881  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: May 13, 2016, 07:58:50 AM
I am collecting from signature campaign and trading, sometimes I also try my luck on gambling but that is once in a blue moon with very small amount that I can afford to loose.
You better stay with signature campaign and trading, its more safer than gambling. You have to learned it from the experience of our brothers here who got broke because of gambling. Let not gambling ruined your life and your positive plan ahead.

Most don't gamble to the point where it ruins their life.   But it is a bad bet from the beginning you go into it knowing overall you will lose based on odds.   Everyone who does it thinks but they will be the random winner!   It just does not work that way, you might get a lucky streak... but in the end it catches up to you. And most play dice it seems... which is a no skill game.

Take those signature earnings and store them away safely, and just hold them.  You will be much happier over time doing this vs the up and ultimately downs of gambling.
882  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: REMOTE DESKTOP BIG PROBLEM PLEASE HELP on: May 13, 2016, 07:55:18 AM
I will throw this laptop through my window if remote desktop connection will not start working soon!!!!!!!!!!

http://prntscr.com/b2fs5x

"Your credentials did not work"  - this is the error that I get all the time!
I tried this:

- I deleted Default.rdp file which was EMPTY
- I have tried to enter local account and Microsoft account credentials
- firewall off, didn't help

I have Windows 10 Professional.
VPS service that I use is active, it did not expired.

What can I do, please help I am pissed off!!!! googled about this last 3 hours and nothing helps

just use teamviewer free

I tried to suggest it really is a great program you can set it up with your account very easy.   I don't use it with computers with any wallets on them as I'm overprotective.  But I use them on a few PC's I'm playing with ether on.

And I have used it since GPU mining years back.  And always have had at least a system up and running with it so I can remote in and view/control miners even if I'm away.

So tried and tested for years by many members... and it's free which is pretty impressive they still do that.  It's honestly hard to beat.
883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do I Get 0.0023 to 0.01 BTC Per Day on: May 13, 2016, 07:50:43 AM
claiming bitcoin from faucets or using captcha works is total waste of time. don't do it. faucets pay ~100-1000 satoshi per claim and you waste a lot of time, and bandwidth doing them. 0.01BTC means visiting ~10000 faucets.

try to learn some skills and earn money that way. you can do translation, anything that is related to your field that you are studying as a student.

And if your paying your own electricity you are losing money in most cases.   Leave a full computer or laptop on for faucets espcially and chances are you spend more to have it turned on then the cent's you make per hour.

Anyone that thinks of faucets I suggest buying 5 dollars of BTC and save yourself hundreds of hours of faucet time.   You then can spend all those hours learning something.
884  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What will happen if someone did control more than 51% of the hashrate? on: May 13, 2016, 07:38:21 AM
People get worried when they hear 51 percent.   Ghash pool got it.... then fell drastically, people switched to make sure it did not stay that way.  So we have a example where a pool did achieve 51 percent.  And no bad things happened.

For a pool or person in bitcoin to perform any 51 percent attack would tank BTC price.  So in most if not all cases hurt their business.  So I don't think we will ever see it happen on an attack between it not being in best interest and people switch pools if it gets that high.

886  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Beginners Guide on: May 13, 2016, 07:15:31 AM
So we should use ant mining or also cloud mining is the same?
because i found cloud mining on oxbtc, the maintenance fee is very cheap.
could someone give me advice?
Thanks in advanced!

Don't go with one that you found that has cheap prices.  Sadly cloud mining if full of scams.  A lot of sites do not even have gear behind them, they fake mining.. give you part of what you paid.. and in the end you lose money.

I really like owning gear personally.  You might look at owning the gear and hosting it somewhere.  There are lot's of options out there for this.  But if you do decide to go cloud mine as Phil suggested deffinaly go with hashnest.

Thank you for your advice! It's very helpful, i will be care of all these cloud mining site.
i see their mining facility on facebook so i decide to make a little invest.
if i got any news i will come back to post it.
thanks again for your advice!

I hope you stuck with a "little" as they are so many cloud mining scams.  Hashnest is the ONLY one you will find people recommending if you really want cloud mining, and there is good reason for that.

I personally like idea of owning miner and hosting it somewhere even better myself.  But anyone reading be careful with "low cost/high roi" cloud mining.  As a lot of those sites will take the money and run, or just simulate mining and make it appear you lost some money due to fees.  Most of these fly by night cloud mining sites I doubt even have equipment.
887  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: $10,000-15,000 rig on: May 13, 2016, 07:10:35 AM
And for those mentioning spending on GPU for ether it sounds good currently.  But what scares me is longterm the difficulty.  If most miners turn on a rig or two... difficulty goes up. It is getting more popular and difficulty is going up.

Look at last 30 day's - https://etherscan.io/charts/difficulty .   That is like 30 percent or so up if my math was right.
888  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos Help a girl out my Bitcoin Talk account has been Hacked!!! on: May 12, 2016, 08:20:52 PM
Honestly I appreciate all of the support from you guys. I really didn't think this was going to go very well when I posted.
I thought it would end up being a bash Cassie troll fest, but I was wrong. Even if I don't get the account back I'm starting to feel better about the community I once loved. I really haven't been all that active because of the shady shit that goes down and its really gotten hard to be able to vet and gauge good and bad around here..

Don't lose faith.  At some point the community will band together and ostracize these account buyers/sellers that are a cancer to bitcointalk.

And I think escrows need to show character like yours and not escrow account sales.   As really the person escrowing account does not know if it was farmed or hacked, they are taking word of someone who chances are is shady with selling accounts.

I think getting rid of escrows will slow it down.  With it being ok to buy/sell they will always be there.  But no escrow will slow it down.
889  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: May 12, 2016, 06:36:58 PM
Ok, I'll play. ETH rigs 650 MH/s total.

Thanks for sharing! Very impressive setup do you mind sharing what PSU's and how many of each model?

Would love to know more.
890  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos Help a girl out my Bitcoin Talk account has been Hacked!!! on: May 12, 2016, 06:33:31 PM
To end this chat i will sleep well as i didnt buy an account without staked message and adress even not being the oldest adress connected to the account its the proof of a legit transaction.

But the person you paid was not the OP was it?

So where is the person that you paid for this account?

The only person that might owe you anything is the asshole that you bought the account from (but you knew that you were buying a hacked account anyway so really I don't think anyone cares much about your loss - your lesson is one that needs to be learned by others here to stop this kind of rubbish from repeating).

Obviously you are *not sorry* but just *sorry that you got caught* and people like you are why the human race is basically a disgrace.

There are several old members here that stayed away from bitcointalk and then returned soo your imagination is out of being realistic.I had paid someone, that for me were the real owner that wanna to leave the forum as some people had already made that and sold their account soo your questions keeps making no sense, and i agree just one thing the security level need to be higher, 2fa its a must since people are getting scammed all days and this must stop.So no longer hackers can take advantage of the accounts and make a fake sell to others and come complaint latter,in not saying this happend here but its the second thing here that hapened already ,the accoung get sold and the supost real owner comes to get it back.

You bought an account and feel taken advantage of?  I view buying an selling of accounts as shady I'm surprised people are willing to escrow them to be honest.  You really should raise an account of your own... yes it takes much longer.

You really have two options you can give account back and look like a "good guy" for what it's worth.  Or you can try get money back that most likely will not happen and you have a account with negative forever.    Honestly you are best off giving it back to original owner and just stay away from buying accounts.
891  Other / Meta / Re: forget bitcointalk account email address on: May 12, 2016, 06:11:42 PM
Hi guys thanks for your helps,i forget my password and my email address and now i think i cant recover that email either because in order to recover yahoo maill need phone number and i am not using the phone no i registered at that mail anymore.thanks

Do you know your username?   If you used a BTC address on the forums and it's posted you might be able to get it back.  Basically you find a address used with account and sign a message stating that it is your account with that day's date to prove it's current.

But that is what I would look for is BTC address posted for trades, sig campaigns, etc.  Do you know the username?
892  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: May 12, 2016, 06:08:34 PM
if you have a legendary account and active on your campaign, offering your skills  service for bitcoin, get into trading, collecting faucet, gambling, joining on a mining site and hyip.. 1 btc is easy to earn. you can earn 6 btc a year by doing all of that.

If you want to earn from all this sources then you don't need to have legendary account, you can do it even with hero or senior member accounts as you also have other options to earn.

Full member is actually the biggest bump in most campaigns pay.   Going from hero to legendary is not that much in most, in Bit-X it's actually the same.   I waited till Hero till I did it and actually my first ones were for coins which I still have.  But eventually shifted to one that pay's BTC.

But I would say work on making good constructive posts, and get to full member.  That is when to really start looking at signature campaigns in my mind.
893  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S7 is available at bitmaintech.com with 4.86TH/s, 0.25J/GH on: May 12, 2016, 06:04:04 PM
that stil would not explain all three failing - the shorted board would fail, but its unlikely all tree boards shorted at once and long enough to do this damage before killing the PSU
those look like garbage 18-20awg wires, but again - this should have failed on the board with two connectors long before the ones with three.

If i had to make a guess, i would say its related to the polarity, perhaps a custom wiring job gone wrong. Im not sure though if the S7 would force such a massive power draw though in that scenario?

even the connector on the controller burnt up. I dont think its a problem with the S7 - this looks like the result of a server PSU conversion where the wires were done wrong, and a GND or 12V wire was in the wrong pin, or shorted out in the breakout board/soldering

agreed.  user error IMHO.  Only time I get heating up plugs is insufficient power supply wattage, or low line input voltage due to an overloaded power line to the miner's supply.

I have had two coolmax 1600W power supplies fail on S7's.....

They are rated to put out 110A of 12V and 50A of 12V (12V#1, &2 as per the sticker on the power supply)

What they fail to mention is 12V#2 is only supplying the SATA plugs and the motherboard plugs.... so you are limited to 110A in reality.  And when you have all those PCIE plugs hooked to a board;  well;  I have two power distribution daugehter boards that have caught fire and half melted down.   I since have started lopping off the motherboard power plugs and attaching PCIE plugs to them to power a single hashing board.  This has balanced out the power draw in the supply and there has been no problem since...

So;  Its can easily be user error.

I tend to use material provided by the manufacturer, becuase i suppose they know what they are doing and using, so i do not want to use some server- or desktop PSU's for this type of application  Smiley

I have had really good luck with this aswell.  Just buy a  APW3-12-1600 when purchasing a S7, and so far no problems.  You know by buying them the PSU was designed with the miner in mind.   Most likely that coolmax did not have a S7 in mind when designing it.

On S5 and older I did use high quality ATX PSU's.  But now I am using  APW3-12-1600 on S7's and then go into a PDU.
894  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread May 11 to May 24? picks are closed!!.... prize = 0.40 btc on: May 12, 2016, 05:57:10 PM
The good news on value is we are not really going down to much on this period after May 10's drop.   But we are not going up really much either with price around 451.  I kinda like the coindesk chart if you have not used it ever might check it out - http://www.coindesk.com/price/   I personally use coinbase when I sell (normally to pay electricity) but it is easy to select what exchange on it to view.

895  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: May 12, 2016, 01:09:07 PM
and if you do not have the skills you need not worry, because if you have any luck, you can get 1 BTC in one year, just by hunting giveaway. signature campaign also does not require skill, but knowledge is essential to join the signature campaign.

Yep, knowledge is required in signature campaign but skill doesn't. You should need to consider things that you are into. So, that you will know the basic things that you need to apply and you can use it properly.

I don't agree with you. Who said signatures campaign doesn't need any skill ? For us who don't use English language for speaking everyday, we must learn and keep increase our English skill to join signatures campaign aside learn knowledge about bitcoin etc.

It really is knowledge that is needed.  You might earn this by doing a skill or other way's.   I do agree on it taking some knowledge this is part of why I suggest new members don't go straight for signature campaign.

Also it can be time consuming.  I would spend the time personally on here with or without signature pay but it add's up I've spent a ton of time online here reading and posting.  But yes signature campaigns are a good way to earn a little extra cash for normal posting.  And some campaigns can add up to the threads goal of 1 BTC.
896  Other / Meta / Re: forget bitcointalk account email address on: May 12, 2016, 01:05:23 PM
I have full member account registered in late 2014 and now i forget my login email address, what i need to do to recover it?
if you remember your user name or password then you easily login in to your account other you need to your e-mail to forget.

He really needs to know email if he forgot password though.   If you use secret question it locks account due to security, so DO NOT use secret question to try to change password.  So he either needs to find the email or hopefully he had account staked and can prove ownership via signing on the forum.

If he forgot user name, email, his posts, etc.  Not going to be much you can do to help him.
897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do I Get 0.0023 to 0.01 BTC Per Day on: May 12, 2016, 01:02:09 PM
Hey Everyone; i'm trying to look for a way to get at least $1 - $5 per day in Bitcoin. I have 10 hours of free time, and im looking for a free way to get this much as a starter in Bitcoin.

I need to obtain $20 to continue my course for affiliate marketing; so please help me out with suggestions.

do resolve captcha at kolotibablo.com . u can earn 1$/more every day.
I hope this helps

I agree with him, if you have many free times and can type fast, you can try join captcha solver like kolotibablo.com. The rates is quite good though, you can earn much money from it.

I'm currently trying out this website; does the payout come in bitcoin? I can use paypal payout or credit card since i dont have any credit card

I found it just by clicking on FAQ: http://kolotibablo.com/main/faq . But... I still would not recommend this long term I don't know this sites but most are like 2 dollars for a thousand or something like that.  So were talking a lot of time, and effort for very little pay.

Long term if you learn a skill that you can sell or even use in regular life and buy BTC your much better off.  I know I have a book arriving today for me to keep current in some aspects of computer security.  But programming and design are popular ones that are sold in services.  Learning either and selling it long term is so much better the faucet or solving capatcha's.
898  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make a constuctive post? on: May 12, 2016, 12:53:05 PM
how to make a constructive post ? I had free time long enough in the day , I only create confusion for the constructive posts . Please help me with advice

There is no set in stone anwser amount of free time does not equal good posts.   A constructive post I see as helping someone else, sharing information, or even asking questions can be constructive if done right.

In general one liners like "Ohhh good idea" and others like that are crap post, and spam.  Avoid the one liners.  But sometimes you truly can anwser someones question with one sentance... so it's possible to be constructive.    But most will take more then  a sentence.

I suggest re-reading after posting to.  I have made post's before that i thought were good and after re-reading thought sub-par.  So I either fix them or if I completely hate it delete it.  But hang in there for a few weeks and I think you will be able to pick constructive posts from crap pretty easy.

Gentlemen,

I am back in business!)))
All 4 chains are working. I just did clean the S4 with a vacuum cleaner and checked the connection (plug-out, plug-in).

Everything works well!

Thanks to everybody for help and support!

Not a problem!  Glad it is working good again.   For anyone else with a S4 out there if your in a dusty area you might want to open it up every once in a while to spray dust out.   It is surprising how much dust they can collect.

But best of luck mining!
