Every strategy in gambling has to base on luck, and strategies are not be appropriately to used forever, because things change so fast on gambling sites. So, gamblers have to change their strategies to adapt with whatever changes made by sites' owners. It's good if gamblers try to find their strategies to play and win as well as reduce losses. However, it is just funny strategy and is something can help to increase confidence of gamblers. Gambling strategies should not be exagerrated too much. Gamble for fun with minds prepared for losses from bets. Relying too much on strategies might lead to losses when strategies are right or outdated with changes of gambling sites.
mount.

I would say the only thing strategy does correctly is to ensure you can play as long as possible (as in, make your deposit last long with as much wager as possible). The more bets you can make, the more likely to hit jackpot, for example, or to enjoy loyalty bonuses for sites that have rakeback or cashback, or bigger faucets with bigger levels, etc.

Strategies do give people a false sense of confidence though! I agree here. Especially if it works the first few times!
8782  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: May 09, 2019, 05:57:35 AM
I don't know what could be the reason you consider only 0.5 bitcoin of the tickets sold as "real" and the others are "given away" but in reality I honestly believe none of it was given away, these are money you may not have seen if you didn't had the contest so its all a profit for freebitcoin if you ask me.

All you need to do is look back at the site's history of past lottery draws (yes that's right, it's all available for everyone to see and is one of the best damn things about this site). Before 1 May, the date of the Lambo draw, people were still wagering and buying lotto tickets. So it's clear for all to see, there was money to be seen even before the contest started. As TheQuin says, hard to ask for hard numbers because it's subjective what a promotion does.
8783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 08, 2019, 08:13:37 AM
First of all, well done Liverpool. I felt it was all over after Origi made it 4 to nil. This is one of the worst nights of my life. I didn't even feel so bad last time when Roma did it, because I thought, at least we will learn our lesson.

Looks like we didn't. Messi is magic, he always is, he pulled off great moves last night but the defending was too awesome. Matip's stealing off the ball from his feet in one chance was the best, and then Allison save. We deserve to lose, I'm really so angry. So happy a week ago and now so down. Nothing but King's Cup to look forward to.

Now I just remember that chance wasted by Dembele in last minutes of first leg game...
This failure is total fault of Valverde. He didn't learned anything from last year. Barca came to Anfield to save score, not to play football. There was no quality in midfield, defence was in panic after second goal. When Barca needed to score goal urgently, they weren't able to create nothing, they were just passing ball. Especially Malcom - he just didn't knew what he need to do with ball.
I'm not even talking about Coutinho.
About Liverpool performance - it's fucking unbeleavable what they did. And probably that 4th goal is a best reflection of this game. Only one team played football tonight. And for me as a fan of Barca, it's so difficult to experience such disasters two season in a row.
P.S. Allison kicked out Barca in style second year in a row - remember where he played last year...

I just realized that now too. Allison has now survived two Nou Camp disasters, but kept clean sheets for both Roma and Liverpool. That guy is the unmentioned hero.

I have to say I agree this is Valverde's fault for sure. I was saying when we lost to Celta Vigo it was a wrong move. He rested all the stars when he knows we have to deal with Liverpool high press. We needed fit and sharp players, not rested and distracted. There was totally no hunger from all of them at all and it is because of the mentality instilled by the manager. This Barca is getting old and if we don't change, we will become Real Madrid too complacent.
8784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season preparations on: May 08, 2019, 06:55:40 AM
I think the smart move was already buying Bitcoin up in bulk. There can never be a wrong step in accumulating Bitcoin, but I would still put my money in established alts with much more growth left like Monero and Litecoin. I can never really be convinced to put more than 1% into any of the coins you mentioned, simply because there isn't any utility for any of them. Like it or not, there's just a few coins we can actually use.
8785  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: May 08, 2019, 06:12:11 AM
Is there a set time for new betting events to be added? Or should I just keep checking the page?

It's all still a bit experimental at the moment. We started adding the shorter single match events because that was what people here asked for, but there wasn't really much betting happening. Doing it this way makes a lot of manual work for us so it doesn't really seem worth it. We're looking into available sports betting feeds to see if we could integrate them instead. The PvP betting does seem to be popular with the longer term events so we'll probably add more of those. Just keep checking the page. We are going to make it sortable by category soon so you'll be able to list it by most recently added.

I made a couple of bets as well, but I wouldn't know how it works with payouts until I win/lose them. I managed to get them in at 99% weight... is there an easy way to see the calculations for how the winnings might work out if you win? For example, if you bet, it shows you a rough estimate of how much your prize money will be IF you win?
8786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saudi officials assert that the fabrication of the bitcoin is illegal on: May 07, 2019, 08:39:38 AM
Wow, do they even know that you don't really "fabricate" bitcoin? You can fabricate USD, you can even fabricate fake ones easily, as all the darkmarkets online will testify. But you can't just create Bitcoin out of thin air without the proper equipment (and a bit of luck). Besides, haven't they learnt that if you make anything that is related to Bitcoin as illegal, you just push them underground? Smart move is to legalize and then take your cut.
8787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is still Green this month. What do you think? on: May 07, 2019, 08:05:12 AM
It doesn't mean that the market is green bitcoin will touch at $20,000,

Investors clearly understands that, but this green that were are seeing is a sign that soon we will have a new ATH again.
Believe me $20,000 is possible to be achieve this year if the price movement that we are currently enjoying is consistent and will continue.

Investors do not understand anything, they only understand profit, they do understand momentum and will buy at the first sign of fomo, and sell at the first sign of FUD. This green doesn't mean anything, except that it's green and people will take profit. There's nothing to say a new ATH, we're touching 30% of the old 20k ATH for Bitcoin, and for alts, it's not even that, so there's really nothing to say we will hit old heights, not this year and not even next.
8788  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to win in Freebitco.in on: May 07, 2019, 06:54:36 AM
That's exactly what it is, though. People's expectations from gambling always win. But, unfortunately, there is no such thing as a permanent win. If you want to have fun and win while having fun, you can try something. But the loss is always part of this event.
there is never a sure bet in gambling no Matter the mechanism you are using to play and place your bet, gambling is an unpredictable game because you are not the only one involved in playing the game. While we are having fun play gambling games we have to be lucky to win at the end.

This is the only truth that gamblers ignore. Winning is never permanent, neither is it the expected outcome, no matter how long you are trying or how hard. In fact, the simple truth is unless you are the house with an edge, then the longer you play, the more you gamble, the closer you are to losing if you haven't already. Keep it in mind and you will slowly begin to enjoy gambling for what it is: entertainment.
8789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETH reach $200 after the upgrade on: May 07, 2019, 06:24:41 AM
If we see in the last 24 hours, Ethereum experienced significant price growth. The price reaches $ 174, and it will answer that the price can reach $ 200. But indeed it must require extra patience, while waiting for a more powerful pump. I think this will happen in the near future.

Well, we've seen ETH reach $180 already last month, so if this rally touches $180 again, it will probably go ahead and touch $190. I tell you what, though, if it does hit $200 it will probably go higher and higher. But watch out for pullbacks, I think there are many whales willing ETH price to go down after a new high, so take profits regularly (unless you're long termer like me).
8790  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market is back? on: May 06, 2019, 08:26:25 AM
I'm a little concerned about the fact that ETH isn't really moving at the same pace as BTC? Anyways, we're still a long way to go till we see BTC near 40K.
Here's a cool article about BTC's path to being worth 20K-40K https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/bitcoin-the-path-from-4000-to-40000/

I'm not, really. Check out the Top 20 altcoins, all but one or two of them are in "red" versus Bitcoin, which is the main reason for USD pull back. BTC's been dragging the entire market along for its ride for god knows how long so it's good to see every now and then periods where it seems to be moving on its own. Monero is another alt that has been consistently also doing its own thing for a while. That should be good news in the long term, because alts should be independent, I feel.
8791  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF and World Bank explore crypto merits with blockchain project on: May 06, 2019, 08:03:25 AM
What is advanced in paypal, paypal that not all users can have access to, what right do they have to give privilege to some users than others, we have lots of people that would love to use paypal for their business in  my country but cant, because pay-pal limit their use to just sending money alone and cannot receive money which is making them loose lots of international customers. You can not even compare the transaction fee of blockchain technology to that of paypal, paypal is just too expensive.

Well paypal made it easier to send money to someone who doesn't even have paypal. For example, if I want to send BTC to my friend who doesn't have a wallet, it's impossible unless I give him a whole set of private keys, but with PP you can send a gift card or even send them an email with the Paypal balance, and they can sign up and take the balance.

I believe in Bitcoin 100% but I'm not blind to its disadvantages, nor should anyone.
8792  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistic Predictions for Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2019, 06:58:23 AM
The prediction may be possible but it will take time before that will be achieved because the US dollars will try as possible to retain it value against bitcoin but in the long run bitcoin will keep beating the dollars on the exchange. The 98million dollars bitcoin price will one day come to pass.
Predictions would be true but to achieve the price it will take long. Many predictions on the bitcoin price so for it to happen their is more adoption occur in crypto. The realistic predictions once bitcoin price expectation achieve so exactly it will keeps competing on the dollars in the exchange.

What's realistic, really? I don't think anyone would have said $1k was realistic all those years ago when it made $1k for the first time. I bet you noone thought $10k was realistic either when we reached this price not too long ago. How about $20k right? And then with all these predictions of 100k and 1 million floating about? My brains tell me these are all fantasies but who knows? We've been surprised over and over again.

I would rather trust up Freebit.co than on this one yet they are more established than any new sites as of this moment. Freebit.co can possibly hit it up and about credibility then they are entirely different.
Dont be afraid because no fool would throw their money even if the ticket is just cheap.

Well, in my honest opinion, both Freebitco.in and this guy have some reputation, in fact some people would argue this guy is more "legit" because he has appeared in the news before, he probably has some company behind his name, and basically due diligence would be easier to do on him. Not so freebitco.in, which is anonymous except for the presence on this forum. I trust freebitcoin much more naturally because I play there and have money there.
8794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Chain Could Send Ethereum Price Back to Double-Digits: Analyst on: May 05, 2019, 05:43:47 PM
In the history of cryptocurrency, we have a lot of first exchanges.
mt.gox
tradehill
bitcoin market
bitfloo
coinex

very long list
They finally disappeared. Only the bitcoin Survive.
so i think binance chain is shit,Great risk

I wouldn't really say that bitfloo or coinex is as big as Mt Gox, but I kinda agree with your point. For me the big ones are like Poloniex or even Kraken, and Coinbase now, but if you see how Binance and Bittrex are the ones people are using these days, then you know the days of the big boys are never long in the sun.

Binance will probably still be big for a year or two more, but there will be others even better who will take over the throne.
8795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: May 05, 2019, 05:12:15 PM
Good to see Valverde is taking Liverpool seriously and rested key players. Yes, we lost to Celta Vigo but we needed our fringe players to take their shots as well and get a good run on the pitch. I do wonder sometimes though about resting players too long, because some people actually play better if they're competing every week, something to do with muscle conditioning.

Two more nights before Anfield. I'm really nervous even with the 3-0 lead.

HighArT, Real Madrid should win everything left. Nothing but pride to play for!
8796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any knows the mathematical formula to winning the lottery? on: May 05, 2019, 10:39:36 AM
I wonder if any and i would be happy to know. What will happen to gambling if everyone knows the formula and wins the game if any. If this is there then, the game wont be much addictive.
Even the house doesn’t know the formula on some of the games like sports betting so gambling is nothing if everyone here will know how to always make profit. Lottery is a big thing and its about a millions of money so I believe even if you are genius about math you can’t still win because of the odds.

The house always knows the odds and formulas, they even know how to adjust things according to risk, it's all based on algorithm now. Any house that doesn't know this and yet still allows people to place bets will eventually lose and bust. You simply can't enter the business if you're not prepared and educated. But anyway, that's sportsbooks. Lotteries are far easier to calculate because odds are fixed. Also, traditional lotto companies take out insurance that pays out when winners pay. Nothing is left to chance, sorry to burst your bubble!
8797  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: May 05, 2019, 10:04:46 AM
Yeah, and that would be a god damn nice if the exchange rate within that period is around $2500 or 80 BTC...birth to another freebitco.in whale in the wagering contest lol. And the most important thing is to feed it with load shit of fuel, maintenance, fixes...all having a good price quote Cheesy

Don't jinx it haha. I will be throwing in a few of my own tickets in the mix, but we got a whole lot of time before that happen. If I win it, I'm definitely going to set aside maybe half of that to risk in wagering and getting a win in the normal lotto you know what they say, right? You get a lucky streak, you better make full use of it. Call it fantasy but hey, a guy can dream all the time if he hasn't got much to do else correct?Wink
8798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Promising Altcoins to Invest in 2019 on: May 04, 2019, 11:24:09 AM
In my opinion, the current ICOS or IEO projects I don't like by investing in coinmarketcap Altcoins such as EDO and KMD are the two Altcoins that I identify the potential for long-term investment. The value of two Altcoins this is declining and at a low price.EDO 0.57 $ and KMD $ 1.03 platform works very well and promising for the future

You see the big issue I have with a lot of altcoins, even with those who support them, is that there is so little actual information backing up their support in terms of fundamental technology. What all the analysis seems to boil down to, like yours, is just in terms of market tech analysis. Oversold, overbougt, trend lines, bottoming out, whatever. EDO and KMD and Xcoin are no longer differentiated by tech but by their tokenomics. Isn't that strange?
8799  Economy / Gambling / Re: ReelDice.com - The Bitcoin Dice Industry meets change on: May 04, 2019, 11:02:48 AM
Hi Slaman,

A sense of humor is important in this industry.  Grin

The manual setting for the payout adjustment is below the slider. There is a field there called Bet Line. You can manually enter your preferred bet line there. We could also convert that to a Number field which will give you an up or down arrow inside the field. Hell, I'll probably ask for that tomorrow.

We worked for weeks on just the speed alone. It was very frustrating and hard work. But it paid off rather well. Thank you for recognizing that.

Showers, yes, our calculations indicate we can manage the showers even if they happen to surprise us. We have adequate funds in place for any harsh surprises.

Most sites will not allow people to withdraw faucet earnings, but we believe that rather than pay advertising, it's better to actually reward the players. The only unknown is abuse. For the moment, we're trying to avoid placing restrictions on the showers. If it gets to be too much we'll think of something that isn't some CAPTCHA that we all hate.

Thank you very much for your response, I must admit to myself sometimes I am not the smartest kid on the playground;) So yes, I found the manual adjuster below the slider. And yes the actual number field is best, some of us have very specific percentage chance or payout chance we like to use.

Speed is also as you say so important to dicers. I cannot stress that enough.

I've seen a lot of sites also play around with faucets to prevent abuse but I think if the system itself is good, the faucet doesn't have to be the main deterrent (as in the size).

Welcome once more.
8800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: May 04, 2019, 09:44:46 AM
I don't take a lot of times in trading. Specifically I'm not a full time trader. I get to do some few trading with eth, i buy low sell high.. but eventually i got stucked. Trading is about dedicating time and being an expert in it.

Um, duh you buy low and sell high. The only thing I miss about forex was the ability to sell high without buying low first, as in to sell and promise to return it hoping that the price gets lower. I know some exchanges offer this but the problem with most exchanges I use is you can't short coins. And therein is why most traders lose, because they can't take advantage of bursts like yesterday to short alts. I'd do it all the time until I know a bullrun is in place.
