Quick question though, does this mean openex in its entirety will become opensource? I think that if you did that, then all your contributions wont be for naught.
whats in it for me? Reading over this thread it kind of looks like a lot of people were fucked over, doing that might help the case a bit. isn't leaving the repo up just opening the doors for more people to make exchanges that can easily be hacked, thus causing even more people to be fucked out of their coins? that's something i don't want on my conscience. maybe if i was an experienced developer and the code was secure, which we all know it isn't. does that make sense? How much worth of BTC/Alt-coins worth have you lost in your exchange? enough to make you turn your nose in disgust while i hang my head in shame. |

I mean, why didn't you release it yourself since it does take some time to create a (good) coin.
https://twitter.com/_OpenEx_exchange got hacked. this coin was planned to be released in conjunction with the opening of the OSC market. unfortunately, some hackers had other plans and now i have alot on my plate. hence why i left it on github this morn |

dev is offline and no word from him and mining does not work, coin stuck on block 8, nice launch he's not the dev.i posted in the original op that i didn't have time to release it. iposted it on github about an hour ago, first come first serve. looks like someone tried to mine it with a gpu and forked it. Yeah, I noticed that he copied your coin. Since you were first I'm going to go with your release when it happens. Not going to mine this copycopy I no longer have plan to release it, thats why i left it on github. |
