.001 BTC bankroll your chances of winning 0.005btc-0.01 btc would be 20% and 10% accordingly (this is numbers without house edge, real numbers are slightly lower).
So in fact you have 8 or 9 out of 10 chance of losing. By using this strategy every day you can expect to lose part of your wagered amount equal to the house edge, just like with any other strategy.
8788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would anyone be interested on a dice site powered by a learning AI? on: October 15, 2016, 11:59:19 AM
Can you explain how this would be possible to learn AI for dice game but I think there will be more high chance to get cheated from the house, because it will be hard for anyone to keep it running without any house edge where only player always will make profit by using this AI for dice game.
There are AIs that learn playing games out of scratch and this AI would be based on that. Check sethbling's MarI/O

Why would we need an AI for dice? Gambling is supposed to be based on randomness, bringing some agent that decides winners and losers only creates a field for cheating, I don't see any benefits for players.

You can try creating some other games with your A.I. but you won't be able to control outcomes if those games are competitive, like chess or checkers.
8789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling any one got cheated by house? on: October 15, 2016, 11:16:22 AM
Many players like to blame their losses on cheating which is very bad for business and usually result in immediate chat ban.
Players should carefully gather evidence of cheating to support their claims if they want to be taken seriously by gambling community.
8790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 15, 2016, 11:06:29 AM
Here's my thoughts why many people lose in the long run.

When you look at the profit chart it will look like a random wave - sometimes you are in profit, sometimes in loss and you always oscillate between profit and loss from your total of gambling activities, while being slightly pushed to the loss side due to the house edge. Now the thing is most players don't quit on their profit peak, they always want more money and eventually fall into lose zone, which becomes harder to get out from, because it requires some amount of money to recover all your losses.
8791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The House always wins. on: October 15, 2016, 10:48:27 AM
Well house is supposed to win when there is a house edge. But, now there are games with 0% house edge, where players get equal chance to win.

But gambling houses are not doing any charity work to distribute their money to gamblers. So even though 0% house edge then know that if anyone gamble for longer period they can win at the end so to attract gamblers they will come up with these 0% house edge tricks. Gambling is not for making money so gamble carefully.

That is what i have been saying so far. Casino is not a charity. It is meant to take money away from you. So they will do things to ensure that you will be losing in the long run but at the same time let you believe you got chance to win to hook you up for long.

Usually they don't do any "things" and are provably fair. House edge is purely mathematical, lets for example look at Dice.

You can roll anything from 0 to 100 and bet that you hit some range - the smaller the range - the bigger the reward. But casino has a slight edge, so your reward will be slightly smaller than the risk.

In this Dice example with 2x payout chances to win would be 50% with 0% house edge, 49.5% with 1% house edge, 49% with 2% house edge, etc.
8792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the difference between game and gamble? on: October 15, 2016, 09:53:51 AM
what do you think it is?

gamble

Outside of obvious difference in risk in money, games are supposed to be winnable if you put enough of effort, players are in control of the outcome. In gambling outcome is random, and usually gambling operators have a small amount of control which is called "house edge".
8793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it Sports Betting is better than other type of gambling? on: October 15, 2016, 09:50:51 AM
I want to know why people always pushing sports betting as a type of gambling that can give the punters the best chance to win? I need your opinion on the subject and hope you guys can share your informative comments here.

This is only true if you have enough skill and knowledge to predict outcomes over the long run, otherwise you may lose much more than in standard casino games.
People recommend sports betting because it has potential to have positive expected long term value, unlike casino games, where the house will always be in advantage.
8794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: October 14, 2016, 11:45:10 AM
I would point you guys to the website WizardofOdds. He tests out plenty of gambling systems, and he also wagers money that any system will never beat the house in the long run. You can never beat the house!

Have you guys ever wonder, how long have casinos been in existence and they are still here and still standing strong. Not to mention, they are cheating their patrons! That is the power of the House Edge!

What is great about Bitcoin casinos is that their Provably Fair system effectively eliminates any cheating, you simply can't beat the math behind they cryptographic random seeds.

In my opinion Bitcoin casinos are much better than real casinos or other online casinos, because they are relatively anonymous, easy to access, fast, truly fair and have the lowest house edges.
8795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling worth playing? on: October 14, 2016, 11:40:10 AM
Everyday my friend gambles with his money as same with his life and he always gambling throwing away his money for nothing but losing and the worth part of it is he owes me money  Angry Angry

Never give loan to a gambler, and I also suggest you to tell all his friends to not give him any money either. Try to go out with your friend, take part in some healthy activities.
Explain him that gambling can't be a reliable source of profit and that he should work hard to earn money, instead of believing in luck.

8797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: October 14, 2016, 10:49:16 AM
That's some pretty impressive stats from Betking, Safedice and Crypto-games for 2 months making 38% profit , no bank can give you such amount of interest. It appears that the more number of players these casinos have the less the chance of losing their investment as even if some whale wins a big amount the number of the players is so big that it's an irrelevant win. Great sites to invest our coins.

It's not exactly number of players but wagered amount from all players, which is not the same, because people have different bankrolls.
So, people who look into investing in casino should check their statistics and pick the most popular sites in terms of wagered amount.

the only thing i can not make investment in gambling site is to make deposit at least for 1 bitcoin because i am not have 1 bitcoin yet. i think if the deposit for investment is lower than 1 bitcoin, then many people will be investment on the gambling site.

You don't need to have 1 BTC to start investing, for example the minimum investment amount at Crypto-Games is 0.01 BTC, it is around the same on other sites.

I think it's wise to invest some part of your savings in crypto casinos, you will have reliable profit without worrying much about it.
8798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The House always wins. on: October 14, 2016, 07:25:05 AM
The odds are the house their favor and that is what they call house edging if I am correct, they need to do that in order to make money because the casino is a business after all.
People know this and this still accept the fact that they have a lesser chance of winning.

This is right.
Some people on this forum think that house edge is unfair and it's something like cheating, but they forget that casinos had a lot of spendings: servers, security, advertising, development, stuff salaries and so on.
If we take real casinos, they have even more spending, so their house edge is much bigger (2.5 % - 5 %).
In this light gamblers should view house edge as a payment for organization of gambling.
8799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is needed to have success as a Crypto Gambling Game/Dice/Casino operator? on: October 14, 2016, 06:58:45 AM
Hi,

I was wondering why some games or dice sites have more success than others.

What is needed to have success in the Crypto gambling space?

Do you think gambling is here to stay or it can die in some years?

What do you look when gambling BTC? Is it the bankroll of the site, when it was launched?

Also, what is your favorite Bitcoin game or site to gamble at?

Do you prefer in-chain games where you don't need to deposit or games where you deposit funds and play?

Looking to get some great insights.

Bitcoin gambling becomes a very saturated market, so you have to do a lot of work to create a popular gambling site.

First you need to make a very good user interface, players must always feel comfortable and never get annoyed even after hours spent on your site.

The second important thing is chat - people will simply stay and gamble more if they can talk with other players.

After that comes all additional features like bonuses, tournaments, faucet, etc.

After launch you just need to heavily invest in advertising and never stop looking for opportunities to promote your casino.
8800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: October 14, 2016, 06:33:43 AM
Is their any safe methods to gamble? Means without losing much of our money can gamble?

If you have gambling problem and want to quit, you can play with your friends while using play money, this will help you to gradually reduce your addiction and will let you to socialize with people and have fun at the same time.
